There are many ways to make money on Runescape, from making bars to player killing. The only thing that stands between you and the money is “you”. The only way to receive the money is by building a skill in which you like, the area that you like, and the amount you need to collect. Without these three, this equation or article would have not existed. So by now you must have questions like, “How do I build a skill?” or “where do I begin? Well you should begin with the basics, the equipment.

Would you go to the wilderness without a sword? When building a skill, if you do not have the equipment you are nothing. If you like woodcutting: keep an axe, mining: always keep a pickaxe, smithing: you need ores and a furnace, and fighting: your sword is your best friend. (This will not go over fighting skills; I will soon write a paper for that and how to train fast if you are a non member.)

The first skill that is in the list of nonmember skills is woodcutting. This skill is one of the only skills that gain experience quickly and easily. The trees that you can chop depend on you level, and the cost of the logs depend on how rare the tree. If the logs are rare you get the more money you will get. If you are a level 1(tree) woodcutter the best place to start is at the grand exchange, where are a lot of trees for beginners. Also you may sell the logs or bank them for another use. For level 10- 20 (dead tree and oak) woodcutters, cut oaks in Falador and use the bank at your advantage. To the south there will be two oak logs cut them and bank them, it is easy and I found it affective for me. For level 30-60 woodcutters (willows) there are two choices you may make, bank for sell or drop for experience. If you want to sell go to Draynor village to cut willows to bank them, if you want to chop and drop go to Lumbridge and cut at one willow tree. To do the chop and drop method, you must avoid getting your inventory full. The solution for this is when the tree is gone drop as much as you can before the willow reappears. For level 60 (yews) the best place to cut yews if you just reached this level is Port Sarium. You cannot miss it there is one yew tree, best place for any level woodcutting; to make this less of a hassle you need to be able to teleport to Verrock. The closest bank for the yew tree close to Port sarium is in Draynor Village. You may run back and forth or just walk; it takes a while for the tree to respawn. Another area that has 4 yew trees is at Remington;

Runescape SHEEP HERDER QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Speak to Councillor Halgrive in East Ardougne (east of the general store).
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: 3100gp.
Quest points gained: 4.
Required Items: 100 -150gp.

Halgrive: Councillor Halgrive will tell you a lot of his worries about the plague. Tell him that you will do the job of herding the sheep to their death. You will need some protecting clothes, get these from Doctor Orbon in the chapel just north of Halgrive, he’ll want 100gp for the set. Go to the fenced area to the north of the city and pick up a Prod from the barn.
Sheep 1: Wear your prod, and go to the sheep just south of the barn. Prod the sheep into the fence, it can be a bit tricky at first, but you’ll get the hang of it. Once it’s in the fence, use the poisoned food on it, and take the bones. Use the bones on the furnace in the barn. Running is a good idea by the way, since the sheep might try to escape you, and you need to block their way. Follow this procedure for the other three sheep.
Sheep 2: You’ll find this south-east of the barn.
Sheep 3: This sheep is located north-west of the barn.
Sheep 4: This is located at the fishing guild, north of the barn.
Halgrive: Once you have killed all four sheep, go back to Halgrive and get your reward. This completes the quest.

Runescape ELEMENTAL WORKSHOP II QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Exam Centre at the Dig Site.
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: 7500 Crafting, 7500 Smithing, ability to make and use Elemental Mind equipment.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Quests: Elemental Workshop.
Required Skills: Level 20 Magic, Level 30 Smithing.
Required Items: Hammer, pickaxe, coal.
Monsters: Earth Elemental (level 35).
NPC: None.

ELEMENTAL WORKSHOP II QUEST WALKTHROUGH
To begin the quest go to the Exam Centre at the Dig Site (southeast of Varrock) and search the bookcases in the southeast corner of the examination room until you find a Beaten Book. Read the book and a scroll will fall out. Read this to get directions to the new workshop from the stairs down to the old one. Teleport to Camelot and enter the Elemental Workshop from the first Elemental Workshop quest. Follow the steps listed in the note. You will eventually find yourself in the water chamber and to the east of a pipe. Search it to recieve a key that unlocks a door near the entrance to the Workshop. The new workshop is square-shaped with a track running around the perimeter. There are four broken machines on each side of the square. There are also two staircases leading up to the catwalk area of the new Workshop. Your task in the quest is to repair the four machines in the workshop and then to “prime” an elemental bar.
Search the schematics crate for the plans on how to fix and make a claw. Now head back up to the first Workshop and mine an elemental ore. As with the first quest, you will need to kill an earth elemental to obtain the ore. To save returning here for another bar later on, get two ores and make two bars. When you’ve done this, go smelt it into a bar using the furnace, then smith the bar into a claw using the workbench and return to the second workshop. Click the lowering lever, making certain the crane is facing to the north, and use the elemental bar on the claw to repair it. To fix the pipes, you will need to pick up a spare pipe. This is in a random crate in the workshop. Use the pipe on the broken pipes at the far northern side of the catwalks. To fix the Wind Tube on the eastern side of the second Workshop, you need to find three different cogs: Large, Medium, and Small. These cogs can be found in crates throughout the new Workshop. Use the Small cog on the upper left pin, the Medium cog on the lower left pin and the Large cog on the right pin Operate the lever to make sure you did it right. If you did it correctly it should say the fan is now blowing. To repair the Steam Press on the western side of the new Workshop, climb up to the catwalks and find the Junction Box on the western side. Open the Junction box and arrange the pipes as follows to fix the Steam Press. Click the lower left and lower middle pipes to connect them to each other. Then connect the upper right and upper middle to each other. Click the upper left and lower right pipes to make the final connection. The display closes when it’s finished. All the machines are now fixed.

Before priming an Elemental Bar, make sure the Wind Fan is NOT operating. Click the lever that operates the Cart Jig until the cart is positioned underneath the repaired crane. When the cart arrives at the claw use your Elemental Bar with the cart Lower the claw so it picks the bar up, then raise the claw with the same lever. Click the other lever to swivel the crane over the lava and click the lowering lever to lower it into the lava. Click the lowering lever again to raise the bar up, click the rotating lever to swivel it back to the cart and lower it. Raise it one last time so that the claw is no longer holding the bar and the heated bar is on the cart. Operate the Cart Jig again. The cart should position itself beneath the steam press. Operate the steam press lever which is in front of the pipes on the first floor. The elemental bar should now be flattened as long as the pipes in the Junction Box was positioned correctly. Operate the Cart Jig again so that it moves around to the Water Tank. Open the tank door and click the corkscrew level twice to expand and retract the Cart Rack. Once the cart is inside the Tank, close the door. Now operate the two valves so that the tank fills with water, cooling the bar down Now empty the tank by turning the valves again, open the door and release the Rack again. Once the cart is back on the track, retract the rack and close the door. Operate the Cart Jig once again so that it heads towards the Wind Tube. Operate the Fan lever so that the Bar is fully cooled down Turn the Fan off by operating the lever again and make your way over to the Cart Jig lever. Click this for the last time to move the cart back underneath the crane. Once it reaches here, retrieve the “Primed Bar” from the Cart.

Head down the stairs in the northwest corner of the new Workshop. From the stairs head south and then east through the “Mind Door” Once in the Mind Room, use your Primed Bar on the Extraction Gun and Operate the Extractor (you will lose 20 magic levels when using the extractor). You will now receive a golden Elemental Bar Return upstairs to the first workshop and use your new bar on the workbenches and create a Prime Elemental Helmet to complete the quest.

EASY MINING SKILL METHODS ON RUNESCAPE

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Skills

Method 1: An easy way to get good mining skills is to go to the mining field by the place where the Champions Guild is located. Mine some ore, then go back to where you start after the tutorial. There is a furnace there. Melt it and return to the city to the smithy. Very soon, you will be able to mine more things then enter the dwarves mines and join the miners guild.
Method 2: Save all the ores that you mine. Mine until your mining is at level 15. Mine Iron until your mining reaches level 30. Mine Coal until your mining reaches level 40. Mine Gold Ore until your mining is at level 55. Mine Mithril Ore until your mining reaches level 70. Mine Adamite Ore until your mining is level 85. Find the Rune rock and mine Runeite Ore until your mining is level 99. That is the highest level you can get to.

Nature Spirit Quest

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Start Point: Talk to Drezel below the Temple of Saradomin
Requirements: Must have completed The Restless Ghost and Priest in Peril
Items Required: Silver sickle, Ghostspeak amulet

If you don’t know how to get the items required for this quest, read on. Otherwise, you can skip to the start of the quest guide.

Silver Sickle
To make one yourself, you will need level 20 Mining, smithing and 18 crafting. You will need a Silver bar and a Sickle mould.

To aquire a Silver bar, you have to mine a Silver ore from one of the Silver rocks of the Scorpion mine. Then you have to use it with a furnace (circled in red) to smelt it into a Silver bar.
To aquire a Sickle mould, you have to go to the crafting shop of Al Kharid (circled in grey) and buy one for about 10gp.
To make a Silver sickle, use your Silver bar with the furnace while having a Sickle mould in your inventory and choose to make a Silver sickle.
If you cannot make one for yourself, you can ask other players to help you make one or buy one from them.

Ghostspeak amulet
To aquire a Ghostspeak amulet, you need to complete The Restless Ghost. If you’ve lost or dropped your amulet, you can get it again by talking to Father Urhney. He can be found in a hut located in the Lumbridge Swamp.

Simply talk to him and he will give you another Ghostspeak amulet.

When you have gotten everything, head back to Drezel below the temple and talk to him. He will ask you to find a druid called Filliman Tarlock. He will mention about a swamp called Mort Myre and the Ghasts roaming in it.

After you finished talking with Drezel, he will give you six apple pies and send you on your merry way. If you have any cheap food in your bank, you can withdraw them from the village of Canifis and let the Ghasts take them instead. ^_^

When you’ve finished packing, go back to the path leading to the Temple of Saradomin but instead of heading west, go south and you will reach a gate with someone called Ulizius guarding it. Talk to him and he will allow you to go into the swamp. Go through the gate.

Keep running south until you see an island. Go round it and jump over the bridge (you may fail and take damage) to reach the island. Try to enter the the Grotto tree and Filliman Tarlock will appear. Try to talk to him and he will reply with mumble jumble. Wear your Ghostspeak amulet and talk to him again. However, he doesn’t believe you when you tell him he’s a ghost.

Go to the bench to the west and take the Washing bowl sitting there. You will find a mirror underneath it. Use it with Filliman.

Since he did not turn into a Ghast, he assume it’s a sign. Now he needs to find his journal. Search the Grotto tree (right click on the tree) and you will find his journal. Use it with him and he will ask you to help him become a nature spirit to watch over the forest. However, he needs three things and they are ‘something with faith’, ‘something with nature’ and ‘something of the spirit-to-become freely given’.

He will give you a Druidic spell that will enable you to get ‘something from nature’. However, you must be blessed by someone at the Temple of Saradomin in order to use it. Go back to Drezel and talk to him and he will bless you. (go back and recharge your prayer points, you’ll need them later) Go back to Mort Myre and cast the spell while you’re near a rotting log. A fungi will grow on it. This is ‘something from nature’.

Examine your used spell, does it not say ‘A used druidic spell given to you freely by the spirit of Filliman Tarlock?’ Now, if you go back and question him, you would realize that he is referring himself as the ‘spirit-to-become’. So the second item is your used druidic spell.
Now for the last item. Do you remember the time when Drezel blessed you? Did he not say something about you having faith? Well, you’re the ‘something with faith’.

Now you realize you have everything, head back to Filliman’s camp. You should see three stones surrounding Filliman. Use your Mort myre fungi with the brown stone. Use your ‘used’ spell with the grey stone. Finally, step onto the stone yourself and talk to Filliman.

Enter the Grotto. There will be a Grotto in front of you. Search it and the spirit of Filliman will appear. He will transform himself into a nature spirit. He will tell you how to kill Ghasts. He will need to bless a Silver Sickle though. Since you should have it, talk to Filliman again and he will bless your sickle.

Now you need to kill three Ghasts. Go outside and cast bloom (right click to select bloom) to make things grow. You can use these to fill your Druid pouch. A Mort myre fungi (Rotting log) gives you 1 point. A Mort myre stem (Rotting branch) gives you 2 points. A Mort myre pear (A small bush) gives you 3 points. Once you have three nature harvests (of any kind), go outside and let a Ghast to attack you. You will lose one point from your Druid pouch but the Ghast is visible and attackable now. Kill three of them.

Once you’ve finished killing three Ghasts, return to Filliman and he will reward you.

Rewards: 2 quest points, 2000 defence xp, 2000 hits xp, 3000 crafting xp, ability to pray at the Altar of nature (+2 to prayer points if prayed with full prayer points), ability to bless Silver sickles through Altar of nature.

Easy Ways to Make Quick Runescape Millions

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Making Runescape Money

I have tried out a couple of ways to earn quick money in Runescape, and I must say I have come across some amazing ways to make a quick million!

1. Mine and sell CLAY. Yes, CLAY. It sells for 100 gp a piece in the G.E. Whats even better is, if you make it soft clay, it sells for 160-180 gp EASILY. Now once you start doing that, you could also buy normal clay, wet it, and re-sell it at a higher price! I’ve made almost 2 million in 2 hours doing this! Clay also gets mined very easily and respawns in seconds!

2. After you’ve earned about 50k, spend it all on buying iron ore and coal in a 1 to 2 ratio (once your smithing level is 30). Like if you buy a 100 iron ore, buy 200 coal. Now smelt these into steel bars, and sell them off for a good price of 625 gp (iron costs 89 gp and 2 coals cost 370 gp giving you an easy profit of almost 250 gp per bar sold). Also a quick way to smelt and store is in Al-Kharid and Falador where the furnace is very close to a bank.

3. Catch and sell LOBSTERS. I must admit that this has been one of the main sources of income for me, just head to Karamja with nothing but a lobster pot and some coins (to travel) and fill your inventory with lobsters. Take them back to Draynor village or Falador and put them in a bank. When you have about 350-400, sell them off at a price of 330 gp (approx) for a nice 100k!

4. Merchanting is also a great way to earn money. Buy low, and sell high! Buy tons of cooked lobsters (or any item with a large price range and which sells good) at its minimum price and sell it off at its maximum. People going for long battles buy loads of cooked lobsters because they heal a lot of HP.

5. Another way is to start your own business, let’s say you pay people to mine iron and coal for you, in a one to two ratio. Pay them a little lower than the max price on the G.E., preferably at market price. Buy in bulk and sell these in the G.E. at max price. I once had a guy working for me, who sold me almost 2000 iron ores at 80 gp every week! I then resold it at 95 gp for a quick resale profit of 30k!
