Runescape Chat Effects

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Did you know that you could change the colors and add animations or effects to your text? I’m sure you have seen someone do this at some point in the game. A lot of times, people use this tip to draw attention to things they are selling. In any of these colors, animations, or effects, they code always goes before the message.

First, I will name the colors I know.
» Red
» Cyan
» Purple
» White
» Green
» Purple

An example would be; “red: Zammy owns you!!!” or “cyan: Saradomin Pwns you!!!”. Now I will name the effects and what they do.

Runescape Chat

glow1: Text fades red to blue.
glow2: Text fades red to purple to blue.
glow3: Text fades white to green to blue.
flash1: Text cycles red to yellow quickly.
flash2: Text cycles blue to cyan quickly.
flash3: Text cycles green to light green quickly.

Now I will name the animations;

Slide: Text slides from top to bottom.
scroll: Text scrolls right to left.
shake: Text shakes up and down.
wave: Text waves up and down.
wave2: Text waves slowly from left to right.

Runescape Chat 2

You could mix these together and get many different colors. Some examples would be;

Cyan: scroll: <>< <>< <>< Fishie! <>< <>< <><
Green: wave: ~~~~~~OCEAN! ~~~~~
flash3: slide: bsell 100K for all!

You can have a lot of fun with these Runescape Chat Effects. If you’re bored fishing, then why not try the first or second example I put there. It gets everyone pumped up and ready to fish more! Using it for selling is also a good trick. If you have 40 people there, typing all yellow text and you put red: Selling full rune! You’re going to get noticed. The idea with selling is to get the word out, and if you use a red text in an ocean of yellow, which is going to get read first, all the yellow, or the red words? The red ones of course.

Runescape Chat 3

I really like the scroll: animation. You can do quite a few things with it. I will name some of my favorite things for it.

The animation scroll: makes the words scroll across the screen going from left to right. Therefore, if you make things face that way, it looks like they are walking, swimming, or flying.

If you fishing, of course making a big long stream of <>< can be fun. Something like this:

<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

I like to leave a little space so that it has one last fish trailing behind the group.

I also like to make what looks like Kirby. There are many you could make of him, so let me show you them.

< (^. ^<) (>^. ^<) < (^. ^)> (>^. ^)> These are the most common. Therefore, if you were to take the first one and add some words you would get something like this:

< (^. ^<) ~KIRBY! ~

This would scroll across the screen and look awesome. There are a lot of little things you can make using text, and far too many to name. Some of the more common ones are; =), :), = (, :(, and so on. As I said, I could spend loads of hours here writing all the faces you can make using the = and : signs.

Runescape Chat 4

Now that you have a basic idea of chat colors, effects, animations, and a few emotions, why not go out and try them? Who knows, you might even invent some of your own!

Happy Playing!

  3. Look at the center of the Village. There will be a hole there.

  5. Click on the first door and you will pass through. The second door though, will ask you a question regarding Player Security.

  7. Go through the doors to your Right. This will take you to the Treasure Room on the Second Level.
  8. Search the Grain of Plenty at the center of the room if you would like 3,000 coins and the Slap Head emote.
  9. Go down the ladder in the South West corner. This will take you to level three of the Stronghold of Security. You will arrive in a green room with a portal in the North West corner.
  10. Walk through the doors to the North.
  11. Go through the doors to your immediate Left after that. This will take you to a room full of Catablepons and Giant Spiders.
  12. Walk to the South of the room. The Catablepons will be there. Kill Catablepons until they drop the Top of Scepter. The Catablepons will use Weakening spells on you. You might want to bring Strength Potions.

Left Skull Half

  1. Go back to the start of Floor Three and use the portal if you can use it. If not, read the following steps.
  2. Go through the doors to the East.
  3. Go through the doors to the immediate North, not the North East ones.
  4. Walk through the doors to the North West of the room you come into. Go through the pair of doors right after the pair you just went through.
  5. Follow the path and go into the Treasure room of Floor Three.
  6. Search the Box of Health at the center if you would like 5,000 coins and the Idea emote.
  7. Go down the ladder at the North East Corner. This will take you to the Fourth and final floor of the Stronghold of Security. The portal is at the South East corner of the room.
  8. Go through the North doors and walk North West until the first pair of doors you see. Go through those doors. There will be level 75 Ankous waiting for you.
  9. Kill Ankous until they drop the Left Skull Half.

Making The Skull Scepter

  1. Take the Right Skull Half and the Left Skull Half and use them on each other. This will create the Strange Skull.
  2. Take the Bottom of Scepter and the Top of Scepter you got from the Flesh Crawlers and use them on each other. This will create the Runed Scepter.
  3. Take the Strange Skull and the Runed Scepter and use them on each other. Congratulations! You have gotten the Skull Scepter!
  • Deposit your peices of the Scepter in the bank after you get them. That way, in case you die, you won’t have to start over from scratch.
  • Restock on food when you run out of food killing monsters.
  • On the First level in the Starting room, there will be a Dead Explorer in the South part of the room. Search the Dead explorer and you will find the Stronghold Notes. This is a book that tells about the Stronghold of Security.
  • You might want to bring Strength Potions with you on the Catablepon part, as they use Weakening spells, which lower your strength level.
  • To open the Gift of Peace,Grain of Plenty, and Box of Health, you need to set recovery questions.
  • If you have been spending a long time to get the sceptre and you want to keep the sceptre. Then i suggest you don’t press the invoke option unless you want to teleport to barbarian village. You can teleport to barbarian village 5 times. To check how much more times you can teleport click the divine option.

Do not bring High Value items with you while getting the Skull Scepter. You might die and lose your items! (Examples of High Value Items: Trimmed Armor, Partyhats, Santa Hats etc.) You can bring armor that is 200,000 coins or below though. If you do die. Try to get there as fast as possible, due to the gravestone update. If you wish: you might want to upgrade your gravestone to the best one as possible.

Legitimate Ways To Getting Rich In Runescape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

ver wanted to get rich in runescape but couldn’t figure it out?

You’ll walk around runescape seeing many people trading items for load of money, how do they get this money? Are they using cheats?

More than likely not, if you need to ask how people get so much money, then you obviously don’t know the common “cheats” that can be performed to get it.

There are no “cheats” in runescape, however there are easy ways to make a lot of money that people just don’t know about because they don’t know where to look.

This might suprise you, but getting rich is nowhere near as difficult as you think it is. For example, I can make a few million a day easily and you can too. It will take you a while to get yourself to that kind of level, but with practice and the knowledge that I can give you, you’ll be there in no time. I’ve revealed a few money making “cheats” throughout this article to get you started, the rest are at my website.

Two things that will definately help you on your quest to becomming a millionnaire is this, don’t waste your time begging and if it sounds too good to be true it probably is, i.e. someone is trying to scam you, so just walk away.

Most of the big time money making methods are only available to paying members of runescape.

However, on my website I discuss loads of amazing methods which also work for free players.

For example, do you know how to craft air runes? Most people do, however once you reach a certain level, you will make more runes per essence.
If you had 10 rune essence, at level 1 you can make only 10 air runes, but did you know that once you reach a certain level, you can make 100 air runes from just 10 rune essence?

And all you had to do to get there was level up enough. That means you’ll be multiplying your profits by 10, read that again, you’ve just multiplied your profits by 10.

That’s just one simple little runescape “cheat” that I can share with you. There’s many MANY more.

Here’s another one, as you know, the more you fish, the more your level goes up, but it also means that you will catch fish quicker.

Have you bee. selling raw fish? STOP IMMEDIATELY, cook the fish and sell them for a MUCH bigger profit, again, a simple little “cheat” that will help you sky rocket your profits. You may burn quite a few at first, but the more you practise the less you’ll burn and the higher your profits soar.

So for now, forget combat, yep you heard me, forget combat. Combat doesn’t bring you nearly as much money as a free player as making the most of your skills will. Combat is greta and all, but if you haven’t got the money to buy you that next wicked cool weapon, then whats the point?

Yes grinding out the levels to actually GET to where you can make a ton of money is a little teadious, but just think of how much you could be making.

I wish you all the best in making money in runescape and hope to see you at my website soon for even more tips.

How to Make a Bow in RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Guide

Bows are essential in Runescape, as they are needed for the Range skill. Using bows and arrows are a smart way to kill a NPC or monster when the ability to fight head to head is not available, for example over a stream of water or through a dungeon cage.

  1. Start by cutting down trees to make logs. If you’re starting on bows, regular logs are needed. Once you advance levels, you may cut down and use higher level trees.

  2. Have a knife in your inventory. Click on the knife and then on one log. It will give you a screen with different kinds of items you can create with the kind of log you clicked on. You’ll only be able to click on selections that you’re able to with the level you’re at.

  3. Wait for the animation of your character making the bow. After, you’ll get an “unstrung bow” in your inventory in place of the log.

  4. Pick flax (from either the flax yard or Gnome Tree Stronghold). Use a spinning wheel and create bowstring. Or, for a little more GP, you can buy bowstring straight from other players.

  5. Click on the bowstring or unstrung bow. Then click on the other item. Combining the two will create a complete bow.

  • Note that making bows are a member’s skill only. Anyone, a free or member player, may use and purchase full bows though.
  • In order to make the simplest bow, the shortbow, you need a fletching level of 5. To gain levels from 1, you can make arrow shafts from tree logs. Arrow shafts are the beginning part to make arrows.

Big Chompy Bird Hunting Walkthrough

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

What you need: 100 or more feathers (can be done with less but they’re cheap so why not play it safe?), a knife, an axe for chopping trees, a chisel and 6-10 wolf bones. You can gain wolf bones from level 64 wolves that are near the quest giver, but if you’re lower level you might consider spending around 4000 gold to buy them from the exchange.
Skill Requirements: 30 cooking, 30 ranged and 5 fletching
The Quest Reward: 2 quest points, 262 fletching xp, 1470 cooking xp, 735 ranged xp and the ability to make ogre arrows and wield them with the ogre bow.

This quest is started by talking to Rantz, an ogre located in an area called Feldip Hills, southeast of Yanille. Look for the quest marker on the map. You can get there easily by using a ring of dueling to teleport to Castle Wars arena then walking southeast (follow the impassable southern wall for a while and turn south when you’re passing Gu’tanoth). Rantz’s first task for you is to make some ogre arrows, specifically a set of six. You will want to make more for the hunting of a big chompy bird later. The only special item you need here is the Achey tree, which can be found just south of Rantz and more southwest around the swamp. The swamp is also a good place for higher levels to gather wolf bones free.

Once you’ve collected about 6 logs from Achey trees, carve them with your knife into ogre arrow shafts. Flight the arrow shafts by combining them with feathers, then use the chisel on wolf bones to make the arrowheads. Finally, combine the flighted shafts with the arrowheads (right click the arrow selection and choose make all to speed thngs up).

When you’ve got your arrows, give them to Rantz and he will tell you that you now need fat toadies. Listen to everything he has to say (click all the questions). When you’ve heard it out, go north into the cave and talk to his children. They’ll tell you they had an ogre bellows that they aren’t allowed to play with any more. It’s in the chest to the northwest. Choose unlock to remove the rocks from the top and snag the bellows. Now head back to the swamp.

Try to use the bellows on a frog and it’ll tell you to try some denser air. Use the bellows on the swamp bubbles (gross) and then try the frogs again. They’ll blow up. You’ll be allowed to catch three of them at once. Return to Rantz and ask him where to put the frogs, and he’ll point to the south. Go to where the marker is flashing and place a frog. Run away and talk to Rantz and let him know you placed the bait, then stay back. He’ll shoot at the bird when it comes. When he misses, offer to give it a go. Equip your bow and arrows and head south and place the bait again then scoot a full screen away. You can adjust the camera to see the bird at long range and lay in on him. You should have the opportunity to get a few shots off. Try using rapid fire or accurate shots. If you need to try more than two times, head back to the swamp and get more toads.

When you’ve finally got the meat, your cooking skill will come into play. Talk to Rantz again to find out what seasoning he would like. He’ll tell you to ask his boys what they’d want as well. The vegetables are in the following locations: Onion, Doogle Leaf and Tomato are west of the swamp. The onions come from the ground and a tomato can be found on the second stool from the swamp. Cabbage and Potato are both to be found southeast of Rantz. Equa Leaves are southeast of Rantz as well, but on a peninsula. When you’ve got all the ingredients, head back to the spit and cook the Big Chompy Bird meal. Talk to Rantz to wrap things up.

How to Use the RuneScape Options Menu

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Runescape is a truly massive MMORPG. In game, you can change small things that can enhance your gaming experience. These are accessed through the options menu. However, some users don’t bother with these, as they seem complicated or useless, but now those users don’t have an excuse.

  1. Access the options menu. This is done by pressing the Image:Options_button_276.jpg button. This is found at the bottom of the interface on the right hand side of the screen. Clicking it will take you to the options menu.
  2. Slidebars. Once in the options menu, there are a series of slidebars that you can use to adjust lighting and volume.
    • The Image:Brightness_857.jpg bar is used to control screen brightness. This is only there to compensate for screen-brightness on your computer in general. Sliding the bar to the right will make the in-game screen brighter, going to the left will do the opposite. You can use this to simulate night and day.
    • The Image:Music_volume_285.jpg bar is used to control the volume of the in-game music. Setting the bar to the far right will completely mute the music. This is useful if you are listening to your own music through another application. Sliding the bar to the right will increase music volume.
    • The Image:Sound_effect_volume_573.jpg button will change the volume of sound effects. These include the sound made when you correctly enter your bank pin, wood-chopping sound, mining sound, etc. If you don’t want to hear these then slide the bar to the left. Otherwise slide it to the right.
    • The Image:Area_sound_volume_962.jpg button is used to change the volume of ambient noise. (Birds twittering, signs creaking, etc). If you don’t want to hear them, slide the bar to the left, otherwise to the right.
  3. The Buttons. Below the slidebars are button which can also be used to control in-game features. These are:
    • The Image:Mouse_button_control_848.jpg button controls whether or not you need two buttons on your computer mouse. By having it on, it means that a left-click automatically does the first thing on the options list, while the right-click brings up a list. Turning it off means that every time you click it brings up the list of options. This is very useful if you are using an iMac, as the Mice don’t always have two buttons.
    • The Chat_effects_26.jpg button is used to toggle Chat-Effects on or off. Chat-Effects are when people use a code to make their speech more unique. (For instance text animation, colors, flashing text, etc). This button doesn’t seem to have much of a purpose, as all it does is either allow you to see Chat-Effects or not. If you toggle it off, and type in a code, you can still read the writing as if the toggle was on, its just the effect doesn’t appear.
    • The Image:Private_chat_split_940.jpg is used to split private chat from normal chat. If this is toggled off, private chat appears in purple under the normal chat box. If on, it appears in blue at the bottom left-hand corner of the game screen. It is recommended you toggle it on, as it makes it easier to see what your friends are saying, especially in crowded areas where lots of people are talking.
    • The Image:Accept_help_166.jpg button is used to toggle whether or not you can accept help from other players. (’Help’ covers Teleother spells, Health Paks in Castle Wars and most of the Lunar Spells). If this is toggles off, the spells will not work, or the other person’s efforts to cure you will not work. If it is on, you will be able to benefit from other player’s generosity. It is recommended you keep this on, as there are only positive benefits to accepting help.
    • The Image:Run_toggle_378.jpg button is used to toggle Run on or off. When Run is on, you will move quicker until your Run Energy is used up. The Run Energy is shown as a percentage on the button. Your run energy will decrease as you run. The rate at which it decreases is determined by your Agility level and how much weight you are carrying. This button is the only reason most users regularly access the Options menu.
    • The Image:House_options_848.jpg button is used for accessing your House Options menu. When you click on this a whole new menu screen appears, asking you whether you want to Kick Guests Out of your House, Go into Building Mode or Leave Your House. It will also tell you how many rooms are in your house. This is only any use when you are actually in your House, which is a Members-Only feature.

  • Remember, on Runescape the changes made to your account are saved via a Beta link, so you don’t have to worry about saving them maunally. Your changes will remain the same even after you log out.
  • Muting the music in-game will mute the music at the log-in screen automatically.

How to Create a Pvp World Str Hybrid

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

An amazing guide on the new pvp worlds just released about two weeks ago. This guide will help many new players wanting to be good at player versus player (pvp) combat. I hope it is very succesfull.

“Creating The Ultimate F2p And P2p Str Hybrids

How to dominate in the new pvp worlds….

Introduction: Your on your main account. You’re an average player with full rune and a rune scimitar. Suddenly out of nowhere lower level in monk robes approaches you and says, Hey want to fight? “Sure” you say. Lol you think to yourself this will be a piece of cake. He then fire blasts you and hit’s a 16, then another 16. Wow you think to yourself, not bad… You then take your armor off to fight him. He pulls out a maple bow and starts ranging you, consistently hitting numbers on you. “Omg” you think to your self he’s good. Then your down to about 20 hp, His bow lifts one more time and he quickly pulls out a rune 2-hander…You attempt to eat a lobster…. 21! K0. You add this guy and say, “Wow how are you so good?” Well he says Im a pure lol.

That’s one of most f2pers first encounters with a pure. If you want to make a pure or are interested in f2p pures read on buddy lol. In this guide you will learn how to make this pure including where to train, how to pk, and equipment you should wear. (Yes the intro was inspired by Str J00s ultimate hybrid guide) This guide is designed on dominating in the new pvp worlds. ***Skip down to the p2p section if you don’t want to read the f2p part***

Table of contents. :D

1) A back-round on pures.

2) Where to start your pure off/names.

3) Money making in f2p. :S

4) Places to train all of your stats.

5) More money making

6) Pking supplies

7) How to pk on your pure

1) A background on pures: Pures are players designed to dominate in the pking world. They always have 1 defense. They have low defense along with high attack, str, mage, range, and fairly high prayer. The idea of a pure was first considered in runescape classic and I guess the idea stuck. Runescape 2 pures were born.

2) How to start your pure/names: Some people think the most important part of a pure is its name. You might want to consider a name with no numbers. Something intimidating like the famous range/2her “Most Dreaded” now that’s an intimidating name. After tutorial island Spend your lamps on either range or mage. You should be 9 range or mage just use the tutors in lumby for the other stat you did not spend the lamps on.

3) How to make some decent starting off cash in f2p: Firstly its essential to do both the Stronghold of Security and the Stronghold Of Player Safety for 20k cash. Then go to the Grand exchange and buy about 500 iron arrows, Full iron, Iron, Steel, Mith , and addy scimmy. Spend the rest of the money on trout. Don’t use the trout in the beginning of your training use other food like herring and pike(junk fish).

4) Where to train the stats: Ok first we will start off with our strength training. Get about 10 atk and str and the chickens and collect all of the feathers. Then go to the gnomeceptor cows or near lumbridge or the regular cows and train to 20 atk and then 20 str.

Bank all of the cow hides/bones to make some decent cash for later in the game. Then go to the monks in Edgeville

and train to about 30 atk and 30 str. Then head on down to the minatores in the Stronghold Of Security and train to 40 atk and str. Now your done training your attack. Rune scimmy time. Sell all of the other scimmys. Then train to about 50 str at the minatores. Head on

down to the hill giants (use a brass key) and get 60 str here and bank all of the big bones. Finally to finish off your strength training go down to the stronghold of security again (yea I know boring…) and go the flesh crawlers and train to 70 str. (flesh crawler area)

Good job your done training your strength. Take a break because the next step is range lol. Ok hopefully you have taken a break from training and now its time to train range.

Bring all of bows in your inventory and head over to the chickens in lumbridge. Again bank all of the feathers and do this untill 10 range. Head over to gnomeceptor cows and train to 20 range and bank hides and bones. Train to 30 range at minatores or the monks. Then go to barbarian village and range barbarians behind the tables untill 40 range. Congratz buy some d hide chaps and vamps. Now head to the hill giants and safe-spot range them untill 60 range. ). Finally to finish off your range training safe spot the Ankou in the stronghold of security untill 70 range. Ask a high lvl if you don’t know where the Ankou safe spot is. Congratz, all that’s left is mage training now (finally). Start off with low lvl mage spells untill you can cast curse. Curse the zammy mage in Varrok untill 32 mage. Fire bolt (semi cheap) skeletons in Varrok sewers untill you can perform Camelot teleport. Cammy teleport untill 55 mage. High alch steel plates or anything else that’s alright in f2p untill 59/60 mage and your hybrid training is complete!

5) More money making: Now comes the time in every pures life where they will have to make about 400-500k and doing it in f2p is pretty hard so take your time and don’t get frustrated. For skilling I suggest cutting yews in edgeville for woodcutting. If your fishing fish lobs in karajama and tele to falador. For mining I suggest mining iron untill you can mine coal, coal untill you have enough money, and if your high enough mine mith, addy , or rune. If you don’t feel like skilling then telegrab zammy wines west of edgeville (you have to hop the wildy ditch) You can also kill hill giants for big bones and limp roots. You can also try merchanting if you have the patients. Well that’s pretty much the way you should make money.

6) Pking supplies: The supplies you will need for pking are as follows— About 500 lobsters (got to have a lot of these), About 50 str pots (3), 20 sets of monk robe bottoms and wizzy hats/tops, 20 Power amulets and magic amulets, Runes for fire blast ( you don’t need a lot fire blast or bind is (only for def noobs), Addy arrows, Maple short bows, and rune 2h and scimmys

7) How to player kill!!: Well your either team pking or solo pking pick one lol.

How to pk in a team: All death dot somewhere like Varrok wilderness or maybe barbarian village (everyone stands in one spot to make it look like one person) and wait for somebody not in your clan and everyone piles that one person. Make sure to bring bind runes in a clan they can help a lot. Attack them with your rune scimmy if there far away use the maple short bow (no 2h needed here :D)

Solo pking : This is simple attack anyone that you choose. If fighting a pure start out with attacking them with range and wearing them down. When there health is about half left put on ultimate strength( when are down to ¼ health here is what you do, AS SOON AS THE BOW LIFTS TO FIRE AN ARROW, CLICK ON YOUR RUNE 2H THEN CLICK ON THERE NAME. This should effect in a super fast deadly combo. This will hopefully K0 them-If not then take your maple short bow out and try again. If your fighting a def noob start out with 3-4 fire blasts and ask them to fight no arm. If they don’t take if off there screwed lol so they will probably take it off. If they don’t keep fire blasting them. When they do take off the armor use your maple short bow and k0 them with your 2h,simple as that. I recommend NOT using protect item with your 2h because your loot will be horrible. Always atk people with good stuff also and make sure both of your

are skulled. Some people might not get prayer this is fine.

+ = KO (This player is pkndemon)

“NOTE”—– When and if you consider getting say 80 str and 80 range, make sure to keep training range on ankou, and str on flesh crawlers. You don’t need to get mage any higher. You may want to consider making pk vids if your good enough. If you ever run out of cash just make about 300-500k again and then go pking. Don’t get 50k and decide to blow it all, that’s just a waste. Just get the 300-500k then go pking. You may also want to get 44 prayer if you get these high levels. The protection prayers can help after a fight just flick the protection from melee/range on. The eagle eye prayer helps hit through rune A LOT better then normal. Incredible reflexes is also good.

P2p Section

Do you want more own-age and great loot? Then you have to go p2p it pretty much owns.

Into to p2p: Your on your main account pking in edgeville to take a break of killing green drags for your dragon legs and such. Out of nowhere a lvl 74 in Ghostly and a Gnome hat ice blitz’s you and your frozen instantly. He pulls out a magic short bow and is ranging you hitting very near the 20s on every hit and your constantly trying to get away and eat at the same time. Your blitzed again and this time your on low hp. He pulls out a dragon dagger(p++) and specs you, 26-23 and you fall to the ground, cursing yourself for ever coming here in the first place.

That is a mains first encounter with a p2p str hybrid. They take MUCH longer to train but are worth it in the long run and they are loads of fun to pk on.

Goal stats: 80 range, 82 mage,80-85 str, 52 prayer, 60-70 atk

You should already have all of the stats you got in f2p (40 atk, 60-70 str, 60-70 range, and 59/60ish mage).

The first skill I suggest training is range. The only reason I say this is because it is a great hp skill and it takes really long to level so you might want to get that one out of the way. Alright so if your 60 range go to the rock crabs and use bronze knives to get to 65 range.

Then go to the Ankou in the stronghold of security and train to 70 range. Alright so after that do the waterfall quest. Train on the fire giants inside the tomb and get to 75 range. Then for the last boring part go to the blue dragons in taverly dungeon and range them to 80 range. This should get you about 3-4m coins which is a lot of help in this pure. A suggestion I have for the blue drags is to get a house in taverly (10 construction) and use a tele tab to your house and go range in the dungeon then tele to fally and bank-repeat. Do animal magnetism quest.

Mage: This is probably the most expensive stat you will ever train in your pure life. From 55-82 you must alch. Yea that’s right many hours of alching and standing around. It can get very boring but its worth it so just please keep at it. Alch yew longbows (about 1.5k and then buy more) You should have 82 mage in about a month maybe less. Then do desert treasure and all of the requirements. Try out pking with blitz and range if you would like because the last step is coming up.

Strength: ownage and is unstoppable with a dds spec at 80+ str. So if you are still 60 str train to 70 str back at the rock crabs. After getting 70 str. Then do lost city and train to 59 atk, I repeat 59 atk. Then do all of the monkey madness requirements and that will get you 60 atk. Then you can do monkey madness. DO NOT TAKE THE EXTRA EXP AT THE THEN OF THE QUEST, IT WILL GET YOU DEFENSE. Then after this do the horror from the deep quest for a zammy book which you can get another one from the lighthouse if you die. Then start creature of Frankenstein quest and get to the cave with the experiments.

(thank you tip.it) Train here to 80 strength. Training strength is a lot easier then training range and mage. Get about 50k-100k exp a day and you will have 80 str in no time.

You might also consider getting 70 atk for the Whip

Prayer: Training prayer is easy, but there are different levels people like to get.

11 Prayer: Obtained from doing desert treasure prequest priest in peril.

31 Payer: Obtained for Ultimate Strength

34 Prayer: Obtained for Ultimate Strength and Incredible Reflexes

43 Prayer: Obtained for the protection prayers and all of the strength and attack prayers. These protection prayers should only be used for pjers, after a fight flick it on, or if your getting piled/owned and running.

52 Prayer: Obtained for all of the other prayers and the prayer Smite which drains your opponents prayer, causing them to lose there protected items.

Now pick one and if you need to train it go to a gilded alter and use the bones on the alter and use dragon bones.

Pking supplies: 50 super atk and str pots, 25 pray pots, 30 anti-poisons, 20 sets of ghostly tops and bottoms, 20 climbing boots, 20 gnome hats (just called hats in the g/e), 20 amulets of power, combat bracelet, dds, mage short bows or a karils bow, runes for blitz, rune arrows or bolt racks, and 50 rings of recoils, and dragon daggers and a dragon scimmy or whip and sharks for food.

How to pk: There are A LOT of ways to pk with a p2p str hybrid and I will tell you all of them.

Just Str: Drink an anti poison and super atk and str. All you need is full iron and black d hide chaps and vamps for this. Atk them with your dragon scimmy or whip and when there at one-fourth hp spec them 4 times with you dds. Simple as that.

Mage-Str: Put on Ultimate str and incredible reflexes/maybe smite. Blitz them first then pull out a dragon scimmy/whip and k0 them with your dds when they are one-fourth hp.

All Three Combined: This is super deadly-and I personally recommend it. First find somebody around your combat lvl and drink your pots. Start out with about 1-3 blitz spells and then pull out a magic short bow or a karils bow and range them down in there health with eagle eye on. When they are half hp put on ultimate str and incredible reflexes and when there one fourth health run up and dds spec till they are dead. Awesome k0s using this type of pking. For a great video on how to pk with these styles I recommend watching Kids Ranqe pk vids 1-13 and here is video 6.

How to Complete Doric’s Quest in RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Completing this free quest will allow you to use Doric’s anvils for smithing. This is an easy method if you are mining on the west side of the free world and don’t want to go all the way to Varrock for anvils.

  1. Travel north of Falador. Take the left fork in the road since the right fork will lead you up the mountain. Enter a little hut with anvils.
  2. Ask Doric if you can use his anvils. He will ask for some ores in exchange.
  3. Go up to the Dwarven Mines (take the right fork of the mountain) and mine 4 copper ores, 2 iron ores, and 6 lumps of clay.
  4. Go back to Doric and give him what you mined. He’ll then give you a reward.

The rewards for this quest are one quest point, 1,300 mining experience (a big help for low level miners), the ability to use Doric’s anvils and whetstone, and 180 GP. The different levels of mining for this quest are: clay, 1; copper, 1; and iron, 15. If you have a mining level lower than 15, you can trade in Falador’s banks with other players, buy iron ore at the Dwarven Mine shop, or raise up your mining level to level 15.

How to Become a High Level on RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Ever see those level 100 people walking around and acting like they’re “all that”? Wanna be like them? You don’t have to be a member, but you do need some patience. Sometimes it takes a while, but this can make it faster!

Monsters

  1. Purchase a weapon (ideally a scimitar for free players made of the best metal you can wield and a dragon longsword for members, since they have the best combination of speed, price, and power) Check the in-game guide by clicking on your attack skill, and you will see a popup of all the different metals you can use.
  2. On your attack menu, there should be a controlled fighting option, usually coming third on the list. Most often, this will be called “lunge.”
  3. Buy a multitude of strength potions. These can be made in P2P(members) with herblore. Additionally, raise your prayer level so you can use some defense prayers, and bring along some good food. Go to Varrock, and by the east gate there is some training dummies.Do not use your Strength potions, but keep attacking them. They always give you exp,but you can only train attack up to level 9.
  4. Find a spot populated by many monsters a few levels lower than you are. A good place to do this is in the Stronghold of Security. Go down the hole in the middle of Barbarian Village (west of Varrock) to get there. Start killing the monsters that fit the “slightly below your level” range.
  5. Be sure to drink a Strength potion whenever your strength level goes to the normal amount. A higher strength level, even temporarily, will make you hit harder, which means more experience points (xp) faster. Keep an eye on your health, and eat food whenever it gets low. Be sure to pick up drops and bury bones.
  6. Once you are on your last bits of food, turn on your defense prayer. The monsters will hit you less, so you can stay there longer. Be sure you recharge at an altar when you’re done, though.

Monks

  1. Bring a cheese string if you are not level 20 or higher.
  2. Go to the monks near the wilderness (its scary down there)
  3. Hit the monks and keep that up until you reach the level you want your player to reach.

Tips

  • Strength and attack levels raise your level quicker than defence and hitpoint levels. Use the chop setting in your attack menu to raise attack, and slash to raise strength. Raise your defense level too, as this is also important.
  • If you are a member, the process of raising your levels is slightly easier. You can kill Rock Crabs north of Relekka and Experiments in Fenkenstrain’s dungeon as these monsters have low combat levels but high amounts of hitpoints. You do not need food for these activities if your level is high enough.
  • Also, play the minigame Pest Control. Although it is only available to members, this provides you with initial experience points from killing monsters, as well as money from winning the game. To make a triple-treat, when you win, you are awarded points which can be redeemed for experience in a combat skill.
  • It’s important to get your cooking level up so you can cook various types of foods. For example, Anchovy Pizza heals 18 hitpoints with a cooking level of 55. Also, get your fishing up, as Lobsters and Swordfish both are awesome foods. You might moan and groan about getting to level 40 fishing and cooking, but these skills are not hard to raise up to lvl 40; in fact it isn’t hard to get 10 fishing and cooking levels in one hour if you do everything right.
  • When training range and your around level 40 Range, train on Moss Giants or Lesser Demons(level 42 and 82) from behind rocks (I think this is the fastest FTP (free to play) way of training Range.
  • For members, the Tz-haar fight caves are perfect to train on. You will never lose anything when you die, and you respawn right outside of it, even better, you get Tokkul, a new type of currency, every time you die. You can buy weapons, runes, armor and more there. You never need food or potions, unless you are trying to beat every wave of the monsters.
  • Although lesser demons are level 82, they are not hard to beat. I have seen a level 9 mage with fire strike kill lessers from behind stalagmites, and they did not hit him once. Of course, meelee warriors have to go out into the open, but it still is not difficult.
  • Kill Hill giants. They get killed pretty easily and drop big bones to level up Prayer or sell. Also, you could go into the Varrock Sewers, the skeletons there are pretty easy/good to kill. Finally, Elemental Wizards (South of the Air Altar which is south of Falador) are level 13 and they have 25 hp, meaning 100exp per kill, which is good for F2P. However, they are powerful for their level as they use their corresponding Bolt Spells (Airs use Air Bolt, etc.) When you kill them, they drop runes of their kind and ashes. Do not use their corresponding spells on them, for instance, do not use Fire spells on a Fire wizard, etc. Lastly, do not wear metal armor when fighting them.
  • Kill lvl 45 skeletons on Crandor Island. They give around 250-300 xp each kill which will vary on some occasions. They are better then lesser demons until your lvl 100+ and you totally own lessers. The only reason they are better is: Lessers give 420 xp per kill, skeletons 300. You kill 2 skeletons in the time of 1 lesser

Runescape Range / Mage Hybrid (f2p)

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Ever wondered why elvemage was only around level 80 and could easily own so many other pkers without much difficulty? It was because he focused on mage and range, not everything else. Pures are players that train usually only 1 or 2 combat related skills to keep their combat level low and continue to be able to hit a large amount of damage.

In this guide you will learn how to make a mage / range hybrid (same as elvemage) except on f2p. If you follow the instructions right, you can end up with a character with 70 mage and 70 ranged and around level 50 combat for the low-level crater in Bounty Hunter.

The main idea of a range/mage hybrid depends on the magic required to bind and finish the prey off (with at least level 59 for fire blast, 16 damage max) or against warriors with armor that easily counters against ranged and the ranged to deal damage (fire blast is very costly).Let’s Get Started Then!

Start off by killing chickens in the chicken coops north of lumbridge with the runes and bronze arrows you already have. Pick up the arrows you drop because you don’t have many and pick up the bones as well. Do NOT bury the bones you picked up! With your remaining runes (hopefully you’re at level 3 magic or higher) cast confuse on the chickens or ducks.

Go back to lumbridge and ask for arrows and a training bow from the ranged tutor. Go kill some more chickens, and do the same to the bones as last time.

Now head towards Varrock and sell everything except your extra runes and shortbow, don’t forget to sell the bones which are worth around 80gp each at the time this guide was written. Use your remaining money to buy food on the Grand Exchange (preferably wine, trout, or salmon).
