Runescape Crafting

Let me guess, you’re out there in Runescape and all of a sudden you want to start crafting? Nothing wrong with that! It is a great skill to have. Nevertheless, to have it worthwhile, you have to have a high level. So, let me give you some quick ways to up that level of yours. I raised mine so that I could do the Lost City quest. I thought for a little while of a quick way to raise it from a low level. Then it hit me, Varrok! All you need is a couple buckets, a chef’s hat to get into the cooking guild, and a pick axe. First go to the cooking guild, then go south. Mine a bunch of clay and go inside the cooking guild. Fill the buckets with water and make soft clay. Now head to Barbarian Village and make them into Pots, Pie Dishes, Bowls, and so on to get those levels up.

Although I have not worked on my crafting since then, I have heard dozens of techniques on how to get crafting levels up. Actually, there are quite a few ways. Crafting offers many different things to make, and as such many different ways to get that experience. A few different things include, Leather, Snakeskin Leather, Dragonhide, Jewelry, and even some weapons! So lets look at the many different things that you can make.

Let’s start with Glass. There are eight different things you can make in the glass category. These include; the Bullseye Lantern Lens, an Orb, the Fish Bowl, a Vial, an Oil Lantern, the Oil Lamp, a Candle Lantern, and a Beer Glass. Beer Glasses can be made at level 1 crafting. You can also make Battle Staffs, which when you charge them also gives magic experience.

You can also make weapons and armor. You can make Lunar Armor with crafting, everything from the Torso to the Boots, to the Legs, and all the way back to the gloves. The experience for these ranges anywhere from 25-35 experience points according to what part you are crafting. Or you could use silver and craft a Silver Sickle which can be used as a weapon.

Ok, lets move on to Jewelry, which is one of my favorite crafting skills. You’re going to need a good smithing level, a friend with a good smithing level, or a lot of cash for this one. I prefer to mine and smith my own gold bars, and then make my own jewelry, so that I know it was all made by my hands. (Or my character’s hands that is, Ha-ha.)

Let’s talk about all the different gems. You have Onyx, Dragonstone, Red Topaz, Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, Diamonds, Jade, and Opals! It can be very confusing if you’re out there trying to make an Opal ring. (This can’t be done.) So now, let’s see what CAN be made. There are about seven different types of each jewelry that can be made - Gold, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, Dragonstone, and Onyx. These apply to Rings, Bracelets, Necklaces, and of course Amulets. Amulets can be strung into other sorts of Necklaces. Almost every jewelry can be enchanted to do something special. Like the Sapphire amulet can be stung and made into an Amulet of Magic, or a Emerald Ring into a Ring of Dueling. The possibilities are Limitless! (Well, they ARE limited.. but there are a lot of different things you can do with crafting.)

Crafting is a big skill. There are all kinds of stuff you can do with it, and Jagex is always thinking of new ones. So if you are ever bored one day, go out and craft!

Runescape Hunter

Friendly Greetings! If you’re looking for a bit of fun, the Runescape Hunter skill is just for you! I started hunting when the skill first came out. It was quite exiting. The thrill of another kill they say, Haha. To me, Hunting was for fun, and my level really didn’t matter. However, as time went on it did indeed get higher and higher. After staying out in the wilds for many weeks, I eventually moved on. But this skill is by far my favorite.

Let’s talk about how to get started. I wandered around for a good hour or so in the beginning trying to figure out what to do. The first thing I hunted was Polar Kebbits. They are north of the entrance to Keldagrim. At level 23, you can hunt Wild Kebbits. As I said, I spent many weeks out in the wilds, there were quite a few different things you could hunt there, and usually I would have some Deadfalls and Bird Snares up. Other times I would box trap ferrets and then use them to catch rabbits. When you start, you will have to track. It’s not my favorite type of hunting, but still fun. You can put bait on your traps if you want, Usually I put the raw birds I got from the bird snares on the Deadfall traps.

If you have completed the Eagles’ Peak Quest, you can hunt Ferrets. You can use the Ferrets you get to flush out the rabbits into the snares. Catching rabbits is tricky, because you never know what hole they are going to pop out of. Eventually you will master catching the rabbits and be off on something else.

One of my favorite parts of Hunting is the outfits you can make with them. You can truly live out in the woods and never have to go to the city. (Except to make the clothes of course.) All you need is an axe, maybe a couple traps, and a Tinderbox. Other than that, everything you would need is out in the wilds. Food you can get from the animals, their furs for clothes, and chop your own wood! In my opinion, the best outfits are the Larupia and Kyatt. Not even dragon armor is as cool as that

If your level 71 hunting and you are looking for something useful, Imps are the way to go! As long as you are not past the level 30 wilderness line, Imps can take two objects (or two stacks of objects) from your inventory to your bank! This could come in very handy.

Falconary is a load of fun. Out in the wilds you can pay Matthias 500 gold to rent a falcon. You can use these falcons to fly out and get a Spotted Kebbit, a Dark Kebbit, or a Dashing Kebbit. These can be turned into capes or gloves.

To hunt using pitfalls, you will need some logs, a Knife and a Teasing Stick. First, find an empty pit. Use the logs on it, and you will set the trap up. Now take the teasing stick and tease the Larupias, Horned Graahks, or Saber-toothed Kyatts. They will begin to chase you. Jump over the pit and hope that they fall in. Sometimes These animals will catch you before you can make it over, so you may want to bring some food, especially you lower levels.

Now that you know a little about Hunting, get out there and try it, and remember Hunting is a great skill. If you make it too serious, it will loose its purpose. So instead of worrying about experience and such, just Have fun with it!

Runescape Auto Bots

Have you ever noticed a level 3 player chopping yews? Most likely, they are using Runescape Auto Bots. These macros will take control of your computer and play the game for you, thus allowing you to gain levels, items, money, and so on without even having to be at the computer. These bots are illegal, and you can be banned from Runescape if you are caught with them. Jagex has made special bots of their own to hunt down people who are using these programs.

On January 19 2006, Jagex banned 15,000 accounts because of cheating. On this day, they posted on their front page that they can easily detect you when you cheat and that it is only a matter of time until you are banned. This is very true, and yet, there are still a lot of people who use these programs with the risk of loosing their account. You can loose your account in more than one way. Besides being banned, you can also loose it to the creators of these “programs”. They will claim that their viruses as the bots and really, as soon as you use them and log into your Runescape account, they will have your username and password. These viruses are called Key Loggers and they will log anything you type and send it back to the creator. Jagex still bans thousands of accounts a month because of this problem.

I find it really sad that so many people are getting their accounts banned for cheating, when they can do the same thing without cheating. Sure, it’s going to take up your time, but it is a game. If you’re not going to play it right, why play it at all? When you cheat at Runescape, you get an instant 99% chance of loosing your account. Whether to a ban or to a virus, taking a risk with 1% chance of getting away with it is complete insanity. It’s much easier to just go spend a week fishing. You will slowly work your way up to sharks, and once you get to sharks, you will have your millions without cheating.

If you do get a Key Logger on your computer, you are in deep trouble. It can get other things besides just your Runescape account. It can get anything that you type. This includes your Credit Card information. Can you imagine trying to use a credit card that is magically maxed out just because you tried to cheat at Runescape? Runescape auto bots you would not be too happy.

Now I will ask you, is it really worth it? I think not. Yet, people are still using them. One reason is to make quick high-level accounts to illegally sell. Then the person who buys the account will have an account that is to be banned soon, and the person who cheated got some money off of it. Jagex is becoming more and more involved and has been hunting down the creators of these cheats and suing them. This is a great way to stop the problem. Now, you can do your part as well. If you find a cheating website, send a support ticket to them with the address. Then they will go investigate. You can also do your part in the game. If you think someone is cheating, report him or her. Let us all help make the game a fair place to play. I know I would much rather like to see a fair game than someone cheating for what they get.

How to Make Money in Runescape

There are thousands upon thousands of ways to make money in Runescape. Some methods work well, others, not so well. Some methods bring in so little money that I don’t even consider them a way to make money. Others, how ever, can make loads of money and fast. That is what everyone looks for, isn’t it? How to make a lot of money in little time. Well, as you know, I have spent years in Runescape and I have heard a load of different theories of Runescape.

With all of these Theories, you can’t help but make your own. I have, in fact, developed some really great methods, tested AND used by me. The methods you will be reading are methods that I know work. (and no, it’s not going to be the same information used over and over, such as the cowhides.)

Methods to make money in Runescape
One of the most basic and rewarding methods I can think of is what I like to call hording. It can be applied to Fishing, Mining, Wood Cutting, Runecrafting, and many more. Let’s say you want to apply it to fishing. So, you begin fishing, As you gain levels, you also gain a lot of raw fish. You keep storing all this raw fish into the bank. Most of the lower level fish is not going to bring a good profit. Lobsters bring a great profit, Swordfish even more, and sharks a lot more. So, after you reach level 76 you can then fish sharks, but what’s this? Your bank is full of thousands of Tuna, Lobsters, Swordfish and the rest! So, now you sell. You sell your whole stock of fish, you should have a nice pile of money by now. It can take a long time to make money, but if you stick at it you will be rich in no time.

Most methods will take a lot of time. As for the ‘quick’ methods, these usually do NOT work. To get rich, you have to be determined. So if you are looking for super insanely instant money than I am afraid you are going to end up with dead ends everywhere. No money in Runescape is fast, some are faster than others, but for the most part it is going to take hard work to make money. All the pros on Runescape had to work for what they got. So, if you want to be a Pro as well, then work hard. If you work hard for a long time, eventually you can stop and just sit back and enjoy what you have. After you have money, you can then work on your construction level (if you’re a member that is..) and when it’s high enough, you can have a HUGE mansion of a home.

I am going to list some methods really fast without going into detail, taking you step by step will just bore you, and I believe that the best way to make money is to make a method your own. That is what I did.

1. Yew Longs:

I suggest you have these stats:
Crafting: 10
Runecrafting: 44
Mining: 1
Magic: 55
Fletching: 70
Woodcutting: 60

Now, just make a lot of yew longs and high alch them. Or, simply sell all the items needed to make them.. Here is your Outcome:

High Alchemy + 2,000 Yew Longs = 1,360,000 gp
or

2,000 Bowstrings = 400,000 gp
2,000 Flax = 200,000 gp
2,000 Natures = 440,000 gp
2,000 Yews = 660,000 gp
Total = 1,700,000 gp

Selling all the items is a little more money, and using the Grand Exchange can help you find buyers.

2. Flax:
Just pick 1000 flax, sell for 100 ea. Easy eh?

1000 Flax X 100 = 100K gp

3. Bowstrings:
Either buy or pick 1000 Flax, then spin them into Bowstrings. Sell for 180-200 ea.

1000 Bowstrings X 200 = 200K gp (If you bought them your profit would be 100K.)

4. Cutting Maples: 1000 Maple Logs X 100 ea = 100K gp
5. Cutting Magics: 1000 Magic Logs X 1000 = 1M gp
6. Cutting Willows:

1000 Willow Logs X 30 = 30K gp

7. Steel Bars: (Need 2000 coal and 1000 iron ores.) - 1000 Steel Bars X 500 = 500K gp
8. Iron Ores: 1000 Iron Ores X 50 = 50K gp
I could go on and on with methods, as you can see, I have a lot. These were just very basic ones that I know work.

What’s Wrong with Buying Gold?
Some players buy gold from websites. I DO NOT think this is right. For one, it’s ILLEGAL. It goes against the rules of Jagex and no doubt, if you are caught you WILL be banned. Jagex monitors what goes on in their game.

Don’t you think it is a bit obvious that you bought gold when someone random that you just met hands you millions? OF COURSE! Pretty easy to get banned isn’t it? It is a lot better to make the money yourself, without the risk of loosing an account, and even better is the feeling you get after you know you did it yourself. I know a lot of people out there agree with me. Cheating in any form should not be in this game. That is why Jagex tries real hard to stop these cheaters.

I have reported several websites that I have found claiming to sell Runescape Gold. Jagex is not trying to be mean by setting these rules, they are trying to keep the game fair and look out for their players. Are you really going to trust your credit card information with someone who SAYS he is going to give you money in game? I don’t know about you but I think that is down right scary! Jagex has their rules for a good reason, every one of them! Therefore, if you’re thinking of buying Runescape gold, I suggest you stop and think for a moment. Is this really how you want to make money in Runescape? To me, it’s not even making money! It’s more like cheating! Think of all the people out their that work hard just to see someone get millions of gold without having to work a second. Yeah, think about that before you buy Runescape Gold.

How to make a lot of Money in RS

Friendly Greetings! I am back once again to tell you the secrets of making a lot of money in Runescape. As you know, making money in Runescape can be hard work, especially if you are using an out dated method. Some people might tell you that you have to be a certain level to make millions of gold. The truth is you can make loads of money at level 3! There are tons of ways to make money in this game. All you have to do is work.

Since I am on the subject of making money at level 3, let me go ahead and tell you a method that can be started as soon as you get off Tutorial Island. After you land in the Lumbridge Castle, go kill some cows and pick up their hides. Then, go bank the hides. You can bank them in the Lumbridge Castle bank or in the dessert. Killing the cows will also give you some good experience points. This will help you level up so you can move on to other methods. After you get about 100 go to the Grand Exchange and sell them for the minimum price. The minimum price right now is about 104 gp each. (These prices change practically daily, so to know the exact price you will have to go see it for yourself.) If you have 100 cowhides and you sell them for 104 Gold each, you will have made 10,400 gp. That’s pretty good for 4 trips to the bank, isn’t it? If you saved them up and you collected 1,000 cowhides, you could make 104,000 gp.

Make a lot of Money in Runescape
Now, that’s good money to start you out in the beginning, but getting 1000 cow hides takes time, and 104,000 gp is not a lot. So, if you are a higher level, I suggest doing the Rune Mysteries quest so you can mine Pure Essence. They sell for around 139 each. It is not a lot more, but if you mine 1000 of those and sell at 139 each, you will make 139,000 gp. It’s about 30,000 more gold for a little more time. Of course making millions with this way, or cowhides as well, will take time. Any method will take time. There is no instant method to get rich, they all take hard work.

For Pay to Play members, you could go pick Flax. They only sell at 80 GP minimum price. This is because Flax is faster to pick and bank than Cowhides or Pure Essence. 80 GP is not enough money at all. That’s why you add another step. Spin the Flax into Bow Strings. These sell for a minimum of 167 GP each. If you have 1000 Bow Strings, that’s 167,000 GP. Still a lot of work, but you will get a lot of money as well.

Now, if you want a little bit more money for your work, chop some yews. They sell at a minimum of 440 each. That means 440,000 for 1000 of them. If you want even more money, take those yews and turn them into Yew Longbows. Yew Longbows sell for a whopping 627 each minimum! That’s 627,000 for 1000 of them. It takes awhile to make Yew Longbows, but if you are dedicated to making millions, sell 10,000 of them and then retire. (By the way, 10,000 Yew Longbows = 6,270,000!)

If you want even more money than that, then get out that Dragon Axe and start chopping Magic Trees. Just one Magic Log sells for 1,231 gold! That means if you cut just 1000 of them, you will have 1,231,000! Cut 10,000 and you will have 12,310,000!! Magic trees take a long time to cut. As I have said, if you work hard, you can make millions of gold on Runescape.

Now you know how to make a lot of money in Runescape. It’s easy if you are willing to work for it. Trust me, that Dragon Long Sword is worth all the work. Good luck and happy money making! Haha!

User Friendly Quests In Runescape

Runescape quests are one of the more diligent activities that players can participate in, other than the normal course of the game and exploring. Some would have apprehensions taking on these quests, not having the patience to take a while and think of what the actual objectives and items that are being asked, or what task to complete for the entire ordeal.

Runescape quests once interacted with the assigned NPC’s have a very detailed question and answer interface. It covers all the necessary and possible areas for consideration, making the whole interactive thing user-friendly and informative for the benefit of players who may be having trouble understanding the entire scenario. For example, a specific item that is being asked will have underlying question that would be generated as each screen of the conversation is being done. This covers all the necessary things in mind that a player may not understand. This also includes out of topic questions, a sort of humor in a way where a player who asks nonsense questions that may not even pertain to the entire quest.

User-friendliness, especially for first time players is something important. For one, not all people would easily understand how the transition of interacting and understanding the task at hand should be carried out must be done. Another thing is the fact that the quests broaden the possible questions to be asked. This eliminates the need for game administrators to have to interfere and answer queries since the NPC’s are programmed for a generalized background on the matter already.

Runescape Training Guide

Almost all players of Runescape have been trained once in the Runescape life. Whether it’s about killing the men at Lumbridge or is about going one-on-one with some greater demons in wilderness, it is all considered as training. This Runescape Training Guide would allow choosing most efficient way for training also earning some of spare gold while at it.

When you start off with the Runescape, you would start with the Tutorial Island. This makes a great place for training while at the level 3. However, unfortunately you can only train till level 3 in any of the skills on the Tutorial Island. Once you are done with it, proceed to Lumbridge by talking to mage in final training at field. Wait till someone attacks you and then you can start off. Until you have reached the 20 level, do not think of challenging the al-kharid warriors on own. The Runescape Training Guide doesn’t recommend on fighting. It’s recommended to train only the strength and then attack if being warrior. Dot train the defence till you have reached 40 + level. Most of the people get slaughtered while making money at 3 + levels, these levels being difficult. Monsters and the guards might attack you. If they happen to attack you then you are sure to lose all money.

People need to train till they have reached the level 35. This would make superb warriors in wilderness despite of its cost. The training for mages needs to be at enclosed space with loads of crannies and nooks, so that the monsters cannot possibly attack on you. The Varrock makes a great place for training as there is even a jail where the monks could be killed. If you happen to reach the jail guard’s place then you need to attack on the guards behind fence. On having enough ranging and maging, you can go to wizard’s tower and then attack lesser demons easily.

The Barbarian village makes a great place for training suggests Runescape Training Guide. The Flesh Crawlers having level 38 would hit the ones and adamant and the rune armour would protect from any consecutive type blows. Get on to second floor of dungeons and then turn on the auto retaliates. Good armour and 40 defence would make the training much easier. Runescape Private Servers are quite alike the Runescape that are in action. However, they would mostly have the “modded” parts like the faster exp, better drops, and others. They are simply hacked by the versions of similar thing. They are the mere hacked versions where a new account needs to be created in order to get started.

If you are looking for the Runescape Private Servers then chances are that you might come across the ads like “Have any items in game. Train the stats quickly. No lag. Up for 24/7” and so on. If you happen to come across such ads, it is best to avoid them.

Now you must be wondering if these hackers would be having each and every item available at the actual Runescape game. With these Runescape Private Servers, Runescape Private Servers, you can get directly to the level 126 or the level 99. Then you might see no point playing such games. However, there is one good reason why you should want to play because they cannot do what they wish to do. They can possibly wield the full dragons and killing best monster in game too would seem possible. They can easily do anything that they wish to as they have 99 skills. If into great fighting, you might make a perfect match for other person.

So then what Runescape Private Servers are popular for? It is believed that some make usage of them simply for getting rid of other people. If you are looking forward to go and risk out getting the key logger and losing the Runescape account to other guy, then simply make a Google search. However, this is not supported by any ways. Therefore, there isn’t any point in taking the trouble of doing the things illegally. Scammers, Hackers, Autoers all risk the accounts all the while. Thus, before going on to searching in Google, think whether it is worth or not.

Runescape Auto Fighter

The terms macro, bots, hacks, cheats are not new to any one who’s played Runescape or spoken to a participant of that game. There are no actual cheats for the game but alas people have still found ways to get the better of them. There are a number of such cheat programs available but they are all illegal and can lead to a ban on your account on a permanent basis.

Jagex can with their powerful scanning programs detect players using these bots and place an instantly effective ban on them and they probably deserve them. Coming back to the bots, the Auto Fighter is another such bot that fights your monsters for you while you eat, sleep or just sit back, relax and watch television. You can just let the bot run on your computer while you go out, meet up with friends and so on.

However, there is the risk of being caught and banned by Jagex. This can mean that you can never play again. Jagex has on its page warned players against the use of such bots as they violate the Runescape rules. Players using these bots gain an unfair advantage over others and that is a wrong thing.

Along with this there is the problem of Trojans and viruses that arises. Many a times you download viruses along with your bot and this can lead to a corruption of your files and problems in your computer. You can lose any important information stored in your computer as well. The Trojans can effectively steal all your account and password details that is not only your gaming accounts but also other accounts you may access; and send it to the creator, a professional hacker. There is also the risk of losing your credit card information thanks to these keyloggers. All this can spell doom for you.

All your information, personal and financial, in the wrong hands can mean real trouble because you never know where this information may be used and for what purpose. The risks from using such programs are too high and dangerous even.

Jagex in order to warn players has posted a message informing them about their scanners and the punishment for using such programs. The ban once put on your account is not easily lifted and it may mean you never get to play the game again. Jagex has been banning several accounts for this purpose and continues to do so by hundred every month. This however is not sufficient.

Along with banning the players they are also trying to find the hackers who create these bots and filing lawsuits against them for what they are doing is illegal. In order to help Jagex and making the gaming world a safe and fair one, you can inform them of the sites you know having these bots and avoid using them while playing the game yourself.

After all the fun of winning a game by your own skills is just out of this world. You can never experience the same feelings or the same high on winning by cheating. Plus cheating to win a game reflects badly on you as well.

So what you need to remember is that a fair game is a well played one. Keep playing and enjoy.

Runescape Barrows Guide

This is one of the best borrower’s guides which will provide you with information relating to equipments, stats and all other forms of quests. The users should be possessing level 70 including 50 or higher for strength and 60 or higher for defense. The range should be above 60.

Most of the players cannot go through the barrows without a spade. 10000 gold, crystal bow, hide body, black dragon, glory ammy, 100 to 500 noted sharks with 5 or more noted ones should also be included. Some of the quests required and recommended for barrows include ghosts ahoy for lower level mages or while using regular spells, nature spirit for players who have not done the Myreque quest and the priest in the peril.

The people out there who have been a member for a long time have an advantage to get treasure trail clue. In order to get the treasure all that has to be done is to kill atleast 6 brothers. These brothers give the players a real tuff time and are extremely tuff to kill. The names of the brothers include Ahrim, Dharok, Guthen, Veracs, Torag and Karil. The player is needed to kill 5 of the brothers in the crypt while the last one has to be killed n the tunnels. Moving forward the player now has to get into the barrows. Move towards the Canifis bank and get hold of the supplies. Now simply head towards south and get to the fence, on the eastern side watch for the door. After crossing the door turn on the run more and head towards south. After getting through the broken path you can again get back to the walk mode. Always try and stay on the eastern side while the players who are in the grey grounds would head towards northern trails. Take the northern path and move towards Mortton. Head towards west where you can get hold of the transportation spot, get over the bridge and finally into the big place.

First kill the mage brother so you do not have to use the spell more frequently. The hardest brother is Dharok who can be found near the stairs. Just move towards the next hill and then to north east where lies the hill dig. Before searching for the crypt it will be good to get the full prayer and setting the spell. Turning on the melee protection is also essential. After preparation Dharok can be killed. All the other brothers can be easily killed in any other order.
