Quick Runescape Experience

If you are searching for a method to get sufficient and quick runescape experience then through the fast tutorials on how to power your levels you can easily get the clear idea. However, you just have to remember that it may cost you more and may perhaps be a boring method of playing runescape but this will surely provide you enough experience for the longer run.

• Agility – When it comes to taking the agility course you have to keep in mind that some of them possess a specific level to get into them. You just have to utilize the agility course and get trained however you would need a single dose to get in. Later, to power the train with agility you have to go to the runescape wilderness course.
• Combating and Crafting – You must clearly understand that combating is for members only and to go to the north part of Relica and kill the rock crabs you have to combat forcefully. Crafting is basically difficult however is a free gem crafting and cutting. You must make a note that to do crafting and cutting you must possess several things which you need to craft in advance.
• Farming and Firemaking – This is the fastest method of purchasing plant seeds and tree seeds. A person may refer limp roots however any kind of plant seed will take almost 17 minutes to grow and so will be alching when you would farm the seeds. Fire-making is just the method of using willows. These willows are the cheapest logs that are available however it will also take maximum time to level utilizing he lower levels of logs.
• Fetching and Fishing – The fetching guides is in fact listed in the section of Runescape. You must always remember that when you were the noob and you were getting several features. You require getting back to the chicken coop and try to get more of the easiest and the quickest method to get fishing skills at any kind of level.
• Herblore and Mage – This is no specific method of getting sufficient experience and the much required skills through herblore however if you possess any idea then freely discuss this idea on the Runescape Boards. However, for the experience of mage there are many methods which you can get going. Teleporting is the first method as it recommends the highest law spell which you can perform or, if that is costing too much then you can purchase trains and mind runes.
• Mining, Prayer, Runecrafting and Smithing – Mining is one of the easiest methods to grab along with the mine iron. On the other hand, prayer is just the only thing which you can perform when going to the wilderness yard to take the bones for burial. In runecrafting you can produce chaos laws and natures by using Abbys. For smithing you just have to grab a ring and lots of iron ore and later smelt the iron ore to the iron bars to produce iron arrowheads.
• Woodcutting and Thieving – You have to cut willows and then drop the logs. Similarly, until you pick the pocket farmers make steel cakes from the steel silk or stalls.

The young and anti social in Runescape tarred with the same brush

My son wanted to set up a new Runescape account, he is 9 and well capable of using the internet, he knows what to avoid and how to avoid the adult/unpleasant side of the internet, he ought to be he has spent most of his Internet life with me drumming it into him. he went through the process of starting his new account, he found a name that is available, a name he liked and a unique name so he didn’t need loads of numbers after it.

He answered the questions that were asked to set up his new account and he entered the (at the time) new tutorial island equivalent in the tutorial Lumbridge.

He did all the tasks and escaped to the real Lumbridge, then I hear a shout, “Daaaaaaaad I cant speak”, “what do you mean you cant speak I just heard you” was my reply, I trotted off into his bedroom to see what had happened, sure enough his account was in Real Lumbridge and nothing he typed came out on screen, I checked to see if he was on a slow chat (officially quick chat) world and no he was in a normal world, quick chat worked but he couldn’t speak.

I looked at his account settings and couldn’t see any reference to being muted, no reference to any offences on his account (I would have been concerned if there was with it being a new account). I quickly came to the conclusion that he is only allowed quick chat because he is under 13 years of age.

I understand Jagex covering their back by only allowing minors to use quick chat, it does seem a little strange that they are not forced to use quick listen, the things they can hear can be just as dangerous and disturbing if not more so then the things they can say, the thing that gets me is that I can not as a parent over ride the option, my son wants to chat to his friends, I know he is as sensible and capable of using free speech as anyone else and I am happy for him to be able to say his own sentances.

If a player swears on Runescape, if they are racist and unpleasant they can be muted and only use quick chat, that is basically saying if you are older and bad on Runescape then you are given the same rights as a minor, my son is not as bad as the people who use unpleasant words and should not be given the same punishment.

I personally think players muted for their words/actions should be given a punishment, taking their speech away for good is not a deterrent its a way of banning them, would you continue to play if you had a permanent mute? I know I wouldn’t, how about removing an armour option as a deterrent, removing the head slot would be a handicap but not stop them playing, they wouldn’t be able to use Barrows armour but could use Bandos, they wont be able to train on Aberrant spectres and banshees so lose slayer points, have this for a month and they would think before swearing again, it doesn’t need to be an armour slot how about an inventory row depending on the severity of the offence, only being able to use 8 inventory slots would be a deterrent for anyone.
If they continue to abuse the system regularly then a ban is in order not grouping them with under 13′s.

runescape skills

My son wanted his account with his name but being muted it was no fun for him, I found him a new name and told him to put another date of birth when registering, I told my son to lie, I have always taught my son to tell the truth and making him lie just to have an account that I am happy for him to have goes against my beliefs, I hope Jagex find a way around this.

Woodcutting, a vague guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Runescape Guide, Runescape Help, Runescape Powerleveling, Runescape Skills, Runescape Tips

have been training woodcutting since I first started playing Runescape, in fact woodcutting was one of my first 2 skills to get a fairly high level, the second being mining, I am not a great fan of woodcutting or mining now.
I decide to go for 99 woodcutting because over the years I had got it to 96 and just a few levels would get me another cape.

To get to 96 I cut the best tree I could, I wasn’t bothered about time because it was not my main cash generating skill and I was in no hurry, oaks are a very good tree to chop at lower levels (not to bad at higher levels either), xp is fast and you get loads of birds nests and tree seeds, my favourite spot for oaks was just outside the west gate at Varrock, easy to chop as there are 3 trees, you only need to chop 2 because they respawn quickly.
Had I done it for speed I would have stayed there for a few levels above the minimum for cutting willows, instead I went to willows when I could and chopped there until I could chop yews, the best willow place is Draynor Village chop and bank and repeat.
As soon as I could chop yews I chopped yews, I wasn’t bothered about cash I just wanted to chop yews, the xp although not as good as willows was adequate for me and I enjoyed chopping there, the spot I preferred was west of Catherby using the Catherby bank to unload, the fun at Catherby is its a fancy dress chopping area, players like to wear their full Dragon, Dharoks, elegant and Ringmaster now, dress to impress is the dress code for Catherby.
I like to change training spot so would normally chop yews at catherby, occasionally chop willows at Draynor and oaks at Varrock just for a change of scenery.

When I could chop magics I had a go at them, Magic trees are very slow, and when I say slow I mean verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slow, but none the less they are fun to chop for a while if you want to sleep, chat or just fight of randoms, Lletya is my place of choice for magic trees, use the teleport crystals to bank and run the short distance back to the trees.
When magics were first there they were very noisy and only choppable if you turned sound off, luckily Jagex have reduced the sound so you can still listen to what you are doing, its quite relaxing to chop at Lletya.

Even with the ability to chop magic trees it is still a lot quicker xp to chop willows, even more so than yews, there is the option to chop teaks which are better xp than willows, the only problem with teaks is there is no bank near so you either burn or drop, I personally don’t want to play with every log that I chop so I stick at willows, teaks are great if you want to train fire making at the same time but guaranteed RSI if you don’t, if you want to chop teaks the best place is Ape Atoll, you can chop as a monkey so you don’t get attacked.

Chopping aids
There are numerous ways to help your chopping efficiency, this is where the term “noob bait” comes in, this is a name I made up to describe a situation to guarantee questions from many players.

Lumberjack
Lumberjack clothing is obtained from the Temple Trekking mini game, it adds a small amount of xp per log when chopping, with the full set it adds 2.5% more experience, over time the 2.5% adds up quite considerably, with this set alone you will get 99 wood cutting 2.5% faster than without, you need level 44 woodcutting to wear Lumberjack.
The down side is it can take a very long time to get the Lumberjack Jacket, it took me 2 weeks almost constant playing the mini game, I may have been able to get more xp chopping for the 2 weeks but I wanted the set and there are other good prizes from the trekking game.

Beaver
The beaver familiar gives you a woodcutting boost of 2, this is invisible so it can not help you chop a tree 2 levels higher than you can currently chop but you will be chopping at a speed that a player 2 levels higher can, this works out as a 2% woodcutting increase so you can get 99 woodcutting 2% faster, the beaver also collects planks and logs up to yew, this can cover the cost of the shards for the beaver pouch and it uses a willow log to make so you are chopping them anyway.

Inferno Adze
The Inferno Adze doesn’t give you a woodcutting boost but it burns a percentage of the logs you chop, they simply catch fire and whiz over your shoulder, I have included it here because if you burn the logs you do not need to bank so often, they are burnt as you chop so no time is wasted burning them, I estimate that about 1/4 to 1/3 are burnt as you chop so you can save as much as a bank trip per 3 to 4 full loads.
I have got my last 2 firemaking levels without burning a single log, firemaking is a waste of time as far as I am concerned so levelling with no direct intervention from me is a bonus, although it is a waste of time it is still a skill and one day I will master it, just not a priority at the moment.
You need 92 firemaking to get and wield an Inferno Adze, you obtain the Inferno Adze by completing the mini game after the All Fired Up quest.

Rabbits foot
Wearing a Rabbit foot around your neck is reported to increase the amount of bird nests you can get when chopping, I cant say that I have noticed but if Jagex say it does then it must, birds nests are desirable beacuse the ground nests have value for herblore and the tree seeds are worth up to 180k for magic seeds at current prices.

Noob bait
Just because people are low level or don’t understand something doesn’t make them a noob, I just call it this as a bit of humour.
I wear all the above and you can imagine the amount of people who ask where I get this where I get that, does it do this, does it do that, its OK but after the 5th person in 2 minutes asks it can get a bit tedious, luckily other players like to show off their knowledge and tell the next person who asks.

I no longer wear my slayer cape chopping as that gets far too many “Do emote” comments.

Strategy
There is a tendency for people to chop their own tree, there is no reason to have your own tree, in fact it is detrimental for all people chopping, it is far better to go to a tree that everyone is chopping, this will make the tree fall quicker but at least if the tree falls and you move onto another there is always a tree to chop, if every one has a different tree at the same time and they all fall (this often happens) then everyone is stood around gaining no XP.
The trees fall at the rate of the lowest level woodcutter so if you are a high level woodcutting player and you join a low level the tree will fall quicker but at least you can chop.

My top tip is, Chop and enjoy, if you don’t enjoy take a break, I take slayer breaks very regularly.

Woodcutting, a vague guide

Woodcutting, another Runescape level 99 for me

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Runescape Community, Runescape Guide, Runescape Help, Runescape Money Making Guide, Runescape Powerleveling

I  have chopped and chopped and chopped and now I have a shiny new cape to show for it, today 2nd November 2008 I got my woodcutting skill cape, this is one of my greatest achievements because it can only be obtained by working for it, you cant buy supplies to speed it up you need to chop every log using just xp and stat boosting equipment as a aid.
I have not rushed this skill, because I quite enjoyed it I did find myself coming back to it on an almost daily basis, when I had 1m + xp for the last few levels I kept focused by watching the xp and not being overwhelmed by the magnitude I broke it down into smaller chunks, a target of 10 x 100k a go is a lot easier to stomach than 1m xp, every time I started I would aim to get to the next century, sometimes I would go for 200k if I was enjoying myself and chatting to other choppers and 50k if I wasn’t and wanted to kill something.

I am not one for shouting about my achievements but a few of the woodcutters there kept asking how far to 99, and my countdown went from 50k to 760xp at very regular intervals, I banked my logs just before levelling and everyone was watching as I chopped my last log.

Considering I knew no one there before I started chopping they all congratulated me on my 99, it was really nice to see lots of strangers all congratulating me on my achievement, I have always made a point of congratulating people for every level I see them gain no matter how low, a level is always an achievement and it is one step closer to a 99.

powerleveling runescape

Another piece of news I got the last helmet for my void set, void range helmet is now sitting in my house with my void mage and melee hats and full void armour, I have maxed combat and no need for the points at Pest Control I just enjoy it there so used the points to get void armour as a trophy, I wonder what I shall get next there, perhaps some charms for summoning, who knows.

Stealing Creation, Runescapes new combat/skills minigame

Posted by: amber  //  Category: runescape, Runescape Cheats, Runescape Guide, Runescape Help

Stealing creation is a few days old already, It didn’t appeal to me much so I didn’t try it immediately, been chasing stars instead.

Yesterday I gave it a go, I watched my son play before so I had a general idea what to do.

I did the little tutorial, all appeared to be OK so I decided to speak to the goblin to be put into a team

I stood in a square with some other players, lots of stats and numbers about not sure what it meant but the general idea is its trying to balance skill levels between teams, I guess its so the strategy would win the game not a 1 sided team, I believe this happens at Pest Control in the background trying to match similarly speced players.

The game started and I ran out grabbed some clay made an item to be able to get better clay then repeated until I could get some good level 5 clay, I then collected clay made stuff and banked it in our base, sometimes just taking clay and dumping it on the table for other to make stuff with.

I played 2 games and was pretty bored with it so decided to just have a play I tried pick pocketing people, this is when it started to be fun, there would be ancient mages there using Ice spells freezing everyone killing them very quickly (ancients is far to powerful for this game) I would jump out of a cloud and pick their pockets, often pinching their runes so they could no longer fight, bearing in mind I am 99 thieving so I can pick pocket anyone and only players over 79 thieving can pick pocket me.
I would then take the runes back to the base for points.

It is a very fast paced game, you do get time to think but the game seems to be over quickly because you are constantly doing things.

It will take a while to work out tactics but I personally don’t think it has much to offer, certainly not enough to keep me at it.

The main complaint I see is that you don’t get skill xp from it just combat, I am sure there was a reason for Jagex not giving skill xp in the first place but I would be very surprised if they don’t change things so that the skilling aspect of the game is recognised.

A tactic I picked up when playing to get huge amount of points is to runecraft, get the clay and make runes you can do this without returning to base for as long as the clay source is there, when you have exhausted the clay go back and bank, there is a slight drawback to this, if you are killed returning to base you will lose all your hard work and the other team get it.

There is also a problem with the game in the fact you can collect all runes from your base, this will guarantee your team losing so anyone can sabotage the game for their friends on the other side.
Having said that the winning team gets a 10% bonus in points, not enough to be that bothered about winning the game.

The prizes are low spec armour that looks good but has no real place for fighting, some good tools for skillers that give extra xp when using them, hatchet, butterfly net, hammer, harpoon, knife, needle or pickaxe, this sounds fine but is the hatchet as good as a dragon with the extra xp or is it a rune one? same with the pick is it a rune pick with extra xp? if it is dragon and rune items will plummet in price, because it costs 20k points for the tools, 20k points can be obtained easily in 1, 20 minute game, the butterfly net, hammer, harpoon, knife, needle can only give better xp, I am looking forward to trying them.

Runescape Money Making Mining Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Beginners' Guide, runescape, runescape easy money, Runescape Gold, Runescape Help

Are you frustrated with rocks intimidating you with their weird colors? Follow my guide to give them what they deserve, while profiting from them.

Level 1-6:

If you plan on training mining only, then you can do the rune mysteries quest and mine rune essence to sell for 35 each. If you plan on training mining and smithing, then mine copper and tin (Falador mine is best due to the proximity of the bank and the furnace) to make into bronze bars that can be sold for 100 each. Check the forums on Runescape to find bronze bar buyers (you don??t have to be a member).

Level 6-21:

Either way, by this time you should have enough money to buy a steel pickaxe from Nurmof (inside the Falador mine). Use the steel pickaxe and continue mining the essence or copper and tin.

Level 21-31:

Now, go buy a mithril pickaxe from Nurmof with the money you??ve earned and use it to mine iron rocks in the southern portion of the Falador mine (low level miners mine here). Sell the iron ore at Falador bank for 100 each on world 1-5 (whichever isn??t full when you look).

Level 31-41:

Go buy an adamant pickaxe from Nurmof with your money. Mine the iron in the northern portion of Falador mine now. If the scorpions hurt you too much, then you can still mine the iron where you were before.

Level 41-60:

Go buy a rune pickaxe from Nurmof or from players for 32k (32,000 coins) if there isn??t one at his shop. Mine any coal rocks you can find (many coal rocks will be used by higher-level miners). Sell the coal for 180 each on worlds 1-5. An alternative may be to mine gold rocks in the crafting guild if you have over level 40 crafting or anywhere else you can find them. You can then sell the gold ores for 450-500 each (just find a buyer in the forums).

Level 60-70:

You now have access to the mining guild. There are 37 coal rocks and 5 mithril rocks in the mine. You can continue to mine coal or gold, but you can also mine mithril rocks that sell for 400 each on the forums.

Level 70-85:

You can continue mining the rocks you did from level 60-70; however, at level 70 you can mine adamantite ores that sell for over 1k each.

Level 85+:

Congratulations, you can mine rune; however, for f2p (free to play) players, the only rune rocks are found in high wilderness. The ores can be sold for 12k each, so it??s your choice to mine them or not.

varrocka was rebuilt, and before three summers had passed it was again a bustling town. Merchants – no longer afraid of goblin raids – brought three times as many goods to the markets, and bards came from across the human lands to see the man who had brought peace with the goblins.

Arrav, for his part, was restless. Each night he would look to the sky for portents; signs that his doom was upon him. He knew that should he see those signs, he must flee from his home to save it. Each night he would watch the skies and the stars, noting movements in the darkness, comets, the flight of birds.

Then, just as he was forgetting his fate with time, two years since the peace was struck with the goblins, Arrav dreamt again of the dark and sinister figure.

In the middle of a field of dream-black wheat, beside a river of ghostly water Zemouregal came to him. Once more the mahjarrat was clad in black, black greaves upon his legs and black gauntlets covering his hands.

‘You have failed, Arrav,’ Zemouregal spoke with a voice made of a thousand whispering blades, ‘I will come to Avarrocka and destroy it. There will be no tears for this town, for I shall lay waste to all mankind – you upstarts will see the elder race return to claim its dominion. My legions shall blot out the horizon on all sides, and you shall be the last to see the light. This I promise you.’

Arrav opened his mouth to speak, but only spiders came out. They ran across his face, biting, scuttled down his chest and over his arms. The mute horror consumed him and he woke with a scream.

Those few of the elders that had escaped the destruction of old Avarrocka heard the scream and knew that Arrav would leave them. In the morning all rose to seek him out, but his hut was empty. He took nothing with him save his armour and his weapons. His home was as if Arrav had merely gone out to hunt.

The elders were afraid now, and talked among themselves about the danger of Arrav’s destiny, of the need to find help from old allies. They sent out their scouts to seek the counsel of the dwarves and the men of far-flung towns.

Part 1: Chapter 1: The 10th Squad

1) To start the quest, speak to King Narnode Shareen in the Grand Tree. After a few seconds talking with him, you find out something is wrong. He will tell you that some of his men disappeared whilst decommissioning Glough’s ship building facilities in Karamja. Near the end of the conversation, he will ask you if you will go to Karamja and seek the 10th Squad of his Royal Guard. If you say yes, he will hand you a Royal Seal.

2) Once you have the Gnome Royal Seal, go to the top floor of the Grand Tree, and catch the Gnome Glider to Gandius (Karamja). Now, once you are on Karamja, head north until you reach the Shipyard Entrance .

3) Try to enter the Shipyard, and the Shipyard Worker will stop you. He will ask you what you’re doing, and you’ll say that you are on a special mission for King Narnode Shareen. He won’t believe you, but then you will show him the Gnome Royal Seal .He will let you through.

4) Go to the southern part of the Shipyard, and speak to G.L.O Caranock. He will ask if Glough sent you, and you’ll tell him that Glough was forced to resign. You will then go on to tell him about the 10th Squad. Caranock will tell you he knows absolutely nothing about them, and that they recently had some strong winds blowing in from the south, and that it may have blown them off course.

5) Now you must head back to King Narnode. Take the Glider (south of the shipyard), and go down the ladders to the king.

6) Speak to King Narnode again, and tell him you investigated the Shipyard. When he asks what you discovered, tell him you found a gnome called Caranock. The king will tell you he is unfamiliar with the name. He will then ask you about the 10th Squad, and you’ll tell him they may have been blown off course by extreme southerly winds. He will then give you a scroll with his orders on it, and tell you to find Daero, who is on the eastern wing of the second floor of the Grand Tree.

7) Speak to Daero, and you will give him Narnode’s orders. He will tell you that he has to decode it, and that you have to go on a reconnaissance mission, to the southern-most region of Karamja, where no Gnome dared travel. Continue talking to Daero about the journey, and ask what lies to the south of Karamja. He will say a large atoll, populated by monkeys.

Ask him how you will travel there, and he will tell you that one of his colleague’s will accompany you on the mission. Continue speaking to him, using up all of the options available. Once you have chosen the “Leave…” option, he will tell you that you must meet with his colleague, Flight Commander Waydar. Daero will give you a blind fold, and tell you to go with him.

When you arrive in the dungeon , speak to Daero again. He will introduce you to Waydar, who will fly with you to south Karamja.

9) Speak to Waydar. He will say that they cannot fly the gliders until the re-initialisation code has been completed. Ask him where the re-initialisation code is, and he’ll tell you that it’s the red panel south of him and that you must crack the code. This is a LONG and grueling process if you’re bad at puzzle boxes. Click here for the finished product. There is also a picture of the finished product, which you can find in game, by searching one of the crates beside the panel. If you do not wish to do this puzzle, you can pay Glough 200k. Glough is found in a house southeast of the Grand Tree. Note that if you log out, the puzzle will be reset.
Strategy: The best way to do the puzzle box, is one row at a time. Attempt starting off with the top row, and work your way down. If you cannot get it done, you will have to pay Glough 200k to continue with the quest.

10) Once you have completed the puzzle, the ground will shake, the screen will fade out, and you will be watching the gliders fold out. Now speak to Daero, who will command Waydar to fly you to Karamja. Speak to Waydar, and he will tell you to bring food. If you are ready to fly, say yes, if not, exit the area, to get supplies. Head south and operate the Teleport device to exit .
Strategy: Before leaving for Ape Atoll and Crash Isle, use the teleport device to the south of the control panel, and bank at the Grand Tree. Withdraw at least 20+ Lobsters, an antipoison, a prayer restore potion or two, a super energy potion or strange fruit, and a ring of dueling or glory amulet, to get back to Al-Kharid.

runescape autominer

Posted by: cool  //  Category: Beginners' Guide, runescape, Runescape Gold, Runescape Guide, Runescape Help

Practicing a skill in RuneScape can be the most tedious aspect of the game especially when it comes to mining. It can be a very long and boring process to train your mining skill up so that you can mine the more expensive, useful ores and metals. Of course you could buy them from other players but the quickly becomes very expensive.
Player have long since developed the runescape autominer. This program will auto mine any ore while you sleep or are away from your computer, collect and deposit the ores and train your mining skill. If you decide to get a rs autominer then you have to be very careful as most will get you banned. A good autominer has many antiban features like resting and auto talking. Sadly, most websites that offer autominers are scams that try to steal your runescape password or hack your account so that is why you have to never give out your RS2 passwords to any website.
We have tested many auto miners and the best runescape autominer we found is featured at the site below. If you are tired of downloading autos only to find that they do not work then we recommend you click the banner and go to a site that actually has one that works!

I reccomend this place to anybody becuase if you have got normal magic you can glory to edgeville, and if you have ancients you can tele to darayeek to get there and tele to edgeville to get to the bank

1.3 The Slaying
Dragons are NOT hard to kill despite what some people may think, if your melee stats arent good you can range them from a distance. If you are meleeing this is what you need to wear. You could also wear some hides to protect you from the dragons breath. If you have the right outfit killing dragons is as easy as killing a chicken( it just takes longer). OR you could range them, the only safe spot is at the middle dragons and the other safe spot is in the trees.

1.4 What to Bring
NOTE im only bringing 8 lobs becuase that is all i need, if you are a lower level you may need 12-18. Bring teles depending on where you are banking

1.5 THE REECH BECH WAY
To do this you need 81+ mage and need to be set onto ancient magicks. it is simply teleporting to carallanger (84 mage) killing the dragons and then either glory or ring of duel teleing to bank. banking this way can be shortened from a 10 minute walk to about a 30second trip. it doubles the speed you get them at and therefore doubles the money you make

If you are 84 mage you will not need the wizard mind bomb, this is the absolute fastest way to kill dragons and it is worth saving up the money and alching the 30k or so yew longs to get the required level

1.6 The Selling
There are 3 ways to sell

  • Go to world 2 bones are 2.3-2.7 each and hides are 1.5-1.9, try and get a combined 400k runescape gold per 100 dragon bones and hides, selling them in lots of 100 makes it alot easier
  • The forums - bones are under the misc section and hides are in the crafting section
  • Find a buyer!- find somebody who will always buy them from u at a steady price if they arent on try method 1 or 2
