Capes of Accomplishment

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Introduction

There are a total of 24 Capes of Accomplishments (aka Capes of Achievement) in Runescape. You can buy the skill capes when you got a skill to level 99, the quest cape can be bought when completing every quest. Each cape has it’s own special emotion that can be done when wearing the cape.

Note: The Capes of Accomplishment are members only.

Skill Capes

All skill capes can be bought for 99,000 gold at the master of that skill when you got to level 99. The skill capes give +9 to all defence stats making it the second best cape in Runescape, the trimmed cape gives an extra +4 bonus to Prayer.

Agility Skill Cape

Thieving Skill Cape
Location: In the Rogues’ Den (Burthorpe) from Martin Thwait.

Woodcutting Skill Cape
Location: South of the furnace in Lumbridge from the woodcutting Tutor.

Trimmed Skill Capes

If you got two or more 99 skills, then all your skill capes will be trimmed. This happens automatically when you get your second skill to 99. The only difference the trimmed cape has is a +4 prayer bonus and ofcourse the trimming on the edge. Quest Capes cannot be trimmed and completing all quests doesn’t count as a 99 skill for trimming other capes.

Quest Cape

To get this cape you must have beat all Quests and the Rag and Bone Man wishlist. The bad part about this cape is that it will be un-equiped when a new quest comes out. If your inventory is full it will go to your bank, if bank is full it will go to the wise old man and he will give it back to you for free.

Quest Cape
Location: Bought from the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village.

Effects

When you use the Emote or use operate, you’ll be 100/99 this can be very useful for some skills.

Free Runescape Membership 2nd Edition

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Have you tried all the guides you found on the internet to get a Runescape membership for free and found out that none did actually work? Well, this one does and will

Many people have tried other Runescape guides, like Dominion’s guide to free membership (Even mine stopped to work a while ago because most of the sites listed became scams (1st edition)) , but none actually work and eventually people gave up. I am going to talk about many aspects in this guide.

Why do other guides do not work?

Since a year, Jagex have been requesting that Paypal accounts needs to be verified before being able to pay for a membership(Which none of the other guides ever mentionned), there is two ways to do this:

  • Add a bank account and confirm it
  • Add a credit card

The first way is the way i actually used, you put in your bank account information onto your Paypal account, Paypal send you two small amounts of cash into your bank account. You note those two amounts and then enter them in the verification proccess on Paypal to make it confirmed then you should be verified less than a week after. IF you aren’t(like it did to me), send a e-mail Paypal Customer Support a week after you confirmed to bank account and they should make your account verified.

Now, onto the guide:

  1. Get a Paypal account: To pay on Runescape for a membership, you will need a Paypal account:
  2. Verify your Paypal account: See the instructions at the beggining of the article
  3. Now, we need to get money on the internet, many sites are to avoid because they are scams or pays you like a petty slave. Here i will give you a few sites to actually get some fair money.

3.1 Triond:

I cannot repeat it enough, google puts your articles into their search engine.

Pros:

  • A solid money-making website
  • Free exposure for your articles
  • 0.01$ per 3-5 views
  • Constant income each month(Your articles keep making money every month after they are submitted and accepted)
  • 0.50$ payout minimum on Paypal

Cons:

  • Triond only pays the 15th of each month

3.2 MyLot

users for writing posts on their forums. You are paid for how much lines you write and for the quality of your posts.

Pros:

  • You can make a lot of friends :)
  • You make a few cents per 5-10 lines
  • you’re paid to talk

Cons:

  • Not a good constant money income, you will have to make money each month with this website to keep your membership
  • Pays once per month with a minimum payout of 10 US dollars on Paypal

3.3 GangsterGreed

GangsterGreed is great for making money. You are paid by completing offers but Only US residents can complete offers. Outsiders have to get referrals to make money.

Pros:

  • If you live in the US, you can make 10$ in about a hour
  • 10$ minimum payout on Paypal
  • 25% referral commission on the first level
  • Instant Payout(Paid within 24-48 hours)

Cons:

  • To make money out of the US, you need to get US referrals
  • Not a constant flow of money if you don’t have referrals

4. WEBSITES TO AVOID

There are many websites out there that will try to scam you or pay you like a slave, here are the kind of sites you should avoid:

  • Sites that promises you thousands/hundred of dollars
  • Survey sites in general
  • Sites where you are paid to click ads, read e-mails, stick a ad bar on your monitor(except if you can get a lot of referrals, there you can get a lot of money) in general
  • Money saving programs
  • Sites giving Runescape hacks :) , you don’t want your Runescape account stolen

5. And the most important!

Have fun enjoying your Runescape membership ;

Get a Skillcape in Runescape Fast

Detailing how to get a skillcape in RuneScape fast.

Hello RuneScape people! You’re probably thinking… how do I get a skillcape really quickly and easily? Well, I have a way for you to do this without any cheating or hacks. There are two skillcapes that are done this way, and they cost primarily little for a mid lvl 60s person.

Skillcape of Cooking

Yes, this is the easiest one only needing 600K. First of all, you should get your cooking to 40 by cooking trouts, then salmon, then tuna. When it gets to 40, buy 73,000 buckets (575K). Fill all these buckets up with milk (the very long part), and then store them in the bank. Then, buy 73,000 pots (73K). Pick 73,000 pieces of grain and get pots of flour and store them in your bank. Now, go get 73,000 eggs and put those in your bank as well. Now buy 50 cake tins. You mix all the ingredients together (eggs, pots of flour, and milk) into the cake tin, then use it on a range (this will give you 180xp). Every time you finish an inventory, eat the cake (or else you would have to buy 73,000 cake tins). Repeat this 73,000 times. This will probably take you one and a half months, but if you stick to it, you will have a skillcape.

Skillcape of Firemaking

The instructions here are actually very simple. Go to the grand exchange and buy 144,000 willow logs (18gp each or 2.6mill total, then burn them. THAT’S IT!

Make Millions Using a New Grand Exchange Method

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

This new method will guarantee you making at least some money if not millions. Takes advantage of the GE to make things go very quick!!!!! F2P and P2P both!
Overview.

If you want to make millions with the new Grand Exchange, use this simple method.

Techniques
Techniques used include walking, buying, selling, conferring with other players while besmirching their profits.

How It’s Done

Listen very carefully. I mean very. If you don’t follow the steps in this order, you will become lost and will lose lots of money.

Put everything in your bank. Try to weigh 0 kg. Take out 1 gp
Walk to Varrock general store and buy a bucket
Walk to the cow pastures and fill the bucket with milk from the Dairy cow. The dairy cow is sometimes hard to find because (s)he is near all the other cows. But I have faith in you that you’ll be able to fine him/her.
Take your bucket of milk back to the Varrock general store. Sell it and buy Shears.
Go to the place where you completed the quest “Sheep shearer.”.
Sheer 15 sheep
Spin the wool
Sell the wool balls at the GE
Buy a bronze pick axe from the GE
Mine clay and sell at GE
the place near Varrock west bank has a great clay deposit (nearly 2 rocks)
REPEAT TILL SATISFIED
Profits
I have personally made like 1-2M off this method

Spread The Word

The more people that are doing it, the more money you make! Power to the people!

How to Use Oak Logs for Cash

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Requirements:

  • 15+ Woodcutting, I suggest higher but 15 is fine.
  • The highest axe you can chop with (bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant, and rune)
  • You will need 100k-300k cash already.
  • Need to be a member.

Process:

  1. Woodcut 1k-5k oak logs per load depending on how much money you have.
  2. Once cut take your money and an inventory full of unnoted oak logs.
  3. Go out of the east bank of Varrock and North once you pass the guards, keep going until you get to the guy that you make planks from, and make planks.
  4. Repeat step 2 and 3 repeatedly, this process should go fast depending on how much you cut and how much money you have.
  5. Once you have the oak planks sell them the the Grand Exchange for highest-market price. (Try highest before you sell market)
  6. Have fun making money.

I hope this easy process will help you.  I doesn’t take very long once you know what you’re doing but “it takes money to make money”.  Before you try to start doing this make sure you have at least 100k I would suggest because lower than that might take a while to make money, but go ahead it’s your decision.

Getting Started
So you want to make a melee pure in Runescape? You must be prepared for long
hours training, the risk of losing, and eventually the glory of victory and
free items. Create an account, call it whatever you want, and go through
tutorial island.

Choosing Goals
There are only a few baselines for a melee pure in RS2, on Free To Play.
Number one is 40 attack. You need attack to wield Rune weapons, but getting
over 40 attack will limit your effectivess. You might be tempted by getting 50
or maybe 60 attack, maybe thinking about being able to hit on rune, or making
your pure members, but if you end up fighting another pure who has 40 attack,
you will surely lose.

Number two is 1 defence. You don’t want defence, because it doesn’t increase
the amount of damage you can do to another player, or the amount of damage you
can take. It simply increases the chance somebody will hit a zero on you,
which doesn’t matter much.

Number three is 1 or 31 prayer. Just as you want 40 attack to be able to
access Rune weapons, you want a rounded off prayer level that will let you
access strength boosting prayers that will not overly affect your combat
level. One good way to figure out how much prayer you want is to calculate
your goal melee stats (using combat calcs on tip it, for example, to make sure
you have the correct HP) and then see how much each prayer level will affect
your combat level, and max hit. The prayer level that gives you the best ratio
of combat level to max hit is the best level to have. The reason you don’t
want 13 prayer, though it gives a 10% percent bonus after only 13 pray levels
(wheras it takes 31 levels to get a 15% bonus) is because it runs out very
quickly.

Magic, strength, and ranged are stats that are left up to you. There are two
ways to train magic (that matter). If you do damage while you train, you get
hp XP. If you use a non damaging spell like curse, you don’t. If you plan to
use magic for binding or fire blasts (65+mage needed for effective fbing,
though magic/melee is not covered in this guide), and want to keep your combat
low, you probably want to train it without gaining HP xp. Also, there is no
risk of accidentally gaining def xp with nondamaging spells. Ranged always
gives you HP xp, so decide whether you want to train it, and to what level. 40
Ranged allows you to wear dragonhide for faster training and is highly
recomended. At some point you may want to use ranged in the wilderness (76
range needed for steady 13s), but that will not be covered in this guide.

Training

1-20 Attack

Your outfit will be full iron (dragonhide chaps and vambs if you can wear),
amulet of power, cape, and SS boots. Fish or buy some food, and fill your
inventory with it. The food should heal at least 8 health. If you can, make or
buy pizza.

Go to the cows near the crafting guild, and world hop untill you find an empty
world. Kill cows untill you have 20 attack.

1-40 Strength

Same outfit, same inventory.

Go to the goblins in the stronghold of security. The large room just as you
enter is perfect. World hop untill you find a mostly empty world. Fight the
level 5 goblins at first, and then begin fighting the level 11s, and then the
13s. If you bring good food you can stay here a long time.

~20-40 Attack

Same Outfit, same inventory.

The goblins in the SS are still the fastest XP. Some people do everything up
to 40/40 on cows, I have tried this and I found the SS faster. The level 13
goblins are great xp, there are tons of them (and lvl 11 and 5 goblins) and
the edgeville bank is not far at all.

~40-70 Strength

Your outfit will be full iron (dragonhide chaps and vambs if you can wear),
amulet of strength, cape, and SS boots. Fish or buy some food, and fill your
inventory with it. The food should heal at least 12 health. If you can, make
or buy anchovy pizza. Bring a strength potion for every 10 strength levels
above 40 you are. So with 50 strength bring one strength pot, with 60 strength
bring two, with 70 bring three.

Go to the flesh crawlers in the stronghold of security, on the second level.
They are to the south, and there is a square room that holds many of them. Put
walk on, and simply stand in the room and they will attack you for around 15
minutes. If you are 50+ strength and are using pots, pot yourself once you are
3-5 levels below your maximum potted strength. Being constantly potted cuts
your training time by alot. Also, if you have prayer use your strength prayer
for a few seconds after you pot, then turn it off. It should last a long time
like this. You can recharge your pray at the monastary when your going to get
more food at edge.

The important thing about Flesh Crawlers that makes them great training is
that they only hit 1. With anchovy pizzas and strength potions you can get
amazingly fast strength levels here. When the flesh crawlers stop attacking
you, walk out into the stronghold untill you can no longer see the room on
your minimap, and then come back, and they will start attacking you again. If
you have potted recently before they stop attacking you, attack them yourself
by clicking untill your potted strength goes down. Don’t waste the pot!

~70-99 Strength

This is quite difficult with 40 attack and 1 defence, but it is possible. A
rotation through Guards, Flesh Crawlers, and Elemental Wizards is how I am
working on it. These are the best FTP monsters for upper level strength
training. Use the guards upstairs in the varrok castle or on an empty world at
edgeville, or at the dark knights fortress (an altar is next to alot of guards
here) remember to wear a coif, dragonhide chaps+vambs, and a wizard robe while
fighting the elemental wizards, and remember to pick up the uncut gems flesh
crawlers drop. Good luck! Always use great food (swordies/pizza) and strength
potions to level up faster. Always wear the best armour you can (full iron and
dhide). Once you get used to training you can watch TV or read a book while
gaining those hundreds of thousands of experience points. Take a break to make
strength potions, go pking, or train magic or ranged (see below).

~Magic
You can train magic before or after melee. It doesn’t matter. What does matter
is how you train it, and to what level, but you have already decided that.

If you are raising magic with curse/weaken/confuse, then wear full
iron+dragonhide vambs and chaps, and SS boots, and constantly cast the spell
on whatever monster will not hit you back (hard). For example, a monk. Or an
enemy over a river or behind a fence, like zombies in varrok sewer (on a
crowded world you can gain 1-50 magic in a few days if you have enough
bodies/waters. It’s very easy to raise magic this way and it does not need a
detailed explanation. Make sure you have both a earth and water staff for when
you have to switch spells. Also bring a little good food, just in case you get
a nasty random event or something, you don’t want to lose all your runes.

If you are training magic for HP xp as well as magic xp, then you should wear
a wizard robe, hat, a blue skirt (just looks cool), a magic amulet, and an
elemental staff (you should have all four with you for when you have to switch
spells). Attack the hobgoblins over the river near the crafting guild, with
the best spell you can use. Calculate out how many runes you need ahead of
time, and get them.

I don’t recommend using damaging spells to train pure magic (without gaining
hp), as its a waste of mind/chaos runes. Also, once you reach magic level 39,
the best way to train magic for HP is crumble undead. The best place to train
this is under the varrok sewers, across the water from the zombies.

~Ranged

Craft yourself ranged armour or buy some. You will want a cowl, leather body,
leather chaps, vambraces, later on a coif and studded chaps (these you will
have to buy), and a little later dragonhide chaps and vambraces (these you
have to buy as well, good prices in varrok world 1 Lowe’s store or champs
guild). An amulet of power is the best amulet for training ranged.

Kill some rats in the varrok sewers untill you have around level 10 ranged.
Get a few thousand bronze arrows and train your next 20 or 30 range levels on
the goblins in the stronghold of security. They drop bronze arrows
occasionally, and there is a large barrier to stand behind. If people take
your arrows hop to a less populated world. Always pick up your arrows, since
your enemies will contribute to your quiver.

Once you have 30-40 ranged, use iron arrows on the minotaurs in the stronghold
of security. Once you get 40 ranged you will be able to wear the best FTP
ranged outfit, and with iron arrows minotaurs are fast xp. Once again there is
a convient barrier to stand behind. Minotaurs drop iron arrows, so once again
it’s worth it to pick up your arrows. You can train at the minotaurs to 50-60
ranged.

Lesser Demons, BK fortress guards, and dark/normal wizards are all good
ranged xp and the demons and wiz’s are good drops as well. You can use bronze
arrows for the gaurds and wizards, but you can make your money back if you use
good arrows on the lesser demons once your range level is high.

~Prayer

The best way to train prayer effectively is to bury big bones in the Boneyard,
in the wilderness. There are two big bone spawns close together on the west
side of the Boneyard. In between them and around them are small bones. Bring
good food and your best armour, to train effectively on a pure I recommend 60+
strength though if you are wearing full dragon chaps+vambs+full iron and using
swordfish swordfish it’s easy with 50 strength as well. Bring a str pot and
you will get some PKs as well. The skeletons who gaurd the big bones stop
attacking after a few waves, so just fight them one at a time. Don’t leave the
area or the time will be reset untill they stop attacking. If you are playing
on an unpopulated world at night you can get to 31 pray in one night, as long
as you remember to do restless ghost before you start for an easy head start.

Player Killing

~Using Prayer

Prayer is often blasted as not being worth the combat levels it causes you to
gain. However, if you pk near to altars you can constantly use prayer to your
advantage, boosting your strength level, and avoid fights when you are
uncharged. If you are in a non multi combat area of the wilderness and in a
fight, do not use prayer right at the beginning of the fight. Don’t use a
strength potion or prayer for the first few hits. When you are about 10hp
higher than where you would usually eat, eat two swordfish and rapidly click
your strenght pot after the second swordfish click ultimate str pray on, and
then click attack on your opponant really fast. It takes practice. The str pot
will not cause you to “Eat” again, it will be part of the second swordfish
motion. You will healed 30 hp, so even if your opponant hits 20 20 you will
still have around 25hp.

If you are fighting somebody with defence, or if you just want to push your
advantage for a K0, use your attack boosting prayer. Use it to start a fight
off or to finish it, btu not when you have very low prayer. It’s better to
turn it off as you eat after a few hits. Try to develop a rythm of potting and
using the attack boosting prayer to push your advantage when you get a good
hit.

~Weapon Switching

There are many weapons in Runescape, most of them can be used in the
wilderness. The 2handed sword was once the most popular weapon in the
wilderness, and it is still widely used by skilled pkers, its the highest
hitting weapon in FTP Runescape. Effectively player killing relies on your
abliity to deal damage faster than enemy can heal. If your opponent is at 20
or below health (or slightly lower depending on your max R2H hit, you have to
feel this out yourself), switch to your runite claymore. Rapidly attack click
on your opponent a few times and then you can eat quickly, because your
opponent will be dead or will have safed up HP and you have to wait to hit
again anyway.

But the R2H and the sicmitar aren’t the only good weapons. A rune dagger is
extremely cheap and effective against opponents who use the R2H and scimmy
switch, and it’s fun to try rune long swords as well, which hit slightly
higher than scimitars and are slightly slower. A long sword and a R2H works
well, as does a short sword and R2H. A battleaxe works well by itself, it hits
surprisingly high and its obvious why Zamorak supports it has his favored
weapon.

Some other weapon switching techniques are luring somebody into not safing by
fighting with a low hitting weapon such as a mace, wcing axe, dagger, etc,
then switching to a R2H, batlteaxe, or longsword. Alot of rangers use the R2H
switch from shortbow, because it has the potential to do alot of damage very
fast.

~Using Strength pots and Eating

When you eat is important. Figure out about what your opponents max hit is,
from their combat level. After a few rounds I usually have a good idea of when
to eat. Sometimes you only have to eat one swordfish, sometimes you have to
eat two or three. You need to constantly viligant (lol) constantly watching
your HP and your opponents HP and right clicking on your enemy and attack
clicking them quickly after you eat. Use strength pots right after you eat,
rapidly clicking them after clicking your food. Don’t waste rounds of combat
walking around, but if you get fast you can type trash talk to your opponent
as you pk.

~Edge PKing

Edgeville is a great place to pk, because it is not multi combat, and it is
close to a bank and an altar. On some worlds there are many pures around the
monastary and low level edgeville wilderness who will be happy to teach you
how to pk, and relieve you of your items if you are not prepared. World 3 is
usually your best bet, though any of the low numbered FTP worlds will be full
if you log on during peak hours.

Because edgeville is not a multi combat zone, and you can run out of the
wilderness as you eat, you don’t have to bring teleport runes. Just remember
to leave a row of food for running. Many people die almost outside of the
wilderness, because they forgot to eat as they run or they forget to leave a
few food left over. As a rule of thumb, the deeper you are in the wilderness,
the more food you should leave in your inventory if you have to run from a
fight. And you will have to run from fights. Pures can’t compete with defense
as easily as they could in RSC, and many times you will run out of food before
the person in addy or rune you are fighting.

~Castle PKing

The castle is “The Dark Warriors Castle”, to the north of Edgeville. To the
southwest of the castle is a large coal mine full of skeletons. To the West is
a giant crater . To the north and west the wilderness stretches out in a large
multi combat zone. Directly north of the castle is the Bandit Village, where
you can make pizza or fight bandits. There isn’t much to the East of the
castle except dead trees.

The castle itself and a few squares around it to the east are multi-combat
zones. The only entrance to the castle is on the East side. Sometimes people
will try to lure you into this zone, where they may have a team waiting. It’s
a popular spot for pures of all types.

I recommend fighting people one on one in the single combat area east of the
entrance. Because you are in higher level wilderness, you can end up fighting
people 10-20 levels lower or higher to you around the castle. You have to take
risks to get good kills, but you also need to know when to run. If you are
overwhelmed by a team or a higher level, running south is often enough to make
pursuers give up. If they don’t abandon you for easier prey, run into the
skeleton mine and let one of the skeletons attack you instead of a rival pker.
Of course you can run all the way out of the wilderness, but if somebody is
hitting you the whole way you better have at least two rows of food.
Personally I don’t bring teleport runes to the castle. It’s not hard to
escape, and most people won’t waste the run energy chasing you far anyway.

If you want to change worlds, go upstairs in the castle (the closest tower is
the southwest one) or to the crater to the east, then log off. Never log on
and off at the front doors of the castle, for obvious reasons.

Sometimes a single pker can beat a team at the castle. It takes a little
practice, but if there is a team about 5-10 levels lower than you around the
castle, don’t be afraid to take them on. When two people are attacking you
from the same square, their HP bars can cover eachother up, and they may be
too intent on teaming on you to see themselves go red. Run out of the zone
when you eat (you should always have auto-retaliate off in the
wildy…situations like this it will get you killed quickly). Try to
concentrate on one person (again, the basic pking skills are important here,
such as rapid right click attacking).

If you can’t beat the team, try to take them on out of the zone. Run out, and
turn and attack the weakest/lowest HP teamer when you are about 1screen
away from the multicombat zone. It’s harder to not be lured back in if you are
fighting mages/rangers. Sometimes you have to accept defeat, even with a lower
level team. You have to conserve energy and food to escape, so don’t plan on
fighting a long time against multiple people at the castle.

~Varrok Pking

This is where people say to start off pking, but edgeville is a better spot to
start your career in ownage. Varrok is multicombat, and there are often teams.
It is located to the north east of the Varrok palace, north on the path that
the church is on. However, on the plus side, there are often many noobs
wandering around. Varrok is the only place in the wilderness I recommend
bringing teleport runes, as if you are in level 4 wilderness and 5+ people all
attack you at once, you have to tele or die. Even spamming on your swordfish
won’t help you if you get hit by 7 firebolts in 2 seconds.

Worldhop alot at varrok. On many worlds there are noobs scattered around for
the pickings, and though 9/10 they will escape, that 1/10 may have a
rune2hander and 300 chaos runes. Varrok is the best and worst of pking, there
are all kinds of pures and normal players, pile jumping happens all the time,
and you have to deal with it. I recommend you try varrok every once in a while
just in case you get lucky, but avoid it in general.

There are other spots than the ones I have named here, such as the Moss
Giants, Greater Demons, Rune Rocks, Chaos Altar, Hill Giants, etc. These
spots are better left to the aspiring high level or hardened and experienced
pker, or teams. The moss giants and rune rocks are good for solo players
whereas the greater demons and hill giants are popular teaming areas. They are
worth checking out however, and pking around these higher leveled areas
instead of directly at them may be a good choice for new pkers.

The best advice I can give you for pking in Runescape is to have fun. Be
prepared for your eventual death and having to work hard to get your stuff
back. If you really hate having to play the actual game to make money,
stockpile rune scimitars and strength amulets before heading out. Good luck.

RS, RUNESCAPE

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized
Runescape 2 or RS2 is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that was developed by Jagex, a United Kingdom company, in 2001. RS has both free-to-play (F2P) and pay-to-pay (P2P) accounts. With over a million P2P accounts and over 9 millions F2P accounts, RS is considered to be one of the most popular online games in the world. In December 2003 Runescape was also named as one of the fastest growing MMORP game.

RS takes place in the world of Gielinor which is divided into unclaimed regions, numerous islands and kingdoms called Kingdom of Asgarnia Kingdom of Kandarin, Kingdom of Misthalin, Al Kharid and the Kharidian Desert, Morytania, Southern and Northern seas, and the Wilderness. Each kingdom has different Runescape quests, monsters, and loot. RS2 characters can travel through these areas by running, walking, teleporting, or with NPC operated vehicles.

In Runescape there is no designated path that players must follow. Instead players set their own goals and deicide for themselves what activities to engage in. They can wander around and partake in RS quests, challenge other players and monsters in combat, and increase skills by performing skill related tasks. Some trainable skills are Runescape fishing, mining, crafting, runecrafting, construction, hunting, and thieving. Players can also chat with and interact with other gamers from all over the world through trading and playing mini-gamers.

By completing Runescape quests, players can receive rewards such as quest points, coins, items, new spell books for magic skills, an increase in skill experience, and gain access to a new region. Quests are divided into four different groups depending on the level of difficulty and requirements: novice quests for beginner players, intermediate quests to add some challenge to the game, and more difficult experienced and master quests for experienced players.

Runescape Chat Effects

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Did you know that you could change the colors and add animations or effects to your text? I’m sure you have seen someone do this at some point in the game. A lot of times, people use this tip to draw attention to things they are selling. In any of these colors, animations, or effects, they code always goes before the message.

First, I will name the colors I know.
» Red
» Cyan
» Purple
» White
» Green
» Purple

An example would be; “red: Zammy owns you!!!” or “cyan: Saradomin Pwns you!!!”. Now I will name the effects and what they do.

Runescape Chat

glow1: Text fades red to blue.
glow2: Text fades red to purple to blue.
glow3: Text fades white to green to blue.
flash1: Text cycles red to yellow quickly.
flash2: Text cycles blue to cyan quickly.
flash3: Text cycles green to light green quickly.

Now I will name the animations;

Slide: Text slides from top to bottom.
scroll: Text scrolls right to left.
shake: Text shakes up and down.
wave: Text waves up and down.
wave2: Text waves slowly from left to right.

Runescape Chat 2

You could mix these together and get many different colors. Some examples would be;

Cyan: scroll: <>< <>< <>< Fishie! <>< <>< <><
Green: wave: ~~~~~~OCEAN! ~~~~~
flash3: slide: bsell 100K for all!

You can have a lot of fun with these Runescape Chat Effects. If you’re bored fishing, then why not try the first or second example I put there. It gets everyone pumped up and ready to fish more! Using it for selling is also a good trick. If you have 40 people there, typing all yellow text and you put red: Selling full rune! You’re going to get noticed. The idea with selling is to get the word out, and if you use a red text in an ocean of yellow, which is going to get read first, all the yellow, or the red words? The red ones of course.

Runescape Chat 3

I really like the scroll: animation. You can do quite a few things with it. I will name some of my favorite things for it.

The animation scroll: makes the words scroll across the screen going from left to right. Therefore, if you make things face that way, it looks like they are walking, swimming, or flying.

If you fishing, of course making a big long stream of <>< can be fun. Something like this:

<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

I like to leave a little space so that it has one last fish trailing behind the group.

I also like to make what looks like Kirby. There are many you could make of him, so let me show you them.

< (^. ^<) (>^. ^<) < (^. ^)> (>^. ^)> These are the most common. Therefore, if you were to take the first one and add some words you would get something like this:

< (^. ^<) ~KIRBY! ~

This would scroll across the screen and look awesome. There are a lot of little things you can make using text, and far too many to name. Some of the more common ones are; =), :) , = (, :( , and so on. As I said, I could spend loads of hours here writing all the faces you can make using the = and : signs.

Runescape Chat 4

Now that you have a basic idea of chat colors, effects, animations, and a few emotions, why not go out and try them? Who knows, you might even invent some of your own!

Happy Playing!

How to Get the Skull Scepter in RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

The Skull Scepter, also known as the Skull Sceptre, is a very valuable item in Runescape. It allows you to teleport to Barbarian Village five times, and many people do not have it! Here’s how to get the Skull Scepter!

  1. Create an Account in RuneScape if you do not already have one.
  2. Train your account to at least a combat level of 60. You must be able to kill level 75 ankous.

Right Skull Half

  1. Stock up on food. You will need it unless you are a very High level player. (Combat Level 110+)
  2. Go to Barbarian Village.
  3. Look at the center of the Village. There will be a hole there.
  4. Click on the hole and you character will walk to it and climb down. You will come to a dark cave with a pair of doors and a portal at the South East corner. Welcome to the Stronghold of Security!
  5. Click on the first door and you will pass through. The second door though, will ask you a question regarding Player Security.
  6. Answer the Question correctly to pass through. If you get it wrong, it will keep asking you questions until you get one right. There will be doors like these everywhere in the Stronghold of Security.
  7. Go down until you see another door. Do not pass through this door.
  8. Look for the pair of doors to the right of your character (or left if your character is facing South).
  9. Go through the doors. You will see some level 12 minotaurs. Kill them until you get the Right Skull Half.

Bottom of Scepter

  1. Go back to the start and use the portal there if you can use it. If not, follow the instructions below.
  2. Go through the Doors to the North.
  3. Walk to the other side of the room you come into. Go through those doors.
  4. Walk North East until you see more doors. Go through those doors.
  5. Walk to the Southern Doors. Go through them. You will come to the treasure room. If you search the Gift of Peace at the center, you will receive 2,000 coins and the ability to do the Flap emote.
  6. Go down the ladder on the West side of the room. You will come to the second level of the Stronghold of Security. There will be another portal in the South West Corner.
  7. Go through the doors on the West side of the room.
  8. Go south, but do not go through the doors. There will be Flesh Crawlers there.
  9. Kill Flesh Crawlers until they drop the Bottom of Scepter.

Top of Scepter

  1. Go back to the portal and use it if you can use it. If not, follow these instructions.
  2. Go through the North West doors.
  3. Walk West until you see another pair of doors. Go through them.
  4. Walk West again after you go through the previous doors until you see more doors. Go through those doors.
  5. Keep Walking West until you come to a room with zombies.
  6. Start Walking South. Keep Following the path until you find a pair of doors. Go through them.
  7. Go through the doors to your Right. This will take you to the Treasure Room on the Second Level.
  8. Search the Grain of Plenty at the center of the room if you would like 3,000 coins and the Slap Head emote.
  9. Go down the ladder in the South West corner. This will take you to level three of the Stronghold of Security. You will arrive in a green room with a portal in the North West corner.
  10. Walk through the doors to the North.
  11. Go through the doors to your immediate Left after that. This will take you to a room full of Catablepons and Giant Spiders.
  12. Walk to the South of the room. The Catablepons will be there. Kill Catablepons until they drop the Top of Scepter. The Catablepons will use Weakening spells on you. You might want to bring Strength Potions.

Left Skull Half

  1. Go back to the start of Floor Three and use the portal if you can use it. If not, read the following steps.
  2. Go through the doors to the East.
  3. Go through the doors to the immediate North, not the North East ones.
  4. Walk through the doors to the North West of the room you come into. Go through the pair of doors right after the pair you just went through.
  5. Follow the path and go into the Treasure room of Floor Three.
  6. Search the Box of Health at the center if you would like 5,000 coins and the Idea emote.
  7. Go down the ladder at the North East Corner. This will take you to the Fourth and final floor of the Stronghold of Security. The portal is at the South East corner of the room.
  8. Go through the North doors and walk North West until the first pair of doors you see. Go through those doors. There will be level 75 Ankous waiting for you.
  9. Kill Ankous until they drop the Left Skull Half.

Making The Skull Scepter

  1. Take the Right Skull Half and the Left Skull Half and use them on each other. This will create the Strange Skull.
  2. Take the Bottom of Scepter and the Top of Scepter you got from the Flesh Crawlers and use them on each other. This will create the Runed Scepter.
  3. Take the Strange Skull and the Runed Scepter and use them on each other. Congratulations! You have gotten the Skull Scepter!
  • Deposit your peices of the Scepter in the bank after you get them. That way, in case you die, you won’t have to start over from scratch.
  • Restock on food when you run out of food killing monsters.
  • On the First level in the Starting room, there will be a Dead Explorer in the South part of the room. Search the Dead explorer and you will find the Stronghold Notes. This is a book that tells about the Stronghold of Security.
  • You might want to bring Strength Potions with you on the Catablepon part, as they use Weakening spells, which lower your strength level.
  • To open the Gift of Peace,Grain of Plenty, and Box of Health, you need to set recovery questions.
  • If you have been spending a long time to get the sceptre and you want to keep the sceptre. Then i suggest you don’t press the invoke option unless you want to teleport to barbarian village. You can teleport to barbarian village 5 times. To check how much more times you can teleport click the divine option.

Do not bring High Value items with you while getting the Skull Scepter. You might die and lose your items! (Examples of High Value Items: Trimmed Armor, Partyhats, Santa Hats etc.) You can bring armor that is 200,000 coins or below though. If you do die. Try to get there as fast as possible, due to the gravestone update. If you wish: you might want to upgrade your gravestone to the best one as possible.
