Money Making Runecrafting Guide

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Don’t have enough money to buy runes? In this guide, you’ll learn how to make over 181 million gp by making runes.

This runecrafting guide includes mining rune essence, which I would recommend getting a high level. If you don’t have high level mining or can’t buy the essence, then read my Runescape Money Making Guide .

Before you start:

Complete the Rune Mysteries quest by first talking to the Duke in the Lumbridge castle. Bring the mysterious object to Sedridor in the WizardTower basement. Then, take it to Aubury in Varrock rune shop. Come back to Sedridor and you’ve finished the quest.

Level 1-22:

Go to Varrock and get a pickaxe (highest you can use). Mine 1,120 rune essence. Use the talisman from the quest and get a tiara. Then, go to Falador east bank. Go south to the air altar. Use the talisman on it, then use the tiara on the altar inside. Then wear the air tiara and go back to the bank. Get as much essence as possible from the bank and go back to the altar. This time you’ll only have to click the altar to get inside. Keep doing this until you finish off the essence. When you’re finished, you can sell the air runes or keep them.

Level 22-44:

Get 10,005 essence and make air runes. By this time, you should be able to make 3 air runes per essence. This makes a profit when buying for 30-35 each. You’ll be able to sell the air runes 15-20 each. That means you make 15-25 profit per essence.

Level 44-55:

If you’re a member, then get 12,332 pure essence and make natures. If you’re f2p (free to play), then get 22,198 essence and make it into airs. Relax, you get profit if you’re buying them. You can make 5 airs per essence. That means for 30-35 each essence, you get 45-65 profit per essence. That’s over 1 million gp!

Level 55-66:

36,625 pure essence if you’re making natures; 65,924 essence if you’re making airs. Air-makers can make 6 airs per essence now. If you’re making airs, that’ll make you almost 4 million gp!

Level 66-77:

108,815 pure essence if you’re making natures; 195,866 essence if you’re making airs. Air-makers can make 7 airs per essence now. That’s 14 million gp!

Level 77-88:

323,355 pure essence if you’re still making natures; 582,039 essence if you’re making airs. Air-makers can make 8 airs per essence now. That’s over 52 million gp!

Level 88-99:

960,962 pure essence if you’re making natures; 1,729,731 essence if you’re making airs. Air-makers can make 9 airs per essence now. At level 91, nature-makers can make 2 natures per pure essence. At level 99, air-makers can make 10 airs per essence. That’s over 181 million gp!!

Money Making Smithing Guide

Are the ores in your bank getting you all dirty? Make them into bars and get rid of them for money!

This is my smithing guide; however, this guide requires some pretty high mining levels, so it’s recommended that you read my Runescape Money Making Mining Guide before you read this one.

Level 1-30:

Make bronze bars from copper and tin ores. Then, sell them to buyers on forums (you don’t have to be a member to look for them) for as much as 100 each. If you get bored of making bronze bars, then at level 20 smithing you can make silver bars. They can also sell for high prices on the forums.

Level 30-50:

Make steel bars from iron ore and 2 coal. Sell them for 600 each to buyers on forums. If you get bored, you can make gold bars at level 40 smithing and sell them for 200 each. If you are a member and you want massive experience, then do the Family Crest quest and get goldsmith gauntlets. If you make gold bars with the goldsmith gauntlets, then you can get more experience from them than if you were smithing rune bars.

Level 50-70:

Make mith bars from mith ore and 4 coal. Sell them for 1k each to buyers on forums.

Level 70-85:

Make adamant bars from adamantite ore and 6 coal. Sell them for 3k each to buyers on forums.

Level 85+:

Continue making whatever you’re doing or you can start making rune bars with 1 rune ore and 8 coal. Rune bars can be sold for 12-13k to buyers on the forums; however, for f2p (free to play) players, the only rune rocks are found in high-level wilderness.

A guide to making Runescape millions.

All of you Runescape players have you seen those cool hally’s? The amazing rune armour! The dazzling abby whips! Stop thinking of how when I can tell you how you can! If you’re willing to give the time to read this article you can go to 85+ and 20M in 15 days! There are very few requirements to make millions and Runescape by just having a level 3 character.

First Hundred Thousand:
After making your first thousand it’s easy making money after that. To make your first thousand you can use any of the methods up there and the ones im about to tell you. If you pked you could’ve made stats go up to use new weapons and armour use the money you just earned to upgrade and pk more.

Now if you want to train and make large money is killing cows and making them into hard or soft leather and sell them for 45-50gp ea. Sell them on the forums. Use this method “Selling add item here for how much your selling for buy over 100 get decreased offer”. Use that to make millions!

Quick Money in Runescape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Need quick, free, legal money? This method has no requirement level, is not a hack or cheat, and takes no money to start.

Looking to make quick Runescape money on Runescape cheaply? I have a way that made me 30k in 10 min. You’ve probably seen scams or hacks on the internet, but those are either risky or don’t work. This takes no money or level to start. Here is a legal, cheap way to make money. The only requirment is to have completed the rune mysteries quest.

You are going to become an air runner. Simply, you trade rune essence (25, un-noted) at the air temple for 2+k and rune essence (25, noted). Here’s how: First go to F2p (non- members) world 16(The official air-runners world). Now mine or buy 25 rune essence and find, buy, or otherwise acquire an air talisman or tiara. Next go to the eastern -most bank in Fallador. Wear either really light cloths, such as a leather body and chaps or wizzard’s clothes, or nothing, as you will need to run to make the most money. Now take the essence and talisman/tiara and run south from the bank out of fallador and to the air temple. Once in the temple, you will see a LOT of people. Look for one saying something along the lines of “Open! 2k and essence back” and then their name. They may also say Just open, or any variation of that. Trade with one of these (this may take a while, just keep trying) and immediately offer all of your essence. They will offer their money and 25 noted essence. Accept, go through the portal, and run north to the bank. Deposit the notes, take them out again as un-noted, and repeat. It costs you nothing because you get your essence back and is quicker than most other ways of getting money. There, now aren’t you glad you didn’t lose your account by hacking (or get agravated by trying fake hacks)?

Now, you are probably wondering how people can afford to pay 2k for 25 essence. Here’s how, in case this appeals to you. If someone has a high runecrafting level, they can create more than one rune per rune essence. The max is ten air per essence. So, if they need a LOT of air runes, they can mass produce them without running back and forth to the bank if they are a mage, or if they need experience they can sell the runes for ten gp each later and get most of their money back along with a LOT of experience. Many will run airs for a while in between crafting to raise money, then continue crafting. I personally don’t do it, because I don’t mage or runecraft, but it can help a lot of people.

Well, I hope this helped you get that extra gp you needed for that rune platebody,or those extra air runes you needed to kill that monster. Goodbye, and happy air running.

Runescape Money Making Tips

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Tips

This are money making tips for Runescape.

For anyone who plays runescape (RS) heres some money making tips.

Money making tips- If you’re a member get your crafting really high and make ruby or diamond amulets. Then get your magic lvl really high to enchant them to make strength amulets (from ruby amulets) or power amulets (from diamond amulets). Sell them to non-members because they can’t enchant and sell the 4 5-10k each. You’ll make a big profit if you do this.

If you want a lot of money (gp) and your not a high lvl at most skills here a good money making tip. First get all the money you have and buy cooked lobs for about 45gp each at the store spend all your money to get a lot of lobs. Then you note all of them and go to a world with a lot of players. Sell them all for about 200gp each keep doing this and you’ll be rich.

This is another way to make money without having high leveled skills. First complete the Rune Mysteries quest to be able to rune craft. Then get 4k rune essence or more and sell them for 90gp each. This will get you money and mining experience.

If you’re high leveled in combat go kill moss giants you will get big bones which you should store in your bank. They also drop good items like gems which you should make into rings and sell. You can also get runes and weapons and armor which you can also sell. You can get your combat level up and also get some cash. If you want you can also kill ice giants and hill giants they have big bones and drop good items too.

Go to Port Sarim and take good range, mage, or melee armor. Go to the entrance of Port Sarim and go east if your facing Port Sarim. You will find earth, air, water, and fire, wizards here. Kill them to get runes and talismans sell the runes to the rune shop close by and sell the talismans to player for 500gp each.

Go to Port Sarim’s jewelry shop and buy a lot of jewelry of what ever kind they have most of. Then go to another world and sell them if they don’t have a lot there. Keep doing this to get a ton of cash. But this may take a while so you might have to keep trying.

Go to Al-Kharid and go to the gem shop and buy a lot of uncut gems. Cut them and make them into amulets. Sell them all to get a lot of money or enchant them to make more money.

Runescape Money Making Mining Guide

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Money Making Guide

Are you frustrated with rocks intimidating you with their weird colors? Follow my guide to give them what they deserve, while profiting from them.

Level 1-6:

If you plan on training mining only, then you can do the rune mysteries quest and mine rune essence to sell for 35 each. If you plan on training mining and smithing, then mine copper and tin (Falador mine is best due to the proximity of the bank and the furnace) to make into bronze bars that can be sold for 100 each. Check the forums on Runescape to find bronze bar buyers (you don’t have to be a member).

Level 6-21:

Either way, by this time you should have enough money to buy a steel pickaxe from Nurmof (inside the Falador mine). Use the steel pickaxe and continue mining the essence or copper and tin.

Level 21-31:

Now, go buy a mithril pickaxe from Nurmof with the money you’ve earned and use it to mine iron rocks in the southern portion of the Falador mine (low level miners mine here). Sell the iron ore at Falador bank for 100 each on world 1-5 (whichever isn’t full when you look).

Level 31-41:

Go buy an adamant pickaxe from Nurmof with your money. Mine the iron in the northern portion of Falador mine now. If the scorpions hurt you too much, then you can still mine the iron where you were before.

Level 41-60:

Go buy a rune pickaxe from Nurmof or from players for 32k (32,000 coins) if there isn’t one at his shop. Mine any coal rocks you can find (many coal rocks will be used by higher-level miners). Sell the coal for 180 each on worlds 1-5. An alternative may be to mine gold rocks in the crafting guild if you have over level 40 crafting or anywhere else you can find them. You can then sell the gold ores for 450-500 each (just find a buyer in the forums).

Level 60-70:

You now have access to the mining guild. There are 37 coal rocks and 5 mithril rocks in the mine. You can continue to mine coal or gold, but you can also mine mithril rocks that sell for 400 each on the forums.

Level 70-85:

You can continue mining the rocks you did from level 60-70; however, at level 70 you can mine adamantite ores that sell for over 1k each.

Level 85+:

Congratulations, you can mine rune; however, for f2p (free to play) players, the only rune rocks are found in high wilderness. The ores can be sold for 12k each, so it’s your choice to mine them or not.

Runescape Non Members Money Making Guide

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Making Runescape Money, Runescape Money Making Guide

Runescape is one of the most popular games of today and gold is in big demand. Non-members, learn how to get your fair share of gold legitimately.
Runescape is one of the most popular online RPG’s as of yet and no wonder its in-game currency gold is in big demand. For starters, there is no “easy way” to make gold but hopefully by reading this guide, it will make the gold-making process a whole lot easier. I will be listing some of the top ways for non-members to make their fair share in gold (in no particular order).

One of the simplest and yet most profitable ways to make your keep in Runescape is to mine rune essence and sell it. You can pretty easily pull of 25 per essence, 30 if you’re good at selling. Simply do the Rune Mysteries Quest (which should be a no-brainer as the quest is very easy) and then talk to the appropriate NPC to get teleported to the place where you can mine essence. Once you have mined so your inventory is full, teleport back and make your way to a bank (Varrock is good, as it is very crowded) and sell off your essence. This is a very easy way to make some quick cash and there are very little requirements.

Fishing is another good way to make money. Unlike the first method, it is a little more complicated and has a much higher requirement. Fishing is only really profitable at level 40 or higher, when you can fish lobsters. It will take a good day or 2 of fishing to get to level 40 but compared to mining and smithing, it is a whole lot faster. I suggest you look up a good fishing guide to find an effective way to level up your fishing.

It is important to have a high cooking level along with your fishing level so you will be able to cook what you catch and sell it. Cooked lobsters can go for easily 200 gold, 250 if you’re a good salesperson. The only place for non-members to catch lobsters is at Karamja. To get there, you need to go to Port Sarim and catch the boat, which costs a total of 60 gold coins for both ways (to and from the island). Cook your caught lobsters, drop the burnt ones and then make your way to Draynor bank.

Once at Draynor, withdraw 60 gold, deposit your lobsters and then repeat. Once you achieve a goal amount of lobsters (mine is 500), go and sell them at Varrock bank where there are a lot of buyers.

Mining and Smithing is the third way I will be explaining on how to make gold. I am not too experienced with this method as it can be very long and very tedious. The basic idea is to mine a lot of ore until you get to a goal amount, store them in a nearby bank, melt all the ore into bars and then smith the bars.

Eventually, after a LONG time you will be able to make unbelievably large amounts from smithing armour and weapons. A more simplified way is to just make money by mining coal and selling the ore straight up for around 170-200 each. Coal only requires a mining level of 30 so this is much easier to reach than smithing armour and only requires the mining skill. A good place to mine coal is at the Dwarven Mines because there is Varrock bank nearby where you can store and sell your coal.

This is an unusual way of making money, but it works. Basically, complete the Stronghold of Security over and over again. The Stronghold is in the Barbarian Village in the mine. You will get around 10k gold in total for completing the Stronghold. It is advised that you do this one with caution because monsters in the Stronghold WILL attack and are very high leveled once you get to the later levels. Bringing food is a good idea and be ready to run. Regardless this way is quite easy and not very tedious because you are given pure gold so there is nothing to sell. The questions asked in the Stronghold of Security are no-brainers. Another benefit from this way is that there are effectively no requirements.

Lastly, this isn’t really a major way to make gold but if you are looking to level your combat, fight the dark wizards at the stone henge at southern Varrock. They drop runes which you can sell for a LOT each (as much as 1k?). The wizards will attack at will and are aggressive so this is not advised for if you are below around level 15. Bringing food is ideal.

And that concludes my guide to making money. I hope this guide will help you on your quest for riches in Runescape. Have fun, and remember, it’s just a game. Scamming achieves nothing.

Mar 26, 2009 – Development Diary

Posted by: cow  //  Category: runescape news

Today we’re releasing the first of a new line of Development Diaries. We’ll be using these diaries to inform you of future content, give you an insight into the development process here at Jagex, and let you get to know the RuneScape developers a bit better.

These new Development Diaries will be different from the ones we used to do. They’ll be more informal and personal, written by the developers themselves and keeping you informed about development milestones as they happen. The diaries will often track projects for the whole of their development, from the initial idea right up to release day. This process takes many months, so be aware that the projects today’s diary is about won’t be ready any time soon.

We’ll be releasing these diaries regularly, and we’ll be using them to track a number of different projects – so the next diary will be about a different project, but we’ll get back to the subject of this diary in a few weeks. We won’t be doing diaries on every project, though, so some releases will still take you by surprise!

The first Development Diary is entitled “Reviving an old quest series”. To find out which quest series we mean, check it out here.

Beginner’s Guide to Runescape

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Beginners' Guide

Runescape is a massive online web-based RPG that has caught a lot of interest over the past few years. It has grown tremendously, and it should have, because it’s a great game. If your new to it, then keep reading this guide will talk you through how to make a good start on the game, and give you a taste of what the game has to offer. Read on.

You start on Tutorial Island, here, you’ll learn all the basics of combat, cooking, fishing, fire making a lot of the skills basically. The tutorials on the island are very interactive, so you’ll learn most of the basics on that. What’s important though, is once you get off Tutorial Island what do you do? Where do you go? All is explained in this guide.

Once you get off Tutorial Island, you end up in Lumbridge, the starting village of Runescape. Here you’ll find a lot of low level monsters for you to kill, and collect loot off – gold pieces, feathers, bones, the lot but are you looking for a better way to start off? Being an experienced player, I would suggest that you actually look to expertise in one skill for now, and really push your development on that one skill. For example, a good skill to start with is mining. It’s requirements are very basic, all you need is a pickaxe, and the right mining area. You’ll be supplied with a pickaxe so there’s no need to worry about that.

Mining is very interesting. You gain experience in mining dependant on the ores you mine. You receive a certain amount of experience every time you mine that type of ore, and as your levels increase, you’re able to mine a much larger variety of ores.

The reason why mining is a good skill to start off with, is because you can combine it with smithing, the skill of making armours in order to make yourself your first set of armour. Plus, once you get to about level 30 mining, you can make quite a lot of money through the mining of iron and coal as they both sell for a nice amount each.

To start off mining, just make sure you’ve got your pickaxe in your inventory (or you can equip it by clicking on it in your inventory), and head off down to the nearest mines. The nearest mines from Lumbridge and one of the best to start off in, in my own opinion is the south-east Varrock mines. Just head north from Lumbridge (cross the bridge) and you should hit Varrock pretty soon (it’s best if you open up the World Map that Runescape provides you above the gaming screen). If you haven’t already, deposit all items (there is a bank in Varrock) you’ve got in your inventory except your pickaxe (if you haven’t equipped it) and head off to the mines.

Start off by mining copper, and then once you hit the appropriate level, move onto more challenging ores like iron. If you want more information on mining ores, and the level requirements to mine them along with the different level requirements for using different pickaxes, check out this page.

Runescape Merchanting Guide

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Beginners' Guide

Runescape is a game of endless possibilities. Seriously, when I say that I mean it. It’s a bit like the American-dream, you can instantly make money from the word go. Obviously, there’s a catch to be able to make loads of GP in Runescape, you’ll need a bit of money to invest.

If your totally new to Runescape, then it’s best that you start with one particular skill, and exploit it to make money. To give you an idea of what I mean, take mining for example. Mining is a good way for any character to make some GP all you need is your trusty pickaxe, and a nice mining spot near the bank. Mining is a good way skill to really concentrate on, as it is one of the skills that could potentially make you a lot of money (especially with ores such as coal and onwards).

Now, onto merchanting. Merchanting is basically buying and selling items your profit being the different between the amount you bought something for and the amount your selling it at. You’ll need an initial investment before you can really start making good money with merchanting, so I suggest you go out and mine until you make around 200,000GP (200k) before you begin thinking of making a lot of money. Having larger amounts to invest in merchanting is always a better thing, but 200k+ will do.

Right, now onto the nitty gritty stuff, one really effective way I made millions on Runescape was to buy and sell Runite (Rune) armour. Rune armour was previously only worn by the strongest of player, but now that the game is developed and has been around for quite a while, nearly every Tom, Dick and Harry has the capabilities to wear it. That’s what makes it good armour to deal in – it’s very popular.

If your a free player, log onto World 1 (if members, try World 2 maybe) and go to the West bank in Varrock, you’ll notice that there are thousands of players in and around the bank the prime place for you to buy and sell your goods. What your aim is, is to buy separate pieces of Rune armour, and then once you have a full set, sell it, and make a profit on it. For example, I may buy a Rune Full Helmet off one person for 20,000 GP (20k), a Plate Body off someone else for 55,000GP (55k), a pair of Rune Legs for 22,000 GP (22k) off another person, and last but not least a Rune Kite Shield for around 45,000 GP (45k). All these items total to 142,000 GP (142k). Now, you might think that you’ve just wasted a lot of money on this armour but trust me, if your a savvy business man, you’ll be able to make some nice profit on it. Next, what you should do is to try and sell the whole set of armour for 200,000 GP (200k) all together.

Normally, people pay more for whole sets of armour, and that’s why it’s pretty easy for you to sell it at that price. If it doesn’t sell, lower your price a little. Once that set of armour sells, then you’ll have made around 50,000 GP off that one set, then you go off, buy all the separate pieces of the set again, and repeat the process.

This is actually a very efficient and quick way of merchanting to make money when you have a bit of money to invest. Give it a go, it’s well worth it.
