TOKTZ-KET-DILL QUEST WALKTHROUGH

Speak to the guards outside the collapsed tunnel to discover that a large creature, TokTz-Ket-Dill, has been burrowing under the TzHaar city, endangering everyone there. They cannot get through without risking another collapse, so they need someone small - you - to go through the only entrance they have. Volunteer to help stabilize the tunnels and they will send you to TzHaar-Ket-Grol to enter the tunnels.

Head south and speak to TzHaar-Ket-Grol about going into the tunnels. He does not trust a JalYt like yourself to be able to help, and will not allow you to enter until you have materials: Tok-Xil-Im, Tok-Ket-Hurt, and TokJal-Hurt. Unless you happen to be an expert on the TzHaar language, you will need to head over to the TzHaar Library to figure out what TzHaar-Ket-Grol wants. Head west until you see the furnace icon on your minimap. The library cave entrance in to the southwest of the lava forge furnace. Enter and speak to TzHaar-Mej-Lor about the TzHaar language. He will refer you to the JalYt section, which is filled with ashes from books that had burnt. When you fail to get any help from him, he will tell you that Reldo in the Varrock Library sent him the books.

Make your way or teleport to Varrock. Go to the library in the Varrock Palace and speak to Reldo about the TzHaar language. He has a copy of the book you need, the TzHaar Tourist Guide, somewhere in the bookcases. This happens to be in the second bookcase up from the southwest corner of the room. When you open the book, you will find a note. Read it to discover the meanings of the numbers. Read through the book itself to find translations for TzHaar words. Translating the stone tablet TzHaar-Ket-Grol gave you gives: 1 Pickaxe of any kind, 20 Blocks of stone, and 15 Oak planks.

Return to TzHaar-Ket-Grol and tell him that you need a pickaxe, oak planks (which TzHaar-Hur-Frok can treat), and blocks of stone. TzHaar-Ket-Grol will instruct you to head to the mines to the northeast, where you need to learn how to mine magma. Bring your 15 oak planks to TzHaar-Hur-Frok who is around the quest start point and ask him to treat them. Bank the treated planks to save inventory space.

Go through the cave entrance northeast of TzHaar-Ket-Grol and speak to TzHaar-Hur-Brekt about learning proper magma mining. When he refuses, point out its importance or offer to pay - eventually he will mention that he needs your help convincing the other four miners to be in his play. First, however, he needs your help developing a plot the miners would be willing to participate in.

Speak to the miners about the play - they will immediately denounce it as against all things TzHaar. Speak to TzHaar-Hur-Brekt again about the play and suggest changing the plot. Offer up the idea of the humans starting it. Je accepts this as a better idea. Check with the miners again to find that, while the idea is an improvement, the plot is still “horrible.” Now the story needs to be tweaked to please each individual miner. Ask each one how the story could be improved:

The following section must be completed in this exact order otherwise you will need to reset the plot with Tzhaar-Hur-Brekt.

TzHaar-Hur-Klag: “TzHaar who gets assaulted in its home is TzHaar-Hur.”
TzHaar-Mej-Kol: “One is a TzHaar-Mej who is aware of the situation.”
TzHaar-Xil-Mor: “The criminal could be a TzHaar-Xil.”
TzHaar-Hur-Brekt: Decide on an ending - “The criminal’s plans are foiled.”
TzHaar-Xil-Mor: “The plans aren’t always foiled.”
Now that everyone is finally in agreement, speak to TzHaar-Hur-Brekt again to find that you must now assign roles to each miner. Assign and modify them as follows:

TokTz-Ket-Ek-Mack: TzHaar-Xil-Mor - No modification needed.
KetKul-Schmul: TzHaar-Mej-Kol - Modify the role to make him happier.
JalYt-Jenny: TzHaar-Ket-Jok - Modify the role to a TzHaar-Ket, but do not agree to him defeating the TzHaar-Xil.
TzHaar-Hur: TzHaar-Hur-Klag - Modify the role so he is not assaulted and the character is named TzHaar-Hur-Klag.
Report your success to TzHaar-Hur-Brekt and he will teach you to mine magma safely. Mine 20 slabs of obsidian for the tunnel repairs and use a chisel with a hammer in your inventory to craft them into pillars.

Head down through the crack in the wall to repair the tunnels. Examine each caved-in section to determine how to repair it - if it is simply “bad damage,” it can be repaired with treated planks; if it is “very bad damage,” it will require a pillar. When you have repaired each spot in the first room, mine through the collapsed tunnel to continue onward.

In this next room, you will have to defeat the Fire Monster (Level 47) with magic. The best spells to use are Water spells, the stronger the better. You can kill it immediately or you can repair the damage to the south, but you will have to defeat it before going across the stepping stones to the north. Repair the four spots to the south, then cross the stepping stones to fix the northeastern cave-ins. There are a total of 8 spots in this room - after you repair each, mine the collapsed tunnel to move on.

The next room with have another Fire Monster and two Lava Monsters. The Fire monster must again be killed with magic and the Lava monsters defeated with Range attacks. This room has 8 spots to be repaired in the south - it is wise to kill all three monsters in this room before repairing anything, as you block off paths necessary to kill them through your repairs. Once everything is repaired and all monsters are killed, cross the stepping stones and mine the collapsed tunnel.

Pass through into the final chamber and head through the north tunnel to face the TzTok-Ket-Dill (Level 100). Do not use protection prayers against TzTok-Ket-Dill, it will cause it to attack you with unblockable 20+ attacks. You need to break away his armour which can only be done with a rune pickaxe. After which the crush attack “Smash” (or any other weapon with a crush attack) will be the only damaging style.

When you have defeated the TokTz-Ket-Dill, head back out and go out the southern cave entrance and speak with any of the guards to report your success. They will congratulate you and reward you.

Runescape LOST CITY QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Forest between Lumbridge and Draynor Village.
Quest difficulty level: Hard.
Reward: Access to the Lost City, ability to buy Dragon Long Sword and Dragon Dagger from shops there (need a cut diamond to get in to this area).
Quest points gained: 3.
Required Skills: Level 31 Crafting, 36 Woodcutting, be able to kill a level 101 Tree Spirit,
Required Items: Hatchet, knife.
LOST CITY QUEST WALKTHROUGH
To start the quest first head to Draynor Village, south east of the prison, you will find a camp with 4 adventurers: a monk, a wizard, a warrior, and a ranger.
If you question one of them they will start to reveal to you the whereabouts of Zanaris. When questioning them, try to act stupid, ask who Zanaris is for example. (Zanaris is a place not a person) and eventually they will tell you about a leprechaun they’re looking for.
To find this leprechaun you will need a hatchet. Nearby to the adventurers you will find a well. The first tree north west of this well is slightly different to all the trees around it, it will have the option of “chop tree” instead of “chop down tree”. Make sure you are wielding your hatchet, and chop the tree. When you do this a little fella in green called Shamus should appear.
If you talk to him he will tell you how to enter Zanaris: with a staff carved from the dramen tree found on Entrana. To gain access to Entrana you won’t be allowed to bring any weapons, apart from capes, amulets, and robes, and runes. You may also wish to bring some fletching and crafting items to make your own rangers armour and weapons on the island. You can bring leather, needles, threads, headless arrows, arrow heads, unstrung bows, and bow strings to the island. You may also bring all the runes you want to. If you want good equipment bring a friend with high crafting and/or fletching to make you some stuff, or make some yourself. You may also wish to bring prayer pots, or other pots, and food.
Once on Entrana head east, cross the bridge then head west until you see a cave monk. If you try to access the ladder he will warn you about the evilness in it. You will only be able to exit by teleporting or going through a portal into high level wilderness, so its recommended you bring a teleport spell or dragon ammy.
Once you climb down the ladder your prayer will be drained to a very low level. You will also come across some zombies. Kill them until you have a bronze hatchet, and possibly a bronze med. Up ahead are some greater demons guarding the portal (do not go through the portal). If you’re lucky you might get some steel or mithril armour, or even a rune full helmet. Further on is the dramen tree. You wont be able to cut a branch from it yet though, if you try a level 101 tree spirit will attack you. You must defeat it, range, melee, or magic, just kill it! When you have, you will be allowed to cut all the dramen branches you want! Get one, or a couple if you wish (use your bronze hatchet you got from the zombies) and teleport out of there.
Now head towards Draynor bank, and withdraw a knife. Use the knife on the branch to make yourself a dramen staff! Wield the staff and now head towards the adventurers where you started. Talk to the adventurers and gloat about what you’ve done before you head east. Past the swamp you will find a small shed, if you enter, wielding your dramen staff, your world will start to shimmer and you’re in Zanaris.

Runescape BIOHAZARD QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Talk to Elena in the building east from her mother and father in Ardougne.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: Thieving exp, permission to the kings training ground.
Quest points gained: 3.
Required quest: Part one of Plague City quest must be completed.
BIOHAZARD QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Elena: She will tell you to talk to Jerico, find him in a house south of the west bank. He will tell you to talk to Omart found at the southern wall.
Omart: After talking with Elena head over to Omart who will tell you that you’ll have to talk with Jerico about something to distract the guards. Jerico will just send you back to Omart because he’s too busy feeding his pigeons. While at Jerico, search his cupboard to find some pigeon feed, and go around back and take a pigeon cage.
Over the wall: Go to the tower north of Omart and use the pigeon feed on it, and then release the pigeons. Talk with Omart and get over the wall. Now go all the way north and take a rotten apple west of the most north-eastern house there. Now go over the fence, use the rotten apple with the cooking pot, and talk with the mourner.
Doctor: The mourner will tell you that they’re all sick, so you’ll have to play a doctor now. To do this you’ll need a doctors gown, you can find this in the house south-west in the city where the nurse Sarah lives. Search the cupboard to get the gown. Put it on and go back to the mourner. Open the door to the building and go upstairs, where you’ll find a mourner you’ll have to kill.
Elena’s distillator: After you kill the mourner upstairs you’ll get a key. Use this on the gate over there, and search the crates in there. Go back to the place you came over the wall and get Kilron to help you over. Head back to Elena, and she’ll tell you to take some samples to the chemist in Rimmington. Be careful with the samples, they will break if you teleport or fight on the way. You can put them in the bank and teleport to Falador though.
Chemist: Once at the chemist’s house a little west of Rimmington, talk with him (don’t talk about the plague), and then go outside and give Chancy the liquid honey, Hops the sulphuric broline and Devinci the ethenea (in that order)
Varrock: Go to Varrock and buy a priests robe from the clothes shop if you haven’t done that already. Go to the Dancing Donkey Inn in south-east Varrock and get your samples back from the three men there. Put on your priest robes and head into the building where Guidor is. Talk with him, and he’ll tell you that there is no plague. Go back and give Elena the good news, and then head over to the King for your reward.

Plague City Quest

Items needed: Bucket, dwellberries, rope, bucket of milk, chocolate dust, snape grass.
Skills needed: Ability to kill a lvl 44 Guard Dog
Rewards: 1 Quest point, ability to cast Ardougne Teleport.

To start the quest, go to the northwestern corner of East Ardougne. You’ll find Edmond walking around behind his house.

He explains that his daughter, Elena, crossed the wall surrounding West Ardougne, which is under the Plague. He asks you to go find her. First, you need a gas mask. Head to McGrubor’s Wood for some dwellberries.

The front entrance to the fenced wood is barred by foresters. Circle the fence and to the back. There will be a loose railing, marked on the map. Slaughter/Run away from a few guard dogs and take the dwellberries. Head back to Edmond’s to give the berries to his wife, Alrena.

Wear the gasmask she gives you, and talk to Edmond out back. He tells you to burrow in his backyard to get to the sewers. You need to soften the mud patch with water. You may as well take the spade and picture in the house also.

If you don’t have a bucket, the nearest general store that sells them is in Port Khazard. Buy a few, fill them somewhere, and head back to Edmonds. Why a few? Because apparently, Ardougne doesn’t have a city-wide running water system. You need to dump 4 buckets of water into the mudpatch in the backyard, and then dig with the spade.

You’ll find that the entrance to the sewers is blocked by a grate. Talking to Edmond reveals that you need a rope to pull it off. You can pick up a rope at the Ardougne General Store. Head back, use the rope on the sewer grate, then go talk to Edmund again. You can now go through the sewer if you’re wearing your gasmask.

You pop up in the middle of West Ardougne. You can talk to people to figure out what’s going on, and you can take off your gas mask.. In any case, you have to talk to a guy called Jethrick. I hope you picked up the picture, as he’ll tell you where Elena is, and give you a book. The Rehnison’s place is directly north of the ‘town center’. Talking to the child upstairs reveals that Elena was kidnapped and is being held in the southeast corner of town.

The building is barred by mourners, which say that because of the X on the doors, the house is plagued. You have to talk to the head mourner or the warden to gain access. The head mourner is useless, ignore him. Go to the main building in the town square and speak to the clerk. Tell him that the matter is urgent to talk to Bravek. He gives you the list of ingredients to cure his hangover.

You need a bucket of milk, chocolate dust, and snape grass. To get chocolate dust, grind a piece of chocolate. Give the cure to Bravek, and he’ll give you a Warrant.

Enter the house where Elena is being held. Downstairs, Elena will tell you to search for the key. Search the various items in the house, then unlock the door. You’ve freed Elena.

Return and talk to Edmund.

Congratulations! Quest Complete!

Rewards: 1 Quest Point, Ardougne Teleport Spell, and 2425 Mining Experience

Lost City Quest

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Skill Requirements: 31 Crafting & 36 Woodcutting and able to defeat a level 101 without armor or weapons.
Item Requirements: Knife, Hatchet, Food
Reward: 3 Quest Points, access to the Lost City.
Start Point: West of Lumbridge there is a gathering of about 4 NPC’s. A warrior, a mage, etc. So just walk sort of south-west from Lumbridge and you shoul see the ‘Quest-Starts-Here’ symbol.

Talk with the NPC’s until they tell you that they are searching for Zanaris and that a leperchaun can give you more information. Have your hatchet ready for this part. Look around for a tree that says ‘Chop Tree’, not ‘Chop Down Tree’.

When you attempt to chop it, Shamus the leprechaun will pop out. Question him, and he reveals that you need to enter the shed in the Lumbridge Swamp while wielding a Dramenwood Staff, cut from a Dramen Tree. He explains that Dramen trees are found on Entrana.

Of course, this is a problem. Entrana is a monk island with no weapons or armor allowed. To get around this, you can do one of the following:

-Fight barehanded with potions.
-Take wood and bowstring with you, and fletch yourself a bow.
-Take runes to throw magery.

Whatever you choose depends on your forte. I’d only recommend the first if you are extremely strong. Either way, you want to take food.

Once your there, travel east across the bridge. Then you should see a building with a monk in it. Go down the ladder.

Now that you went down the ladder, your prayer will be lowered, so that’s no longer an option. Now you will near a few zombies. Kill them until you get a bronze hatchet, so you’re able to cut the dramen tree.

Once you acquire the hatchet, run past the greaters into the room with a tree. Try to chop it and the tree spirit will pop out. Kill it with super potion sets, ranging, or maging. Or, be a man and fight it with your fists of fury. Either way. Once you kill the spirit, chop the tree to gather some dramen branches, 2 or 3 is fine.

After you kill it, axe off a few dramen branches and teleport out. Or you can waltz through the magic door and end up in lvl 32 wilderness. Your choice.

Use a knife with the branches so you have staffs. Now you may travel into the Lumbridge Swamp until you reach the tiny shack. Wield your dramen staff, and open the door. You will be instantly teleported into The Lost City of Zanaris.
