That speck on the horizon we first mentioned in this month’s Behind the Scenes is now a little closer. It’s just about big enough to make out some writing on its side… What could it be? What does it say? And just what on RuneScape have wolpertingers got to do with it? All these questions and more are answered in today’s brand new Development Diary (well, okay, maybe not the wolpertinger one just yet

1. Go to the castle in Varrock, to the library in the north of it, and talk with Reldo. Ask him if he have any quests for you.

2. Now, search the bookcases where you are, and when you’ve found the book, read it and decide which side you want to join. Either, you can join the Phoenix Gang, or you can join the Black Arm Gang. Follow the walkthrough for the gang you want to join in the next steps.

Phoenix Gang
3. Talk to Reldo again. He’ll tell you that he doesn’t know anything about the Phoenix Gang, but that Baraek can tell you something.

4. Go to Baraek, which is standing on Varrock Marketplace. Be sure to have at least 20 GP with you know, else he will not tell you anything.

5. Now, head to their hideout, which is south in Varrock [map]. Go downstairs and talk to Straven. First, tell him that you know who they are. Then, tell him that you’d like to offer your services.

6. Now, head to the Varrock inn [map] and kill Johnny the Beard (level 2). Pick up the scroll, and head back to the Phoenix Hideout and talk to Straven again. You’ll now get the key to the Phoenix Gang Weapon Storage.

7. Enter the hideout, and go to the south-east of it, and open the chest.

Black Arms Gang
3. Talk to the Tramp south in Varrock, just by the southern entrance. Ask him if there is something down the alleyway, and he’ll tell you about the Black Arm Gang.

4. Head to the large house behind the Tramp [map]. Talk with Katrine, tell her that you know that it’s the black arms gang, then say that you don’t want to reveal your secrets. Then say that you want to become a member of their gang. Then tell her that you’re up for a challenge. You’ll need to bring back two Phoenix Crossbows to her.

5. Now, find your friend in the Phoenix Gang. You need the key that he/she has to the Storage Room. When you have it, go east of the Phoenix Hideout [map], and climb upstairs. A waponmaster in level 23 will attack you, simply kill him and pick up two crossbows.

6. Head back to the Black Arms Gang hideout, talk to Katrine, and you’ll give her the crossbows.

7. Enter the hideout, go upstairs, and find the cupboard. Open it and search it. If it’s not in the cupboard, search the chests and boxes until you find it.

Ending the Quest
8. Now, find your friend again. You or your friend have to give his/her/your part of the Shield of Arrav. Then, head to the Curator in Varrock Museum, east of Varrock Castle [map]. The person with the parts needs to give it to the curator. This person will get two certificates, and he/she have to give the second sertificate to his friend. Then, the friend that just got a certificate, have to talk to the Curator.

Why search for Runescape 2 Cheats, Hacks, Autominers & Item Duplicators?

Posted by: cool  //  Category: Runescape Guide, Runescape Hunter, runescape money, Runescape Money Cheats, Runescape Money Making Guide

it never ceases to amaze me just how many people out there are trying to cheat their way through Runescape and find a quick way of making a few extra gold pieces instead of playing the game like the rest of us do – just as a challenge and for fun. I don’t understand it? I mean I think it is a sad state of affairs when hundreds of people are searching for runescape 2 hacks and cheats instead of searching for things like runescape 2 help or forums where they can go to site like the forum I run, Runescape Boards, and get good quality help that will not only be loads more reliable but also won’t get your banned and all things considered will probably earn you a lot more Runescape gold along the way.

Negative Aspects of the Downloaded Moparscape Servers

Posted by: cool  //  Category: Lores and Histories, Runescape Banks Guide, Runescape Hunter, runescape items

Moparscape Servers are illegal as I’ve said above, since creators breach copyright laws by stealing code from Runescape to make their own servers. Jagex has often closed down such private servers by threatening creators with lawsuits from Jagex, but ten private servers also pop up with the demise of any one under different names. Moparscape also has many copycats pretending to be it when the copycats are just key loggers or malware with a false name, causing players to infect their own computers with viruses in the name of fun. You are advised not to use your real Runescape username and password, or any password that you use for sensitive information such as banking, e-mailing and working.

For more information on Moparscape servers, head over to Runescape cheating websites like sythe, eliteneo, fagex or the official Moparscape.org address to play moparscape, download moparscape or find the moparscape scripts list. You can also search on Google for where Moparscape is available on other websites.

Positive Aspects of Moparscape Servers

Posted by: cool  //  Category: Runescape Autofighter, Runescape Guide, Runescape Hunter

Moparscape servers serve as a haven of freedom to players who like a walk on the wild side when playing games and don’t want to be hampered by rules of game play with the fact that Moparscape itself is illegal by breaking Jagex’s copyright of Runescape. Moparscape servers also provide an alternative to Runescape players who might have been temporarily or permanently banned from their Runescape accounts but who still want to play Runescape. Private Servers like Hybridscape (which are built into Moparscape) also draw players who want to have some fun with doing weird stuff like walking through walls in Runescape, and many a player has had fun taking screenshots of themselves in Moparscape Servers with items like full dragon, and every party hat in or not in existence.

Pkers

Posted by: cool  //  Category: Runescape Guide, Runescape Hunter, Runescape PK

Pk= Player Kill
Pking= Player Killing
Pker= Player Killer

I’m sick and tired of hearing about people complaining about pkers and how they make Runescape worse. I myself am not a pker and have never truly been one, I have no plans to ever become one, and despite my level I am often attacked or killed by pkers while in the wild. Although during these times I am often mad or upset, I realize (when I’m more calm) that I’m not being mature on the matter and niether is 80% of the Runescape community (but hey, what do you expect?).

I’m often reading certain threads on the forum about people being pked and how they’d wish Jagex would introduce something that would protect the non pkers from the pkers. Many of their arguments are that pkers will pk people for no reason and that it ruins their treasure trail , monster (team) killing, effective coal mining, and whatever have you. Yes, if you are an avid level 3 treasure trail hunter, someone who likes to fight the King Black Dragon a lot with his friends, an agility trainer, or just plain normal person wondaring around the wild, then yes, it does disrupt what you’re doing.

However, one must take into account that the wild is meant to be dangerous by both monsters and pkers alike. The fact it is dangerous is what keeps other players out and makes what’s there, valuable. If the wild were like any ordinary town or place, then imagine how easy it would be to achieve everything the wild has to offer, from an insanely great agility training arena to monsters that drop items worth several millions. It would make the game much easier and take away the fear and adrenaline that one gets when traveling into the wild.

Let me give you an example. Let’s say they remove the ability to pk (or make it literally impossible by introducing somekind prayer or button). Imagine how many people would be at the KBD lair, how many people would be killing the valuable monsters there (like the black unicorns for example, or greater demons for non members), how many people would complete their treasure trail, how many people would be training in the small agility course, how many people would be there. Trimmed/god armor prices would be cut down dramtically, agility would be harder to train (since certain obstacles mandate only 1 player at a time), unicorn horns would be so harder to get because EVERYONE is killing them, newbs would reap the benefits of what the wild has to offer (such as the runes in black warrior fortress), and so on.

The thrill of being in the wild would be non existant. Simply, things cannot work normally, and thus this would make the game worse. Fear is what keeps the players outside the wild. They fear losing their Abyssal Whips and whatever else they hold dear to another player within seconds. It’s what makes the wild worth venturing into, and if players would stop being so stubborn and greedy, they’d realize that pkers are what make the wild worth visiting. You may or may not agree with me on the matter, but this is how I feel about the wild and pkers.

I’m a Runescape Classic veteran. I originally started playing Runescape in the year of 2002, and during that time I really loved Runescape. I would literally stay in one spot for hours at a time mining two coal rocks and spending 20 minutes walking back and fourth from the bank and my location. I worked really hard for this game, and for those of you who think Runescape is hard now, you know NOTHING.

I bring this up because I have been pked and attacked several times during my years with the game, and though at first I was upset, I’ve come to the realization that it was my fault. I wanted to take my chances and risk it all, and I lost.

Pkers can be very annoying and they’re garunteed to drive you mad occasionally. But please, just ignore them. Don’t say “!&@$ you!” or “Thanks for keeping the wild cool!”, just ignore them. If you want to curse them out, go ahead and risk your account beind banned and having your time and message wasted on someone who’s not even listening. Just remember that the wild is the pkers land, and the second you walk into it, you’d better be prepared to fight or run.

Runescape Hunter

Posted by: admin  //  Category: Runescape Hunter

Friendly Greetings! If you’re looking for a bit of fun, the Runescape Hunter skill is just for you! I started hunting when the skill first came out. It was quite exiting. The thrill of another kill they say, Haha. To me, Hunting was for fun, and my level really didn’t matter. However, as time went on it did indeed get higher and higher. After staying out in the wilds for many weeks, I eventually moved on. But this skill is by far my favorite.

Let’s talk about how to get started. I wandered around for a good hour or so in the beginning trying to figure out what to do. The first thing I hunted was Polar Kebbits. They are north of the entrance to Keldagrim. At level 23, you can hunt Wild Kebbits. As I said, I spent many weeks out in the wilds, there were quite a few different things you could hunt there, and usually I would have some Deadfalls and Bird Snares up. Other times I would box trap ferrets and then use them to catch rabbits. When you start, you will have to track. It’s not my favorite type of hunting, but still fun. You can put bait on your traps if you want, Usually I put the raw birds I got from the bird snares on the Deadfall traps.

If you have completed the Eagles’ Peak Quest, you can hunt Ferrets. You can use the Ferrets you get to flush out the rabbits into the snares. Catching rabbits is tricky, because you never know what hole they are going to pop out of. Eventually you will master catching the rabbits and be off on something else.

One of my favorite parts of Hunting is the outfits you can make with them. You can truly live out in the woods and never have to go to the city. (Except to make the clothes of course.) All you need is an axe, maybe a couple traps, and a Tinderbox. Other than that, everything you would need is out in the wilds. Food you can get from the animals, their furs for clothes, and chop your own wood! In my opinion, the best outfits are the Larupia and Kyatt.

If your level 71 hunting and you are looking for something useful, Imps are the way to go! As long as you are not past the level 30 wilderness line, Imps can take two objects (or two stacks of objects) from your inventory to your bank! This could come in very handy.

Falconary is a load of fun. Out in the wilds you can pay Matthias 500 gold to rent a falcon. You can use these falcons to fly out and get a Spotted Kebbit, a Dark Kebbit, or a Dashing Kebbit. These can be turned into capes or gloves.

To hunt using pitfalls, you will need some logs, a Knife and a Teasing Stick. First, find an empty pit. Use the logs on it, and you will set the trap up. Now take the teasing stick and tease the Larupias, Horned Graahks, or Saber-toothed Kyatts. They will begin to chase you. Jump over the pit and hope that they fall in. Sometimes These animals will catch you before you can make it over, so you may want to bring some food, especially you lower levels.

Now that you know a little about Hunting, get out there and try it, and remember Hunting is a great skill. If you make it too serious, it will loose its purpose. So instead of worrying about experience and such, just Have fun with it!
