This is a warning against being abusive towards Forum & Player Moderators.
It has come to our attention that a number of users who have had their threads locked, hidden or some other action taken against them, have been searching for the Forum Moderator responsible in-game, entering their clan chat channel and proceeding to behave in an abusive manner.
This is considered harassment and will NOT be tolerated.
Please remember that a Forum Moderator is a player who has been hand-picked by Jagex staff to assist them on the Forums. They patrol the message boards, making sure that all is well. More importantly, the Forum Moderators work on an entirely voluntary basis. They receive no in-game benefits, free items or membership credit.
Forum Moderators follow OUR rules and guidelines, this means that if you have an issue with an action that has been taken, it is not appropriate to be abusive towards the Moderator who took the action.
If you are abusive towards any player on the Forums, then action will be taken against your Forum account, if you are abusive towards any player in-game, then action will be taken against your in-game account.
