Dwarf Cannon

Start: Begin by talking to the Dwarf Commander just north of the Fishing Guild.
Skills: None!
Quests: None!
What You Need: Nothing required.

——————————————————————————–

Getting Started

First off, talk to Captain Lawgof located a short distance north of the Fishing Guild. He can usually be found wandering around near a small shed, past a fence. He asks for your help to protect the mines, so tell him that you’ll help.

Helping Secure the Mine

The Captain will first ask you to help repair the fence to the south, and he’ll give you 6 Railings. You just need to inspect each section of the fencing, and when you find a broken one, repair it. After fixing the 6 sections of fencing, head back to the Captain.

Now he wants you to check up on the guard at the Black Tower to the south. Go south until you reach the tower, and then climb up the 2 ladders to the top. You should find some Dwarf Remains in the corner; pick them up and bring them back to Captain Lawgof. He’ll now ask you to find the guard’s son.

Dwarf Child & the Cannon

Head south back to the entrance of the Fishing Guild, and then go inside of the cave to the east. Search the crates in the room to the far northwest, until you find the Dwarf Child. He’ll go back home, and you can now leave the cave by climbing over the Mud Pile at the entrance. Now go back to the Captain, who needs you to fix the Dwarf Cannon.

The Captain gives you a Toolkit, which can be used to fix the cannon inside of the nearby shed. After inspecting the cannon for a second time, you’ll be able to fix the separate parts that were broken. Sometimes you may need to try more than once to fix the parts, but I found that by fixing the Pipe, Axle, Shaft and Barrel in that order made it easier. Once it’s fixed, talk to the Commander again.

Now the Captain wants you to find out what the cannon shoots. Head to Ice Mountain, located just north of Falador, and talk to Nulodion. He can be found in a building near the entrance to the Dwarven Mines. He will give you some Notes and an Ammo Mold to bring back to Captain Lawgof to finish the quest.

Rewards

750 Crafting experience
Nulodion will now sell you a Dwarf Multicannon for 750,000gp, or 200,625gp per piece for a total of 802,500gp.

Runescape Crafting

Posted by: cool  //  Category: Runescape Runecrafting Guild, Runescape Skills

Let me guess, you’re out there in Runescape and all of a sudden you want to start crafting? Nothing wrong with that! It is a great skill to have. Nevertheless, to have it worthwhile, you have to have a high level. So, let me give you some quick ways to up that level of yours. I raised mine so that I could do the Lost City quest. I thought for a little while of a quick way to raise it from a low level. Then it hit me, Varrok! All you need is a couple buckets, a chef’s hat to get into the cooking guild, and a pick axe. First go to the cooking guild, then go south. Mine a bunch of clay and go inside the cooking guild. Fill the buckets with water and make soft clay. Now head to Barbarian Village and make them into Pots, Pie Dishes, Bowls, and so on to get those levels up.

Although I have not worked on my crafting since then, I have heard dozens of techniques on how to get crafting levels up. Actually, there are quite a few ways. Crafting offers many different things to make, and as such many different ways to get that experience. A few different things include, Leather, Snakeskin Leather, Dragonhide, Jewelry, and even some weapons! So lets look at the many different things that you can make.

Let’s start with Glass. There are eight different things you can make in the glass category. These include; the Bullseye Lantern Lens, an Orb, the Fish Bowl, a Vial, an Oil Lantern, the Oil Lamp, a Candle Lantern, and a Beer Glass. Beer Glasses can be made at level 1 crafting. You can also make Battle Staffs, which when you charge them also gives magic experience.

You can also make weapons and armor. You can make Lunar Armor with crafting, everything from the Torso to the Boots, to the Legs, and all the way back to the gloves. The experience for these ranges anywhere from 25-35 experience points according to what part you are crafting. Or you could use silver and craft a Silver Sickle which can be used as a weapon.

Ok, lets move on to Jewelry, which is one of my favorite crafting skills. You’re going to need a good smithing level, a friend with a good smithing level, or a lot of cash for this one. I prefer to mine and smith my own gold bars, and then make my own jewelry, so that I know it was all made by my hands. (Or my character’s hands that is, Ha-ha.)

Let’s talk about all the different gems. You have Onyx, Dragonstone, Red Topaz, Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, Diamonds, Jade, and Opals! It can be very confusing if you’re out there trying to make an Opal ring. (This can’t be done.) So now, let’s see what CAN be made. There are about seven different types of each jewelry that can be made - Gold, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, Dragonstone, and Onyx. These apply to Rings, Bracelets, Necklaces, and of course Amulets. Amulets can be strung into other sorts of Necklaces. Almost every jewelry can be enchanted to do something special. Like the Sapphire amulet can be stung and made into an Amulet of Magic, or a Emerald Ring into a Ring of Dueling. The possibilities are Limitless! (Well, they ARE limited.. but there are a lot of different things you can do with crafting.)

Runescape Money Making Runecrafting Guide

Posted by: admin  //  Category: Runescape Guide, Runescape Runecrafting Guild, Runescape Skills

Don鈥檛 have enough money to buy runes? In this guide, you鈥檒l learn how to make over 181 million gp by making runes.
This runecrafting guide includes mining rune essence, which I would recommend getting a high level. If you don鈥檛 have high level mining or can鈥檛 buy the essence, then read my Runescape Money Making Guide.

Before you start:

Complete the Rune Mysteries quest by first talking to the Duke in the Lumbridge castle. Bring the mysterious object to Sedridor in the WizardTower basement. Then, take it to Aubury in Varrock rune shop. Come back to Sedridor and you鈥檝e finished the quest.

Level 1-22:

Go to Varrock and get a pickaxe (highest you can use). Mine 1,120 rune essence. Use the talisman from the quest and get a tiara. Then, go to Falador east bank. Go south to the air altar. Use the talisman on it, then use the tiara on the altar inside. Then wear the air tiara and go back to the bank. Get as much essence as possible from the bank and go back to the altar. This time you鈥檒l only have to click the altar to get inside. Keep doing this until you finish off the essence. When you鈥檙e finished, you can sell the air runes or keep them.

Level 22-44:

Get 10,005 essence and make air runes. By this time, you should be able to make 3 air runes per essence. This makes a profit when buying for 30-35 each. You鈥檒l be able to sell the air runes 15-20 each. That means you make 15-25 profit per essence.

Level 44-55:

If you鈥檙e a member, then get 12,332 pure essence and make natures. If you鈥檙e f2p (free to play), then get 22,198 essence and make it into airs. Relax, you get profit if you鈥檙e buying them. You can make 5 airs per essence. That means for 30-35 each essence, you get 45-65 profit per essence. That鈥檚 over 1 million gp!

Level 55-66:

36,625 pure essence if you鈥檙e making natures; 65,924 essence if you鈥檙e making airs. Air-makers can make 6 airs per essence now. If you鈥檙e making airs, that鈥檒l make you almost 4 million gp!

Level 66-77:

108,815 pure essence if you鈥檙e making natures; 195,866 essence if you鈥檙e making airs. Air-makers can make 7 airs per essence now. That鈥檚 14 million gp!

Level 77-88:

323,355 pure essence if you鈥檙e still making natures; 582,039 essence if you鈥檙e making airs. Air-makers can make 8 airs per essence now. That鈥檚 over 52 million gp(rs gold)!

Level 88-99:

960,962 pure essence if you鈥檙e making natures; 1,729,731 essence if you鈥檙e making airs. Air-makers can make 9 airs per essence now. At level 91, nature-makers can make 2 natures per pure essence. At level 99, air-makers can make 10 airs per essence. That鈥檚 over 181 million gp!!!

Runescape - Runecrafting Guild

Posted by: admin  //  Category: Runescape Guide, Runescape Runecrafting Guild

Beyond the Runecrafting Guild, this update brings you a few small things that should make your lives easier…

Kazgar, Mistag and Dartog have been given right-click options so you can quickly ask them to guide you through the Lumbridge Swamp Caves. Elkoy, the guide from the Tree Gnome Village maze, has been given a similar option.

When you previously right-clicked on a chat message from another player, you were always offered the option to ‘Add friend’ and ‘Add ignore’. If that player was already on your Friends list, those options weren’t very useful, so we’ve replaced them with a new ‘Message’ option. This is identical to what would happen if you clicked on your friend in your Friends List. (This is not available on Quick Chat-only worlds.)

Tai Bwo Wannai village welcomes its newest arrival, Imiago. If you’ve completed Jungle Potion, he’ll be willing to protect your calquat trees from disease in exchange for eight poison ivy berries.

The gardeners who protect bush patches have always demanded payment to look after poison ivy bushes. It’s been pointed out on the Forums that poison ivy bushes never get diseased anyway, so the gardeners no longer offer to look after them.

Ever since a brave adventurer rediscovered Runecrafting, mages from the Wizards’ Tower have been working hard to figure out its intricacies. In fact, so many have been drawn to Runecrafting’s secrets that a guild has formed.

Not everything is rosy and happy in the guild. An argument has raged over the magical reaction that creates rune stones: are green or yellow orbs more important in the process? Agree to resolve their conflict and you’ll find yourself in our newest minigame, The Great Orb Project!

The purpose of this team-based minigame is very simple: collect more coloured orbs than the opposing team. Watch out, though, as they will be pushing your orbs out of the way to stop you winning. This frenetic minigame offers few rules and a great alternative to conventional Runecrafting - all with a range of rewards, of course. Expect rune essence, Runecrafting XP and new magical equipment if you wipe the floor with your opponents.

The Runecrafting Guild also offers a number of features that are not tied to the minigame. The rune altar map helpfully shows the location of all altars; one mad wizard has learned how to repair abyssal pouches; and the head of the guild is working on a marvellous omni-talisman that combines the powers of all existing talismans into one.

Note that the guild is available to both free players and members - the Runecrafters want all the help they can get!
