Runescape Auto Talker

Runescape Auto Talker

If you have seen someone stand and repeat the same words over and over exactly as the first, most likely they are using a Runescape Auto Talker. The Runescape Auto Talker is a macro, also known as a bot, which takes control of your account and makes it do things, in this case type messages. Another example of a bot would be the Runescape auto miner. It takes control of your Runescape account and continuously clicks on the ore rock that you specify. Any sort of macro is illegal in Runescape, Jagex has built their own secret bots to “crawl” Runescape and look for suspicious activity. If the evidence is too great, they will act on it.

I do not in anyway support hacks, cheats, macros, bots, what ever you want to call it. I think that it is wrong, evil, and it makes the people who actually work for what they get feel worthless. You may think your not hurting anything by cheating, but what if everyone cheated and got all their skills level 99 and they maxed out their level? They would then sell the things that they acquired cheating, which would make the Runescape economy drop terribly. Then everything would become practically worthless, and people would own quite a few pairs of dragon armor, and it would not matter because there would be no challenges, then the Runescape population would die, so Jagex wouldn’t get any income, and Runescape - http://www.runescapemoney.ws/runescape/wp-login.php would be forced to shut down. So think about that.

So now, let’s look at what the Runescape Auto Talker does exactly. The Runescape Auto Talker is a program that will type the same message at a rate such as three seconds. So if we were to give it the words “Hey! Check out this article your reading about the Runescape Auto Talker!” and set it for every 10 seconds, anyone in chat range would get that message every 10 seconds. People often use this for advertising their items in the Grand Exchange, or to advertise a website.

Some auto talkers have built in special effects such as glow, scroll, wave, and flash. According to how it has been scripted, they can do anything that you could sitting there typing it yourself. However, if you were to have it at three seconds with the special effects, no doubt your threat level greatly increases - A perfect sentence with the same effects. Very suspicious, don’t you think?

If you are seriously still interested in a Runescape Auto Talker, then a simple Google search will find a one. Beware, however, because many of these so-called Runescape Auto Talkers are really just keyloggers. A keylogger is a form of virus that tracks any keys that the person types. This way they can get not only your Runescape account, but also other personal information like your credit card information. They might also contain other viruses. People have designed some viruses to go into the computer’s logged files and steal any information. Its almost like a more advanced keylogger, but instead of logging keys that are being typed, it goes in and steals keys that have already been typed.

If you are still going to get a Runescape Auto Talker, I suppose I cannot stop you, but I really do not see a point in it. The same time you spend sitting there with the Runescape Auto Talker on; you could be sitting and typing it. No hack, cheat, glitch, bot, macro, or any other cheating device is worth it. You turn one on to test it, you come back, and your account has been banned. The consequences are always worse than the gains.

Rune Pickaxe

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Lores and Histories, Runescape Banks Guide, Runescape Economy, Runescape Guide, runescape accounts

Rune Pickaxe

The Rune Pickaxe is the most popular pickaxe. Its the best in the whole game. Its about 19,533 gold. (prices go up and down, don’t quote me on it, haha.) You have to have 41 mining to use the rune pickaxe, but you need 40 attack to wield it. If you want to get it by killing monsters, You will need to kill; Rock Golems (random event.), Warped Tortoise, General Graardor, Sergeant Steelwill, Sergeant Grimspike, and Sergeant Strongstack. If you damage it, you can go to Bob in Lumbridge to get it fixed for 1100 coins, you can also go to Nurmof in the Dwarven Mines for the same price.

There is such a thing as the Golden Rune Pickaxe. This can only be gotten through the Level 4.5 Treasure Trails. The only difference is there is a better chance of getting a gem. Well, that and looking really cool, Haha. Its worth about 1,300,300 coins. Do not ever alch this pickaxe. You will only get 19,200 gold coins at most.

You can get a Rune Pickaxe from three place (not counting players) and these are - Between a Rock… quest, the Pickaxe shop in the Dwarven Mines, and of course the Dwarven City Keldagrim. If you were to happen upon one in the General Store, you could grab it up for about 19,000 coins. To sell one to the General Store, it would be around 12,000 coins. The maximum price is about 20,000 coins in the Grand Exchange.

If you are doing the TokTz-Ket-Dill quest, you will need a rune pickaxe to crush the outer layer of armor that TokTz-Ket-Dill (level 100) has. Once its gone, you could continue using the rune pickaxe, or use a crushing weapon. You will also need a Rune Pickaxe to mine the obsidian spots on the wall.

You can also make a Rune Pickaxe by first mining Rune Ore in the Wilderness, Then smelting it into Rune Bars. You will need at least two Rune Bars. To make a Rune Pickaxe you will need level 90 Smithing. You will also need to have completed the Perils of Ice Mountain quest. The Rune Rocks are a light blue color. They are very hard to miss if your looking.

Now that you know all there is to know about the Rune Pickaxe, Why not go out there and put one to use? Ah, but maybe you do not know how to? Well then, let me give you a quick mining lesson!

Lets talk Coal. You can sell these for about 200 coins each. Therefore, 100 of them are 20,000 coins.
If you were to mine just 500 of them, you would have 100,000 coins. This would pay for your Rune Pickaxe five times over! That comes out to about 20 trips with an inventory of 25. Better, get to work! Haha.

Now, if your a big hot shot miner, you know you can get about the same for Mithril Ore. However, Adamant ore is about 1,300 coins each. Rune of course is much more expensive, settling in for about 11,000 coins each! Therefore, if you were to mine just 100 ores of rune you would get something like 1,100,000 coins! That’s just for 100 ores of rune! Think about if you hauled in 1000 ores!

Runescape Auto Bots

Runescape Auto Bots

Have you ever noticed a level 3 player chopping yews? Most likely, they are using Runescape Auto Bots. These macros will take control of your computer and play the game for you, thus allowing you to gain levels, items, money, and so on without even having to be at the computer. These bots are illegal, and you can be banned from Runescape if you are caught with them. Jagex has made special bots of their own to hunt down people who are using these programs.

On January 19 2006, Jagex banned 15,000 accounts because of cheating. On this day, they posted on their front page that they can easily detect you when you cheat and that it is only a matter of time until you are banned. This is very true, and yet, there are still a lot of people who use these programs with the risk of loosing their account. You can loose your account in more than one way. Besides being banned, you can also loose it to the creators of these “programs”. They will claim that their viruses as the bots and really, as soon as you use them and log into your Runescape account, they will have your username and password. These viruses are called Key Loggers and they will log anything you type and send it back to the creator. Jagex still bans thousands of accounts a month because of this problem.

I find it really sad that so many people are getting their accounts banned for cheating, when they can do the same thing without cheating. Sure, it’s going to take up your time, but it is a game. If you’re not going to play it right, why play it at all? When you cheat at Runescape, you get an instant 99% chance of loosing your account. Whether to a ban or to a virus, taking a risk with 1% chance of getting away with it is complete insanity. It’s much easier to just go spend a week fishing. You will slowly work your way up to sharks, and once you get to sharks, you will have your millions without cheating.

If you do get a Key Logger on your computer, you are in deep trouble. It can get other things besides just your Runescape account. It can get anything that you type. This includes your Credit Card information. Can you imagine trying to use a credit card that is magically maxed out just because you tried to cheat at Runescape? Runescape auto bots you would not be too happy.

Now I will ask you, is it really worth it? I think not. Yet, people are still using them. One reason is to make quick high-level accounts to illegally sell. Then the person who buys the account will have an account that is to be banned soon, and the person who cheated got some money off of it. Jagex is becoming more and more involved and has been hunting down the creators of these cheats and suing them. This is a great way to stop the problem. Now, you can do your part as well. If you find a cheating website, send a support ticket to them with the address. Then they will go investigate. You can also do your part in the game. If you think someone is cheating, report him or her. Let us all help make the game a fair place to play. I know I would much rather like to see a fair game than someone cheating for what they get.

Runescape Monkey Greegree

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Beginners' Guide, Holiday Guides, Runescape Banks, Runescape Community, Runescape Economy, Runescape Gold, runescape, runescape accounts, runescape easy money

Runescape Monkey Greegree

The Runescape Monkey Greegree is a staff that players can make. It is used mainly during the Monkey Madness quest. When you wield one of these magic staffs on Ape Atoll, you will turn into a monkey and thus be safe from the monsters on Ape Atoll. To make one of these magical staffs you need to gather some monkey bones and a Monkey Talisman, and take them to Zooknock. Remember, if you are using the Monkey Greegree for the Monkey Madness quest, your bones need to be from Karamja. Otherwise you can use the bones of the monkeys that live on Ape Atoll.

The Monkey Greegree is used in the third chapter of the Monkey Madness quest. I will go ahead and tell you what to do in this part of the quest.

You will not need food, potions, or teleportation runes for this chapter, but you might want an Ardougne teleport to make it easier on you.

Go to Ape atoll and wield the Monkey Greegree Staff. Go northwest and pass through the gate. Go as far east as you can and talk to Garkor. Then talk to an Elder Gaurd somewhere outside the king’s palace, he will tell you to go to Kruk. Now go as far west as you can go, then south when you reach the shore. Walk up the cliff, up the ladder, along the bridge and down the ladder on the other side. Talk to Kruk, he will take you to King Awowogei. Talk to him; ask for an alliance and he will tell you to rescue a monkey from the Ardougne Zoo. So head on over to Ardougne, to the zoo, wield the Greegree. Speak to the Monkey Minder and he will place you in the cage. Speak to a monkey and take it into your inventory. Now un-equip the Greegree and talk to the Monkey Minder. He will let you out and WALK or RUN to the Grand Tree, do not teleport anywhere, because it will make the monkey leave the inventory. Then of course talk to the King and finish the alliance. Now wield the Greegree, and head on over to Ape Atoll again. Speak to the guard, ask for an alliance with the King, Talk to the king, and ask for an alliance, he will consider it. Exit his chamber.

When you are wielding the Runescape Monkey Greegree, you will loose your spellbook tab. You can be more than one monkey, according to the Monkey Greegree you have. Once you have your quest done, you can kill most of the monkeys and get their bones to make a Monkey Greegree and be able to change into them. There are 7 Monkey Greegrees in all - 2 Zombie Greegrees, 2 Gorilla Greegrees, 2 Ninja greegrees, and one Karamja Monkey Greegree.

The monkey you see above is a Monkey Guard without a beard, and you can make a Gorilla Greegree, which will turn you into it. You have to kill one (level 167) and take its bones along with a Monkey Talisman to Zooknock. You can buy the Monkey Talismans from Tutab the Rune Seller on Ape Atoll or you can get one for free from the Monkey Boy. They are about 1000 coins in the shops.

The Monkey Greegree is also needed in the Recipe for Disaster quest. I will not list this quest. Because it is one of the longest quests in Runescape, and we already have a guide for this quest.

Monkey see Monkey do I suppose, in this case especially, haha. Happy Playing

Runescape Clue Scroll

Runescape Clue Scroll

If you’re bored and wondering around Runescape, why not attack that Guard over there? You never know, it might drop a Runescape Clue Scroll. If you have a Clue Scroll, then its time to start your treasure trail. There are three different levels of Treasure Trails, each with a better reward than the last. To get a higher level Clue Scroll you have to kill a higher-level monster. For a level one clue scroll, you will have to kill a monster between the levels of 2 and 48, for level two you will have to kill ones in the range of 21 to 149 and for level three you will need to kill in the levels of 56-304.

There are a couple other ways to get a Runescape Clue Scroll other than killing monsters. One way is with Shade Chests. A Bronze chest would give you a level one clue scroll, the Steel chest hands out level one and two, the Black Chests give level two, and the Silver Chests toss out level threes. You could also pickpocket H.A.M. members to get a level one clue scroll. If you happen into the Zogre Cavern and get a key from one of the monsters, use the key on one of the coffins and you might get a nice level one clue scroll.

Once you have your Clue Scroll, you’re going to have to do various tasks to get your treasure, such as solving Anagrams, doing hard Math problems, and following maps. I am going to help you solve your Clue Scroll. Lets start with the Math Problems.

» How many people are waiting for the next Bard to perform? 4
» How many buildings are there in the village? 11
» How many houses have a cross on the door? 20
» How many banana trees are there in the plantation? 33

What is 19 to the power of 3? 6859
What is 57×89+23? 5096

Free Runescape Money Making Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Christmas 2008 Event Guide, Making Runescape Money, Runescape Banks Guide, Runescape Economy, Runescape Gold, Runescape Guide, buy runescape money, runescape easy money

Well, as you know there are a lot of Runescape Money Making Guides out there,

and most of them people are charging money for. I am going to tell you now, do not pay for them. They are just going to tell you the same worn out information that you can get from talking to anyone who has been in Runescape for a while. I have played Runescape for many years, and I know what to do to make money. So here it is, my Free Runescape Money Making Guide.

I have found out an interesting idea about how to make money recently. It will take some time to really make a lot of money with it, and you are going to need money already to be able to do it. It is really just an old idea that has been recycled. Taking an idea and making it better is what I call recycling. This is just the basic buy low and sell high idea, and yet they have taken it and made it better. Here is what you do; first, start buying. Save up the item you are going to sell. You might want to be selling something on the side to make the money to pay for the item you’re planning to sell. Let’s say you are going to sell Swordfish. People usually will want to buy it raw, so try buying from some specialty fish stores. Try to buy when there is a lot of them in stock so that the price is low. You might want to do some world changing before you begin buying, so you know you’re getting a good price. Begin to save your Raw Swordfish in your bank. The longer you hold out before selling the more money you will make. The reason this is true is because people like to buy a lot of them at once, so that they do not have to do a bunch of separate trades, and thus, are willing to pay more. It is even better to sell to Members. A lot of them are higher levels who like their items as soon as possible. If you can stock up at a cheap price and sell at a high bulk price, you will be making a lot of money.

Personally, I would just recommend fishing for the Swordfish yourself. It seems like a lot of work to have to make the money, and then buy Swordfish with it, when you could of just fished it for yourself in half the time. They also mentioned to me that you should get a list of people who are going to want ongoing supplies of the item. You can do this without having to buy and sell, just fish and sell, mine and sell, and so on. If you get an order in for 1000 coal, which is faster, mining it or buying it? In addition, what if you do not have the money to buy the 1000 coal? I believe it is much faster to mine it yourself than to buy it. Runescape-blog.com Sure, its not as easy, but it all evens out. So maybe neither are faster than another. One is easy and one is fast, so who finishes first? I suppose that’s for you to decide.

Whether you buy and sell, or you do it yourself, your still going to make money in the end. So try both and see which one is better for you. Eventually you will work your way up to full Rune Gold Trimmed Amour! Happy Playing.

Runescape Auto Cutter

Runescape Auto Cutter

The Runescape Auto Cutter, also known as the Auto WoodCutter, is a program that will automatically cut the wood from a tree in Runescape on your account. If you have ever heard the term “Macro”, this is exactly what the Runescape Auto Cutter is. A Macro is a program that will continuously do something to help make life easier. The problem is Jagex does not allow Runescape Macros. This is against the rules because it is an unfair advantage for other players.

The Rule is Rule 7, No Third Party Software. It was put into effect on February 27, 2008. This rule states that

“You must not use other software to gain an unfair advantage in our games. This includes automation tools, macros, bots, or auto-typers. You may not circumvent any of our mechanisms designed to automatically log out inactive users. You also must not use any game-specific third party software that encourages breaking of our rules, or bypasses the normal navigation of our website, or automatically requests pages from our website, or which endangers user accounts.”

If your account gets banned for breaking Rule 7, you will have an extremely hard time getting it back, and it will be rare if you do at all. Jagex has special bots of his or her own that seek out any sort of Macro. If the program detects a player cheating, (and it does.) It will send a report to Jagex, who will then review it and if the evidence is significant, ban the account. They also do NOT show you the evidence, because this will just teach the cheaters how to avoid getting caught the next time.

Besides the whole cheating thing, they also have this rule because many of these so-called “bots” are really just viruses designed to steal your Runescape account. These viruses are called Key Loggers. As their name states, they will log your keys and then send them back to the creator. The creator will then sort through what you have typed and try every possible combination as your login. Although this is a risk for your account, it can also be a risk for your credit card information. If you buy something online with a key logger in your computer, you will run a very high risk of Identity Theft.

Jagex has also been sueing anyone who makes these sort of programs. Not only because of the cheating, but also because it is copyright infringement. They also have forced Youtube to ban any accounts that make videos showing how to auto.

Macroing was a HUGE problem in 2006. Therefore, Jagex, seeing this major problem, decided to make a stand. Therefore, on January 19, 2006, they did. Jagex banned over 15,000 Runescape Accounts for using these bots. They stated that it is EXTREMELY easy for them to find cheaters, and they WILL ban them. They also have trackers that will find any other account of the cheater, and they will ban those as well. This is to stop them from making throw away accounts that are meaningless to them. Jagex still bans thousands of accounts a month because of this problem.

So the next time you think about downloading one of these Runescape Auto Cutters, or any other macro for that matter, think about the risks. I guarantee that you will find doing it, yourself can be much more rewarding, (and a lot less risky!) Happy and Macro-free Playing!

How to Make Millions on Runescape

How to Make Millions on Runescape

have read tons of articles, talks to hundreds of people, tried many different methods, all with one question. How do you make millions of gold on Runescape? Well, after a long while of digging through useless information, I actually stumbled upon real methods used by the pros! Yes, these methods can be done by ANYONE. There are not instant moneymaking methods, but these are very close. If you try your best, you are bound make millions of Runescape gold in a small amount of time! This I can promise.

Remember, all good things require effort. If I were you, I would pick a method that I enjoyed doing. My two favorite are Woodcutting and Fishing. In Fishing, you have a lot of friendly people that you can have a great time with. Woodcutting is not as friendly, but it is still fun. It is always nice to be around people and share the common goal. Then it’s like you’re in the club! Haha.

Easy cash can be gotten if you have about 50,000 gold already. Head over to Falador and buy all the lobsters at the price of 150 GP. Buy as many as you can, then go to the Varrok West Bank and sell these for max price. (You might also want to try the Grand Exchange - GE. I usually have more success in the GE than I do in the banks.) Although I have never tried this method, as it sounds a tad boring, people swear it works. They also say to buy a lot of silk from the silk trader in Al Kharid. Then, take the silk to Varrock and sell it in Varrock. I do not believe this is the key to millions, as they told me it is only about a 150-gp profit in 30 minutes, but again, if you like doing this, go for it.

People like to buy Bow Strings as well, so you might want to pick a bunch of flax and then spin the flax into Bow Strings. You can get about 100 Gold for each Bow String. Of course, this is a Pay to Play Member’s method only. Although this can take awhile to make a lot of money doing, as most methods, if you just work hard you will succeed.

One of my personal favorites is fishing. I would not recommend cooking your fish, as most of the buyers will buy them raw. I suggest this for Pay to Play as well, because you can fish in Catherby and bank in Catherby. There is no back and fourth from Falador to Karamja. (In addition, it is 30 coins back and fourth for the boat ride! That can be VERY costly!) I spent about a week just fishing. I was determined to get level 50, and sure enough, I did. After I was done, the surplus of fish I had stored up gave quite the profit. Lobsters and Swordfish can be EXCELLENT money makers. If you want to make a bunch of money really fast, fish. This is one of the reasons I do not think that the buy and sell method is good, you only make 150 gp in 30 minutes doing that, but when your fishing you can make about 28,000 in 30 minutes fishing! (Maybe more, according to how fast you catch the fish.)

If you are going to wood cut, the main tree to chop is Yew. Anything before Yew is not a very good money maker; Willows are OK, but nothing big. Anything after Yew is excellent money. Willows as I said are ok, defiantly cut them if you can’t cut yews, but as soon as you can cut yews, do it. There is a GREAT difference in the money. Remember, though, that it is also a great difference in the time spent chopping, especially after the first few levels. Most people wait another 10 levels before they chop yews. It is up to the chopper, I suppose.

Most Runescape Tips are not really tips, but rather common knowledge that is repeated over and over. This is useless when you are actually searching for ways to make millions, gain levels, get items, and so on. As I said, I have read many articles, talked to many people, and the like. A lot of what I “learned” was basic information, but with it I could build my own hybrid of methods. Anyone can make their own methods, but it is making the methods work that is hard. Is there a best way of making Runescape millions? I do not believe so, but rather the best for that person. If you do not like the way you are making money, then you will get bored, take more breaks, then eventually stop all together. This is not good when you are trying to make millions of Runescape gold. So pick ones that you will like to do, experiment with different methods and pick the one that you enjoy.

This does not mean you can not take breaks while money making, it just means that you do not want to become bored. You may also want to have a couple different methods and switch them up from time to time. One day you could fish, the next wood cut, the next mine, although this would require a lot more effort because of the levels, if you truly want to do this then it is worth it. The best way to make millions on Runescape, or achieve anything on Runescape, is to just keep at it.

Set small goals to reach your one big goal. Do things to keep your mission exiting. The worse thing that can happen is to become bored. Once you become bored, it will be harder and harder to achieve that goal, and the harder it gets, the more you will want to quit. So yes, taking breaks is a good thing in this matter. Perhaps you could reward yourself every now and then. Let’s say, every 1000 ore, you could take a break and have some fun. Something along that line, but this method does not work for everyone, some people just get determined and work till it’s done. It all matters on the person. Happy Playing!

Runescape Grand Exchange Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Christmas 2008 Event Guide, Lumbridge Tutors, Runescape Banks Guide, Runescape Cheats, Runescape Economy, Runescape Gold, free runescape money, runescape accounts, runescape easy money

Runescape Grand Exchange Guide

The Runescape Grand Exchange is a brilliant way of making some quick cash. I am very exited that they have put this in the game. It speeds up the buying and selling world! No more world-hopping to find a bank with someone in it typing “selling blah” 100 times over! Nope, now you just put in a buy order and as soon as one becomes available for the price, you set or lower, you will have it!

What is the Grand Exchange?
The Grand Exchange is a large marketplace located in Varrok, the most populated city in Runescape. You can use the Grand Exchange, also referred to as the GE, to buy or sell almost anything! The GE allows a player to buy or sell an item at any time in the world. They do not have to meet up and do a trade; it will just hold the goods for you until you pick them up.

You don’t even have to be there when your waiting on your trade to complete! You can be off fishing and when your trade is complete, the Grand Exchange will tell you. Before you can use the Grand Exchange, you will need to do a tutorial. I suggest going to the Grand Exchange Tutor for it, as the founder (Brugsen Bursen) Will give you a more in depth tutorial and even include the history. It can be very boring, and come on, who wants to sit there listening to a guy ramble on when you could be making money?

The Grand Exchange is not a complex system, it is actually very simple. You can buy and sell items with a breeze. All you do is put your bid or items up, and when someone matches your bid, BAM! Your trade is complete. The time is usually not a matter, every now and then, you will have to wait for it to complete, but for the most part, it will happen almost instantly.

Selling Items at the Grand Exchange

To sell items using the Grand Exchange, You can simply talk to one of the clerks, or just right click and select Exchange. It will pop up a window showing your buy and sell offers that you have going on at the moment. Free to Play Members get 2 on going slots to use, while Pay to Play Members get 6 slots.

Now, lets begin. First, click the sell slot. You will need the items you want to sell in your inventory. You can sell anything that is tradable. If you have, large quantities of items that are NOT stackable, bank notes are also compatible with the Runescape Grand Exchange. Each item you wish to sell (or stack of items) counts as one slot.

Understanding Boxed Armor
This can be hard for selling armor, especially if you are free to play. With only 2 slots, how would you ever get a set of armor sold? Well, Jagex thought of this and now you can convert armor into a boxed set. This is excellent because you can sell the WHOLE set of armor for only 1 slot. All you have to do is have the required armors with you, then just talk to a Grand Exchange clerk. There IS a guideline to what you have to have to make a set, they go as follows:
» Dwarf cannon sets: Cannon base, stand, barrels, and furnace
» Enchanted robe sets: Hat, robetop, bottoms
» Splitbark armor sets: Helm, body, boots, gauntlets, legs
» Mystic robes sets (normal, dark, light): Hat, top, bottoms, gloves, boots.
» Third Age ranger armor set: Coif, body, chaps, vambraces

» Dragonhide armor sets (green, blue, red, black): Body, chaps, vambraces
» God armor sets (Guthix, Saradomin, Zamorak): Platebody, full helm, kite shield, platelegs/plateskirt (the set is marked with (l) or (sk) to indicate which)
» Trimmed and gold-trimmed armor sets (black, adamant, rune): Platebody, full helm, kite shield, platelegs/plateskirt (the set is marked with (l) or (sk) to indicate which)
» Barrows armor sets* (Ahrim, Dharok, Guthan, Karil, Torag, Verac): Body, legs, head, weapon
» Normal metal armor sets (bronze, iron, steel, black, mithril, adamant, rune): Platebody, full helm, kite shield, platelegs/plateskirt (the set is marked with (l) or (sk) to indicate which)
» Trimmed and gold-trimmed wizard sets: Hat, robetop, bottoms
» Third Age mage sets: Body, legs, amulet, hat
» Infinity robe sets: Hat, top, bottoms, gloves, boots
» Trimmed and gold-trimmed dragonhide armor sets (green, blue): Body, chaps
» Blessed dragonhide armor sets (Guthix, Saradomin, Zamorak): Body, coif, chaps, bracers
» Dagannoth armor sets (rockshell, spined, skeletal): Helm, platebody/body/top, legs/chaps/bottoms
» Third Age melee armor set: Platebody, full helm, kiteshield, platelegs
» Gilded armor sets: Platebody, full helm, kite shield, platelegs/plateskirt (the set is marked with (l) or (sk) to indicate which)
» Dragon armor sets: Chainbody, medium helm, platelegs/plateskirt (the set is marked with (l) or (sk) to indicate which)

To open these boxes sets, simply take them to the Grand Exchange clerk. Do NOT right click and click ‘destroy’ this will NOT open the box, it will destroy the box and everything in it. Thus, you loose money.

Conclusion
When you are buying and selling, you are able to adjust the price to your liking. Although you can only go 5% above and below the normal market price, this can be handy. If you are going to sell, I suggest going as far below the price as possible. It is faster, but if you have an item that is worth more and it is well known, I would go 5% above. A lot of players, when buying food, will pick the item, make the amount in the thousands and then buy at the highest they can. Then, anything below that will be also sold to them. This is very handy if you are in need of an item and you do not care the price, just simply go 5% over the market price, and you could end up with the item and some gold back!

The Runescape Grand Exchange can be a wonderful place for money making. If you are looking to buy and you can’t find a guy to sell you something, simply put in a buy order, it will save you a lot of time better spent of training. As long as you have sell orders in the Grand Exchange while you train, you will get rich AND powerful. All thanks to the Runescape Grand Exchange.
Happy Buying, Selling, and Runescaping! Haha!

How to Make Money in Runescape

There are thousands upon thousands of ways to make money in Runescape. Some methods work well, others, not so well. Some methods bring in so little money that I don’t even consider them a way to make money. Others, how ever, can make loads of money and fast. That is what everyone looks for, isn’t it? How to make a lot of money in little time. Well, as you know, I have spent years in Runescape and I have heard a load of different theories of Runescape.

With all of these Theories, you can’t help but make your own. I have, in fact, developed some really great methods, tested AND used by me. The methods you will be reading are methods that I know work. (and no, it’s not going to be the same information used over and over, such as the cowhides.)

Methods to make money in Runescape
One of the most basic and rewarding methods I can think of is what I like to call hording. It can be applied to Fishing, Mining, Wood Cutting, Runecrafting, and many more. Let’s say you want to apply it to fishing. So, you begin fishing, As you gain levels, you also gain a lot of raw fish. You keep storing all this raw fish into the bank. Most of the lower level fish is not going to bring a good profit. Lobsters bring a great profit, Swordfish even more, and sharks a lot more. So, after you reach level 76 you can then fish sharks, but what’s this? Your bank is full of thousands of Tuna, Lobsters, Swordfish and the rest! So, now you sell. You sell your whole stock of fish, you should have a nice pile of money by now. It can take a long time to make money, but if you stick at it you will be rich in no time.

Most methods will take a lot of time. As for the ‘quick’ methods, these usually do NOT work. To get rich, you have to be determined. So if you are looking for super insanely instant money than I am afraid you are going to end up with dead ends everywhere. No money in Runescape is fast, some are faster than others, but for the most part it is going to take hard work to make money. All the pros on Runescape had to work for what they got. So, if you want to be a Pro as well, then work hard. If you work hard for a long time, eventually you can stop and just sit back and enjoy what you have. After you have money, you can then work on your construction level (if you’re a member that is..) and when it’s high enough, you can have a HUGE mansion of a home.

I am going to list some methods really fast without going into detail, taking you step by step will just bore you, and I believe that the best way to make money is to make a method your own. That is what I did.

1. Yew Longs:

I suggest you have these stats:
Crafting: 10
Runecrafting: 44
Mining: 1
Magic: 55
Fletching: 70
Woodcutting: 60

Now, just make a lot of yew longs and high alch them. Or, simply sell all the items needed to make them.. Here is your Outcome:

High Alchemy + 2,000 Yew Longs = 1,360,000 gp
or

2,000 Bowstrings = 400,000 gp
2,000 Flax = 200,000 gp
2,000 Natures = 440,000 gp
2,000 Yews = 660,000 gp
Total = 1,700,000 gp

Selling all the items is a little more money, and using the Grand Exchange can help you find buyers.

2. Flax:
Just pick 1000 flax, sell for 100 ea. Easy eh?

1000 Flax X 100 = 100K gp

3. Bowstrings:
Either buy or pick 1000 Flax, then spin them into Bowstrings. Sell for 180-200 ea.

1000 Bowstrings X 200 = 200K gp (If you bought them your profit would be 100K.)

4. Cutting Maples: 1000 Maple Logs X 100 ea = 100K gp
5. Cutting Magics: 1000 Magic Logs X 1000 = 1M gp
6. Cutting Willows:

1000 Willow Logs X 30 = 30K gp

7. Steel Bars: (Need 2000 coal and 1000 iron ores.) - 1000 Steel Bars X 500 = 500K gp
8. Iron Ores: 1000 Iron Ores X 50 = 50K gp
I could go on and on with methods, as you can see, I have a lot. These were just very basic ones that I know work.

What’s Wrong with Buying Gold?
Some players buy gold from websites. I DO NOT think this is right. For one, it’s ILLEGAL. It goes against the rules of Jagex and no doubt, if you are caught you WILL be banned. Jagex monitors what goes on in their game.

Don’t you think it is a bit obvious that you bought gold when someone random that you just met hands you millions? OF COURSE! Pretty easy to get banned isn’t it? It is a lot better to make the money yourself, without the risk of loosing an account, and even better is the feeling you get after you know you did it yourself. I know a lot of people out there agree with me. Cheating in any form should not be in this game. That is why Jagex tries real hard to stop these cheaters.

I have reported several websites that I have found claiming to sell Runescape Gold. Jagex is not trying to be mean by setting these rules, they are trying to keep the game fair and look out for their players. Are you really going to trust your credit card information with someone who SAYS he is going to give you money in game? I don’t know about you but I think that is down right scary! Jagex has their rules for a good reason, every one of them! Therefore, if you’re thinking of buying Runescape gold, I suggest you stop and think for a moment. Is this really how you want to make money in Runescape? To me, it’s not even making money! It’s more like cheating! Think of all the people out their that work hard just to see someone get millions of gold without having to work a second. Yeah, think about that before you buy Runescape Gold.

People who use cheats are lazy and should not play the game in the first place. Working for what you have is half the fun. (And showing off is the other half. Haha.) Happy Playing.
