Bounty Hunter Wilderness-only PvP

Posted by: cow  //  Category: runescape news

This week’s update introduces Bounty Hunter ‘Wilderness-only’ PvP worlds (or ‘Bounty Worlds’). Our aim was to get something that feels as close to the original Wilderness as we can manage, and to add another thrill with the Bounty Hunter mechanic. The new worlds are limited to the Wilderness, and use the old ‘who can attack who’ levels.

Bounty Worlds are basically a mix of 3 previous PvP games. It has the best bits we can reuse from Bounty Hunter, PvP worlds, and the old Wilderness. In short, we’ve increased the chance to get your opponent’s items and we added the thrill of hunting a bounty within the Wilderness while surrounded by hundreds of potential PKers.

Here’s how it works:

You can attack anyone within the level range determined by the Wilderness level, starting with 1 just above Edgeville to 56 at the top of the map. If you kill someone who isn’t your bounty target, it is considered a ‘rogue kill’. There is no penalty for rogue kills any more. It will add 1 to your ‘rogue kills’ highscore, and you will get a drop based on the ‘drop potential’ mechanic from PvP worlds (see here for more details). We have, however, made it so that, when drop potential is converted to items, it is 3 times more likely to give you items your target was carrying, as opposed to generated items. The average size of the rewards is based on your drop potential the same as in PvP worlds.

After you have spent 30 minutes in a dangerous area on a Bounty World, the system will start looking for suitable ‘bounty targets’ for you. After 60 minutes, the chance of being assigned a target increases further. (Note: this doesn’t have to be all in one go, and isn’t reset by leaving.) Your target will always be a similar level to you. To make things even more interesting, you will also be their target! If you kill your target, it will add 1 to your ‘bounty kills’ highscore, and you will receive a generous boost to your drop: the average size of these drops is boosted by an extra hour of drop potential (just as if you’d spent an hour in a hot zone), on top of the drop you would receive normally. In addition to this, we’ve made it more likely that you’ll get items from your opponent’s actual inventory for killing your target – this also applies to rogue kills and in normal PvP worlds, but at a lower rate.

To make sure you have a chance of getting to the rewards, there are a couple of extra rules. Firstly, if your bounty target is fighting someone else in a single-way combat area, you will be able to attack your target, and their original foe will be locked out. Secondly, if you are fighting your enemy but do not inflict enough damage to count as the ‘hero’ (in the same way as drops are awarded when fighting monsters), your target will remain your target. Basically, your bounty target will remain your bounty target until one of you kills the other, or one of you leaves the Wilderness for more than ten minutes.

It isn’t all about the rewards, of course: it’s also about the thrill of trying to hunt someone down in an environment where the levels are well-matched. That’s why we brought back the old Wilderness levels, and restricted the action to the old Wilderness area. You can only fight in the Wilderness, and the only other area available is Edgeville, where you can restock and prepare for battle. You have to be in one of those areas before you can log into a Bounty World. So, head to Edgeville, switch to a Bounty World, and see if you can work your way up the Rogue/Bounty Hunter highscore tables.

Ultimate Tips to Success in Bounty Hunter

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

Hi everyone, I know you are wondering what this guide is about. It’s about Pking in bounty Hunter. I know we are all mad at Jagex for taking away PK and turn Runescape into ruinedscape.I’m one of the ones that are extremely ticked off because of this. PK is what I live for; I made tons of cash by Pking. It’s like a source to getting extremely rich. And JAGEX took it away .but they left us the second best thing bounty hunter. Well I’m going to teach you how to use these disadvantages to turn them into your advantage.

Rules of Bounty Hunter

  • Every time you kill a random person that is not your target, you have a 180 second penalty. You may not leave the arena or use protect item prayer. Every time you pick up an item while in penalty your time limit resets.
  • If you kill your target you will not get a penalty. Then the rules above will not apply.

Recent Updates

Jagex has improved the mini game so it is fair to the lower level players.

Here are the updates:

  • Players can now use locate bounty at a magic level of 25.
  • Players can not pile another player unless he/she is your target.

Well, enough about the rules and updates lets get to the main reason why I wrote this.

What Armor to Wear and What Items to Bring

Note: I did not make up the set names, The Pk champion of Runescape did. I simply used these names. So do not tell me these names are stupid. well honestly I think some are too.

Fighters

If you are a fighter you should wear the set True pk pure.

Requirements:

  • level 40 attack
  • level 40 ranged
  • high level of strength
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • any melee cape
  • leather boots
  • leather gloves
  • amulet of strength
  • Iron or steel armor set(kite shield, full helm, Platebody and legs)

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

Rangers

If you are a ranger you should wear the set Ranging skillage.

Requirements:

  • At least 40 range
  • At least 40 defense
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Maple longbow
  • 200 steel arrows
  • Green dragon hide set (Body, chaps and vambraces)
  • Amulet of power
  • Rune full helm
  • green cape

Why Steel Arrows?

Well steel arrows are easy to get. You can get them by killing the zombies in the stronghold of security. And they are fairly strong. But of course you can use mithril or adamant arrows.

Items in your inventory:

  • Runes needed for bounty locate
  • 25 lobsters

Mage

If you are a mage you should wear the set Magician of death.

Requirements:

  • Able to use fire bolt
  • Can run very fast
  • Fair level of defense
  • Range level of 40

The set contains:

  • Fire staff
  • Amulet of magic
  • wizard hat
  • wizard robe
  • leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • blue cape
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • Wooden or Anti-dragon Shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 200 chaos runes
  • 600 air runes
  • runes that are required for bind
  • 23 lobsters

Why do I need runes required for bind?

Well, because the mage has the least defense out of the three combat types.

So if you meet a fighter or a ranger that is not on your tail. You can bind them and run for your life!!!

Fighter Monk

If you are a fighter and you have high level of prayer then you should wear the set Prayer beast.

Requirements:

  • At least level 43 prayer
  • level 40 attack
  • fair level of strength

The Set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • Blessed holy symbol
  • Full Monk set(body and skirt)
  • Rune full helm
  • Leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • orange cape
  • Anti-dragon shield or any other type of kite shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 Strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

PK Master

Requirements:

  • At least level 40 attack
  • High level of strength
  • At least 40 defense
  • At least 43 prayer

The set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • Full rune set(Platebody, legs or skirt, Kite shield and Full helm)
  • Green dragon hide vambraces
  • Fighter or colorful boots
  • wilderness cape
  • Amulet of power

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 swordfish

Is This Just Full Rune?

That’s right it is full rune. You may think full rune is nothing, but that’s where you are wrong. If you where full rune and have a decent defense and prayer on, you will be virtually invincible. Why you say? Because In a free to play world people bring rune scimitars and they can barely even scratch rune when you have prayer on. Even if they have a high level of attack.

Runescape Range / Mage Hybrid (f2p)

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Ever wondered why elvemage was only around level 80 and could easily own so many other pkers without much difficulty? It was because he focused on mage and range, not everything else. Pures are players that train usually only 1 or 2 combat related skills to keep their combat level low and continue to be able to hit a large amount of damage.

In this guide you will learn how to make a mage / range hybrid (same as elvemage) except on f2p. If you follow the instructions right, you can end up with a character with 70 mage and 70 ranged and around level 50 combat for the low-level crater in Bounty Hunter.

The main idea of a range/mage hybrid depends on the magic required to bind and finish the prey off (with at least level 59 for fire blast, 16 damage max) or against warriors with armor that easily counters against ranged and the ranged to deal damage (fire blast is very costly).Let’s Get Started Then!

Start off by killing chickens in the chicken coops north of lumbridge with the runes and bronze arrows you already have. Pick up the arrows you drop because you don’t have many and pick up the bones as well. Do NOT bury the bones you picked up! With your remaining runes (hopefully you’re at level 3 magic or higher) cast confuse on the chickens or ducks.

Go back to lumbridge and ask for arrows and a training bow from the ranged tutor. Go kill some more chickens, and do the same to the bones as last time.

Now head towards Varrock and sell everything except your extra runes and shortbow, don’t forget to sell the bones which are worth around 80gp each at the time this guide was written. Use your remaining money to buy food on the Grand Exchange (preferably wine, trout, or salmon).

How to Own in Bounty Hunter on RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

This guide will explain how to train and own in Bounty Hunter. If you didnt know already, Bounty Hunter is a Runescape minigame. Only selected few worlds cater for Bounty Hunter. This minigame is for non members also and is a player vs player game only. If you just want the actual Bounty Hunter guide and not the training scroll down until you reach the heading ‘Bounty Hunter. But you can’t own if you are a noob, can you?

Steps

Create an account. Choose a catchy, unique username like ‘D34d Hybr1d’ or D34d R4nq3rz’. Once chosen, complete Tutorial Island.
Head to Barbarian Village and complete Stronghold of Security and Player Safety. You should have acquired 20k and two lamps. Rub both lamps and choose to level up ranged on both of them. You should have level 10 ranged now.
Ranged Training

Start training ranged. Food isn’t really neccesary here as you will be fighting in safe spots a lot, but it wouldn’t hurt to take several foods for the those trips back to the bank, when you have to leave your safe spot.
Take out from your bank, your Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow, Willow Shortbow, Maple Shortbow and Bronze Arrows. Equipt the Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow and Bronze Arrows.
Go to the Chicken Coop and train on Chickens until level 20 ranged. Always pick up most of your arrows and arrows are quiet expensive if you are a low level player. If you wish you may want to collect the chicken drops, such as the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the raw chicken for leveling up your cooking level or the bones if you wish to get up your prayer level.
Once at level 20 ranged equip your Willow Shortbow and train on cows. Remember again, to pick up your arrows. You may wish to pick up the cow hides to sell for 100gp+ each, the bones for prayer,or the raw meat for cooking.
Once level 30 you are ready to move on from the Cows. Head to the Dwarven Mine and find the scorpions. There should be a few rocks (near some stairs) which you can use as a safe spot. Picking up arrows is optional here as you may get attacked by scorpians if you leave the safe spot. Scorpians do not drop anything.
At level 40 Ranged there are three monsters you can train on, Hill Giants, white knights, or you can continue to kill scorpians. Hill Giants are located in Edgeville sewers or you can access the direct Hill Giants lair (Near Varrock) with a brass key. These monsters are level 28. There should be a safe spot at the end of the lair. Again, you may or may not wish to pick up your arrows. Hill Giants give you best drops out of all the monsters you have trained on. Big Bones can be sold for 400-500gp each and if your lucky they may occasionaly drop Limpwurts used for herblore or sold for 600-700gp each.
When you reach 60 Ranged you may wish to stop or have a break from leveling up your ranged. If you you wish to continue to 60+ Ranged it’s suggested to go to Karajama and train on Lesser Demons. These babies are level 82 and hit 8’s, but don’t worry there is a couple of safe spots. Lesser’s drop runes, money (up to 600gp),very rarely rune medium helmets, and other worthwhile items. Here you should pick up your arrows and drops as the lessers are very slow at reacting.
Attack and Strength Training

Take plenty of food with you when training, just incase some monsters are too powerful for your 1 defence. Remember that you will be fighting in close combat, unlike ranged, so you will always be under attack.
If you havn’t already sold or used any of your drops from training on ranged it’s suggestted you do. Once you have done that, go to a bank and take out the following: Iron Scimitar, Steel Scimitar, Black Longsword (scimitar costs 4k and sells slowly), Mithril Scimitar and Rune Scimitar. You can put back all your ranged gear as you will not need it for this part.
Head to the Chicken Coop in Lumbridge and train your attack and strength to level 10. Again, you mayt wish to pick up the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the bones for prayer or the raw chickens for cooking.
Once you have reached 10 Attack and Strength head north of Falador and enter the monastory. There should be level 5 monks, with 15 HP! These guys are equivelent to the well known, members Rock Crabs or Experiments. If you have 24 prayer ocassionaly you may find a Monk drops a Monk Robe, pick it up, its worth 200-300gp each. They drop bones if you want prayer levels.
If you have reached level 20 attack and strength, congratulations! Head back to cows and go train on cows. Cows drop bones for prayer, raw meat for cooking, and cowhides, which sell for 100gp and over. Cows are a great money maker and monster as they have a hitpoints ratio of 4!
Finally, you may have reached 40 attack and strength, you can finally equip the ultimate weopon, the Rune Scimitar. Now, this is where the strength kicks in by itself. Head to the Stronghold of Security and start fighting the flesh crawlers or zombies, which are located in Level 2 of the dungeon. These guys don’t drop anything, so once you kill one, attack another one! Train on these for a while until you reach level 60 strength. Remember to never, ever get your attack higher the 40!
At 60+ strength you may have some difficulty trying to find a good training monster as you want fast xp but you dont want to fight a high level monster; as you have 1 defence. Well… the solution is; Red Spiders. These can be found in Varrock Sewers or Stronghold of Secrurity on level 3. The good thing about these creepy crawlys is that they always stay in a close knit group, so you will always find a kill. Food is important here as they hit a couple of 3’s every few kills. Spiders usually have a few egg respawns. Red Spider Eggs sell for 450gp.
Congratulations, if you have mastered 40 attack and at least 60 strength you have completed this part of training. Melle attack will be your most effective form of attack in Bounty Hunter, as most of your opponents will be Rangers.
Magic Training
The only reason to get your magic up is to use bind (20) and Bounty Locate (32). Magic isn’t effective in Bounty Hunter as most of your enemies will use ranged attacks.
Go to a bank and sell or use all your drops you got from training attack and strength. Desposit all your equipment except your Amulet of Power. Withdraw your Staff of Air, Mind Runes and Chaos Runes.
Go to the Cow Farm in Lumbridge and stand outside the fence. As magic attacks can be casted from a fair distance away, standing outside walls stop you from getting hit. Put your auto cast on to wind strike; attack the cows.
You are one or two more steps away from completing your beginner training to own in Bounty Hunter. Now, you will be using your chaos runes. Put auto cast on to wind bolt. Attack the cows until level 32 magic. Now you can use all the strike attacks, most bolt attack, low alchemy, Varrock Teleport, Lumbridge Teleport and the one and only… Bounty Locate!
You have finished your Magic training.Don’t worry about getting your magic level up anymore as magic isn’t effective against rangers, unless it is bind (5 second freeze).
Bounty Hunter

Hopefully you have succefully completed your training without dieing, and getting up your stats to: 40 attack, 60+ strength, 60+ Ranged, 32 Magic and you are under level 55 combat!
Bounty Hunter is a replacement for pking in the wilderness. Although this minigame is greatly disliked by a minority (pures), it is still very popular and competitive. What you are aiming for is to own in the low level crater. If you exceed level 55 combat your pure is ruined for life if your main objective is to player kill.
Put your run and have your maple shortbow and 100 adamant arrows equited. Step inside the low level Bounty Hunter crater.
Imediately upon entering you will be invincible for 6 seconds. In that 6 seconds use Bounty Locate spell and start ranging your opponent.
When your opponent gets to 1/3 of his/her health wield your Rune Scimitar and continue to attack your target. When she/he reaches 1/4 of there health pull out your Rune 2h Sword and kill them!
If they do not die. Start Ranging them until they get to 1/4 of there HP,
KO them and hopefully it should kill them. If you attempt to KO them
more then two times repeat the range then 2h method.
Once you kill them imediately eat again, to full health. Pick up the most valuable items first until you have no more inventory space. If you need to eat food to pick up something, access the risk: ‘Is it worth more then the swordfish?’ and ‘Can I sell it quickly or wear it?’ if you think yes to one of the following, pick it up.
If you have a team member, friend or another person ask to have something, do not reply and run out of the crater. If you did not kill your target then you will have a 180 sec penalty, which means you can’t leave the arena for 3 minutes. In that time people may attack you, so let them chase you around. When you lose them or cover a fair distance apart teleport to your target and repeat it need be. Thats why you need 5 Bounty Locate teleports.

Make Money From Bounty Hunting

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Have you ever tried walking around in Bounty Hunters, in search for some kills, but ended up being killed? Have you ever wanted to know what it takes to become a true bounty hunters? What it takes to make MILLIONS of gp from bounty hunter? Well look no further, because you have just stumbled about Bounty Hunters = Bounty Money, your one stop guide on learning how to make MILLIONS in Bounty Hunters! Are you still skeptical about this? Need proof that you can make millions with the items you get from Bounty Hunters? Well, this is a one stop guide to everything Bounty Hunters, so here’s some proof!

1. Proof That Bounty Hunters Can Make You MILLIONS

Here’s video number one…

And here’s another video of proof…

2. How to Become Good a Bounty Hunter

Now that you’ve seen just how much bounty hunters are capable of making, you might have considered becoming one yourself, so you too could make your own millions.

Well, in order to become one, you first need the proper stats:

Combat Level: 55-100. You want to maintain your combat level in between here because you don’t want to be in the lower level crater where there isn’t much people with rune to be killing, and you don’t want to be in the high level crater where people are too smart to be killed. So keep your combat level between 55-100.
Range Level: 70+. If you have seen the PKers in the videos above, you have seen that they used a lot of range, and THEN switch to an Rune 2 Hander to finish off their opponents (a method that will be discussed later). So range is crucial to getting your opponent’s initial HP down, and that’s why you should strive for at least 70 range.
Strength Level: 75+. Most of the kills you have seen in the videos above are finished off by a blow with the Rune 2 Hander (a method that will be discussed later on in this guide). In order to make good use of the Rune 2 Hander kill finisher, you must have a good strength level in order to deal the heavy blows that your enemies won’t suspect.
Attack Level: 40+. You need your attack level at minimum to be level 40, so you can wield Rune Weapons, but its recommended that you make it higher so you can have better accuracy.
Defense Level: 40+. Defense should be kept at level 40 so you can wear Rune Armor. With the enemies you’ll encounter, some of them might hit very high. If you have Rune Armor, that will lower the need for you to keep eating and eating. And if you keep eating and eating because you have bad armor, you won’t be able to hit your enemy. If you can’t hit your enemy, you cant kill your enemy. If you can’t kill your enemy, you can’t get the armor they drop. If you cant get the armor your enemy drops, you don’t have anything to sell at the Grand Exchange, meaning… you can’t get any money. SO GET DEFENCE TO 40!
Prayer Level: 43. Prayer level is good to have, because first of all it allows you to activate your Strength and Attack prayers, giving you a better chance of finishing your opponent off with the Rune 2 Hander blow. Also, if you get it to 43, then say your opponent activates a protect from range or melee prayer. If you activate yours as well, chances are, he will end up dis activating his, and you yours. This will lead to a more damaging fight, giving you a better chance to finish off your opponent.
Magic Level: 31. You should have your magic at 31 for the Bounty Locate Spell. You DO NOT want to walk around looking for your bounty target. Just get this spell and be instantly teleported to him/her.
To attain these stats, here are some guides which you can follow (guides will be added shortly):

-Combat Training Guide
-Range Training Guide
-Magic Training Guide
-Prayer Training Guide

3. The Right Stuff

Alright, so you have your stats. Now what? Is it time to charge into Bounty Hunters yet? Sure, go ahead if you want to run in there with nothing and get pwned withing a minute. Stats are the most important part to making a good bounty hunter, but you also need the equipment that will make you ownage with the stats you have. To do so, make sure your bank has at least these following things before going on Bounty Hunter trips:

Rune Chain

Rune 2 Hander
Rune Full Helmet
Maple Short Bow
Amulet of Power

200+ Addy Arrows
Green Dragon Hide Chaps
Green Dragon Hide Vambraces
Combat Boots
100+ Sword Fishes (or lobsters)
10+ Strength Potions
30+ Sets of Locate Bounty Spells
You never know how long you might be at Bounty Hunters before getting a kill, so its best to pack your materials before you leave to go to the wildy. Otherwise you’re going to have to go all the way back to varrok and buy your supplies at the Grand Exchange (unless you can find someone selling it at the Bounty Hunters bank).

Now, you, before you walk in, here is what your inventory and your body equipment should look like:

Inventory:

Strength Potion
Rune 2 Hander
3 Sets of Locate Bounty Spell (3 airs, 3 fires, 3 laws)
23 Sword Fish (or lobbies if you are willing to risk your health)
Equipped:

Rune Full Helm
Rune Chain
Amulet of Power

Maple Short Bow
100 Addy Arrows
Green D’hide Chaps
Green D’hide Vambs
Combat Boots

4. Getting Into Battle

As soon as you enter, you’ll notice that you have a Bounty Target on the top right hand of your game screen. Before teleporting to your Target, you might want to consider these two things: Is he going to be a combat level I can handle? and Does he have a low combat, but has a 99 strength with which you can hit 33’s on me? This two things are to be considered before you teleport to your target, so it helps to quickly look up your target on the high scores list to make sure he is something you can handle.

If you can handle your target, go teleport to your target. If you can’t handle your target (and he honest with yourself), then you can hang around until you get a new target, or exit the crater and re enter for a new, more manageable target.

Try to take a sip of your Strength Potion BEFORE you teleport to your target, that way you don’t have to waste a fighting blow by sipping a strength pot.

5. Battling Your Opponent

After watching countless youtube videos of the pros battling, I decided to try it out for myself. I finally figured out the method that makes them so good. Here’s a step by step method on how to take down your opponent:

Start off by asking your opponent if they would care to have a no armor fight with you.
If so, excellent. If not, thats fine too (you’ll find out why in a second).
First you want to fire arrows at your opponent using the rapid mode.
Let them go down in their HP, and keep going with firing arrows.
If they safe (meaning they eat too frequently), like before they reach 1/3 HP, then call them a safer and warn them that you’ll leave if they don’t stop safing.
Once you’ve gotten them down to 1/3 HP for the SECOND TIME, open up your prayer menu and activate the Ultimate Strength and Incredible Reflexes prayers.

This time, when they are going to go down to 1/3 HP, you will pull out a Rune 2 Hander, and here’s how it works:
As you are shooting arrows, wait until you think you are about to shoot the arrow that will put them at 1/3 HP.
As soon as that arrow comes out of your bow, you have to swiftly switch to your Rune 2 Hander, and attack your opponent.
With luck, your arrow might have dealt maybe 10 HP of Damage, but with 75+ Strength, you could deliver blows of 25 dmg using Rune 2 Hander.

So you might hit basically 35 damage real quickly! That should be able to take out anyone with 1/3 HP left, even if they have a 99 HP level.
Observe the two videos shown at the beginning of this guide to see this Range/R2H combo in action.
If you opponent still isn’t dead, just repeat the process, except this time, don’t wait twice before whipping out your Rune 2 Hander, because your opponent already knows you have one.

If your opponent IS dead, then CONGRATULATIONS! You have just killed your opponent, and hopefully you picked to fight an opponent who had things worth killing for (like rune armor). Now you can sell his armor and the grand exchange any time to make thousands of GP. Then you can kill more and make GP of them too! Eventually you’ll end up with a few million GP in your bank from killing people at bounty hunters and selling off the loot you get at the Grand Exchange.

12. Prepare to Fight! You will have 6 seconds of invincibility when you enter. You will also be assigned a random target to Try and track that player down, but beware someone else will also be tracking you down too!
13. Track your target down easier use the Bounty Locate spell, which teleports you near your target.
14. Good Luck and try not to die, because if you successfully kill 10 of your Bounty Hunter targets, you will get a reward!

Tips

Buy a games necklace (enchanted sapphire necklace) for less than 1k in the ge to teleport you to bounty hunter.
Range, 2H, and Strength Pures are the best for BH.

Warnings

If you die in Bounty Hunter, you will lose ALL of the items you are carrying (unless you use the protect item prayer which will save one of your most expensive item ), so once again: Bring Items that you dont mind losing unless you are a serious bounty hunter!
On the way to Bounty Hunter, there might be a revenant that may attack you. These ghosts are much better fighters than their combat level suggests and can easily hit in the 20’s. They can Freeze, Teleblock and attack you in groups. It is suggested that you bring food on the way.

Bounty Hunter Guides on RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

This guide will explain how to train and own in Bounty Hunter. If you didn’t know already, Bounty Hunter is a RuneScape minigame. Only selected few worlds cater to Bounty Hunter. This minigame is for non members also and is a player vs player game only. If you just want the actual Bounty Hunter guide and not the training scroll down until you reach the heading ‘Bounty Hunter. But you can’t own if you are a noob, can you?

Steps

1 Create an account. Choose a catchy, unique username like ‘D34d Hybr1d’ or D34d R4nq3rz’. Once chosen, complete Tutorial Island.
2 Head to Barbarian Village and complete Stronghold of Security and Player Safety. You should have acquired 20k and two lamps. Rub both lamps and choose to level up ranged on both of them. You should have level 10 ranged now.

Ranged Training
Start training ranged. Food isn’t really necessary here as you will be fighting in safe spots a lot, but it wouldn’t hurt to take several foods for the those trips back to the bank, when you have to leave your safe spot.
Always pick up most of your arrows. Arrows are quite expensive if you are a low level player. If you wish, you may want to collect the chicken drops, such as the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the raw chicken for leveling up your cooking level or the bones if you wish to get up your prayer level.
Once at level 20 ranged, equip your Willow Shortbow and train on cows. Remember again, to pick up your arrows. You may wish to pick up the cow hides to sell for 100gp+ each, the bones for prayer,or the raw meat for cooking.
Once level 30, you are ready to move on from the Cows. Head to the Dwarven Mine and find the scorpions. There should be a few rocks (near some stairs) which you can use as a safe spot. Picking up arrows is optional here as you may get attacked by scorpians if you leave the safe spot. Scorpions do not drop anything.
At level 40 Ranged, there are three monsters you can train on, Hill Giants, white knights, or you can continue to kill scorpions. Big Bones can be sold for 400-500gp each and if your lucky they may occasionally drop Limpwurts used for herblore or sold for 600-700gp each.
When you reach 60 Ranged, you may wish to stop or have a break from leveling up your ranged.

Take plenty of food with you when training, just in case some monsters are too powerful for your 1 defense. Remember that you will be fighting in close combat, unlike ranged, so you will always be under attack.
Sell your drops. If you haven’t already sold or used any of your drops from training on ranged it’s suggested you do.
Once you have reached 10 Attack and Strength, head north of Falador and enter the monastery. There should be level 5 monks, with 15 HP! These guys are equivalent to the well known, members Rock Crabs or Experiments. If you have 24 prayer occasionally you may find a Monk drops a Monk Robe, pick it up, its worth 200-300gp each.
Finally, you may have reached 40 attack and strength, you can finally equip the ultimate weapon, the Rune Scimitar.
At 60+ strength you may have some difficulty trying to find a good training monster as you want fast xp but you don’t want to fight a high level monster; as you have 1 defense. Well… the solution is; Red Spiders. These can be found in Varrock Sewers or Stronghold of Security on level 3. The good thing about these creepy crawly’s is that they always stay in a close knit group, so you will always find a kill. Food is important here as they hit a couple of 3’s every few kills. Spiders usually have a few egg respawns. Red Spider Eggs sell for 450gp.
Congratulations, if you have mastered 40 attack and at least 60 strength you have completed this part of training. Melee attack will be your most effective form of attack in Bounty Hunter, as most of your opponents will be Rangers.

Magic Training

The only reason to get your magic up is to use bind (20) and Bounty Locate (32). Magic isn’t effective in Bounty Hunter as most of your enemies will use ranged attacks.
Go to a bank and sell or use all your drops you got from training attack and strength. Deposit all your equipment except your Amulet of Power.
You have finished your Magic training. Don’t worry about getting your magic level up anymore as magic isn’t effective against rangers, unless it is bind (5 second freeze).

Bounty Hunter
Hopefully you have successfully completed your training without dieing, and getting up your stats to: 40 attack, 60+ strength, 60+ Ranged, 32 Magic and you are under level 55 combat!
Put your run and have your maple shortbow and 100 adamant arrows equipped. Step inside the low level Bounty Hunter crater.
Immediately upon entering you will be invincible for 6 seconds.
Start Ranging them until they get to 1/4 of their HP,
KO them and hopefully it should kill them. If you attempt to KO them more then two times repeat the range then 2h method.
Once you kill them, immediately eat again, to full health.
That’s why you need 5 Bounty Locate teleports.

How to Real World Trade in Bounty Hunter In runescape

Posted by: admin  //  Category: Beginners' Guide, Runescape Guide, runescape

HELLO, and welcome to Solid tank’s guide on how to RWT in BH! In this guide, I will show how you can buy Runescape GP on level 3-138! I will explain how to transfer

gold in the Low, Medium, and High level craters of Bounty Hunter in F2P AND P2P! Enjoy!

Buying Gold in F2P ( http://www.runescapemoney.ws/ cheap RS gold on sale)

Level 3 - 55: low-level crater
Want to buy gold on a level 3? Sorry to break it to you, but it is NOT going to happen. for this to work, it is advised to have atleast a level 25-55.

Requirements

Runescape Account with combat levels from 25-55
32 Magic for Bounty Locate spell.
Being able to defeat your gold seller [Opponent]

Starting Off

Talk to your customer/seller on MSN/Aim; NEVER EVER talk to them on runescape, even in your private messages! Decide on the amount of gold you are going to buy/sell.
Since you are in the levels of 25-55, your buyer most probablly will not have 25 prayer, but that isn’t a problem in this method.

Both parties should decide on an item(s) they agree on. This method is very safe, so let’s decide we want to sell 1.6m gp to a level 40.

(In this senerio I am going to be the Seller)

I will meet with my buyer in one of the lowest populated Bounty Hunter worlds. Now to make this go faster, it would be wise to do the trade late at night when bounty

hunter is NOT that populated. I am going to bring in a Wizard hat (g), Wizard Robe Body (g), Green D’Hide Chaps (g), and a Strength Amulet (T), because all of these equal 1.6m gp.

Now remember, i am going to have my IM window with my customer open, and on his signal ENTER the low level bounty hunter crater. My buyer will then tell me whether or

not I am his target. If he tells me I am his target, I’ll simply wait a few seconds untill he uses his Bounty Locate Spell and teleports to me. He will then kill me, recieve NO

penalty, and leave happily with his 1.6m
*NOTE* If my buyer was NOT my target, we would simply leave the crater and step back in untill I am his target and he kills me.

Level 50 - 100: medium-level crater

Talk to your customer/seller on MSN/Aim; NEVER EVER talk to them on runescape, even in your private messages! Decide on the amount of gold you are going to buy/sell.

Both parties should decide on an item(s) they agree on. This method is very safe, so let’s decide we want to sell 5m GP. Please be aware that most sellers SHOULD have 40

defence, and if the seller does have 40 defence it will go by much faster. However, it is not neccesary for the seller to have 40 defence, but you will have to make more trips.

Let’s say I (the SELLER) Do have 40 defence. I could simply bring in a set of full Zamorak (worth just about 2.5m) and let my buyer kill me. Two trips of these and the trade will be done.

Now lets say I (the SELLER) do NOT have 40 defence. Well than your best luck would be transferring the same as low level craters; a Wizard hat (g), Wizard Robe Body (g), Green D’Hide Chaps (g), and a Strength Amulet (T).

Okay, so both parties should meet at the GERMAN WORLD, 122, because it IS the least populated bounty hunter world for the MEDIUM-LEVEL crater. Now remember, i am going to have my IM window with my customer open, and on his signal ENTER the medium-level bounty hunter crater. My buyer will then tell me whether or not I am his

target. If he tells me I am his target, I’ll simply wait a few seconds untill he uses his Bounty Locate Spell and teleports to me. He will then kill me, recieve NO penalty, and leave happily with his Money.
*NOTE* If my buyer was NOT my target, we would simply leave the crater and step back in untill I am his target and he kills me.

Level 95+: high-level crater

Now we’re talking pretty fast RWT’ing. At level 95+ you WILL have 40+ defence, so you can bring in full saradomin, zamorak, or guthix!

We are going to bring in a set of full Zamorak (worth just about 2.5m) and let my buyer kill me. Two trips of these and the trade will be done.

For the high level crater, I do not know a world, I would try the German World 122, but if that doesn’t work, simply try another. Now remember, i am going to have my IM window with my customer open, and on his signal ENTER the High-level bounty hunter crater. My buyer will then tell me whether or not I am his target. If he tells me I am his target, I’ll simply wait a few seconds untill he uses his Bounty Locate Spell and teleports to me. He will then kill me, recieve NO penalty, and leave happily with his Money.
*NOTE* If my buyer was NOT my target, we would simply leave the crater and step back in untill I am his target and he kills me.P2P

Level 3 - 67: low-level crater

talk to your customer/seller on MSN/Aim; NEVER EVER talk to them on runescape, even in your private messages! Decide on the amount of gold you are going to buy/sell.
Since you are in the levels of 25-67, your buyer most probablly will not have 25 prayer, but that isn’t a problem in this method.

Both parties should decide on an item(s) they agree on.

Now since you are P2P, you have a whole new selection of items. Since your (the SELLERS) stats will vary, it is wise to chose an item that suites your stats and will take the least number of trips. If you can not decide, a Fury amulet would probablly be good.

(In this senerio I am going to be the Seller)

I will meet with my buyer in one of the lowest populated Bounty Hunter worlds. Now to make this go faster, it would be wise to do the trade late at night when bounty hunter is NOT that populated. I am going to take whatever item(s) i decided with me.

Now remember, i am going to have my IM window with my customer open, and on his signal ENTER the low level bounty hunter crater. My buyer will then tell me whether or not I am his target. If he tells me I am his target, I’ll simply wait a few seconds untill he uses his Bounty Locate Spell and teleports to me. He will then kill me, recieve NO penalty, and leave happily with his Money.
*NOTE* If my buyer was NOT my target, we would simply leave the crater and step back in untill I am his target and he kills me.

Level 62 - 112: medium-level crater

talk to your customer/seller on MSN/Aim; NEVER EVER talk to them on runescape, even in your private messages! Decide on the amount of gold you are going to buy/sell.

Both parties should decide on an item(s) they agree on.

Now, you are levels 62-112, and should have some pretty decent stats. You can now transfer anything from Fury amulets to Dark Bows, to God Swords to dragon fire sheilds!

Level 107+: high-level crater

talk to your customer/seller on MSN/Aim; NEVER EVER talk to them on runescape, even in your private messages! Decide on the amount of gold you are going to buy/sell.

Both parties should decide on an item(s) they agree on.

Now, you are levels 107+, you WILL have ATLEAST 60 defence, so you can trade Dragon armour, GodWars armour, or anything else!
