Hunter Money making guide

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

Level 1  Track Polar kebbits at the polar hunting area. Their furs sell for about 4,228 coins each. Using the fairy ring system can greatly reduce banking time, as there is a nearby fairy ring in the area and a bank in Zanaris. Another solution for banking is at Keldagrim bank or using the mining carts to the Grand Exchange, as banking with fairy ring requires an extra inventory space for dramen/lunar staff unless Fairy Tale III is completed.

Level 15  Catch Ruby Harvest butterflies, priced at around 1,078 coins each. Banking at Zanaris is recommended. Butterfly jars cost one (1) coins each at a hunting shop (Butterfly jars can also be bought from the grand exchange for 200 coins). If you have started Fairytale II - Cure a Queen, you may stop by the Yanille Bank, withdraw a Dramen/Lunar staff, butterfly net and 27 coins, then head to the Hunter store to buy 27 butterfly jars. Use the fairy ring to the northwest to go to Pistacoris Hunting area, get 27 catches, then return to Yanille bank via Fairy ring, deposit the 27 Ruby Harvest jars, withdraw another 27 coins and repeat.

Level 17  Catch Baby Implings at the Impetuous Impulses activity in Puro-Puro or throughout RuneScape. These are very common and are valued at approximately 492 coins. Be sure to bring your butterfly net and, if it is not your first time, a couple of impling jars which sell for 218 at the Grand Exchange. Catch them in the south east corner of Puro-Puro and bank them in a nearby bank. Always save nine (9) baby impling jars so you can trade them for an inventory full of jars with Elnock Inquisitor. And to even make the profit better, you should trade all Baby Implings for 3 jars and then sell those at the Grand Exchange for 218 per 1.

Level 29  Net trap Swamp Lizards in the Canifis hunting area. Players can bank them at the Canifis bank. They sell for around 1,814 coins each. You also need to finish Priest in Peril to get to the swamp and Canifis. Doing In Search of Myreque would make catching the lizards a whole lot easier by using the trapdoor behind the bar. While hunting swamp lizard, a player may gain over 45k experience per hour, and about 150k GP per hour. To make the profit even larger, a player should bring a beast of burden to catch more swamp lizards in one run, so the player doesn´t have to bank that much. If a player were to catch, and bank, swamp lizards from level 29 hunter all the way up to level 99 hunter, the player would make 155412636 coins in profit, & it would take exactly 85,674 swamp lizards.

Level 41  Pitfall Graahk. The good Graahk furs are more in demand than good Kyatt furs. They sell for 5,536 coins. The down side is that the Tatty furs sell for only around 50-70 coins each. You will find it much easier to have duelling rings and a spirit graahk to speed up the process of banking and returning. Using a Tai bwo wannai teleport is useful though expensive at 5,296 coins. It is possible to make around 350k an hour using this method.  Shilo Village quest complete is recommended though not required.

Level 53  Box trap chinchompas at the woodland hunting area. They sell for around 1,063 coins each, and are also stackable, so players do not need to bank until done. If done effectively this gives about 170 chinchompas in an hour, yielding approximately 181,000 coins per hour.
with lunar banking  Level 55  Players can trap Sabre-toothed kyatts at the Trollweiss Hunter area. Their fur sells for about 10,300 coins each. Keep in mind, tatty fur’s are only worth 30 coins so it is not worth it to keep them. If you have done Dream Mentor you can teleport to Moonclan Island and bank with ‘Bird’s-Eye’ Jack then have any other Moonclan npc kick you off the island. A faster transportation method could be to use a duelling ring and/or an Arctic Bear familiar.  Dream Mentor, so you can bank without being kicked off the island

Level 57  Use falconry for hunting Dark kebbits. It takes about 5 minutes to get full inventory or dark kebbit furs. One fur costs you 17.86 coins (price of purchasing a falcon). Area can be quickly accessed through Fairy rings (A K Q) and the obtained furs can be banked in Zanaris. Later you can either sell the furs itself for 194 coins each, but about two times more profitable option is to visit Fancy-dress shop owner in Varrock who will turn 2 of your furs and 600 coins into Gloves of silence, which currently sells about 1212 on GE. 13 gloves can be produced per trip, which costs 8400 coins, while the gloves should yield you about 30K profit (depends on current price). There is not constant demand for Gloves of silence on GE, but you should be able to sell them in reasonable time horizon, as they are popular in Thieving.  500 coins for borrowing a falcon per one inventory + 600 coins for each Gloves of silence you are about to make
Access to fairy rings for fast travel (not required)

Level 63  Box trap red chinchompas, also called Carnivorous chinchompas, at the Feldip Hunter area. They sell for about 1,906 gold each. It will be slow, but the rate will be faster when level 80 is reached. They are also stackable, meaning a player does not have to bank every now and then. This is considered to be a great way to earn money, and isn’t interrupted by needs to empty a load of items into the bank, making it one of the easiest money-making techniques available, provided you have the correct level. You will get considerably more catches per hour as your level rises, at level 99, it is possible to make up to 300k per hour!

Level 83  Catch Dragon implings, at the Impetuous Impulses activity or throughout RuneScape. They are exceedingly rare, even in Puro-Puro, but are also extremely valuable, with each impling being worth about 386,700 coins each, sell them at +5% to +20% as they sell at that range and so the price will increase raising max profit per hour, but if you can’t sell them at that price range, market price is also good. 406,000 coins. You can catch, around 1-4 Dragon Implings on a good hour, which makes around a maximum of around 1.62 million coins per hour! But most likely you will only catch 1-2 an hour, so it is advised that you also catch magpie and ninja implings while hunting for dragon implings.

Level 91  Catch Kingly implings at the Impetuous Impulses activity in Puro-Puro or throughout RuneScape. These are rare and are valued at just over 466000 coins each. Be sure to bring your butterfly net and, if it is not your first time, a couple of impling jars which sell for 218 at the Grand Exchange. Catch them in the south east corner of Puro-Puro and bank them in a nearby bank. Always save nine (9) impling jars so you can trade them for an inventory full of jars, or stock up on implings required to exchange for a Jar generator with Elnock Inquisitor.
This money making method was one of the fastest money making methods in all of Runescape, producing even more than double nature rune crafting. Other high levelled Implings can be caught while hunting for Kingly Implings, meaning if a player didn’t catch any Kingly Implings they could still easily make over 600k an hour. However, in an unnanounced update Jagex may have significantly increased the rarity of Kingly Implings, since before they were even more common than Dragon Implings. It is now unsure of the effectiveness of this method.

It may also be added that looting Kingly Imp jars you have a chance to receive an Uncut Onyx, which is currently priced at 8500000.

However looting an impling jar can produce other items that may result in loss, so caution is advised when looting Kingly Imps.

The God Wars Dungeon – Introduction (Members)

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

The God Wars Dungeon is without question the most dangerous place in RuneScape. Within the dungeon itself you will find a multicombat area filled with creatures that have spent the whole of their natural lives fighting. If you have never been to the God Wars Dungeon before, take only items you are willing to lose. This is not a warning that should be taken lightly…

You must have started Troll Stronghold to gain access to the God Wars Dungeon.

Introduction

Fighting inside God Wars

More than two thousand years ago, the lands of RuneScape were torn and scorched during the greatest war ever waged: the god wars. During this time, the gods sent their mightiest minions to walk among their followers, gathering them to battle and, inevitably, to their deaths. In modern-day RuneScape, the Wilderness is the scar that this war left.

In recent times, though, the sheer number of adventurers wandering the land have had a remarkable environmental effect – something akin to global warming from the massive numbers of logs burnt* has thawed a place best forgotten. Now, freed from their icy stasis, the warriors that went to fight in one of the last great battles of the god wars have returned to life, without the slightest inkling that their war ended so long ago.

* Of course, some volcanic activity was also involved, but that’s not nearly as exciting.

Location

Location of God Wars

The God Wars Dungeon lies deep beneath the ice, north of Trollheim, on the edge of the cliffs that separate the trolls from the Wilderness. There, little more than ruins now, is a temple whose dedication is long since lost, and, within the bounds of that decayed structure, the boldest and strongest of heroes might find a crack into the world below.

The path to this temple is not easy, though, as the only path into the temple’s valley is blocked by massive stones. To move the boulders from the path you must have a Strength level of 60. Alternatively, a small niche in a rockslide can be carefully navigated if you have an Agility level of 60.

You may leave the area by the same path, or by descending the cliffs that lead down to the Wilderness in the east.

Note that this is a particularly cold region in RuneScape, where the chill saps your strength and numbs your mind. The longer you stay in the temple grounds, the lower all of your statistics will fall. The cold effect is not present in the God Wars Dungeon itself.

Points of Interest

Interesting areas of God Wars

The most striking feature of the God Wars Dungeon is the battle itself. As you attempt to move about the main area safely, you will see dozens of warriors still acting out the roles they were given all those centuries ago. In general, Armadyl, Bandos and Saradomin had their legions there to fight Zamorak’s forces, but the god wars were named appropriately, for the gods’ mistrust inevitably led to fighting between these supposed ‘allies’.

The main central area of the God Wars Dungeon is where most of the fighting happens, while each of the deities involved has an established stronghold around the edge. If you wish to help your chosen god to defeat his enemies, you might like to try penetrating those bases and slaying your foes’ generals.

You’ll notice a counter in the top right of your screen detailing how many followers of each god you have killed. In order to gain access to the generals’ chambers, you must have killed at least forty of their followers (although Nex will allow you to fight her without this total, as long as you are wearing full ancient ceremonial clothing).

Click a deity below to find out more about the strongholds.

Armadyl
Bandos
Saradomin
Zamorak

There’s an even deeper secret hidden beneath this level of the God Wars Dungeon, a foe so powerful and threatening to all the other armies that all four of them banded together to imprison it in what is now referred to only as the Ancient Prison. To access the Ancient Prison, you will first need to reform the frozen key; this key was split into four parts, with one part being held by each of the four factions in the God Wars Dungeon. To gain these key parts, you’ll need to defeat the warriors in each of the four faction strongholds (not in the boss room) until they drop their part.

When you’ve retrieved all four parts, reform the key and use it on the frozen door to the south of the God Wars Dungeon’s main area, then use a rope to climb down the hole to the level below (the corpse behind the frozen door won’t mind you borrowing his rope). To find out what’s down there, head over to the Ancient Prison page.

Personalities

The Dying Knight
When the Temple Knights discovered rumours of the ruined temple, they immediately feared the return of some ancient evil and sent a contingent of their finest warriors to investigate. The knight that lies dying amid the crumbling masonry is all that remains of that doomed expedition…
Quests

There are no quests to start in the God Wars Dungeon, only a constant struggle for survival!

Soldiers in the Battle

Imp (Level 7)
During the god wars, even the lowliest of soldiers had their powers boosted by their god, and imps are no exception. These tiny manifestations of evil were normally used to swarm over their enemies or as expert thieves, but now they are so few that they are easily the weakest of the foes you might encounter.

Goblin (Level 12-17)
Goblins were one of the most numerous races during the god wars and made up the bulk of a number of armies. They are fairly harmless by the dungeon’s standards, although you’ll be too busy fighting off everything else to notice.
Icefiend (Level 17)
The icefiends may once have been waterfiends, but their long imprisonment in the cold turned them to ice. They are now like shards of evil water raised to fight by Zamorak’s sorceries.

Hobgoblin (Level 47)
Hobgoblins are like a cross between a goblin and an ork, but they lack a goblin’s tenacity and an ork’s brute strength. They make up for this by being almost as numerous as the goblins but far stronger.
Pyrefiend (Level 48)
Pyrefiends are creatures of pure flame and hate, and though small they are remarkably dangerous. You will need a Slayer level of 30 to kill a pyrefiend.

Ogre (Level 58)
Ogres are one of Bandos’s favourite creations, being utterly devoted to him and dull-witted enough to follow any order. The ogres in the God Wars Dungeon are massive brutes with little concept of safety.
Jogre (Level 58)
Even during the god wars there were jungles to breed jogres in, and Bandos took advantage of their natural aggression to supplement his armies. The jogres are dangerous foes and are, if anything, more belligerent than orks.

Aviansie (Level 69-148)
The aviantese were Armadyl’s most precious children, and it is told that when they were destroyed he wept and abandoned RuneScape. Of course, not all of them were slain – some were merely frozen – and they continue to fight in his name. You can only attack an aviansie with Ranged or Magic attacks.
Vampire (Level 77)
The vampyres have been allies of Zamorak from the beginning of the god wars, and even the primitive versions present in the God Wars Dungeon are potent fighters with a remarkable bloodlust. Be glad that there are no members of the Vyrewatch down there!

Bloodveld (Level 81)
Bloodvelds are bloated creatures with a long, flexible tongue with which they drain their prey of blood. They are tough creatures, and you will need a Slayer level of 50 to kill them.
Werewolf (Level 93)
In their true forms, werewolves are incredibly powerful creatures possessed of a single-minded determination to kill. In the dungeon this lust is sated endlessly.

Ork (Level 107)
The most reliable warriors in Bandos’s forces are the orks. They are massive beasts with a bloody-minded loyalty to their god of war: the ideal soldier in a battle that might never end.
Saradomin Priest (Level 113)
During the time of the god wars, priests could not afford to be peaceful and weak, unlike their softer descendents in Lumbridge and Varrock. These devout men went to battle with the certainty that Saradomin would grant them the strength to prevail.

Spiritual Mage (Level 120 – 122)
Even after death, the greatest soldiers in the gods’ armies continue to serve. Spiritual mages are potent sorcerers and are rarely alone.
Spiritual Ranger (Level 122)
The gods’ forces are largely composed of spiritual fighters – those who have given their lives in the struggle, and continue to do so these thousands of years later. The rangers in these armies are excellent marksmen and should not be underestimated.

Spiritual Warrior (Level 125)
The spiritual warriors are the strongest of the many spirits that fight beneath the ice. Their blades are tempered with the belief they attribute to their cause.
Hellhound (Level 127)
These vicious beasts stalk their prey across the world without pausing for rest. They are the ultimate hunter, and Zamorak’s armies are often preceded by the baying of these demonic hounds.

Ice Wolf (Level 132)
The icy paths of the mountains above the God Wars Dungeon are owned by the ice wolves – even the ice trolls tend to avoid them. They are vicious beasts driven by hunger.
Ice wolves can be found around the temple ruins above the God Wars Dungeon.
Gorak (Level 149)
Goraks come from a plane entirely separate from that of RuneScape, but the boundary between the two worlds is weak at the best of times. During the god wars, many of them made their way into RuneScape to serve under any god that would show them battle. They are especially dangerous, as no prayers will stop their attacks, and they will drain your skill levels with astonishing speed.
Miscellaneous

  • There is a catch to entering each of the gods’ areas. To enter Saradomin’s Encampment you will need two lengths of rope and level 70 Agility. To enter Bandos’s Stronghold you will need a hammer and level 70 Strength. To enter Armadyl’s Eyrie you will need a crossbow and a mithril grapple, as well as level 70 Ranged.
  • When you enter Zamorak’s Fortress you will discover that your Prayer is immediately drained and that no light source can penetrate the unnatural shadows. You must also have at least 700 life points remaining to cross the river.
  • A quick way to the God Wars Dungeon is to use the Trollheim Teleport spell, though you must have completed Eadgar’s Ruse to use this spell.
  • Having completed Love Story, it is possible to retrieve a book from a dwarf in Keldagrim to give to the Wise Old Man. He will then teach you how to modify your Teleport to House tablets to take you to Trollheim. From here, it is a shortish walk to the God Wars Dungeon.

Ultimate Tips to Success in Bounty Hunter

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

Hi everyone, I know you are wondering what this guide is about. It’s about Pking in bounty Hunter. I know we are all mad at Jagex for taking away PK and turn Runescape into ruinedscape.I’m one of the ones that are extremely ticked off because of this. PK is what I live for; I made tons of cash by Pking. It’s like a source to getting extremely rich. And JAGEX took it away .but they left us the second best thing bounty hunter. Well I’m going to teach you how to use these disadvantages to turn them into your advantage.

Rules of Bounty Hunter

  • Every time you kill a random person that is not your target, you have a 180 second penalty. You may not leave the arena or use protect item prayer. Every time you pick up an item while in penalty your time limit resets.
  • If you kill your target you will not get a penalty. Then the rules above will not apply.

Recent Updates

Jagex has improved the mini game so it is fair to the lower level players.

Here are the updates:

  • Players can now use locate bounty at a magic level of 25.
  • Players can not pile another player unless he/she is your target.

Well, enough about the rules and updates lets get to the main reason why I wrote this.

What Armor to Wear and What Items to Bring

Note: I did not make up the set names, The Pk champion of Runescape did. I simply used these names. So do not tell me these names are stupid. well honestly I think some are too.

Fighters

If you are a fighter you should wear the set True pk pure.

Requirements:

  • level 40 attack
  • level 40 ranged
  • high level of strength
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • any melee cape
  • leather boots
  • leather gloves
  • amulet of strength
  • Iron or steel armor set(kite shield, full helm, Platebody and legs)

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

Rangers

If you are a ranger you should wear the set Ranging skillage.

Requirements:

  • At least 40 range
  • At least 40 defense
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Maple longbow
  • 200 steel arrows
  • Green dragon hide set (Body, chaps and vambraces)
  • Amulet of power
  • Rune full helm
  • green cape

Why Steel Arrows?

Well steel arrows are easy to get. You can get them by killing the zombies in the stronghold of security. And they are fairly strong. But of course you can use mithril or adamant arrows.

Items in your inventory:

  • Runes needed for bounty locate
  • 25 lobsters

Mage

If you are a mage you should wear the set Magician of death.

Requirements:

  • Able to use fire bolt
  • Can run very fast
  • Fair level of defense
  • Range level of 40

The set contains:

  • Fire staff
  • Amulet of magic
  • wizard hat
  • wizard robe
  • leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • blue cape
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • Wooden or Anti-dragon Shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 200 chaos runes
  • 600 air runes
  • runes that are required for bind
  • 23 lobsters

Why do I need runes required for bind?

Well, because the mage has the least defense out of the three combat types.

So if you meet a fighter or a ranger that is not on your tail. You can bind them and run for your life!!!

Fighter Monk

If you are a fighter and you have high level of prayer then you should wear the set Prayer beast.

Requirements:

  • At least level 43 prayer
  • level 40 attack
  • fair level of strength

The Set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • Blessed holy symbol
  • Full Monk set(body and skirt)
  • Rune full helm
  • Leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • orange cape
  • Anti-dragon shield or any other type of kite shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 Strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

PK Master

Requirements:

  • At least level 40 attack
  • High level of strength
  • At least 40 defense
  • At least 43 prayer

The set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • Full rune set(Platebody, legs or skirt, Kite shield and Full helm)
  • Green dragon hide vambraces
  • Fighter or colorful boots
  • wilderness cape
  • Amulet of power

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 swordfish

Is This Just Full Rune?

That’s right it is full rune. You may think full rune is nothing, but that’s where you are wrong. If you where full rune and have a decent defense and prayer on, you will be virtually invincible. Why you say? Because In a free to play world people bring rune scimitars and they can barely even scratch rune when you have prayer on. Even if they have a high level of attack.

Runescape Hunter

Posted by: cool  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

Friendly Greetings! If you’re looking for a bit of fun, the Runescape Hunter skill is just for you! I started hunting when the skill first came out. It was quite exiting. The thrill of another kill they say, Haha. To me, Hunting was for fun, and my level really didn’t matter. However, as time went on it did indeed get higher and higher. After staying out in the wilds for many weeks, I eventually moved on. But this skill is by far my favorite.

Let’s talk about how to get started. I wandered around for a good hour or so in the beginning trying to figure out what to do. The first thing I hunted was Polar Kebbits. They are north of the entrance to Keldagrim. At level 23, you can hunt Wild Kebbits. As I said, I spent many weeks out in the wilds, there were quite a few different things you could hunt there, and usually I would have some Deadfalls and Bird Snares up. Other times I would box trap ferrets and then use them to catch rabbits. When you start, you will have to track. It’s not my favorite type of hunting, but still fun. You can put bait on your traps if you want, Usually I put the raw birds I got from the bird snares on the Deadfall traps.

If you have completed the Eagles’ Peak Quest, you can hunt Ferrets. You can use the Ferrets you get to flush out the rabbits into the snares. Catching rabbits is tricky, because you never know what hole they are going to pop out of. Eventually you will master catching the rabbits and be off on something else.

One of my favorite parts of Hunting is the outfits you can make with them. You can truly live out in the woods and never have to go to the city. (Except to make the clothes of course.) All you need is an axe, maybe a couple traps, and a Tinderbox. Other than that, everything you would need is out in the wilds. Food you can get from the animals, their furs for clothes, and chop your own wood! In my opinion, the best outfits are the Larupia and Kyatt. Not even dragon armor is as cool as that, Haha.

If your level 71 hunting and you are looking for something useful, Imps are the way to go! As long as you are not past the level 30 wilderness line, Imps can take two objects (or two stacks of objects) from your inventory to your bank! This could come in very handy.

Falconary is a load of fun. Out in the wilds you can pay Matthias 500 gold to rent a falcon. You can use these falcons to fly out and get a Spotted Kebbit, a Dark Kebbit, or a Dashing Kebbit. These can be turned into capes or gloves.

To hunt using pitfalls, you will need some logs, a Knife and a Teasing Stick. First, find an empty pit. Use the logs on it, and you will set the trap up. Now take the teasing stick and tease the Larupias, Horned Graahks, or Saber-toothed Kyatts. They will begin to chase you. Jump over the pit and hope that they fall in. Sometimes These animals will catch you before you can make it over, so you may want to bring some food, especially you lower levels.

Now that you know a little about Hunting, get out there and try it, and remember Hunting is a great skill. If you make it too serious, it will loose its purpose. So instead of worrying about experience and such, just Have fun with it!

Tips

Buy a games necklace (enchanted sapphire necklace) for less than 1k in the ge to teleport you to bounty hunter.
Range, 2H, and Strength Pures are the best for BH.

Warnings

If you die in Bounty Hunter, you will lose ALL of the items you are carrying (unless you use the protect item prayer which will save one of your most expensive item ), so once again: Bring Items that you dont mind losing unless you are a serious bounty hunter!
On the way to Bounty Hunter, there might be a revenant that may attack you. These ghosts are much better fighters than their combat level suggests and can easily hit in the 20’s. They can Freeze, Teleblock and attack you in groups. It is suggested that you bring food on the way.

Bounty Hunter Guides on RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

This guide will explain how to train and own in Bounty Hunter. If you didn’t know already, Bounty Hunter is a RuneScape minigame. Only selected few worlds cater to Bounty Hunter. This minigame is for non members also and is a player vs player game only. If you just want the actual Bounty Hunter guide and not the training scroll down until you reach the heading ‘Bounty Hunter. But you can’t own if you are a noob, can you?

Steps

1 Create an account. Choose a catchy, unique username like ‘D34d Hybr1d’ or D34d R4nq3rz’. Once chosen, complete Tutorial Island.
2 Head to Barbarian Village and complete Stronghold of Security and Player Safety. You should have acquired 20k and two lamps. Rub both lamps and choose to level up ranged on both of them. You should have level 10 ranged now.

Ranged Training
Start training ranged. Food isn’t really necessary here as you will be fighting in safe spots a lot, but it wouldn’t hurt to take several foods for the those trips back to the bank, when you have to leave your safe spot.
Take out from your bank, your Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow, Willow Shortbow, Maple Shortbow and Bronze Arrows. Equipt the Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow and Bronze Arrows.
Go to the Chicken Coop and train on Chickens until level 20 ranged. Always pick up most of your arrows. Arrows are quite expensive if you are a low level player. If you wish, you may want to collect the chicken drops, such as the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the raw chicken for leveling up your cooking level or the bones if you wish to get up your prayer level.
Once at level 20 ranged, equip your Willow Shortbow and train on cows. Remember again, to pick up your arrows. You may wish to pick up the cow hides to sell for 100gp+ each, the bones for prayer,or the raw meat for cooking.
Once level 30, you are ready to move on from the Cows. Head to the Dwarven Mine and find the scorpions. There should be a few rocks (near some stairs) which you can use as a safe spot. Picking up arrows is optional here as you may get attacked by scorpians if you leave the safe spot. Scorpions do not drop anything.
At level 40 Ranged, there are three monsters you can train on, Hill Giants, white knights, or you can continue to kill scorpions. Hill Giants are located in Edgeville sewers or you can access the direct Hill Giants lair (Near Varrock) with a brass key. These monsters are level 28. There should be a safe spot at the end of the lair. Again, you may or may not wish to pick up your arrows. Hill Giants give you best drops out of all the monsters you have trained on. Big Bones can be sold for 400-500gp each and if your lucky they may occasionally drop Limpwurts used for herblore or sold for 600-700gp each.
When you reach 60 Ranged, you may wish to stop or have a break from leveling up your ranged. If you you wish to continue to 60+ Ranged it’s suggested to go to Karajama and train on Lesser Demons. These babies are level 82 and hit 8’s, but don’t worry there is a couple of safe spots. Lesser’s drop runes, money (up to 600gp),very rarely rune medium helmets, and other worthwhile items. Here you should pick up your arrows and drops as the lessers are very slow at reacting.

Attack and Strength Training

Take plenty of food with you when training, just in case some monsters are too powerful for your 1 defense. Remember that you will be fighting in close combat, unlike ranged, so you will always be under attack.
Sell your drops. If you haven’t already sold or used any of your drops from training on ranged it’s suggested you do. Once you have done that, go to a bank and take out the following: Iron Scimitar, Steel Scimitar, Black Longsword (scimitar costs 4k and sells slowly), Mithril Scimitar and Rune Scimitar. You can put back all your ranged gear as you will not need it for this part.
Head to the Chicken Coop in Lumbridge and train your attack and strength to level 10. Again, you mayt wish to pick up the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the bones for prayer or the raw chickens for cooking.
Once you have reached 10 Attack and Strength, head north of Falador and enter the monastery. There should be level 5 monks, with 15 HP! These guys are equivalent to the well known, members Rock Crabs or Experiments. If you have 24 prayer occasionally you may find a Monk drops a Monk Robe, pick it up, its worth 200-300gp each. They drop bones if you want prayer levels.
If you have reached level 20 attack and strength, congratulations! Head back to cows and go train on cows. Cows drop bones for prayer, raw meat for cooking, and cowhides, which sell for 100gp and over. Cows are a great money maker and monster as they have a hitpoints ratio of 4!
Finally, you may have reached 40 attack and strength, you can finally equip the ultimate weapon, the Rune Scimitar. Now, this is where the strength kicks in by itself. Head to the Stronghold of Security and start fighting the flesh crawlers or zombies, which are located in Level 2 of the dungeon. These guys don’t drop anything, so once you kill one, attack another one! Train on these for a while until you reach level 60 strength. Remember to never, ever get your attack higher the 40!
At 60+ strength you may have some difficulty trying to find a good training monster as you want fast xp but you don’t want to fight a high level monster; as you have 1 defense. Well… the solution is; Red Spiders. These can be found in Varrock Sewers or Stronghold of Security on level 3. The good thing about these creepy crawly’s is that they always stay in a close knit group, so you will always find a kill. Food is important here as they hit a couple of 3’s every few kills. Spiders usually have a few egg respawns. Red Spider Eggs sell for 450gp.
Congratulations, if you have mastered 40 attack and at least 60 strength you have completed this part of training. Melee attack will be your most effective form of attack in Bounty Hunter, as most of your opponents will be Rangers.

Magic Training

The only reason to get your magic up is to use bind (20) and Bounty Locate (32). Magic isn’t effective in Bounty Hunter as most of your enemies will use ranged attacks.
Go to a bank and sell or use all your drops you got from training attack and strength. Deposit all your equipment except your Amulet of Power. Withdraw your Staff of Air, Mind Runes and Chaos Runes.
Go to the Cow Farm in Lumbridge and stand outside the fence. As magic attacks can be casted from a fair distance away, standing outside walls stop you from getting hit. Put your auto cast on to wind strike; attack the cows.
You are one or two more steps away from completing your beginner training to own in Bounty Hunter. Now, you will be using your chaos runes. Put auto cast on to wind bolt. Attack the cows until level 32 magic. Now you can use all the strike attacks, most bolt attack, low alchemy, Varrock Teleport, Lumbridge Teleport and the one and only… Bounty Locate!
You have finished your Magic training. Don’t worry about getting your magic level up anymore as magic isn’t effective against rangers, unless it is bind (5 second freeze).

Bounty Hunter
Hopefully you have successfully completed your training without dieing, and getting up your stats to: 40 attack, 60+ strength, 60+ Ranged, 32 Magic and you are under level 55 combat!
Bounty Hunter is a replacement for pking in the wilderness. Although this minigame is greatly disliked by a minority (pures), it is still very popular and competitive. What you are aiming for is to own in the low level crater. If you exceed level 55 combat your pure is ruined for life if your main objective is to player kill.
Put your run and have your maple shortbow and 100 adamant arrows equipped. Step inside the low level Bounty Hunter crater.
Immediately upon entering you will be invincible for 6 seconds. In that 6 seconds use Bounty Locate spell and start ranging your opponent.
When your opponent gets to 1/3 of his/her health wield your Rune Scimitar and continue to attack your target. When she/he reaches 1/4 of there health pull out your Rune 2h Sword and kill them!
If they do not die. Start Ranging them until they get to 1/4 of their HP,
KO them and hopefully it should kill them. If you attempt to KO them more then two times repeat the range then 2h method.
Once you kill them, immediately eat again, to full health. Pick up the most valuable items first until you have no more inventory space. If you need to eat food to pick up something, access the risk: ‘Is it worth more then the swordfish?’ and ‘Can I sell it quickly or wear it?’ if you think yes to one of the following, pick it up.
If you have a team member, friend or another person ask to have something, do not reply and run out of the crater. If you did not kill your target then you will have a 180 sec penalty, which means you can’t leave the arena for 3 minutes. In that time people may attack you, so let them chase you around. When you lose them or cover a fair distance apart teleport to your target and repeat it need be. That’s why you need 5 Bounty Locate teleports.
