Today,One of our customers chated with me, and he said he received an email asking for his usrnmae, password and recovery question pretend to be jagex. The sender email is jagexmoderatorstaff@gmail.com.
OMG, It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard, for such an email address jagexmoderatorstaff@gmail.com, but not at the form for xxxx@runescape.com. So just copy the mail, and hope it would help you and avoid of being hack.
Pl see the conten below:
“After viewing over your recent history in Runescape we have concluded you eligible as a Runescape Player Moderator. Now before you can become a full fledged member of the Runescape Player Moderator community you will become a Trial Moderator for approximately no less than one week in time. If we feel you credible for the job after that point you will then become a Player Moderator.
Remember Runescape Player Moderators are NOT part of the Jagex Staff. They are just players in Runescape with special privileges and have an obligated duty to report abusive players, mute them, and stay up to date on current Runescape issues.
If you feel you are well contained enough and have the desire to become a Runescape Player Moderator please respond by sending your Username, Password, Bank Pin (if applicable), and Recovery Questions (if applicable) to .
We need conformation that this is the correct account and this is the only way we can do this. You may also contact this email with any additional questions about Player Moderators.
