Money making guide/Prayer

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Beginners' Guide
Effectiveness Level requirement Details Other requirements
***** Level 1 Players can buy unblessed symbols at the Grand Exchange for 40 coins each. If they have completed the Observatory Quest, they can also have their unblessed unholy symbols blessed by the spirit of Scorpius, turning them into Unholy symbols. Completion of Observatory quest
***** Level 40 Climb up the tower in the ranging guild and turn on protect from ranged. Collect the arrows they shoot. Go to the side with the higher levelled archers for better arrows. Ranged level of 40; access to Rangers’ Guild
***** Level 31 Players can buy unblessed holy symbols at the Grand Exchange for 40 coins each. Unblessed holy symbols can be blessed by Brother Jered in the monastery, turning them into Holy symbols. Access to Monastery
***** Level 50 You can buy the Unblessed symbol in the Grand Exchange for 40 coins each. You will need an Unholy book for unholy symbols or a Holy book for holy symbols (The Book of balance can bless either symbol), an inventory of unblessed or unpowered symbols, a minimum of 4 prayer points, and an altar close to a bank (Some places with altars near banks include Ardougne, Varrock, or a Player-owned house in Yanille. You will need the altar to recharge your prayer as each blessing takes at least 4 prayer points to bless. The use of prayer potions would cost more than profit made from blessing the symbols. This will give you a profit of 89 for a Holy symbol and 159 for an Unholy symbol. Completion of Horror from the Deep
***** Recommended Level 60 You can use the ability of the blessed silver sickle from your worn equipment tab next to logs in Mort Myre Swamp and then pick up the fungi that appear on the log. These can be sold for 1,502 each. It is recommended to use teleport to house tabs if you have an altar and a Kharyll teleport (must have done Desert Treasure quest) in your Player Owned House. However if you do not have an altar, teleport to Kharyll and/or have level 60 prayer, bring a prayer potion — although prayer potions bring down the profit of this if you buy them off the Grand Exchange. Alternatively, you can recharge your prayer points at the altar in the Nature Spirit grotto. Using prayer potions it is possible to make up to 450,000 coins per hour at the current price for the mushrooms (1,502 coins each). Completion of Priest in Peril

Common items of trade

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Beginners' Guide

Typically, common items that are traded (by merchants with the intention of margin profits on short-term price movements) are those that are also produced and consumed relatively frequently.

Those items that have a bigger daily price variation produce the most percentage (margin) profit for flippers, but are also, in turn, more difficult to buy in large quantities because of the low volume of trade. Note that the low volume of trade is produces the price variation in the first place. Thus, merchants who increase the volume of trade benefit on the current price variations but also end up reducing the future price variations by the very act of trading on the GE, eventually reducing profits.

  • Arrows
  • Steel bars
  • Runes
  • Lobsters
  • Flax
  • Big bones or Dragon bones
  • Potions
  • Dragon leather
  • Seeds
  • Barrows equipment — Be careful, since these are a favourite of price-manipulation clans. Don’t mis-read recent price changes!
  • Rares—can be good for investing but not flipping, since the buy limit is two (2) every 4 hours.
  • God wars items and other very expensive and weapons.

In general, players should try to sell when they think the price has reached an acceptable price. Items usually (with the exception of rares) do not rise in price forever — if you wait too long, the price will eventually fall!

How the Grand Exchange works

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Beginners' Guide

Understanding the Grand Exchange is important to trading. Free players may have 2 slots, while members may have 6. Players may not sell an item immediately after buying it, or buy an item immediately after selling it. More specifically, when an item is traded, a timer of exactly 4 hours is started, and the opposite transaction for this type of item may only be conducted when the timer has expired. The timer does not start over if additional items are traded. For example, if you were to buy some nature runes at 2 p.m., you may be able to buy more at 5 p.m. but still be able to sell all of them at 6 p.m. when the original timer expires.

There is no limit to the amount of items a player may sell in any given time period. However, all items have limits on the number that can be bought in a given time period. This also uses the 4 hour timer.

Not all items have the same buy limit. The following are buy limits for a selection of items:

  • Runes, essence, flax, logs, ores: 25,000
  • Bars, bolts, arrows, feathers, ashes, herblore seconds, dragon leathers, planks, food: 10,000
  • 4-dose potions and summoning pouches: 5,000
  • Most cheap armour and weapons (up to rune): 100
  • Battlestaves: 100
  • Most amulets and rings: 100
  • Most expensive armour and weapons (barrows, 3rd age, godwars, pvp): 10
  • Rares and spirit shields: 2

If an offer is placed in the Grand Exchange, and it is a valid offer (not still on the timer), the game will search for all offers meeting your price or better, and instantly complete those trades, getting the prices of the already existing offers (not some sort of compromise price). If the offer is then not fully completed, it will wait until it is found by people placing in offers. Thus, all trades occurring in the Grand Exchange occur instantly for one person and not instantly for the other.

Basically, if you are trying to merchant, you do not want your half of the deal to be the instant half because you could have gotten a better price by waiting.

It also is important not to panic while trying to buy or sell items when you still may be on the timer, because your trade will not be completed no matter how good your offer is. Many people appear to not understand this, and put in buy offers for maximum or sell offers for minimum when they are locked out. Then, when their timer expires, the offer becomes valid and is snapped up by a lucky person.

A common misconception about the Grand Exchange is attaching special meaning to the median price. In reality, the median price is the average price of yesterday’s trades and may no longer be relevant.

In general, items are always rising in price or falling in price. If an item is rising in price, an attempt to sell it for median price will be instantly completed, and an attempt to buy for median price will not be instantly completed. The opposite is true for items falling in price.

Imagine that you could buy an item instantly, then sell it instantly. As an example, let’s say that whips are 1,800k median price, and you instantly buy for 1,850k, and instantly sell for 1,801k. This means that at the current time it is possible to buy or sell whips for any price between those two, but not outside this range. Of course, if you were buying, you would want to buy for maybe 1,802k, and if you were selling, you’d want to sell for maybe 1,849k. You want to be the person who gets a good deal by getting people’s instantly completed offers. You want to pay as little as possible, or sell for as much as possible, so that you beat out the next person in line for those instantly completed offers.

Notice the characteristics of this example: the item is rising in price, so the best buy offer is just above median price, but the best sell offer is much more above median price. If the item is falling in price, the best sell offer is just below median price, but the best buy offer is much more below median price. This model is not true if the rate of price change is too high; in some cases, an item may be completely bought out at the maximum price, or completely dumped at the minimum price.

Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: Use of the shrine to pray at, 8,000 prayer experience, 1,000 thieving experience, 1,000 magic experience.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 33 Magic, Level 37 Ranged, Level 37 Mining, Level 37 Thieving.
Required Items: 5 gps or a shantay pass, 1 law and 1 air rune, needle and a thread, a weapon with a slash-option, a weapon with a crush or smash-option, a weapon with a stab-option, pickaxe, rope, a bow and some arrows, a knife, some kind of light-source(lantern, candle etc.).
Monsters: Black Golem (level 75), Gray Golem (level 75) and White Golem (level 75).
NPC: Awusah the Mayor, Ghaslor the Elder, Shiratti the Custodian, Nirrie, Hallak, Tirrie.

SPIRITS OF THE ELID QUEST WALKTHROUGH
First of all you need to walk southeast from Shantay Pass to reach Nardah. The easiest way of finding Nardah is to go towards the Ruins of Uzer and going south just after passing the bridge crossing the river Elid. Use the flying carpets from Shantay Pass to Pollnivneach and then again to Nardah from south-Pollniveach. Once you are there, head east to the big house and talk to Awusah the Mayor. Talk to him for a moment and accept to help him. Go to the northeastern house in the village and talk to Ghaslor the Elder. He will give you a scroll to read. Go one house west from Ghaslor. Talk to Shiratti the Custodian and ask about the key. Telegrab the key from the table. Search the cupboard on the northwestern corner of the house. Use your needle and thread on the robes to fix them. Wear them and get ready to enter the dungeon. Take the weapons, the robes, a rope, bow and a few arrows and your pickaxe with you. Walk west until you find a river and follow it all the way north. Use your rope on the root hanging above the cave to get inside. Inside go through the first doors and then prepare yourself to fight the Golems. Each Golem has their own weakness. Black golem is weak to crush and smash-attacks. Grey golem to slash-attacks. White golem to stab-attacks. Open the doors on the east side of the cavern, fight the golems and go in to make the water flow again. In one of the rooms you have to range the target on the other side of the water pipe to get the water flowing, in other rooms you only need to use your pickaxe to clear the rubble out of the way. After clearing the three pipes proceed north through the next dual-doors. Talk to the spirits Nirrie, Tirrie and Hallak and ask if the town can have their water supply back. The spirits will ask you to bring the statuette back to its place. Go back to the mayor and ask where the statuette is. He tells you that they threw it into a crevice. Take a pair of the mayors shoes with you near the door of his house. Go west and take a light-source and a rope with you. Go down the crevice and proceed through the door to the north to find a genie. Talk to the genie and ask what he wants for the statuette. The genie wants the sole of the mayor. Use your knife on the mayors shoes to get the soles out and give one to the genie. The genie will give you the statuette. Take the statuette the temple where you telegrabbed the key and use it on the statue plinth. This completes the quest..

Runescape BIG CHOMPY BIRD HUNTING QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: South-east from the Ogre city (Gu’Tanoth) from the watchtower quest. Speak to an ogre named Rantz. He is hungry and wants you to help him make arrows for his unusually large bow, so he can hunt the Chompy Bird.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: Few exp in ranged (around 700), cooking (around 1500) and fletching (300), Ogre bow, ability to fletch ogre arrows and ability to cook Chomby bird.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 5 Fletching, Level 30 Cooking, Level 30 Ranging, ability to kill level 64 wolves and defend yourself from level 48 and level 70 ogres.
Required Items: Woodcutting axe, feathers (around 50 to 100, just to be safe), knife, chisel, weapon and armor (to kill a wolf, and defend yourself from ogres).
BIG CHOMPY BIRD HUNTING QUEST WALKTHROUGH
First step is to walk a little to the south from him and chop yourself some logs from the Achey trees. You’ll need around 5 logs - Rantz himself wants 6 arrows and you will probably want a few of your own.
Next, all around the hill area you are in you will encounter wolves. Go a little further south west from the Achey trees and you will find one. Kill a couple and use your chisel on their bones. Then, fletch arrows as per usual - use knife on logs, use feathers on shafts and use tips on feathered shafts. You need around 10 arrows.
Head back to Rantz and present him with the arrows. He then tells you about the toads, that his two sons like to play with. Remember to ask him all the questions you can, or else you wont be able to open the chest. Next step is to talk to the boys, which are inside a cave directly north from Rantz. On your way you will notice the ogre spitroast.
Speak to the boys and you discover they use a bellows to inflate the toads for fun - charming. They also tell you their father took the bellows off them and locked it in a chest, which you will find in the north-west part of the cave. Open it and search to find the bellows.
Head back down to where you found the wolves, and just to the west you will find a swamp. Try using the bellows on a toad - it tells you that the air is too thin. The solution is to use it on the swamp bubbles you will find in the swamp, at the southern end of the swamp pond. You get three shots with the gas filled bellows before you need to fill it again. Use the bellows on a toad again and you will be able to catch it. Get a few - at least three.
Head back to Rantz and present the toads to him. He will show you where you need to place them to lure the birds out.
Go down and place a toad on the spot. Rantz will take a shot at it, but he will miss. If you speak to him, he complains that your arrows are weak. Ask him to give you a go at shooting. He gives you his bow.
Head back down and place another toad. Wield the bow and arrows you have left, when the bird appears, range it. You’ll kill it fairly easily. Pluck the carcass and take the raw bird back to Rantz. He wants you to cook it as well.
He’ll tell you to ask the children what they would like with their dinner. Its different from person to person what they want on their Chompy, but here’s a quick list of where to get it all:
Onion: To the west of the swamp, there’s a fire and some ogres, right around there.
Doogle leaf: North-west of the swamp, respawn of 4.
Equa Leaf: You can get this south-east of Rantz, south of the place you placed your toad for the bait.
Tomato: South of the Wolfs.
Cabbage: North of the swamp where there is a bear.
Potato: south-east of Rantz.
Use the bird on the spitroast. Present Rantz with his delicious seasoned Chompy bird and the quest is complete.

Runescape EASY LEVEL UPS - CHEATS, HINTS AND TIPS

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Powerleveling, Runescape Skills

Method 1: Go to Rimmington, then go to the room where two logs respawn. Go in it, close the door, then wait until the little level 2 rats respawn there. Kill them until you reach level 5, then go back to Lumbridge. Go to the room with goblins in it. Close the door and wait until they respawn. Kill them and level up to about level 10. Then, go to Varrok and kill any level 9 men and level 10 muggers until you level up five more times. Then, go to the Wizard Tower to level up to level 20. Continue with the higher five levels each time until you are at level 40.
Method 2: An easy way to level up in your ranger level is to go to Port Sarim. Go inside the jail. Note: You will not be able to get your undamaged arrows again — bring a lot of them. Shoot at the goblin first until you gain some levels, then kill the mugger followed by the thief, black knight, and other prisoners. You will level quickly. Another place of interest for rangers is the wizard tower. Go down the stairs until you cannot proceed further. Look for the lesser daemon that is caged up. Note: Once again, you cannot get your arrows back. Also, beware of the level 25 dark wizard with a beard who will attack you.

Method 3: You can level your attack level (not strength) up to 8 at the Varrok training center (the one with five dummies in it) next to the east smithing area.
Method 4: Go to the hut in which you talk to the ancient Gnome. Attack the level 47 Jungle Spiders. These give more experience than level 56 Knights or level 79 Lessers.
Method 5: A good training location is the third floor in the black knight castle. There are non-aggressive black knights respawning there, and an Altar. To get in, first make sure you have a medium Bronze Helmet and an Iron Chain Mail. Then, go to world one and enter the fortress. Go through both doors so that you are in the black knight meeting hall. It has three long tables. Then, go through the door (not the one you just came in from). The reason this is done in world one is because people are attacking the black knights and they will not stop you from going in the door. Once you get through the door, log out and go to a less crowded world. Then, go up the stairs to the second floor, then up the ladder to the third floor. If you have a high enough Pray level, put on Rapid Heal; whenever you are low on Pray points recharge at the altar. Another benefit of training here is that if you are very low on HP and do not have food, leave and to the monastery; then repeat the process to get back in.
Method 6: An easy way to get your attack to any desired level is at Varrock. Go to the dummies by the museum. Hit the dummies until your attack level is 8. Once at 8, you will no longer be allowed to hit the dummies. Drink beer until your attack is 0 then keep hitting the dummies. Once your attack returns to 8 or more, repeat by drinking the beer. Note: The dummies only give 5 experience points for every hit.
Method 7: Go to Falador and get a Sleeping Bag, any kind of Pickaxe, and a Hammer. Go north to the mine. Stay there until you are satisfied with your mining level. Then go to Falador and smelt the ore. Go to Doric’s house and smith the ore. Repeat this to gain higher mining and smithing levels.
Method 8: For faster fletching levels (members only), go to the Gnome stronghold and cut oak trees. Oaks can be cut very fast. Make oak long bows, but do not string them. You will gain wood cutting and fletching experience quickly. Then, sell the bows to the general store for 8 gp each. You should get about 1,000 gp for every three to four hundred bows.
Method 9: A easy way to make money is to mine, smith, and cut trees like yews. Train all three of those skills to make hundreds of thousands with a level 3 character.
Method 10: This trick is for members only. Do the Plague City and Biohazard quests. After finishing the Biohazard quest, you can use King Lutha’s training grounds. To attack the ogres there you must get a halberd, range, or mage. With the halberd you can gain lots of combat levels in about an hour.
Method 11: You cannot die on the Tutorial Island. You will go down to one health, but you will not die. Stay down there to get your stats up to level 3.
Method 12: Go to Goblin Village (north of Falador) and go to a world with almost nobody in it (try when at night). Kill the Goblins to gain levels. Also, to win, use attack levels: accurate or controlled; strength levels: aggressive; and defense levels: defensive block.
Method 13: If you are a member, go to Seers village (west of White Wolf Mountain). Below the checkered room will be a field of Flax (the west field). Pick Flax and put it in your bank in Seers Village. Repeat this until you have about 500 to 1,000 Flax. You can sell Flax in that bank for 100 gp. If you want more money (with 12 Crafting), there are two buildings below and to the left of the bank. Take the Flax to the top floor of the southern building and use the spinning wheel. Spin the Flax into Bow Strings and sell them for 150 to 200 gp. You will also get a some crafting experience for spinning flax.

RS Power Leveling

level your ranged level in Runescape fast

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Skills

Want to level your ranged level in Runescape fast? Here’s how.

Ranging is one of the best choices when pking. Rangers hit high-damaging attacks in quick succession, and hit over and over again. Their disadvantage is that they are lightly armored, and take heavy damage from other rangers, and armored warriors as well.

Here’s your guide as to the quickest way to level ranged in the f2p world.

You will generally want the best equipment available for your level, and a large supply of bronze/iron arrows. Iron or bronze because it is the most cost effective way.

Note that there is a bit of an overlap between the selections of monsters. It’s generally the player’s choice when to move on to the next set of monsters.

Level: 1-15

Monster: Chickens

This is the best start for ranging, as chickens will not damage you, and you can sell the feathers for about 5 gp each. Each chicken drops about 5-15 feathers, and they sell fairly well on the Grand Exchange. There are chicken pens south of Falador, and north-east of Lumbridge. You can train prayer from picking up and burying their bones.

Level 11-25

Monster: Cows

Cows work pretty well until level 25. They are fairly good xp, and you can train prayer from their bones. I wouldn’t bother with the cowhides, it’ll slow you down too much. There are cows at both the crafting guild, and north-east of Lumbridge.

Monster: Monks

Another option is to go to the monastary, and kill monks. They are north-west of barbarian villiage, just south of Edgevile. You can heal using them, and they are good experience. Can train prayer on them as well.

Levels 26-40

Monster: Barbarians

Barbarians are in barbarian village. In the hall, they spawn along with food. Stand behind the tables, and farcast. This is fairly good exp, and this is how I got up to 40. It gets slow after 30 though. It is near a bank, which adds to convenience.

Levels 36-60

Monsters: Edgeville Guards

They are located at Edgeville. You simply step over the wilderness ditch, and you can range them with impunity. This is generally the fastest f2p spot to train ranged, and it is seldom crowded.

Another option is to go the stronghold of security and kill the level 27 minotaurs. They drop iron arrows fairly frequently, so you can sustain your training indefinitely there, and are good experience up to level 70, or you can go to the Varrock sewers and kill moss giants.

Levels 60+

Monsters: Lesser Demons

After doing Dragon Slayer, you can go down to Crandor and kill the lesser demons there. Once you get them non-aggressive, you can range them with impunity, as there are several safe-spots.

Well, that’s all!

Big Chompy Bird Hunting Walkthrough

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

What you need: 100 or more feathers (can be done with less but they’re cheap so why not play it safe?), a knife, an axe for chopping trees, a chisel and 6-10 wolf bones. You can gain wolf bones from level 64 wolves that are near the quest giver, but if you’re lower level you might consider spending around 4000 gold to buy them from the exchange.
Skill Requirements: 30 cooking, 30 ranged and 5 fletching
The Quest Reward: 2 quest points, 262 fletching xp, 1470 cooking xp, 735 ranged xp and the ability to make ogre arrows and wield them with the ogre bow.

This quest is started by talking to Rantz, an ogre located in an area called Feldip Hills, southeast of Yanille. Look for the quest marker on the map. You can get there easily by using a ring of dueling to teleport to Castle Wars arena then walking southeast (follow the impassable southern wall for a while and turn south when you’re passing Gu’tanoth). Rantz’s first task for you is to make some ogre arrows, specifically a set of six. You will want to make more for the hunting of a big chompy bird later. The only special item you need here is the Achey tree, which can be found just south of Rantz and more southwest around the swamp. The swamp is also a good place for higher levels to gather wolf bones free.

Once you’ve collected about 6 logs from Achey trees, carve them with your knife into ogre arrow shafts. Flight the arrow shafts by combining them with feathers, then use the chisel on wolf bones to make the arrowheads. Finally, combine the flighted shafts with the arrowheads (right click the arrow selection and choose make all to speed thngs up).

When you’ve got your arrows, give them to Rantz and he will tell you that you now need fat toadies. Listen to everything he has to say (click all the questions). When you’ve heard it out, go north into the cave and talk to his children. They’ll tell you they had an ogre bellows that they aren’t allowed to play with any more. It’s in the chest to the northwest. Choose unlock to remove the rocks from the top and snag the bellows. Now head back to the swamp.

Try to use the bellows on a frog and it’ll tell you to try some denser air. Use the bellows on the swamp bubbles (gross) and then try the frogs again. They’ll blow up. You’ll be allowed to catch three of them at once. Return to Rantz and ask him where to put the frogs, and he’ll point to the south. Go to where the marker is flashing and place a frog. Run away and talk to Rantz and let him know you placed the bait, then stay back. He’ll shoot at the bird when it comes. When he misses, offer to give it a go. Equip your bow and arrows and head south and place the bait again then scoot a full screen away. You can adjust the camera to see the bird at long range and lay in on him. You should have the opportunity to get a few shots off. Try using rapid fire or accurate shots. If you need to try more than two times, head back to the swamp and get more toads.

When you’ve finally got the meat, your cooking skill will come into play. Talk to Rantz again to find out what seasoning he would like. He’ll tell you to ask his boys what they’d want as well. The vegetables are in the following locations: Onion, Doogle Leaf and Tomato are west of the swamp. The onions come from the ground and a tomato can be found on the second stool from the swamp. Cabbage and Potato are both to be found southeast of Rantz. Equa Leaves are southeast of Rantz as well, but on a peninsula. When you’ve got all the ingredients, head back to the spit and cook the Big Chompy Bird meal. Talk to Rantz to wrap things up.

Runescape Range / Mage Hybrid (f2p)

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Ever wondered why elvemage was only around level 80 and could easily own so many other pkers without much difficulty? It was because he focused on mage and range, not everything else. Pures are players that train usually only 1 or 2 combat related skills to keep their combat level low and continue to be able to hit a large amount of damage.

In this guide you will learn how to make a mage / range hybrid (same as elvemage) except on f2p. If you follow the instructions right, you can end up with a character with 70 mage and 70 ranged and around level 50 combat for the low-level crater in Bounty Hunter.

The main idea of a range/mage hybrid depends on the magic required to bind and finish the prey off (with at least level 59 for fire blast, 16 damage max) or against warriors with armor that easily counters against ranged and the ranged to deal damage (fire blast is very costly).Let’s Get Started Then!

Start off by killing chickens in the chicken coops north of lumbridge with the runes and bronze arrows you already have. Pick up the arrows you drop because you don’t have many and pick up the bones as well. Do NOT bury the bones you picked up! With your remaining runes (hopefully you’re at level 3 magic or higher) cast confuse on the chickens or ducks.

Go back to lumbridge and ask for arrows and a training bow from the ranged tutor. Go kill some more chickens, and do the same to the bones as last time.

Now head towards Varrock and sell everything except your extra runes and shortbow, don’t forget to sell the bones which are worth around 80gp each at the time this guide was written. Use your remaining money to buy food on the Grand Exchange (preferably wine, trout, or salmon).

Runescape Level 99 Ranging How to Guide

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Getting to level 99 in Runescape is not impossible nor is it a hard task, ranging is just time consuming. This guide will explain a simple and easy way for Runescape p2p members to achieve this goal. I can not give an approximate length of time on how long it will take to get to level 99 ranging due to several factors like not everyone plays the same amount of time. Just like anything else the more you work at it the faster, easier and more rewarding it becomes.

Keep in mind that getting to level 99 can be very monotonous and one can become bored and even burn out on the task at hand. Make sure you take breaks from ranging and do something else that way you don’t become very bored with it and not want to do it anymore. Pace yourself and it will pay off.

From level one ranging to level twenty you will need a plain short bow an oak short bow and a willow short bow. The reason I say short bow and not long bow is because of he speed difference. When both the long bow and short bow are on rapid the short bow shoots the arrows at a speedier rate. You will also need bronze arrows. Yes bronze and lots of them. Bronze arrows are the cheapest arrow in the game. You do not need to worry about the expensive arrows until a much higher ranging level is acquired.

Now for the monsters! This is where the task becomes repetitive. You need to kill the men and women and the goblins in and around lumbridge until you are range level twenty. When you reach level 5 ranging you can switch to the oak short bow. At level 20 you can start to use the willow short bow. A money saving tip is to retrieve your arrows once you have killed a monster. It may take a few more seconds between kills but its well worth it because of the money you will save.

From level twenty to level forty you will need lots of bronze arrows. You will also need your willow short bow, a maple short bow and a yew short bow. The monsters to train on are the level 10 dwarfs that are between Falador and Varrock. You can still train on the men and women if you prefer to. Once you get to level thirty you can use the willow short bow. When you hit level 40 switch to the yew short bow.
