Runescape Hacking: Avoiding Keyloggers and Protecting your Runescape details

Posted by: igsky2  //  Category: Runescape Money Hacks, Runescape Password Cracker

This is Part One of keeping your Online Gaming Accounts safe. This entry applies to everything online that requires a password to gain access - not just games. Email accounts, Online Gambling accounts, Online Banking accounts - anything you log into over the Internet can be subject to attack by hackers. The more you know about the scams in place, the safer you and your online accounts are.

Spyware, Keylogging “trojan” programs on your computer and even your own wish to ‘fast track’ your advancement are serious threats when it comes to the privacy of your personal information, and security of your online gaming characters.

The three major ways you’ll find your online accounts ‘hacked into’ include:

Visiting a ‘rogue’ website OR DOWNLOADING SOFTWARE that exploits flaws in Internet Explorer and plants a keylogger or password sniffer on your computer without your awareness (note, anyone who uses your computer could do this unknowingly). Many Autoclickers, Autominers, Autofishers and Autotalkers are actually TROJANS waiting to steal your password, so beware!
Having your trust abused by unscrupulous individuals who claim to work for the company providing the online service and then demand your username and password with a threat of banishment
Purposely giving out your account information (username and password) with the hopes of being able to “hack” the system - or someone else - yourself, usually to gain virtual items, money or levels without following the “usual” route.
Avoid Known Browser Exploits - Use Firefox, Not Internet Explorer

Download Firefox by clicking the Firefox/Google graphic at the top right of this blog.

Internet Explorer is the world’s most popular browser for those who use Microsoft Windows as their operating system, specifically because Internet Explorer comes installed with Windows computers, and most users (especially novice ones) won’t think to replace or even upgrade it. Unfortunately, because IE is so popular, and because so few users keep their software up-to-date, many hackers have focused their time developing programs and websites to exploit Internet Explorer’s known flaws. There are a LOT of browser exploits out there.

While all Windows users should visit WindowsUpdate.com once a month to catch up on Microsoft’s various security updates for the entire Operating System, Internet Surfers who wish to protect their online information should strongly consider moving away from Internet Explorer.

Scan For Spyware And Keyloggers Regularly

While replacing a highly-targetted-for-hacking browser with one less focused on is an important first step, it’s also important to acknowledge that hackers are constantly releasing new software and websites and trying new tricks to steal your online accounts from you. For this reason, you should be scanning your computer on a regular basis (at least once a month) to detect and remove spyware, data harvesters and keyloggers from your Windows PC.

Download Lavasoft’s Ad Aware SE (for your home computer, there’s a free version). Then, make sure all aspects of it are updated (when you first download it, there may still be updates you need to download immediately after installation) and then let it scan your drives. This may take a while if you, like me, have large drives. It’s worth the wait but you might want to let it scan overnight if you’ve never scanned before. Remove *ALL* of the things that Ad Aware SE finds. You may have to right-click the list and choose “select all” before proceeding if you have a long list. I had a friend with over 700 items in this list the first time we cleaned his computer up, and once they were all removed, his browsing sped up tremendously again.

Download Spyware Search & Destroy (these can both be found in Tucows directory) and do the same things as were done for Ad Aware in the previous paragraph. I find that these two programs work nicely together to keep my drive clean, with my doing weekly scans.

Never PURPOSELY Share Your Account Information Or Password

Any web link you get from an email that brings you to a page where you’re supposed to enter sensitive information like your credit card, bank info or passwords, don’t do it! Banks and other service providers would NEVER contact you that way.

Any instructions you receive about sending an email with specific details enclosed (usually under the guise of “I can upgrade your stats/equipment/cash” if you just follow these instructions…), examine the information carefully - if you’re sending out your username and password, they’re stealing your account!

Even just giving out your username can encourage hacking of your account at times. If your username is not already visible to others, don’t give it to anyone, as they may try to crack your password with brute force (ie: a program that has a list of dictionary words it uses as passwords in login attempts).

Be Careful What Addons And Hacks You Download

While some online games allow for third-party software to be “added on” to improve your enjoyment of the game, some games do not. RuneScape, for example, has no legitimate addons which do not violate the Terms of Service you agreed upon when signing up, and very often any addons you’ll download are actually keyloggers that enable someone else to steal your account entirely.

Games like World of Warcraft, however, have a thriving “UI Mod/Addons” community and many advanced users download and install .LUA scripts which work with WoW to change launch bars, introduce in-game schedulers, track information while gaming, etc. In this case, the general rule is this:

If the Addon you’re downloading contains an executable file (in the form of a .bat file or a .exe or .com file), be very careful about running it. Executable files can easily contain keyloggers specifically added to steal your account information.

Keep Your Virus Checker Up To Date

And finally, as is standard these days, get a virus scanner that runs on your machine all the time it’s on, and make sure the virus scanner keeps up to date. I personally use Norton with its LiveUpdate feature, but you may prefer something else, or your computer may prefer something else  I’ve had virus programs severely slow down my machine’s performance and even crash it, while on other machines that virus program works just fine. Do what works, and what doesn’t cause you headaches, and then make sure it scans at least once a month.

Keep your computer clean. It’s an important step in protecting your personal, private information from those of unscrupulous internet users!

Easy Runescape Money

Easy runescape money:
Go to Port Sarim, west of Draynor village, and ask one of the people in the blue uniforms to go to Karamja and pay them 30 runescape gp. When you get there, walk off the dock and you should see a house. Enter the house and talk to a man named Luthas. He will ask you to pick bananas. Answer “Yes”, pick bananas, put them in the crate, then talk to Luthas to collect your moderately earned 30 runescape gold. If you would like more money in multiples of 30, ask him to get another 30 runescape gold for doing the job again. Stay here for a long time if you need to spend several thousand on runescape items..

Get your character’s mining level up to level 38 by mining iron, etc. Then, go to the Barbarian Village and mine coal from the rocks, which you can sell for 100 to 300 runescape gold per piece. You will also occasionally find a gem (from least valuable to most, sapphire, emerald, ruby, diamond) which can be sold for good prices.

Once you are at level 40 mining, add a person named yodoo86 to your list. He always buys coal. Mine coal and sell to him for 100 runescape money.

Get your smithing and mining levels up to 40 and mine gold in the Lessers Pits on Karajama Island. However, be careful of the level 21 skeletons. There are five rocks, so on a good night when no one is on, you can hit them in a row making your trip very easy. You can usually get 25 gold ore that becomes 25 runescape gold bars. Put them into certs and sell for 1k a gold cert.

Mine and smith until you are at level 20 at both. Make Bronze Bars and turn them into things at an Anvil such as: a 2-H, Mail Plate Body, Skirt, or Kite Shield and sell them at the market for good prices. You can also do this with Mithril, Runite (not Rune), Adamantite, Iron, and Steel.

Go to the house outside of Lumbridge and collect Iron Daggers on World 13. Also, defeat Goblins for items that can be sold or runescape gold, which is common. Sell the daggers for 14 or less at the market.

Get your mining level up to 30. Mine coal and you can make them into certificates and trade them for 1,000 runescape GP each.

Get your mining level to at least 15, and your smithing level to at least 30. Go to the mine south of Falador. Mine lots of iron, and take it to Falador Furnace. Go north of Falador to Doric’s Anvils. Smith Iron Square Shields and Iron Kite Shields. Take them to the shield shop in Falador and sell them for fast and easy money.

When you begin smithing a particular type of metal, smith Daggers at first and sell most or all of them. Then, once you get your smithing level high enough to make Short Swords, create as many of them as possible then sell as many of them as possible at the Varrock Sword Shop. They give you the best value per bar. It is possible to make over 1500 runescape gold by selling Steel Short swords. It is also a good idea to allow the swords to regenerate after each sale because you can then get the most possible money for each of them.

Go to Chaos Temple. Kill monks and take the Steel Maces. Sell them to the Mace Store in Falador for 138 runescape money. Do this repeatedly to get levels and money quickly.

Go to Varock. Kill the level 21 guards there to get skill levels and up to 30 runescape gold.

Go to Lumbridge on any World (1-13, etc.) and go to the house where the Goblins (level 7) respawn. There are two fishing spots there. If there are people fishing, they will usually drop Raw Salmon and Raw Trout which you can cook (if your cooking level is high enough) and sell in the general store for 10 to 30 runescape gp.

Put all your items in the bank (including weapons and armor). Go to the Red Spider fortress in the wilderness. Ggo inside and dash for the Steel Legs or Gold Ore. If you die, you will keep the Ore and Legs and lose nothing. For higher levels, try getting three before dying or stocking up all the way before leaving.

Kill farmers, men, muggers, and thieves to get small amounts of money ranging from 3 runescape gp to 20 runescape gp. You can find people to kill in the inns.

Get your smithing level to 25 and your mining level to at least 15. Then. go to Falador Mine at the mining site behind the Falador Castle. Get iron and go to the furnace. Then. go to Dorics (the little dwarf) and smith battle axes and other items such as square shields and long swords, which all sell over 50 gp each at the general store. Do this repeatedly to get easy money. Note: Sleep in the bed near Wayne’s Chains.

Get your magic level up to 55 (high level alchemy) and buy a Runeite Medium, for 8,000 to 10,000 runescape gp. Use it on the Runeite Medium to get 18,000 runes cape gp. Buy another Runeite Medium and repeat those steps to get easy money. Note: This spell uses 5 Fire Runes and 1 Nature Rune.

There are about seven spawn points for coins. In the wilderness, go to the Dark Warrior’s castle and kill them until you get the Rare Black Mace and Black Medium Helmet, which both sell for a lot of runescape gold. Get your crafting up to level 40 and make all kinds of jewelry, which also sell for a lot of money. Make Strength Potions and sell them by the wilderness in Varrock for 1,000 runescape gold. Also make food and sell by the wilderness.

Go to Karamja Isle and to where the people fish. Poeple will fish lobsters and swordfish until they cannot carry anymore. They will drop the fish. Take lots of lobsters and swordfish. You can make these into Certs in Draynor, and sell Swordie Certs for 2,000 gp.

How to Make Easy RuneScape Money

Posted by: Jenny  //  Category: Runescape Money Hacks, Runescape Money Making Guide

In my days, I have heard hundreds upon hundreds of How To Make Easy RuneScape Money tips. I have also developed some myself that really can work. I will name both mine and others that I’ve heard so that you can get rich quick. By the time your done reading this page, you should have a great idea of how to get the money for that party hat that looks oh so appealing.

I heard about thieving for money, though it seems like a lot of work, they swear by it. I have never tried this for moneymaking; I just tried it when it first came out. First things first,
You have to have at least level 50 thieving. Therefore, at level 50 through 70, they told me to pickpocket guards 13,684 times to get 410,500 gold pieces. But Still, 13,684 times! That’s insane! After this, from 70 to 80, pickpocket watchmen for another 364,529gp, and 9,113 bread. I believe they based these numbers on how many you need for the next level. At level 80, they told me to pickpocket Paladins to make 100,000gp in an hour. But be sure to bring lots of food. Again, it seems like a lot of work for the money, but if you’re really dedicated, I suppose you could make a lot of quick cash.

High Alchemizing, or High Alching to some, can be a great money making technique. You have to have level 55 magic to be able to do it, f you have a high enough fletching level, I would suggest making magic bows. One magic Longbow goes for 1,536gp in high alchemy. So think about if you had 100 of them! That’s like 153,600gp! Or think about if you had 1000 of them, 1,536,000gp! So, as you can see, fleching + magic = Gold pieces, and a lot of them. Of course, there are other things you could alch to make some money, such as Steel Platemail, which goes for 1,200gp each. Or a Magic Shortbow, that is priced at 960gp. If you need help getting your magic up, I suggest reading this article; How to level your magic fast.

I have heard many things on Mining. For some, it’s just a simple thing that plays a very small role in their lives, but others say that everyone should have at least 40 mining. They say to mine 4,731 coal for level 60 mining, and then mine another 59,598 coal to get level 85 mining. When you get level 85 mining, go mine rune in the wilderness and sell for 10,000 to 15,000 gp each. Again, this is a long and hard process, but if you’re dedicated the money pay out can be quite a bit.

Now I’m not even going to mention Smithing, Fishing, or RuneCrafting, because these are all great ways of making money, and I don’t believe they need explaining.

If you want to kill monsters for a living, I suggest killing Blue Dragons (level 111), Fire Giants (level 86), Black Dragons (level 227), and King Black Dragons (level 276). They all have really great drops. And if you have the stats to fight them, why not?

One of my personal favorite money making ways, I call Item Trading. It’s basically like bartering.
You have full steel; you trade that for a mithril plate body and a steel long sword. You trade the long sword for a mithril scimitar. You trade that scimitar for some mithril legs. Then you trade those legs for another mithril plate body. Then you trade that for some mithril legs and a full helm. Then bam, full mith from full steel. It can take a long time to find someone that has something worth trading for, but if you kept trading on and on, you might end up with full rune!

I hope you will try some of these methods, especially the merchanting one. It has gotten me a lot of items in my days. So why not share the wealth eh? Happy playing!
