TEXT - GET NOTICED CHEATS, HINTS, TIPS ON RUNESCAPE

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

No-one usually listens to you when you try and sell your axe or armour. Your yellow writing is not noticed very much. No-one can hear you. Well what can you do about it? type in “@ran@ message” (replace message with anything you want) and your text will turn into a flashing rainbow, and everybody will see! Also try out all these different colors - @red@ @bla@ @blu@ @gre@ @whi@, try making up some of your own and see if they work. You can also change the color for each part of the text. For example if I wanted to say bronze battle axe for sale multicolored I would type this:@gre@ Bronze @bla@ battle @red@ axe @blu@ for @gre@ sale! If used at the right moments it can attract lots of attention!

More Text: If you type @mag@ u get a cool magnetic colour(light purple). If you type @cya@ you will talk in a light blue (they colour when players send pirvate messages to you). If you type @ran@ the letteres will flas together this is good for geting attention but lots of people know it. Less people will use @mag@ or @cya@.
Different coloured text list: To talk in a different coloured text, type @, then enter the first three letters of the color, then type another @, without spaces. For example, if you type @blu@, your text will appear blue.
Below is a list of colours and letters to use:
bla = Black, blu = Blue, cya = Cyan, dre = Dark red, gr1 = Green1, gr2 = Green2, gr3 = Green3, gre = Green, lre = Light Red, mag = Magenta, or1 = Orange1, or2 = Orange2, or3 = Orange3, ora = Orange, ran = Random, flashing text, red = Red, whi = White, yel = Yellow (normal colour).

Runescape EASTER EGGS

EASTER EGGS
One:
On the 4th of April 2005 Jagex added in “Dragon Plates” If you speak to Diango in Draynor village he said that these plates were meant to come on Friday (1st of April) but they were held up by pirates because they thought they were some kind of armour, but they are infact Plates with a dragon on them.
Two: On Runescape 2 in any members world, you may be one of the lucky people to see Bob, he is a cat based on a real cat they keep in the Jagex office over in England(according to Mod Daniel), and he can be seen anywhere in Runescape and when it examines it says, “The Jagex Cat” Every time the system updates, he is reset back to the garden in Burthorpe, where he once again starts his journey across the land of Runescape

Three: Go to Karajama Island. Go past the banana grove until you get to the scorpions. When you get there, go down the ladder and pass the skeletons. You will find red spider eggs. You need to be at least over level 30.
Four: Kill high level monsters such as White Knight, Ice Giants, etc. on October 31 to receive Halloween masks. There are three different colors.
Five: Kill high level monsters such as White Knight, Ice Giants, etc. on December 25 to receive a Santa hat.
Six: Use any herring with any tree on RuneScape. You will get the message “This is not the mightiest tree in the forest.” This is a reference to ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’, where the Knights’ Who No Longer Say Ni demand “Find the mightiest tree in the forest and cut it down with鈥擜 Herring!”

Runescape Chat Effects

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Did you know that you could change the colors and add animations or effects to your text? I’m sure you have seen someone do this at some point in the game. A lot of times, people use this tip to draw attention to things they are selling. In any of these colors, animations, or effects, they code always goes before the message.

First, I will name the colors I know.
禄 Red
禄 Cyan
禄 Purple
禄 White
禄 Green
禄 Purple

An example would be; “red: Zammy owns you!!!” or “cyan: Saradomin Pwns you!!!”. Now I will name the effects and what they do.

Runescape Chat

glow1: Text fades red to blue.
glow2: Text fades red to purple to blue.
glow3: Text fades white to green to blue.
flash1: Text cycles red to yellow quickly.
flash2: Text cycles blue to cyan quickly.
flash3: Text cycles green to light green quickly.

Now I will name the animations;

Slide: Text slides from top to bottom.
scroll: Text scrolls right to left.
shake: Text shakes up and down.
wave: Text waves up and down.
wave2: Text waves slowly from left to right.

Runescape Chat 2

You could mix these together and get many different colors. Some examples would be;

Cyan: scroll: <>< <>< <>< Fishie! <>< <>< <><
Green: wave: ~~~~~~OCEAN! ~~~~~
flash3: slide: bsell 100K for all!

You can have a lot of fun with these Runescape Chat Effects. If you’re bored fishing, then why not try the first or second example I put there. It gets everyone pumped up and ready to fish more! Using it for selling is also a good trick. If you have 40 people there, typing all yellow text and you put red: Selling full rune! You’re going to get noticed. The idea with selling is to get the word out, and if you use a red text in an ocean of yellow, which is going to get read first, all the yellow, or the red words? The red ones of course.

Runescape Chat 3

I really like the scroll: animation. You can do quite a few things with it. I will name some of my favorite things for it.

The animation scroll: makes the words scroll across the screen going from left to right. Therefore, if you make things face that way, it looks like they are walking, swimming, or flying.

If you fishing, of course making a big long stream of <>< can be fun. Something like this:

<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

I like to leave a little space so that it has one last fish trailing behind the group.

I also like to make what looks like Kirby. There are many you could make of him, so let me show you them.

< (^. ^<) (>^. ^<) < (^. ^)> (>^. ^)> These are the most common. Therefore, if you were to take the first one and add some words you would get something like this:

< (^. ^<) ~KIRBY! ~

This would scroll across the screen and look awesome. There are a lot of little things you can make using text, and far too many to name. Some of the more common ones are; =), :), = (, :(, and so on. As I said, I could spend loads of hours here writing all the faces you can make using the = and : signs.

Runescape Chat 4

Now that you have a basic idea of chat colors, effects, animations, and a few emotions, why not go out and try them? Who knows, you might even invent some of your own!

Happy Playing!
