Runescape - Area Guides - Cities and Towns - Seers’ Village (Members)

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

The Seers’ Village is a small town that was originally settled by a number of people with a particular gift for seeing the future. There are still a few of them around, but they’re a bit of a minority. You can always tell them by their white clothes and hair.

The town also plays host to Camelot, which has settled in RuneScape while it waits for its glorious return to England. In the meantime, the Knights of the Round Table are happy to wander about the grounds while they wait for a quest.

Location

A map of Seers’ Village

The Seers’ Village lies on the narrow strip of land that connects Kandarin to Asgarnia, and Kandarin to the Fremennik Province.

The capital of Kandarin, East Ardougne and West Ardougne, lies far to the south-west of the Seers’ Village.

To the north, beyond Sinclair Mansion, is Rellekka, home town of the Fremennik people.

Just east lies Catherby, and to the west, past the Baxtorian Waterfall, is the Tree Gnome Stronghold.

Points of Interest

Seers’ Village’s points of interest

The Seers’ Village is made for Fletching. There are a wide range of trees around the village, and a flax field. Combined with this, there is a spinning wheel upstairs in the seers’ house. Pacing up and down the main street is a Town Crier, who is more than happy to explain the Rules of Conduct and the role of Player Moderators.

There is also Camelot, an impressive castle filled with noble and chivalrous knights, as well as King Arthur and Merlin the wizard. If you have completed King’s Ransom, you will have access to the knights’ training room at the top of the castle.

Coal can also be brought to the village from a mine beyond McGrubor’s Wood by using the coal trucks.

Personalities

King Arthur
King Arthur is the legendary king of England who, since retiring from ruling the nation and questing for the Holy Grail, has decided to settle in RuneScape. He is the very symbol of honour and chivalry.

Merlin
Merlin was once the most powerful wizard in the world, but his powers have been greatly weakened by his clashes with Arthur’s half-sister, Morgan le Faye. He is now imprisoned in a giant crystal, unable to aid King Arthur or the knights.
King Arthur can be found in Camelot, pacing around the Round Table.   Merlin can be found in the top of the south-east tower of Camelot.
Sir Lancelot
Where would Arthur be without Lancelot, his most skilled knight? Possibly in better shape, as it was Lancelot that wooed Guinevere away from Arthur, leading to the King having a son, Mordred, with Morgan. Lancelot is a powerful knight, though, and Arthur is lucky to have his loyalty.

Sir Kay
Before Arthur was recognised as King of England, he lived with Sir Kay’s family and worked as Kay’s squire. Kay wasn’t particularly nice to Arthur then, but when Arthur was announced to be the true king of England, Kay was among the first to declare his loyalty.
Lancelot can be found on the first floor of Camelot.   Sir Kay can be found in Camelot’s courtyard.
Sir Gawain
When the Green Knight came upon Sir Gawain he instructed Gawain to kill him with a single blow, which he did. The Green Knight, however, could not be killed so easily, and a year later Gawain had to return the favour. Luckily for Gawain, he was wearing a magic girdle that protected him.

Sir Lucan
Sir Lucan is one of King Arthur’s most devoted knights. His devotion is such that, should King Arthur ever require it, he would gladly lay down his life.
Sir Gawain can be found near the Round Table.   Sir Lucan can be found near the Round Table.
Sir Palomedes
Sir Palomedes is most famous for hunting the Questing Beast, a vile creature with the head of a serpent, the body of a leopard, the back legs of a lion, and the hooves of a hart. The Questing Beast nearly defeated Sir Palomedes, but his strength and skill saved him in the end.

Sir Tristram
Sir Tristram first came to Camelot having already defeated Sir Palomedes in a joust, and before he was admitted to the Round Table he also knocked Arthur from his horse in another joust. Sir Tristram is probably the finest jouster in the court, perhaps equalled by Sir Lancelot.
Sir Palomedes can be found near the Round Table.   Sir Tristram can be found on the first floor of Camelot.
Sir Pelleas
Sir Pelleas was a bit of an unfortunate figure during his time in England. He fell in love with a woman who did not like him, and then was enchanted to fall in love with a sorceress. Now that he is in RuneScape, he is freed from such nastiness.

Sir Bedivere
Sir Bedivere is King Arthur’s oldest knight, and has aided him on more than one occasion. Together they slew the Giant of Mont St Michel, and it was Bedivere that returned the sword Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake.
Sir Pelleas can be found on the first floor of Camelot.   Sir Bedivere can be found on the first floor of Camelot.
The Poison Salesman
The Poison Salesman aims to eventually be able to sell his poisons and other concoctions across RuneScape. His main method of salesmanship, though, seems to be his red hair and giving his products long names like ‘Peter Potter’s Patented Multipurpose Poison’.

Phantuwti Fanstuwi Farsight
Despite having an almost unpronounceable name, Phantuwti Fanstuwi Farsight is the leader of the Seers. This must mean that he is full of wisdom, but it’s difficult to prove.
The Poison Salesman can be found either in the town tavern, or at the road junction heading north from the Seers’ Village.   Phantuwti Fanstuwi Farsight can be found in the seers’ house, south of the tavern

Runescape TEMPLE OF IKOV QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: A dark stranger called Lucien asks you to retrieve an artefact known as the Staff of Armadyl. Speak to him in the Flying Horse Inn in Ardougne.
Quest difficulty level: Hard.
Reward: 10.000 range exp, some fletching exp, Light key (Used to re-enter the house at McGrubber’s woods), Pendant of Lucian, Pendant of Armady.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Skills: Level 42 thieving and level 40 ranged.
Required Items: Lit candle (Use a tinderbox with a candle), weapon with a slash attack, a yew or magic bow, and 20 limpwurt roots.
TEMPLE OF IKOV QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Firstly: Get the Pendant of Lucien and go to the dungeon north-east of Ardougne.
Enter the dungeon: Head west and you’ll see some stairs leading off to an area that is completely black. Go in. If you have the candle with you, the room will be lit up. If not, it will be black and dark.
Boots of Lightness: Slash the web in front of the only red dot in the room and take the boots. These boots take away 4kg from your weight and are very useful.
Room of Fear: As you go back up the stairs, put on your Pendant of Lucien and try to open the gate to the north. If you don’t have it on, you will jump back in fear. If not, you will enter a room with level 45 skeletons.
Lever: Head to the bridge to your west. Put on your boots and make sure your weight is 0kg or less; cross over and take the lever piece.
Traps: Cross over the bridge to the main area and head north. You will see a lever above a trap door. Search the trap door for traps and disable them. Then pull the lever.
Second lever: Go to the entrance room and search around for the lever bracket. Use your lever piece with it and pull. Then head through the south gate.
Ice arrows: Walk along the path fighting (or avoiding) the ice spiders (level 61) until you see jutting areas with chests. Search the chests for ice arrows and gather as many as you can. If you have searched all of them, go back and search them again. You need about 20-25 to kill the next monster. Head back to the area by the first lever after you finish.
Fire warrior: Go to the rocks with broken arrows around it and enter that door. Open the opposite door and the Fire Warrior will pop up. Equip the ice arrows and shoot him until he dies. (Note: He is a mage, so protect from magic helps a lot). After he dies, the door you tried to open will let you pass.
The lava: As you notice, there is lava blocking your path. Talk to Winelda and give her the 20 limpwurt roots; she will pass you over the fire.
Shiny key: Run through the area, past the ladder and past the odd wall to the very end and get the key. Run back to the wall and push on it. Here you have a choice in how you choose to finish. However, the reward is not changed.
GOOD SIDE: Take off your Pendant of Lucian and talk to the guardians. Tell them that you are after the staff because Lucian sent you and that you need a bath. They clean you and ask you to side with them. If you do, they will give you the Pendant of Armadyl. It will allow you to attack Lucian.
Put it on, and climb the ladder and exit.
BAD SIDE: Take the staff and exit. You may have to fight the guardians if you walk back through the wall.
Lucian: Go north of Varrock; you will find a lone house. Enter it and kill Lucian or give him the staff.

Runescape LOST CITY QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Forest between Lumbridge and Draynor Village.
Quest difficulty level: Hard.
Reward: Access to the Lost City, ability to buy Dragon Long Sword and Dragon Dagger from shops there (need a cut diamond to get in to this area).
Quest points gained: 3.
Required Skills: Level 31 Crafting, 36 Woodcutting, be able to kill a level 101 Tree Spirit,
Required Items: Hatchet, knife.
LOST CITY QUEST WALKTHROUGH
To start the quest first head to Draynor Village, south east of the prison, you will find a camp with 4 adventurers: a monk, a wizard, a warrior, and a ranger.
If you question one of them they will start to reveal to you the whereabouts of Zanaris. When questioning them, try to act stupid, ask who Zanaris is for example. (Zanaris is a place not a person) and eventually they will tell you about a leprechaun they’re looking for.
To find this leprechaun you will need a hatchet. Nearby to the adventurers you will find a well. The first tree north west of this well is slightly different to all the trees around it, it will have the option of “chop tree” instead of “chop down tree”. Make sure you are wielding your hatchet, and chop the tree. When you do this a little fella in green called Shamus should appear.
If you talk to him he will tell you how to enter Zanaris: with a staff carved from the dramen tree found on Entrana. To gain access to Entrana you won’t be allowed to bring any weapons, apart from capes, amulets, and robes, and runes. You may also wish to bring some fletching and crafting items to make your own rangers armour and weapons on the island. You can bring leather, needles, threads, headless arrows, arrow heads, unstrung bows, and bow strings to the island. You may also bring all the runes you want to. If you want good equipment bring a friend with high crafting and/or fletching to make you some stuff, or make some yourself. You may also wish to bring prayer pots, or other pots, and food.
Once on Entrana head east, cross the bridge then head west until you see a cave monk. If you try to access the ladder he will warn you about the evilness in it. You will only be able to exit by teleporting or going through a portal into high level wilderness, so its recommended you bring a teleport spell or dragon ammy.
Once you climb down the ladder your prayer will be drained to a very low level. You will also come across some zombies. Kill them until you have a bronze hatchet, and possibly a bronze med. Up ahead are some greater demons guarding the portal (do not go through the portal). If you’re lucky you might get some steel or mithril armour, or even a rune full helmet. Further on is the dramen tree. You wont be able to cut a branch from it yet though, if you try a level 101 tree spirit will attack you. You must defeat it, range, melee, or magic, just kill it! When you have, you will be allowed to cut all the dramen branches you want! Get one, or a couple if you wish (use your bronze hatchet you got from the zombies) and teleport out of there.
Now head towards Draynor bank, and withdraw a knife. Use the knife on the branch to make yourself a dramen staff! Wield the staff and now head towards the adventurers where you started. Talk to the adventurers and gloat about what you’ve done before you head east. Past the swamp you will find a small shed, if you enter, wielding your dramen staff, your world will start to shimmer and you’re in Zanaris.

After getting the large pouch, put your orb into it. Go to Entrana through the Abyss by choosing the law-portal. In Entrana, go to the temple and use the Orb-filled pouch on the altar there. After the cutscenes head back to the monk who gave you the quest. When you get to the monk, you will find out that he’s dead. Go back to Entrana and talk to the High Priest there. The High Priest will tell you to contact Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park. Go talk to him. This completes the quest.

Runescape BIG CHOMPY BIRD HUNTING QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: South-east from the Ogre city (Gu’Tanoth) from the watchtower quest. Speak to an ogre named Rantz. He is hungry and wants you to help him make arrows for his unusually large bow, so he can hunt the Chompy Bird.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: Few exp in ranged (around 700), cooking (around 1500) and fletching (300), Ogre bow, ability to fletch ogre arrows and ability to cook Chomby bird.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 5 Fletching, Level 30 Cooking, Level 30 Ranging, ability to kill level 64 wolves and defend yourself from level 48 and level 70 ogres.
Required Items: Woodcutting axe, feathers (around 50 to 100, just to be safe), knife, chisel, weapon and armor (to kill a wolf, and defend yourself from ogres).
BIG CHOMPY BIRD HUNTING QUEST WALKTHROUGH
First step is to walk a little to the south from him and chop yourself some logs from the Achey trees. You’ll need around 5 logs - Rantz himself wants 6 arrows and you will probably want a few of your own.
Next, all around the hill area you are in you will encounter wolves. Go a little further south west from the Achey trees and you will find one. Kill a couple and use your chisel on their bones. Then, fletch arrows as per usual - use knife on logs, use feathers on shafts and use tips on feathered shafts. You need around 10 arrows.
Head back to Rantz and present him with the arrows. He then tells you about the toads, that his two sons like to play with. Remember to ask him all the questions you can, or else you wont be able to open the chest. Next step is to talk to the boys, which are inside a cave directly north from Rantz. On your way you will notice the ogre spitroast.
Speak to the boys and you discover they use a bellows to inflate the toads for fun - charming. They also tell you their father took the bellows off them and locked it in a chest, which you will find in the north-west part of the cave. Open it and search to find the bellows.
Head back down to where you found the wolves, and just to the west you will find a swamp. Try using the bellows on a toad - it tells you that the air is too thin. The solution is to use it on the swamp bubbles you will find in the swamp, at the southern end of the swamp pond. You get three shots with the gas filled bellows before you need to fill it again. Use the bellows on a toad again and you will be able to catch it. Get a few - at least three.
Head back to Rantz and present the toads to him. He will show you where you need to place them to lure the birds out.
Go down and place a toad on the spot. Rantz will take a shot at it, but he will miss. If you speak to him, he complains that your arrows are weak. Ask him to give you a go at shooting. He gives you his bow.
Head back down and place another toad. Wield the bow and arrows you have left, when the bird appears, range it. You’ll kill it fairly easily. Pluck the carcass and take the raw bird back to Rantz. He wants you to cook it as well.
He’ll tell you to ask the children what they would like with their dinner. Its different from person to person what they want on their Chompy, but here’s a quick list of where to get it all:
Onion: To the west of the swamp, there’s a fire and some ogres, right around there.
Doogle leaf: North-west of the swamp, respawn of 4.
Equa Leaf: You can get this south-east of Rantz, south of the place you placed your toad for the bait.
Tomato: South of the Wolfs.
Cabbage: North of the swamp where there is a bear.
Potato: south-east of Rantz.
Use the bird on the spitroast. Present Rantz with his delicious seasoned Chompy bird and the quest is complete.

NPC: Ava, Alice, Alice’s husband, Witch, Turael.
ANIMAL MAGNETISM QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Head north of Draynor Village to Draynor Manor. Speak with Ava and she will ask you to help fix her bed as well as to find a few undead chickens. Make sure you have your amulet of ghostspeak. Travel to Port Phasmatys. There, speak to Alice at the farm house northwest of the town. she will tell you to speak with her husband, who is a ghost. After talking to her husband, he will ask you to go back and speak with his wife again. After your second conversation with Alice, she will send you back to her husband once again asking for their stockpile of gold. Before you receive the undead chickens, you’ll be sent to Old Crone who will create a second Ghost Speak Amulet called the Crone-made Amulet. The Old Crone can be found north of Canifis. Head back to Alice’s husband and give him the Crone’s Amulet. He will catch a chicken. After this you can buy the chickens for 10 Ecto-tokens each.
Head back to Ava and give her the chickens. She will tell you that you need a Magnet to receive your reward and to speak with the witch next door. Ask the witch about natural magnetic fields and she will tell you to retrieve five iron bars. When you have five iron bars, head back to the witch. She’ll hand you an iron bar and tell you to go to Rimmington Mine. Hit your Iron bar with a hammer while facing north. When you do this, you’ll do an emote and create a selector iron.

Head back to Draynor Manor and give Ava the bar. You will now need a piece of wood that can regenerate itself. Use your axe on a living tree inside the Manor yard. You’re axe will bounce off the tree. Head back to Ava and tell her. She advises you to see Turael in Burthrope. Go see Turael in Burthrope, just east of the pub, and he’ll tell you he will give you his axe for a Mithril axe and a Symbol of Saradomin. Give these items to him if you have them. If you don’t have them, go to the Al Kharid Chasm mine and mine one silver, four coal and one mithril ore. Either superheat or take them to the furnace in Al Kharid (buy holy symbol mold from Dommik’s Crafting store in east Al Kharid). Smelt the ores, make the holy symbol, string it, and get it blessed at either the Monastery (west of Edgeville) or use a complete Guthix or Saradomin Prayer book. Take a hammer, mithril bar, and blessed holy symbol to Burthorpe again, smith the mithril axe at Denulth’s anvil (just east of the castle) and then give it to Turael. When you’re back to Turael, speak to him again, and he’ll give you a Blessed Axe for your Mithrl axe and Holy symbol. Head back to the courtyard of Draynor Manor and chop down one of the haunted “alive” trees (the ones that attack you) to receive some undead twigs. When you have them head back to Ava.

After speaking to Ava you’ll be given some notes on how to contain the arrows that need to be translated. Click the green buttons to turn the part off. Turn off all buttons except 2, 5, and 9. Speak to Ava again. She’ll give you a pattern and tell you to get a bit of hard leather and some buttons. To obtain buttons go to the HAM hideout, found between Lumbridge and Draynor. When you’re inside, pick-pocket HAM members until you get some buttons. Once you have the Hard Leather and Buttons, polish the buttons (left click option), then use them on the Pattern and you’ll get a Container. Go back to Ava. Talk to Ava again and she will assemble the accumulator.

Big Chompy Bird Hunting Walkthrough

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

What you need: 100 or more feathers (can be done with less but they’re cheap so why not play it safe?), a knife, an axe for chopping trees, a chisel and 6-10 wolf bones. You can gain wolf bones from level 64 wolves that are near the quest giver, but if you’re lower level you might consider spending around 4000 gold to buy them from the exchange.
Skill Requirements: 30 cooking, 30 ranged and 5 fletching
The Quest Reward: 2 quest points, 262 fletching xp, 1470 cooking xp, 735 ranged xp and the ability to make ogre arrows and wield them with the ogre bow.

This quest is started by talking to Rantz, an ogre located in an area called Feldip Hills, southeast of Yanille. Look for the quest marker on the map. You can get there easily by using a ring of dueling to teleport to Castle Wars arena then walking southeast (follow the impassable southern wall for a while and turn south when you’re passing Gu’tanoth). Rantz’s first task for you is to make some ogre arrows, specifically a set of six. You will want to make more for the hunting of a big chompy bird later. The only special item you need here is the Achey tree, which can be found just south of Rantz and more southwest around the swamp. The swamp is also a good place for higher levels to gather wolf bones free.

Once you’ve collected about 6 logs from Achey trees, carve them with your knife into ogre arrow shafts. Flight the arrow shafts by combining them with feathers, then use the chisel on wolf bones to make the arrowheads. Finally, combine the flighted shafts with the arrowheads (right click the arrow selection and choose make all to speed thngs up).

When you’ve got your arrows, give them to Rantz and he will tell you that you now need fat toadies. Listen to everything he has to say (click all the questions). When you’ve heard it out, go north into the cave and talk to his children. They’ll tell you they had an ogre bellows that they aren’t allowed to play with any more. It’s in the chest to the northwest. Choose unlock to remove the rocks from the top and snag the bellows. Now head back to the swamp.

Try to use the bellows on a frog and it’ll tell you to try some denser air. Use the bellows on the swamp bubbles (gross) and then try the frogs again. They’ll blow up. You’ll be allowed to catch three of them at once. Return to Rantz and ask him where to put the frogs, and he’ll point to the south. Go to where the marker is flashing and place a frog. Run away and talk to Rantz and let him know you placed the bait, then stay back. He’ll shoot at the bird when it comes. When he misses, offer to give it a go. Equip your bow and arrows and head south and place the bait again then scoot a full screen away. You can adjust the camera to see the bird at long range and lay in on him. You should have the opportunity to get a few shots off. Try using rapid fire or accurate shots. If you need to try more than two times, head back to the swamp and get more toads.

When you’ve finally got the meat, your cooking skill will come into play. Talk to Rantz again to find out what seasoning he would like. He’ll tell you to ask his boys what they’d want as well. The vegetables are in the following locations: Onion, Doogle Leaf and Tomato are west of the swamp. The onions come from the ground and a tomato can be found on the second stool from the swamp. Cabbage and Potato are both to be found southeast of Rantz. Equa Leaves are southeast of Rantz as well, but on a peninsula. When you’ve got all the ingredients, head back to the spit and cook the Big Chompy Bird meal. Talk to Rantz to wrap things up.

How to Own in Bounty Hunter on RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

This guide will explain how to train and own in Bounty Hunter. If you didnt know already, Bounty Hunter is a Runescape minigame. Only selected few worlds cater for Bounty Hunter. This minigame is for non members also and is a player vs player game only. If you just want the actual Bounty Hunter guide and not the training scroll down until you reach the heading ‘Bounty Hunter. But you can’t own if you are a noob, can you?

Steps

Create an account. Choose a catchy, unique username like ‘D34d Hybr1d’ or D34d R4nq3rz’. Once chosen, complete Tutorial Island.
Head to Barbarian Village and complete Stronghold of Security and Player Safety. You should have acquired 20k and two lamps. Rub both lamps and choose to level up ranged on both of them. You should have level 10 ranged now.
Ranged Training

Start training ranged. Food isn’t really neccesary here as you will be fighting in safe spots a lot, but it wouldn’t hurt to take several foods for the those trips back to the bank, when you have to leave your safe spot.
Take out from your bank, your Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow, Willow Shortbow, Maple Shortbow and Bronze Arrows. Equipt the Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow and Bronze Arrows.
Go to the Chicken Coop and train on Chickens until level 20 ranged. Always pick up most of your arrows and arrows are quiet expensive if you are a low level player. If you wish you may want to collect the chicken drops, such as the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the raw chicken for leveling up your cooking level or the bones if you wish to get up your prayer level.
Once at level 20 ranged equip your Willow Shortbow and train on cows. Remember again, to pick up your arrows. You may wish to pick up the cow hides to sell for 100gp+ each, the bones for prayer,or the raw meat for cooking.
Once level 30 you are ready to move on from the Cows. Head to the Dwarven Mine and find the scorpions. There should be a few rocks (near some stairs) which you can use as a safe spot. Picking up arrows is optional here as you may get attacked by scorpians if you leave the safe spot. Scorpians do not drop anything.
At level 40 Ranged there are three monsters you can train on, Hill Giants, white knights, or you can continue to kill scorpians. Hill Giants are located in Edgeville sewers or you can access the direct Hill Giants lair (Near Varrock) with a brass key. These monsters are level 28. There should be a safe spot at the end of the lair. Again, you may or may not wish to pick up your arrows. Hill Giants give you best drops out of all the monsters you have trained on. Big Bones can be sold for 400-500gp each and if your lucky they may occasionaly drop Limpwurts used for herblore or sold for 600-700gp each.
When you reach 60 Ranged you may wish to stop or have a break from leveling up your ranged. If you you wish to continue to 60+ Ranged it’s suggested to go to Karajama and train on Lesser Demons. These babies are level 82 and hit 8’s, but don’t worry there is a couple of safe spots. Lesser’s drop runes, money (up to 600gp),very rarely rune medium helmets, and other worthwhile items. Here you should pick up your arrows and drops as the lessers are very slow at reacting.
Attack and Strength Training

Take plenty of food with you when training, just incase some monsters are too powerful for your 1 defence. Remember that you will be fighting in close combat, unlike ranged, so you will always be under attack.
If you havn’t already sold or used any of your drops from training on ranged it’s suggestted you do. Once you have done that, go to a bank and take out the following: Iron Scimitar, Steel Scimitar, Black Longsword (scimitar costs 4k and sells slowly), Mithril Scimitar and Rune Scimitar. You can put back all your ranged gear as you will not need it for this part.
Head to the Chicken Coop in Lumbridge and train your attack and strength to level 10. Again, you mayt wish to pick up the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the bones for prayer or the raw chickens for cooking.
Once you have reached 10 Attack and Strength head north of Falador and enter the monastory. There should be level 5 monks, with 15 HP! These guys are equivelent to the well known, members Rock Crabs or Experiments. If you have 24 prayer ocassionaly you may find a Monk drops a Monk Robe, pick it up, its worth 200-300gp each. They drop bones if you want prayer levels.
If you have reached level 20 attack and strength, congratulations! Head back to cows and go train on cows. Cows drop bones for prayer, raw meat for cooking, and cowhides, which sell for 100gp and over. Cows are a great money maker and monster as they have a hitpoints ratio of 4!
Finally, you may have reached 40 attack and strength, you can finally equip the ultimate weopon, the Rune Scimitar. Now, this is where the strength kicks in by itself. Head to the Stronghold of Security and start fighting the flesh crawlers or zombies, which are located in Level 2 of the dungeon. These guys don’t drop anything, so once you kill one, attack another one! Train on these for a while until you reach level 60 strength. Remember to never, ever get your attack higher the 40!
At 60+ strength you may have some difficulty trying to find a good training monster as you want fast xp but you dont want to fight a high level monster; as you have 1 defence. Well… the solution is; Red Spiders. These can be found in Varrock Sewers or Stronghold of Secrurity on level 3. The good thing about these creepy crawlys is that they always stay in a close knit group, so you will always find a kill. Food is important here as they hit a couple of 3’s every few kills. Spiders usually have a few egg respawns. Red Spider Eggs sell for 450gp.
Congratulations, if you have mastered 40 attack and at least 60 strength you have completed this part of training. Melle attack will be your most effective form of attack in Bounty Hunter, as most of your opponents will be Rangers.
Magic Training
The only reason to get your magic up is to use bind (20) and Bounty Locate (32). Magic isn’t effective in Bounty Hunter as most of your enemies will use ranged attacks.
Go to a bank and sell or use all your drops you got from training attack and strength. Desposit all your equipment except your Amulet of Power. Withdraw your Staff of Air, Mind Runes and Chaos Runes.
Go to the Cow Farm in Lumbridge and stand outside the fence. As magic attacks can be casted from a fair distance away, standing outside walls stop you from getting hit. Put your auto cast on to wind strike; attack the cows.
You are one or two more steps away from completing your beginner training to own in Bounty Hunter. Now, you will be using your chaos runes. Put auto cast on to wind bolt. Attack the cows until level 32 magic. Now you can use all the strike attacks, most bolt attack, low alchemy, Varrock Teleport, Lumbridge Teleport and the one and only… Bounty Locate!
You have finished your Magic training.Don’t worry about getting your magic level up anymore as magic isn’t effective against rangers, unless it is bind (5 second freeze).
Bounty Hunter

Hopefully you have succefully completed your training without dieing, and getting up your stats to: 40 attack, 60+ strength, 60+ Ranged, 32 Magic and you are under level 55 combat!
Bounty Hunter is a replacement for pking in the wilderness. Although this minigame is greatly disliked by a minority (pures), it is still very popular and competitive. What you are aiming for is to own in the low level crater. If you exceed level 55 combat your pure is ruined for life if your main objective is to player kill.
Put your run and have your maple shortbow and 100 adamant arrows equited. Step inside the low level Bounty Hunter crater.
Imediately upon entering you will be invincible for 6 seconds. In that 6 seconds use Bounty Locate spell and start ranging your opponent.
When your opponent gets to 1/3 of his/her health wield your Rune Scimitar and continue to attack your target. When she/he reaches 1/4 of there health pull out your Rune 2h Sword and kill them!
If they do not die. Start Ranging them until they get to 1/4 of there HP,
KO them and hopefully it should kill them. If you attempt to KO them
more then two times repeat the range then 2h method.
Once you kill them imediately eat again, to full health. Pick up the most valuable items first until you have no more inventory space. If you need to eat food to pick up something, access the risk: ‘Is it worth more then the swordfish?’ and ‘Can I sell it quickly or wear it?’ if you think yes to one of the following, pick it up.
If you have a team member, friend or another person ask to have something, do not reply and run out of the crater. If you did not kill your target then you will have a 180 sec penalty, which means you can’t leave the arena for 3 minutes. In that time people may attack you, so let them chase you around. When you lose them or cover a fair distance apart teleport to your target and repeat it need be. Thats why you need 5 Bounty Locate teleports.

Runescape Money Making Guide Part1

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Money Making Guide

The first part of a Runescape guide that will show you some easy ways to make money.

To Make Money you Need Money

Plain and simple, just as it states! This is a simple rule in Runescape, before you can make BIG money you have to have some to start off with. Think of it as in real life; Do you think that Bill Gates woke up one morning with 5 million dollars in his bank account? NO, he started small and gradu- ally made it BIG.

There are a few easy ways to earn your first 50,000 to 100,000 gp. After you have earned this starting cash we will then show you the secrets of get- ting rich. But first things first: The first, easiest, and most common way is to kill chickens.

Members use feathers all the time for making arrows to raise their range or fletching levels. Simple enough right? Kill the chickens and collect the feathers. The chickens will drop between 5-15 feathers when they are killed. (If you are interested in raising your range or combat levels please refer to the combat/range/mage guides.

Listed below are the prices that people are currently buying for:

Free Worlds: 6-9gp each.
Members Worlds: 11-15gp each.
I know this may not sound like alot of money, but you have to think BIG. To make money with anything you have to sell in bulk amounts If you are F2P (free to play player), then you should always try to sell in World 1, if World 1 is full then log into the next busiest world, and so on.

More Ways to Get Your Starting GP

Luckily collecting feathers is not your only option! (Trust me, I know how boring this can get!) Another option you may consider, is to mine Rune Essence. In order to be able to mine Essence you will need to complete the Rune Mystery Quest first.

You can start this quest by talking to the King in Lumbridge castle. After you have completed the quest you will be able to teleport to the Rune Essence Mines. The easiest way to do this is to go to the Varrock Rune Shop south of the west bank. Here you can right click or talk to Aubury. He will then teleport you to the mines.

Once you have mined an inventory full of Rune Essence travel back to the bank. Repeat this until you have 1k or more Rune Essence.

Members Options

If you are a member you have a slight advantage. Members can make an easy 50k to 100k per hour at a lvl 3!! To achieve this all you need is a knife and an axe. You will be making arrow shafts.

All you need to do now is empty your inventory, keeping an axe and a knife only. Then just go start cutting down trees (normal trees only!). When you get a full load of wood then use your knife with a log. On the screen that pops up, right click on the arrow shafts, and select “Make X”, then just enter the number of logs that you have.

That would conclude this chapter of my Runescape Money Guide. Be sure to read the other chapters for good info.
