Runescape, a great game. Millions of people play every day and at the end of the day, everyone enjoys this. There are many arguments about how old you need to be to play Runescape, but all you need to play it is to know how to use a computer. When you start up on Runescape, there is much to do and if you don’t know how to do it, then Runescape NPC’s tell you how. There are only a few reason on why children shouldn’t go on Runescape and I’ll clear them up in this argument.

Firstly, people being rude on Runescape. If a child (say 8 years old for this case) went onto Runescape and saw someone swear on Runescape, it would be good for the child. This is because they don’t learn about any swear words because ALL swear words and any rude words are blocked with the * function. Also, this would be good because they learn about the world around them and how some people are not as nice as others and they will learn about who to make friends with and who not to. Also, children are honest to people. This means that if they see somebody bullying somebody else, they would report it instead of so called ‘cool’ people who find it better to join in. Therefore, in one sense, children would be making Runescape better for children to play on.

The next reason, violence and fighting. I would stop children going onto Runescape if there was blood and gore on the screen while fighting on Runescape, but there isn’t. All that happens when you fight is that you get a number on how many hit-points you took off your opponent. People may argue that because there is fighting in it, children shouldn’t be allowed to play it at all. One day though, they’re going to find out about fighting and what it’s all about. Why can’t it be the day when they go onto Runescape? If violence isn’t the child’s thing, then there is plenty of other things that he/she can do to entertain themselves. For example, the could go fishing or woodcutting. So why should they not be allowed onto the Runescape game?

Finally, children might not understand the concept about Runescape and what you’re meant to do on it. They might not really know what the point in an RPG game is but that doesn’t matter. If they don’t get what the point in Runescape (one of the best MMORPGs ever) then they’ll just stop playing.

In conclusion, I think that children should be allowed to go onto Runescape, but they should be at least into their first year in Primary School so they have friends already so they know which friends to make on Runescape and which people not to make friends with. Also, if they are this age, then they won’t release personal information about themselves.

There are many ways to make money on Runescape, from making bars to player killing. The only thing that stands between you and the money is “you”. The only way to receive the money is by building a skill in which you like, the area that you like, and the amount you need to collect. Without these three, this equation or article would have not existed. So by now you must have questions like, “How do I build a skill?” or “where do I begin? Well you should begin with the basics, the equipment.

Would you go to the wilderness without a sword? When building a skill, if you do not have the equipment you are nothing. If you like woodcutting: keep an axe, mining: always keep a pickaxe, smithing: you need ores and a furnace, and fighting: your sword is your best friend. (This will not go over fighting skills; I will soon write a paper for that and how to train fast if you are a non member.)

The first skill that is in the list of nonmember skills is woodcutting. This skill is one of the only skills that gain experience quickly and easily. The trees that you can chop depend on you level, and the cost of the logs depend on how rare the tree. If the logs are rare you get the more money you will get. If you are a level 1(tree) woodcutter the best place to start is at the grand exchange, where are a lot of trees for beginners. Also you may sell the logs or bank them for another use. For level 10- 20 (dead tree and oak) woodcutters, cut oaks in Falador and use the bank at your advantage. To the south there will be two oak logs cut them and bank them, it is easy and I found it affective for me. For level 30-60 woodcutters (willows) there are two choices you may make, bank for sell or drop for experience. If you want to sell go to Draynor village to cut willows to bank them, if you want to chop and drop go to Lumbridge and cut at one willow tree. To do the chop and drop method, you must avoid getting your inventory full. The solution for this is when the tree is gone drop as much as you can before the willow reappears. For level 60 (yews) the best place to cut yews if you just reached this level is Port Sarium. You cannot miss it there is one yew tree, best place for any level woodcutting; to make this less of a hassle you need to be able to teleport to Verrock. The closest bank for the yew tree close to Port sarium is in Draynor Village. You may run back and forth or just walk; it takes a while for the tree to respawn. Another area that has 4 yew trees is at Remington;

This rich billionaire guide is the best F2P guide I’ve ever done. How hard can it be? Well, making a few mill a week it is actually very easy if you follow these easy steps. In my last article, I’ve done steel bar, great orb project, cowhides but this is going to be much more.

1. YEW LOGS ! Note: This is for 60 Woodcutting, but I recommend 65-80 WC for faster money.

Well, for Yew logs all you have to do is to go to Edgeville (if you don’t know where this is, then ask a friend or a Runescape person.) Well. once you’re there, you should go south until the broken house or if you see 2 yew trees. Well, simply get your rune axe and chop the yews. The bank is really close and Yews spawn quite fast ,so this will be lots of money bout 200k an hr. Let me sum it up.

*Go to Edgeville.

*Find the Yew trees and chop them.

*Bank them and after you get 100 or 1000 sell in Ge.

2. Rune essences Note: This is for 1-99 mining 20 mining is perfect for easier and faster money or and you also have to complete rune mysteries.

Well, Rune essence is east of Varrock and if you don’t know where this is, ask a friend or a person. Aubury is the person you need for the teleporting; all you simply need to do is to get a pickaxe and start to mine rune essences. Well, let me sum it up.

*North or east Varrock.

*Go to bank and teleport with Albert.

*Massive white rock just mine and get full inventory.

*Exit through the portal and bank.

3. Iron Ore Note: This is for 15 mining, but more is recommended for faster money and a high combat level for scorpions.

Go to Falador, in the undergrounds and mine iron ore; then, just bank. Do this lots of times and 1000 of them - I believe - is 250k and that is a lot ! OK, let me sum this up good and proper.

*Go to Falador

*Go to underground (if you don’t know where this is ask a friend or a person)

*Mine Iron ore and collect 1000 or more

*Sell in Ge

Well there you have it; 3 simple ways of making massive amounts of runescape money. I am quite tired, so I’ll stop…. but I’ll be making more so stay tuned in for more f2p money making guides!

Why do you play Runescape? Is it in your mind? Is it just there for you? Well i think i know why lots of people love to play Runescape.

Controls: Its Simple, Easy and fun. All you do is mouse click that’s all it needs a mouse click most mmorpgs are very hard and takes so much controls at once at that is very tricky but runescape Just A CLICK! isn’t that impressive!

Size: Lots and Lots of boring mmorpgs are 500Mb-3GB Now i don’t know Laptops but that is ALOT. It must take like 5 hours to download before you play the game well runescape takes about 5 minutes and is much better than most of them 3GB mmorpg games there are out there.
So Runescape is an small size file to play and easy controls but theres more!

Skills: most games don’t even work on skills but 75% of runescape is Skills they clever and very easy Woodcutting,Mining, fishing lots more to work for and even when you get 99 you get an awesome skill cape. Now 99 is determination and you can say to people “ha ha i got 99 and you got 50!” “hahahahha” Skills also gets you rich and you can “show off” with your armour

Money: this is where people start to dribble lots of people are rich and show off if you want to be one of them look at my detailed guides on how to be rich and there is f2p so don’t worry about f2p money making guides well Money is easy and simple up to 200k pr hr in f2p and 1mill in p2p. money is the best thing ever you could get up to awesome robes to gold armour now i would be nagging that guy for money.

Friends: lots of people play this and they say to them friends “why don’t you play runescape its fun easy there’s skills and money and duels” well then runescape gets bigger and bigger more than 130million have registered and 127 thousand are online at this very moment and that’s impressive for an game they even have a Guinness world record. If you have an friend you can play harder and invite them for some chatting, slaying, mining, skills anything or even a party ! friends help you grow more determination to show off to them and get 99 to say “ha ha”

Monster killing: monsters are easy to kill in Runescape but some are legendary and are brutal and no mercy if you follow my money guide and get good armour and beat these “so called monsters” you get rich and if your lucky you could get rare items that cost a fortune !

Quests: Another brutal thing for Runescape quests some give you imaginary skills, items magic spells and some even secret places now that is awesome ! Hard quests recommend a good level but easy quests are what your looking at.

Well that’s like everything to runescape. Theres so many things. That I can’t count. This is the future of Mmorpgs. All of these awesome things most mmorpg are just killing and quest but I believe that Runescape is yet to come !

There are in fact a lot of ways to make money on Runescape as a F2P account, but many of them are time-consuming to be able to start doing, below I’ve listed skills and tactics to be able to make runescape money.

Combat

Fighting high level enemies means you can get high value drop, my personal favourite is the cockroach soldier in the stronghold of security, but I recommend being around level 70 with food. Cockroach soldiers drop quite a few rune items which are worth a fair amount, e.g. Rune scimitars which sell for around 35k on the Grand Exchange.

Other good enemies to kill are Lesser Demons (Found on Karamja), which occasionally drop Rune med helms which give around 10k with high alchemy, Ankou (Found in stronghold of security) and Greater Demons (Found in deep wilderness). Another weaker alternative is to kill Hill Giants, which always drops big bones which can be collected and sold for quite a lot of money.

I would highly recommend Cockroach Soldiers though but you need to be a high level to kill them.

Mining

This is a very profitable skill, especially when you reach coal or better yet, level 60 mining which allows you entry to the mining guild which also has 5 mithril ore deposits which can also be mined for profit. This becomes even more profitable after reaching adamantite ore and it sky-rockets once you reach runite ore which sells for around 12k each. Sadly the only place to mine runite ore is deep into the wilderness and there is only one rock, so many miners world hop because it takes a long time to respawn.

Smithing

This is profitable at most levels as long as you’ve mined the ores yourself, otherwise at low levels isn’t very profitable. At higher levels it becomes much more profitable and again, reaching rune will definitely help you as many items are still in heavy demand.

A good tactic I’ve been using lately to make upwards of 200k an hour is to buy nature runes, mithril and coal ores on the Grand Exchange and with a fire staff, use superheat item (requires magic level 43) and make mithril bars, this provides an easy profit whilst also gaining you both smithing and magic experience.

Fishing

I personally find it very hard to make a profit whilst fishing but it is easily achievable by selling lobsters (cooked or raw) and swordfish (again cooked or raw), this is rather time consuming but is best done on Karamja. Personally I sell them raw as it saves time and reduces the risk of burning a fish and therefore not being able

to sell it.

Cooking

A good method for this is to get level 55 cooking and buying plain pizzas and anchovies off the grand exchange and then using them to make anchovy pizzas which sell to make an easy profit on the grand exchange. This is a fast method to make money without having to do much at all.

If you need to get your cooking level up, a good method is to buy raw trout in bulk from the grand exchange, and then cook them to get cooking experience, when you sell them back you make a very small loss, around 1-2 gold for each trout but this money is made back easily by making anchovy pizzas.

Magic

(Look at smelting for tips on how to use superheat item for profit.)

Another method is to use telekinetic grab (telegrab) (which requires magic level 33) on the Wine of Zamorak found north of Falador, the best way to do this is with a staff of air and 28 law runes, when you have 27 wines, drop one and use telegrab then you should have no law runes and should be able to pick up the one you dropped on the floor.

To level magic quickly, get rune essence (either buy it or mine it) and login to world 16 and go to the air altar and find someone to assist you who can do 6x air runes (the higher the better), buy a fire staff and collect mind runes from Lumbridge castle and finally auto-cast fire strike on the lesser demon in the Mage Tower for easy experience.

Runecrafting

This only becomes profitable after level 44 when you can get 5x air runes, buy (or mine) rune essence and take it to the Grand Exchange, then just make continuous runs from Varrock West Bank to the air altar and get a lot of air runes and sell them back on the Grand Exchange.

If you don’t want to spend so long on getting a high runecrafting, then be a runner instead, go on to world 16 and go to the air altar and find someone to assist you who can do 6x air runes (the higher the better) and simply sell the air runes.

Woodcutting

Train until you can cut down yew logs, this takes a long time but can yield high profits, so stick with it as it is usually worth it – that’s all there is to woodcutting really.

Other Tips

When buying and selling, make sure you log how much you buy and for what prices. It’s very easy to make a loss when you’re not watching prices properly and it can be very hard to make back the money you lose.

Always look for a bargain, if someone offers you a good trade, take it and then sell the item for its normal price, it’s easy to tell if you are getting a good deal by looking at the wealth meter during trades or by looking at an items grand exchange price.

Introduction
Please refer to the general God Wars guide for the basic mechanics of God Wars Dungeon. The Leader of Saradomin’s force, Commander Zilyana, although the second lowest levelled of the God Wars bosses and the smallest physically, is widely considered by players to be the deadliest. Her max hit is the lowest of any of the bosses as well, a mere 310 with either melee or magic. However, her attacks are much faster than the other bosses and she can “charge” up her attacks so that several can hit at once. Her attacks are also very accurate. Prized drops from Commander Zilyana and her minions include Saradomin’s Godsword hilt, Godsword shards, and the Saradomin Sword. To enter Saradomin’s Encampment you will need Level 70 Agility and two pieces of rope (only the first time you go, so it is recommended to make a trip specifically to place these). There are many items which will render Saradomin’s minions outside the boss room unaggressive: these include Saradomin blessed Treasure Trails armour, a Saradomin god cape, holy symbol, and many others. If using the Trollheim teleport to arrive at the dungeon, use this strategy to keep a full inventory: Teleport to Trollheim, drop 2 food items, teleport back to a bank, get 2 more of the items dropped, and then teleport back to Trollheim. You should now have a full inventory.

Strategy
A player cannot stand before either Zilyana’s melee and magic. Since the magic is long-ranged, there is no way to escape it without praying protection from it, and the only way to avoid melee while praying magic is to be outside of melee range. The method to use is made clear once you consider that Zilyana is tiny physically compared to the other monstrous bosses, and that the Saradomin boss room is larger than the others. The best way to fight is by ranging. Using melee is risky and you will take much more damage, especially in smaller teams. Your team should spread out as much as they can and range Zilyana. If she comes toward you trying to melee, run away in the opposite direction, and if she continues to follow, run around, hugging the walls. You may have to run around the room several times. If possible, take a few shots at each corner, but don’t let her catch up to you! You MUST bring a form of energy restoration: your two choices are Purple Sweets from Treasure Trails, or the much better choice of using a Spirit Terrorbird familiar with scrolls. Sweets can get very expensive: it’s very possible to chew through over a hundred per trip. If you fight Zilyana properly, you should only take damage from ranged, so you should try to emphasize that defence stat, while keeping a good ranged attack bonus. After killing Zilyana, every minion will focus on one player. This player should run to the very south wall, causing Bree to refocus on another player, who should pray range. Meanwhile, the rest of the team should run to the North Wall, and kill Bree, then Starlight, and finally Growler.

You will need a Zamorak and Saradomin item for killcount. The best spot to get killcount is by killing any Saradomin follower, such as Mages, Warriors, Priests, etc in the main area near the entrance. Many of these will be in combat, making them easy to kill without taking damage or needing to pray. You can also get killcount in the Encampment, but there are fewer monsters available.

Recommended Levels:

80 ranged
75+ defence
52 summoning
60 prayer (70 strongly recommended)
70 agility (required)
Keep in mind that these are suggested minimum levels. You can kill Commander Zilyana with lower levels, but you will perform much better with higher levels, and it is also much easier to find a group with higher stats. In a larger group, you can get away with lower stats. Having 70 prayer to bless teammates graves, as well as for piety, is highly recommended. Having 52 summoning for a spirit terrorbird to carry extra supplies and to recover run energy is virtually mandatory, without one you will incur large expenses on Purple Sweets. Your familiar will follow you to the other side of the rope. Zilyana’s melee attacks are very damaging, and overall, you can get more kills ranging with less risk. Therefore, ranging Zilyana is recommended. Maging is ineffective against all God Wars Dungeon bosses. A Zamorak Godsword’s special is very helpful in order to freeze Zilyana temporarily.

Equipment
Recommended equipment:
Note: Items are listed from the best to the worst

Weapon: Rune Crossbow
Helmet: Verac’s Helm > Torag’s Helm
Amulet: Fury > Glory > Zamorak/Saradomin Stole* >Holy/Unholy Symbol*
Body: Armadyl Chestplate > Zamorak/Saradomin Blessed Dragonhide*
Legs:Verac’s Plateskirt > Torag’s Platelegs
Shield: Dragonfire Shield > Full Crystal Shield > Dragon Sq Shield
Cape: Ava’s accumulator
Boots: Ranger > Snakeskin
Gloves: Barrows Gloves > God Blessed Bracers*

*Note: Starred items are Zamorak/Saradomin items that will protect you from his minions outside the boss room. Having one of each is NECESSARY.

Recommended Inventory
Terrorbird Scrolls(at least 100)
Teleport
11 Super Restores
13 Saradomin Brews
Two Ranging Potions

Summon a Terrorbird before leaving. Your terrorbird should hold:

Three Terrorbird Pouches
Four Super Restores
Five Saradomin Brews

Solo
Soloing Saradomin has both drawbacks and benefits over teams. It’s much easier to start a trip, and you get to keep all your drops yourself, although your trips are much shorter, and usually more expensive. There are also higher requirements, as well as being more dangerous as you cannot rely upon your team to bless your grave.

90 ranged
90 defence
52 summoning
70 prayer
70 agility (required)
The strategy is somewhat similar to being in a team, but certain aspects are different. Since Zilyana will ALWAYS be focused on you, you must be constantly running: she cannot be allowed to melee you! You will still range her while praying magic. As soon as you enter, start running around the edges of the room. At each corner, you should be able to take one or two shots. Using the accurate style is recommended, as the timing is better and you get more accuracy on your few available shots. You should still use enchanted diamond bolts. A Zamorak Godsword’s special is still very helpful. The recommended equipment is the same.

Lootshare
While fighting as a team in this multicombat area, use the LootShare chat system to ensure honest reporting of monster drops. Not only will this system report your team’s drops for everybody within the chat (with at least the minimum set rank), but will also increase each individual’s chances of getting drops, as opposed to drops being limited to only one or a few individuals who consistently do the most damage.

To have a chance at the drops from the LootShare system, you must be within 16 squares of the killed monster, also make sure that your rank is set high enough to have a chance for team drops if you are in a team using LootShare.

If the Clan Chat owner has the Coinshare option enabled, all those entitled to recieve lootshare drops will have it activated. Coinshare is only applied to certain drops. The drop will be converted to coins and all lootshare members will receive an equal split if Commander Zilyana or any of her minions drop any of these items:

Godsword shard 1, 2, or 3
Saradomin Sword
Saradomin Hilt
Dragon Med Helm
Dragon Spear
Shield Left Half (dragon)
Please refer to our New Members P2P guide for a listing of all worlds the Lootshare system is enabled upon. Note that worlds can change frequently and Jagex’s world select page should be your point of reference for Lootshare worlds.

Conclusion
Both in a team and alone, you can usually obtain more kills per trip than Armadyl, the other boss requiring ranging, because if done properly you will suffer much less damage. That said, killing Zilyana is different than most other Runescape bosses, and is often considered more difficult to learn. The drops from Saradomin Godwars are also highly valued by players. This boss has the highest requirements to team out of all God Wars bosses, but can be performed solo at lower levels than Armadyl. Kill count will usually take longer than the other bosses. Please note that this is an introduction for newcomers: this is just one of the multitude of strategies applicable in God Wars. Good Luck!

This area has been rated as EXTREMELY HIGH-RISK. You should never attempt to fight the Kalphite Queen with items you are not willing to risk losing, and while in her chamber you should expect your death as a possibility at all times.

Overview
The Kalphite Queen (level 333) has two forms, each using different protection prayers. In both forms she will attack with all three attack types of combat and can hit over 300 with all of them. She is a formidible opponent, so to fight her you will need to be well prepared. If you succeed in defeating both forms of the Kalphite Queen, the rewards for killing her can be well worth the fight. Also, she sometimes drops a nice surprise; her head! The KQ head can be mounted as a trophy in your player-owned house using the Construction skill.

While fighting the Kalphite Queen, you will be in a multicombat area in which you will be attacked by her royal highness as well as level 141 Kalphite Guardians that have the ability to poison you.

It is possible to fight the Kalphite Queen on your own, but this requires very high levels and great risk (if you die no one will be there to bless or repair your gravestone). You are probably better off fighting the Kalphite Queen with a group of two (or more) high level characters.

Recommendations

Solo:

At least level 110+ combat with high defence
Full Veracs barrows armour (preferred) or high magic/range
Super sets, prayer potions, sharks (see equipment below)
A summoning familiar such as a Beast of Burden or a high level combat familiar.

Group:
Preferably two level 100+ combat
Both characters with Full Veracs or high magic/range
Super sets, prayer potions, sharks (see equipment below)
Preparing for Battle
In order to fight the Kalphite Queen, you will need to decide whether you are going to take a group or go it alone. If you fight the Queen by yourself you get to keep all the rewards, but also have a much greater risk of losing your items. Alternately, if you fight in a group you have a high chance of defeating the Queen and much lower risk of permanently losing your items. If you are serious about Kalphite Queen killing, Veracs is a wise investment.

Solo:
To fight the Kalphite Queen on your own, Veracs is not only strongly recommended, but almost absolutely necessary. It is very hard to consistently hit the Queen without it. To solo the queen refer to the Higher Risk Melee Equipment or Slayer Task Equipment below. When going solo, it is likely that you will need to make more than one trip in order to kill the Kalphite Queen, since she will only be attacking you. Using a summoning familiar helps extraordinary here, as the possibility of using either a beast of burden to carry extra sharks for you or a combat familiar to deal extra damage makes it much easier to deal with the Queen.

Group:
This guide will focus mainly on using two people to kill the Queen Kalphite, but the same strategy applies to more than two people. Of course, everyone having Veracs/Slayer Task is recommended, but not required. Below are pictures of the recommended equipment configurations. They are the same whether in group or solo, and will be explained in the Strategies and Tactics section.

Whether going in a group or going solo, you or your team must have the following items just to GET to the Kalphite Queen:

1 Shantay pass per person (or fairy staff for fairy rings)
2 ropes per group; if ropes have not been added all ready.
Equipment
Lower Risk Equipment

This setup is not nearly as good as using Veracs, but will emphasize maximizing your range and melee defence. Without Veracs armour, you will need to bring range supplies for effectively killing the second form of the Kalphite Queen.

Higher Risk Equipment

Veracs is truly the armour of choice for killing the Kalphite Queen. Using it will allow you to attack both first and second form, while providing a nice prayer bonus that lets you focus more on attacking and less on potting!
Slayer Task Equipment

The Kalphite Queen’s prayers are not like a normal player’s. Instead of lowering damage or completely blocking styles, they simply radically increase her defence towards those types of attacks. Therefore, with enough high bonuses, she can be fought using only one style, and not making use of Verac’s armour. With the advent of the Godsword, in conjunction with a slayer task of Kalphites (necessitating the use of a black mask or slayer helm), it is now possible to achieve bonuses that can be as or even more effective against the Queen than Verac’s. This style also requires relatively high risk.

Note: These pictures are intended for trips of 2 or more. Remember that if you are going solo that you must take TWO ropes if you have not added rope all ready, and likewise if in a larger group, you only need 2 people to take a rope. (usually the 2 highest levels since they can spare the inventory)

Further Note: Ring of Life is not recommended, since the Kalphite Queen hits very high and you are more likely to get killed from higher LP than to be low enough for the teleport away. You can use it, but don’t rely on it

Getting to Kalphite Queen
To get to the Kalphite Queen you and your team need to meet at the Shantay Pass bank, south of Al Kharid. If everyone in your group has unlocked the fairy rings from the Fairy Tale Part II quest, then using the Zanaris bank and fairy ring teleport BIQ will save you time and will eliminate the shanty pass. From either bank you can gather all your supplies and devise your plan of attack. When you are all ready, go through the Shantay Pass or teleport through the rings and head west. You will reach a well. If one of your members has not added rope all ready, one will need to be added, and then you can all go down into the Kalphite Dungeon.

Right before entering the second level and fighting the Queen you should drink a super set, turn on your prayer, and make any last minute preparations. The ideal location for this is shown as the “Potion Stop” on the map. Run past the Kalphite Guardians, and if a member has not added rope to the shaft all ready, one will need to be added to enter. the Queen’s Chamber. To reiterate, you MUST turn on your prayers before entering the room to ensure your protection. The Kalphite Queen can roam the room and may be near the rope where you enter!

Note: Some players wishing to take more food can choose to drink their super sets in the bank right when the team is going to head to the Kalphite Queen, and replace the pots with 3 more sharks. While this can grant you more space, you will have less of a stats bonus when facing the Kalphite Queen.

The Monsters
In case you were wondering what monsters you will be facing on your way to the Kalphite Queen as well as in the second dungeon, here is a list. Most of the monsters will be capable of poisoning you, but most likely will not until you are about to face the Kalphite Queen (see Strategies and Tactics for why we recommend taking a normal anti-poison instead of super anti-poison). For a list of drops see the Rewards section below.

Kalphite Monsters
Kalphite Worker (Level 28)
The Kalphite Workers are little threat. They can not poison you, but the Queen will summon them in large quantities during the fight.
Kalphite Soldier (Level 85)
The Kalphite Soldier can be found in the first tunnel. It is aggressive and can poison you.
Kalphite Guardian (Level 141)
The Kalphite Guardian can be found in deep in the first tunnel as well as in the Queen’s Chamber. It is aggressive, can poison you, and hits fairly hard. You should RUN past these.
Kalphite Queen (Level 333)
This is what you are here for. She can hit over 30 with all three types of attacks (melee, magic, and ranged) and will put up a hard fight in both of her forms.

Strategies and Tactics
Right before entering the final cave turn on your prayers. It’s recommended that you use protect from magic, since that is what will hit you the hardest. If you have a high prayer level (or if you have multiple prayer pots) you are best off using protect from magic, protect item, and your best boost prayer(s)(preferably piety-see below). If your prayer is not that high, then just use protect from magic and possibly protect item. Remember: Your prayer is almost as vital as your LP, if you run out of prayer you risk getting hit by all three forms of attack.

The best way to fight the Queen is for you and your partner(s) to spread out as evenly as possible so that the Queen must turn to attack you. If there are two of you, follow the picture below so that the Queen must turn 180 degrees between every melee or ranged attack. This will make the queen spend more time moving and less time attacking, making it easier to fight her without focusing on eating as much.

Once you get in this position, if a Kalphite Guardian is chasing you, tell your teammate to switch spots with you. This will cause the Kalphite Guardian to be out of reach, and should minimize the damage you take. Also, if you were poisoned by a Kalphite Guardian, use your anti-poison quickly! Odds are very small that you will need more than one dose per trip, which is why it is not recommended to use super anti-poisons.

First Form

To attempt a quick defeat of the Kalphite Queen’s first form, have at least one player in the group use a Dragon Dagger (p++), and those wanting to attempt large hits can use a Dragon Mace. Have everybody use all their specials on the first form. Eat as necessary. Once you have defeated the first form, the second form will fly out of the shell. If needed, your group can teleport out and quickly resupply and run back in. If your group can continue, switch over to full Veracs (if you used the high level form) or switch over to your range/mage gear.

Note:For those who have completed the Contact! quest, you can attempt using the Keris for high hits against the Kalphite Queen. This special is much more random than ordinary weapons, so while it may hit greatly, the results are very unpredictable.

Second Form

Melee with your full Veracs/Godsword Slayer Task combo or use your ranged/mage from a distance to kill the second form of the Queen. She will continue to hit hard with all three types of combat (30+ in each type). It is still recommended to use protect from magic prayer since that is what hits the hardest.

Rewards
What fun would it be fighting the Kalphite Queen without a good reward? None at all! Here’s a table of what you and your team could earn while defeating her:

Kalphite Queen’s Highly Valued Drops
Pic Name Item Function
Dragon Chainbody Very strong chest armour
Dragon 2h Sword A Powerful two-handed weapon
Shield Left Half Merged with Shield Right Half to form Dragon Sq Shield (not unique to Kalphite Queen, but chances are higher from her)
Dragon Med Helm Dragon Helmet slightly stronger than runite (also not unique to Kalphite Queen, but chances are higher from her)
Lava Battlestaff A magic battlestaff that supplies unlimited earth and fire runes simultaneously (Not as valuable as it once was before Slayer, since it is no longer unique to Kalphite Queen, but still considered one of her rarer drops)

The Kalphite Queen also drops several other prizes, including 500 mithril arrows, power amulets, and rune chainbodies.

Using LootShare
Jagex has created LootShare chat especially for players fighting as a team in a multi-combat area. Not only will this system report your team’s drops for everybody within the chat (with at least the minimum set rank), but will also increase each individual’s chances of getting drops, opposed to drops being limited to only one or a few individuals who consistently do the most damage.

If the Kalphite Queen drops a Dragon Chainbody, Dragon Spear, Dragon 2Hed Sword, Dragon Medium helmet, or a Shield left half(dragon), the drop will be converted to coins and all lootshare members will recieve an equal split.

Please refer to our New Members P2P guide for a listing of all worlds the Lootshare system is enabled upon. Note that worlds can change frequently and Jagex’s world select page should be your point of reference for Lootshare worlds.

Extra Tips
There are a few things to emphasize here, but most extra tips were already covered in Strategies and Tactics.

Keep your LP as high as possible without wasting food. Never let it drop below 500. If you feel confident, wait until you need to eat 2 sharks at a time.
Pay attention to your prayer while not eating, to make sure that you do not run out of prayer points!
Avoid the Kalphite Guardians while fighting the Queen. This can take some practice, but a group can almost always get out of being attacked by them. This is when a “spot swap” can come in handy. That is when the two players in a duo team switch spots at the same time. This way the Guardians can not reach their targets.
If you run out of prayer and have no potions left, teleport immediately.
Teleport to home, then back to Al Kharid after each trip. You can bank and return about as quickly as the Queen respawns, so it is rarely worth the time waiting for a respawn.
If you think you’re barely going to make it, teleport before it’s the last moment. You can’t always count on your teammates to save your gravestone.
Collect Potato Cactus around the edges of the room before you teleport if you are not close to dying. This can be quite profitable over several trips.
Using a summoning familiar can greatly decrease the difficulty of killing the Kalphite Queen. Using either a Beast of Burden or a combat familiar both gives the Queen an additional target and can either carry a lot more food or deal extra damage, allowing you to kill the Queen quicker.

Introduction
Please refer to the general God Wars guide for the basic mechanics of God Wars Dungeon. Bandos’s chosen General is General Graardor.
He is usually referred to by players as the easiest of the God Wars Dungeon bosses to defeat. However, you should always be aware while fighting, he can still hit very hard, up to 690 at maximum. He has two attacks, one a melee attack which hits up to 600, and secondly a ranged-based attack which can hit a maximum of 350. He will only target one player with his melee attack at once: if you are his target, always pray protect from melee. His ranged attack hits all players. Very few items give protection from his followers: the Ancient Mace, Bandos godsword, and the items from the Bandos armour set. You can also take a dip in the Bandos pool if you’ve completed the As a First Resort… quest. To enter, you need a hammer and 70 strength. General Graardor’s most prized drops include Bandos armour pieces, as well as godsword shards and his godsword hilt. If using the Trollheim teleport to arrive at the dungeon, use this strategy to keep a full inventory: Teleport to Trollheim, drop 2 food items, teleport back to a bank, get 2 more of the items dropped, and then teleport back to Trollheim. You should now have a full inventory.

Strategy
The best strategy to fight Bandos is by using a tank method. In this method, one player will enter first, praying melee. This is usually the highest levelled player in the group. His outfit will emphasize ranged defence, and he will suffer all damage from General Graardor. Other players should emphasize prayer and attack bonus, while still having fair defence to protect from the minions, as well as in case the General turns on them from spawning or killing the tank. These players should pray ranged while Graardor is alive. The tank should always enter the room first and engage Graardor. Then, and only then, should the rest of the team enter. After killing Graardor, the minions should be killed in this order: Steelwill (praying magic), then either Grimspike (praying range) or Strongsack (praying melee). Then, everyone but the tank should go to the very north-western corner, because Graardor spawns on the south-east side. The tank should engage him as soon as possible. While tanking, if you need to eat or drink a potion, run quickly under Graardor, eat, and then attack him. With practice, you can avoid getting hit while eating.

The best spot for kill-count is outside the Stronghold, near the ice bridge to Zamorak’s Fortress, on goblins and hobgoblins. For this spot you will need to bring a zamorak item. The other spot is on hobgoblins, outside the Stronghold, but just south of the Bandos boss room. You do not need an item for this spot.

Suggested Levels (warrior)

70 attack, strength, and defence
60 prayer (70 strongly recommended)
If ranging, 70+ ranged
Suggested Levels (tank)

85 defence
80 attack and strength
70 prayer
Keep in mind that these are suggested minimum levels. You can kill Graardor with lower levels, but you will perform much better with higher levels, and it is also much easier to find a group with higher stats. In a larger group, you can get away with lower stats. Having 70 prayer to bless teammates graves, as well as for piety, is highly recommended. Ranging and meleeing are both good choices. Maging, however, is ineffective against all God Wars Bosses, due to its low accuracy and the low defence of robes.

Having 52 summoning for a spirit terrorbird to carry extra supplies is recommended, and higher levelled Beasts of Burden or combat familiars are also an aid. Note: don’t bring an aggressive familiar, like a terrorbird if you’re not the tank. If your familiar attacks him, he’ll focus on you. Instead, bring a passive familiar, like a bunyip.

Equipment
Recommended equipment (warrior):
Note: Items are listed from the best to the worst

Weapon: Godsword > Abyssal Whip
Helmet: Helm of Neitiznot > Berserker helm > Warrior helm
Amulet: Fury > Glory
Body: Bandos Chestplate* > Verac’s Brassard > Other high defence platebodies
Legs: Bandos Tassets* > Verac’s Plateskirt > Other high defence platelegs
Shield: (If using whip) Rune Defender > Dragonfire Shield > Obsidian Shield
Cape: Fire cape > Skill Cape > God cape
Boots: Dragon > Rune
Gloves: Barrows > Dragon > Rune > Regen Bracelet > Adamant > Combat Bracelet
Ring: Berserker Ring(i) > Warrior Ring(i) > Berserker Ring > Warrior Ring > Ring of Life

*Note: Starred items are Bandos items that will protect you from his minions outside the boss room. Having one (or dipping in the Bandos Pool) is NECESSARY.

Recommended inventory (warrior):

8 Prayer Potions
2 Super attack and 2 super strength potions/ 2 ranging potions
Hammer
Teleport
Summoning pouches (optional)
Rest food (sharks recommended)*

Note: You should share food with your tank when needed - the tank will suffer much greater damage than warriors.

Void

Void is recommend for large teams because of it’s low defense.

Recommended equipment (tank):
Weapon: Abyssal Whip > Godsword
Helmet: Torag’s Helm/Guthan’s Helm > Other high defence helms
Amulet: Fury > Glory
Body: Guthan’s/Dharok’s/Torag’s Platebody > Karil’s Top > Bandos Chestplate*
Legs: Torag’s Platelegs > Other high defence platelegs
Shield: (If using whip) Dragonfire Shield > Obsidian Shield
Cape: Fire cape > Skill Cape > God cape
Boots: Dragon > Rune
Gloves: Barrows > Dragon > Rune > Regen Bracelet > Adamant > Combat Bracelet
Ring: Berserker Ring(i) > Warrior Ring(i) > Berserker Ring > Warrior Ring > Ring of Life

Recommended inventory (tank)

19 Saradomin Brews
7 Super Restores
Hammer
Teleport
Summoning Pouches (optional)

Solo
Soloing Bandos has both drawbacks and benefits over teams. It’s much easier to start a trip, and you get to keep all your drops yourself, although your trips are much shorter, and usually more expensive. There are also higher requirements.

Recommended Levels:

90 attack, strength and defence
70 prayer
52+ summoning
70+ magic
The strategy is similar to acting as the tank in a team. You will pray melee, emphasize range defence, and fight the boss. However, godswords help much more on killing the boss, and you need to deal much more damage, while taking more damage than in a team. You will use sharks instead of brews and restores.

Recommended equipment (solo):

Weapon: Godsword > Abyssal Whip
Helmet: Torag’s Helm/Guthan’s Helm > Other high defence helms
Amulet: Fury > Glory
Body: Karil’s Top > Bandos Chestplate*
Legs: Bandos Tassets > Other high defence platelegs
Shield: (If using whip) Dragonfire Shield > Blessed Spirit Shield > Obsidian Shield
Cape: Soul Wars > Fire cape > Skill Cape
Boots: Dragon > Rune
Gloves: Barrows > Dragon

Recommended Inventory (Solo)

Super attack, super strength, and super defence potion
Three prayer potions
Hammer
Teleport
Rest Sharks

Praying Piety as well as melee protect can speed up your kills and limit damage, but it does use far more prayer points. It’s up to personal preference. Using a summoned familiar helps the most during solo runs: you can use a Terrorbird or Tortoise to greatly increase your inventory.

To have a chance at the drops from the LootShare system, you must be within 16 squares of the killed monster. Also make sure that your rank is set high enough to have a chance for team drops if you are in a team using LootShare.

If the Clan Chat owner has the Coinshare option enabled, all those entitled to recieve lootshare drops will have it activated. Coinshare is only applied to certain drops. The drop will be converted to coins and all lootshare members will receive an equal split if General Graardor or any of his minions drop any of these items:

Godsword shard 1, 2, or 3
Bandos Boots, Chestplate, or Tassets
Bandos Hilt
Dragon Med Helm
Dragon Spear
Shield Left Half (dragon)
Please refer to our New Members P2P guide for a listing of all worlds the Lootshare system is enabled upon. Note that worlds can change frequently and Jagex’s world select page should be your point of reference for Lootshare worlds.

Conclusion
Bandos is one of the most simple God Wars dungeon bosses to understand and is a good first boss for beginners to try out. Killcount can be had on low-leveled creatures, and the boss’s attacks can be avoided so long as you are not tanking. It is also one of the more popular bosses to team, so finding a group is usually easier than the other bosses. Please note that this is an introduction for newcomers: this is just one of the multitude of strategies applicable in God Wars. Good luck!

What are the Revenants?
These tormented souls are the guardians of the wilderness, which was one of the sites of the great God Wars of the Third Age. They are significantly more powerful than other monsters, simulating players of the old wilderness more than NPCs. They are aggressive to all players, but use a wilderness level system to determine which players they are able to engage. There are many different kinds of Revenants, with a combat level range of 7-135. Their order is as follows: Imp (level 7), Goblins (levels 37, 30, 22, and 15), Icefiend (level 45), Pyrefiend (level 52), Hobgoblin (level 60), Vampire (level 68), Werewolf (level 75), Cyclops (level 82), Hellhound (level 90), Demon (level 98), Ork (level 105), Dark Beast (level 120), Knight (level 126), and Dragon (level 135).

Monster Profile
Revenant Basic Facts (Bestiary Profile)
Combat Level: 7-135 Life points: 100-1550 Maximum Hit: 100-350 Attack Style(s): All
Experience Summary
Compared to other monsters, Revenants offer little in the way of experience. You will receive only one combat XP per damage dealt. In addition, their high defence and difficulty level make training highly inefficient.
Drops Summary
Revenants usually drop small amounts of coins for your hard efforts, but sometimes they will drop more high value items such as Obsidian Capes, Dragon Daggers, and Glory Amulets. Wearing Jennica’s Ring, a reward from the Spirit of Summer quest, will double the chances of receiving one of these unique items.
Special Notes
Revenants have the ability to poison, teleblock, and freeze you for a short time. Their wander range is extremely big, sometimes as large as half of the wilderness.
Notable Drops
Amulets of Glory, Dragon weapons, Sharks, Clue Scrolls

Revenant AI and Behaviour
The normal monsters of RuneScape are generally very predictable and limited in their abilities. The Revenants are a little different, and it is important that you are fully aware of what they can do.

Revenants are similar to NPCs in that they have spawn points and wander radii. They cannot run, and can be trapped on obstacles. Unlike most NPCs, They have set patrol routes (shown later) that cover most of the popular spots in the Wilderness (Green Dragons, King Black Dragon Entrance, Wilderness Portals, Mage Arena, Agility Course, etc.). Knowing these patrol routes can be a crucial advantage when venturing into the wild.

Revenants use all three attack styles, and, unlike most other NPCs, will use the style you are not praying against. Their magical attack, which also teleblocks the target, is a skull-like projectile. Their ranged attack is an icy dart that can freeze players for five seconds. The melee attack is specific to the individual Revenant, ranging from the slash of a claw to the swing of a sword.

Revenant Attack Styles
Magic Ranged Melee

When in combat, Revenants have a little more advanced tactics than the average monster. They can heal themselves and cure poison a limited number of times. In addition, they are less prone to being trapped on objects (although it is still quite easy to do so), as they will strafe in one direction when unable to reach a target. They also have a unique ability to pass through fences and doors. However, they can only do so when NOT engaged in combat. Once a Revenant is targeting you, they lose this ability, and you can trap with ease. However, do not assume that you are safe if you have simply run off screen. Revenants will follow you for an extremely long distance before giving up (usually around half the size of the wilderness).

Survival - Easy When Prepared
Many players go into the wilderness for treasure trails and quests and activities. For any of these things, survival is the sole objective. Below is the recommended setup for resisting Revenant attacks.

Survival Setup

Take an antipoison potion if you plan to go beyond level 50 wilderness.

In this setup, there is an obvious emphasis on Magic defence. This is because you will be tanking any magic attacks, while protecting from Range attacks with prayer. If you cannot use some of these items due to level or activity, wear any item that gives corresponding defence bonuses.

Helmet: Armadyl Helmet > Helm of Neitiznot > Berserker Helm
Necklace: Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Glory > Amulet of Magic
Cape: Fire Cape > God Cape
Chest: Armadyl Chestplate > Karil’s Leathertop > Black Dragonhide Body
Legs: Armadyl Plateskirt > Karil’s Leatherskirt > Black Dragonhide Chaps
Weapon: Depends on your activity
Shield: Spectral Spirit Shield > Mind Shield > Holy Book
Gloves: Forinthry Bracelet > Barrows Gloves > Black Dragonhide Vambraces
Boots: Ranger Boots > Snakeskin Boots
Ring: Jennica’s Ring > Ring of Life

Note the use of the Forinthry bracelet. This is a crucial item for escaping Revenants, as this PREVENTS you from being teleblocked. Also note that Jennica’s ring is very helpful, as it enables access to several safe zones all around the wilderness. The Spirit Wolf is very handy, as its special ability will force Revenants to retreat from you. Substitute this for the Spirit Terrorbird if you like. The downside is that the wolf only lasts around 6 minutes per pouch, and its special ability can only be used in multi-combat. You should summon the wolf when you are attacked.

Patrol Routes and Spawn Points
Revenants have a weakness in that they are very predictable. They follow set paths and have many spawn locations scattered around the wilderness. Some spawn points and hotspots include:

Zamorak Mage near Edgeville
Chaos Elemental, Rogue’s Castle
Forgotten Cemetery
Mage Arena
Green Dragon locations
Dark Warriors’ Fortress
Agility Course
Mining Sites, especially Rune Rocks
Below is a map based on several months of observation that shows the general paths Revenants follow when wandering the wild. When a player is sighted, however, they will break from these predetermined paths and engage freely. However, Revenants patrolling a set hotzone area, such as the Zamorak Mage near Edgeville, will not chase players too great a distance.

As you can see, their patrol routes effectively cover the entire wilderness, which may make you ask, “Why is this helpful?” This map will help you to understand the different “hotzones” that they patrol through, and what places they can suddenly appear and attack. Revenants will spawn and “latch on” to a patrol route. They will follow this route until they reach a dead end or have been in the game for a certain amount of time.

Survival Tactics and Strategies
If you run into a Revenant during your activities in the wilderness, and you are not intending to fight them, here is the general process you should go through:

Activate Protect from Ranged (magic if wearing melee gear), and Protect Items. Turn off Auto-Retaliate. If in over level 50 wilderness, drink an antipoison potion.
Attempt to trap the Revenant, and log out if successful.
If you cannot trap the Revenant, run towards the nearest Safe Zone or use one of the escape routes (discussed below).
If you are being engaged by multiple Revenants in multi-combat style, activate Steel Skin and drink a super defence potion and run to the nearest safezone.
Trapping
Trapping pursuing Revenants is an alternative to fleeing, and it can be very easy, even with a multiple Revenant attack. While they will try to strafe in order to prevent this, with enough practice you can learn to use the landscape to your advantage. As shown below, you can use trees, rocks, and other objects to keep away from harm.
It should be noted that Revenants are NOT trapped by doors and fences if another Revenant is attacking you in single combat. Remember, if the Revenant is not “on” you, it can pass through obstacles!

Here’s a basic plan to remember: Pray, Trap, and Run!

Death
If you die during a Revenant attack, there are multiple easy ways to recover your items. If your grave is blessed, then withdraw Saradomin Brews for healing, a slash weapon, a Forinthry bracelet, and a teleport. Also bring a Terrorbird + Tireless Run Scrolls if you had a familiar, or the equivalent Beast of Burden Familiar and 2 Super Energy potions. You can carry a full load or half load of Sharks in the beast of burden in case you do need them. If your grave is not blessed, it is still worth trying to use the Wilderness Portals or other quick wilderness teleports to get to your gravestone. The 500,000gp investment in an Angel gravestone is entirely worth it!

Teleblocks and the Forinthry Bracelet
With the Forinthry bracelet, even if you do get teleblocked, it’ll use a charge for a self-teleport if you attempt to do so. This doesn’t count using the Pillars nor the Mage Arena Bank levers, as well as the Lever to Ardougne. If you get teleblocked without the Bracelet on, you can still equip one to teleport. A good hint if you get teleblocked is to wear your Forinthry and enter a non-wilderness area, as a Teleblock will instantly wear off this way. Non-wilderness areas include the banking area by the Wilderness Volcano and the Stealing Creation pre-game area. If you are in the deep wilderness, then the aforementioned techniques of the Ardougne Lever and the Mage Arena Bank Lever are your best choices. Entering the Chaos Tunnels may also be a way to exit to a “non-wilderness” coded area, and perhaps also using Jennica’s Ring near a Portal. Another area, but not recommended unless you have a quick reaction and a shield that would protect you from dragonfire, would be entering the King Black Dragon lair and tabbing out before it has a chance to hurt you.

Safe Zones and Escape Methods
Use the many quest rewards, ladders and teleport features of the wilderness to your advantage. Whether you are looking to survive or kill, you should know all of these escape routes, as they could save your life.

Safe Zones (Non-Revenant Areas)

Clan Wars
Fist of Guthix Cave
Stealing Creation
Wilderness Volcano Bank
Escape Teleports (can be teleblocked)

Wilderness Portals
Mage Arena Bank Lever
Ardougne Teleport Lever
Spirit World Portals (requires Jennica’s Ring from Spirit of Summer quest)
Zamorak Mage (must have completed Zamorak Mage miniquest)
Escape Ladders

Agility Course Ladder (need 52 Agility)
Chaos Altar Ladder (must start Defender of Varrock)
Chaos Tunnels Entrances
As you can see, there are numerous ways to safety from an attack. However, for many of these safe zones, it is CRUCIAL that you are wearing a Forinthry bracelet. Without it, you will be teleblocked and unable to use about 75% of these areas for 5 minutes. That is actually a long time when it comes to trying to survive an attack.

Combat - Taking Revenge
Revenant hunting is a somewhat popular activity among those seeking a combat challenge. Members have several advantages over Revenants when compared to free players, and thus free players should be very careful when attempting to hunt Revenants. Engage at your own risk!

Combat Setup

Take an antipoison potion if you plan to go beyond level 50 wilderness.

This setup works wonders for any Revenant encounter. The Salve(e) amulet provides a 20% attack and strength boost, and the Whip/defender combination cuts through their high defence. Alternatively, you can use a Slayer Helm/Black Mask and Fury Amulet if you have a Ghost Slayer Task. Keep a Forinthry bracelet handy, as it can help immensely if you are done fighting, but get attacked anyway.

As shown in the picture, for added defence, you can use the Dragonfire Shield instead of a defender. If you intend to go anywhere near Dragons when hunting, such as the middle wilderness portal, where there are green dragon spawns both to the east and west, an Antifire type shield will be infinitely helpful, as the revenant may run, or let a Dragon fight you.

Helmet: Helm of Neitiznot > Berserker Helm
Necklace: Salve Amulet(e) > Salve Amulet >Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Glory
Cape: Fire Cape > Skillcape(t) > Soul Wars Cape >
Chest: Torag’s Platebody > Any high defence platebody
Legs: Torag’s Platelegs > Any high defence platelegs
Weapon: Godsword or Abyssal Whip
Shield: Rune Defender or Dragonfire Shield
Gloves: Barrows gloves > Dragon gloves > Rune gloves > Regen bracelet
Boots: Dragon Boots > Rune Boots
Ring: Jennica’s Ring > Ring of Life

Finding a Revenant can be tough. Sometimes, they are grouped together, wandering the very place you just looked. This is why it is generally a good idea to refer to the patrol route map. Walk on the route yourself, and eventually you will find one. Follow this plan of attack:

Drink Super Set, and make sure you are ready for the fight. If you are under attack, do this anyway.
Activate Piety + Protection Prayer (your choice, either Ranged or Magic), and engage with main weapon.
Make sure Auto-Retaliate is ON throughout the fight. This helps especially in Single Combat, but be aware of some issues if multiple Revenants are attacking you.
As Revenants will begin to heal at 1/4-1/3 health, bring out your Special attack weapon when they reach this point. Unload all your special attacks!
If the Revenant isn’t down, continue attacking with your main weapon. The fight will be longer than normal, but keep at it and you will succeed.

If you are in combat setup, and are ambushed, but unable to fight due to lack of food or other vital equipment, equip your Forinthry bracelet (as shown in inventory). This will help prevent any further teleblocking. Try to trap the Revenant, and hop worlds. If this fails, make for the nearest safezone. Always make sure you have at least 4-6 sharks available for emergencies, as being ambushed with no food can lead to a quick death.

With proper equipment, you can deal very devastating blows, as shown above, and quickly take the upper hand in combat. Don’t become overconfident however, as Revenants can make a deadly comeback at any time.

Multi-Combat Heavy Engagement
If by chance you find yourself in a multi-combat zone with multiple Revenants (i.e. 3 Knights, 2 Orcs, or something similar), you should forget about using anything but protection prayers (no advanced curses). Using a protection prayer is simply much more efficient and if you use anything else you will be damaged very frequently. Equip Full Melee Gear and use magic prayer, as you will now have high defence versus all their attack styles. Be sure you have the combat stats to effectively take on whatever Revenants you encounter (being more than 10-15 combat levels below is a bad idea).

See if you can trap one or more of the Revenants, and make sure you have a safe area where you can eat. Below is an image showing an example of ways to deal with a multi-combat ambush at the Chaos Elemental. The basic idea is to trap all the Revenants, as well as the Chaos Elemental, and fight them 1 by 1 (if possible) or only 2 at a time. If you do not panic, you can survive multi-rev attacks.
The yellow dot represents the player, the blue dot the Chaos Elemental, and the red dots the Revenants. The third image shows a way of trapping the Revenants and escaping on the teleport pad.

Essentially, this is basic monster blocking and trapping, with some twists. Revenants can tell whether you are trying to trap them, and often strafe in one direction or move backwards to adapt to your tricks. So don’t think you are absolutely safe! It is best to trap the Revenant, and run to the nearest safe zone before they can free themselves. They will eventually teleport themselves out of obstacles, shown below.

Just remember the basic plan: Pray, Trap, and Run!

Hunting with a Team
Team Revenant hunting can be a fun activity to do while waiting for herbs to grow, or just to pass the time. Pass by the spawn points, following the patrol routes as you run, constantly recharging energy with your terrorbird.

With a team, all players should activate Piety (if not already). Because it is much easier to kill Revenants, especially in a multi-combat zone, there is much less risk of death! If you encounter multiple Revenants in multi-combat, however, it is important that your team does not let all of them focus on one person. If you do so, you are not using the advantage of a team efficiently. Spread out and have 1 player attack each Revenant (see if trapping is a possibility as well).

Hunting with a small group may be fine, but 70+ prayer with decent Constitution and Defence (over 80 recommended) will be extremely helpful, mainly for Blessing a grave then having to retreat.

There tend to be Revenants near the Chaos Elemental as well, sometimes in groups of 3+. You probably should not venture there unless you have at least 3 people who can take the damage, and deal enough damage to be able to make a large overall difference.

F2P - A Different Story
Revenants have a large advantage over F2P players, because they retain members’ abilities in F2P worlds. Therefore, they can teleblock and freeze (cannot poison, however) F2Pers! As well as this, they have the same max hits as in P2P, so they are much more difficult to deal with in F2P. Revenant hunting in F2P is highly dangerous and not recommended unless you are very experienced in combat.

Now then, what can one do to escape a Revenant attack in a free world? Wear your best melee equipment and using the Protect from Magic prayer. To avoid teleblock, keep your sound turned on, and once you hear the sound of a Revenant mage attack, teleport out. Of course, you may be above teleportable wilderness, and thus may have to simply keep running south or to the nearest safe zone.

Safe Zones and escape routes are also much more limited in F2P. There are no Spirit Portals or Teleport Levers. You cannot use a forinthry bracelet! So, your safe zones are limited to Fist of Guthix, the Wilderness Volcano banking area, the Clan Wars lobby, and the Stealing Creation lobby.

Rewards
One of the downsides of fighting Revenants is their small set of drops in comparison to the monumental effort required to kill them. All of them commonly drop small amounts of coins, but high level Revenants can sometimes drop Glory Amulets, Obsidian Capes, and Dragon weapons. Jennica’s ring, a reward from the Spirit of Summer quest, improves the chances of receiving one of the rarer high-value drops.

Overview
The giant mole resides below Falador park. With a level of 230 and 200 hitpoints, she is not a target to be under-estimated. At random points during the battle, she may burrow away in an attempt to escape to another part of the lair. The Giant Mole is often hunted because its skins and claws can be traded with Wyson the Gardener for birds nests, which are used in the herblore skill. Also, the seeds in the nests are very useful for farming.

Preparing for Battle
A light source is a must at all times while in the lair.

What To Bring:
Spade - To enter the lair.
A Light source - You don’t want the bugs getting you.
Dragon halberd - Great for high hitting special attacks.
Dragon Dagger(p++) and Rune Defender - The poison damage really adds up.
Teleport Tabs - For quicker journeys to altars(can also use your home teleport).
Super Attack and Strength - Make each hit count.
Prayer Potions - You don’t want to run out.

Equipment
Melee Method

Using this method, you will be praying “Protect from Melee” or “Deflect Melee”the whole time. This makes it very easy to kill the Giant mole assuming you don’t run out of prayer. The godsword can be replace with Abyssal Whip with a rune defender or shield of you choosing.

Range Method

Using this method, you will be praying “Protect from Melee” or “Deflect Melee”the whole time. You will run out of prayer potions faster this way because you are not using prayer bonus armor. The mole tends to be weaker to ranged attacks then melee.

Getting to the Giant Mole
To get to the Giant Mole lair dig with a spade on any of the many mole mounds in the Falador park. Once in the lair, you must make your way to the Giant Mole at the centre of the lair. The green dots on the map show where the Mole may appear if it burrows in an attempt to flee your slaying.

Strategy
Note: Using a Spirit Terrorbird while your killing the Giant Mole is a great way to make sure your running energy dose not drop to zero. Also a combat summoning familiar can be helpful for fighting the Giant Mole, especially while fighting it solo. If you are attacking the Mole and it is attacking you, when the Mole digs away your summoning familiar will follow it for a few steps allowing you to determine the general direction to the Mole.

Melee Method
1. Drink your potions(super attack and super strength).
2. Once at the mole, immediately turn on the Protect from Melee prayer.
3. Unleash your Dragon Dagger P++ or Dragon Halberd special attacks.
4. Swap to your Godsword/whip.
5. If the Giant Mole digs away, search the lair for where it has gone and finish off the kill.
Note: Make sure you don’t run out of prayer.

Range Method
1. Drink your potion(ranging).
2. Once at the mole, immediately turn on the Protect from Melee prayer.
4. If the Giant mole digs away, search the lair until you find it and continue your attack.
Note: Make sure you don’t run out of prayer.

Rewards
Visit Wyson the Gardener and trade your mole skins or claws for a bird’s nest. These nests can contain:

Nothing
An unenchanted ring
Vegetable seeds
Herb seeds
A tree seed
On top of those, you can get a variety of drops ranging from a dragon medium to an uncut gem. For a full list of drops, view the Giant Mole Bestiary profile.

Tips and Tricks
Bring your friends. With more people you’ll kill it faster and more effectively.
Bring a Teleport of your choice along with you just incase you happen to get in a sticky situation.
Watch your prayer. The consequences of not doing so could be fatal.
Don’t waste your prayer. You don’t want to have to teleport when it’s almost dead.
Use busy servers so the Giant Mole will respawn quicker.
Change your respawn point to Falador. If you die, you will be able to quickly retrieve your items.
