Map of The Main Quest Area

Getting Started

First off, head to Lumbridge Castle. A quick way to get to Lumbridge is by using the Lumbridge Home Teleport spell. Inside, there should be staircases at the back. Climb up one of them and you should arrive on another floor. One of the rooms should contain Duke Horacio. Talk to him and ask him if he has any quests for you. He will tell you about a strange talisman he found and ask you to deliver it to Sedridor, the Head Wizard at the Wizards’ Tower. Accept his request and he will give you an Air Talisman.

Sedridor

Head to the Wizards’ Tower, just southwest of Lumbridge and directly south of Draynor Village. When you arrive there, enter the western room with ladders in it. Climb the ladder leading downstairs. You should spot Sedridor nearby. Speak to him and tell him that you’re looking for the Head Wizard. He’ll say that he is and ask you to give the Air Talisman to him. Hand it over to him and he will be stunned. He’ll give you a Research Package and tell you to give it to Aubury, located in the Rune shop in Varrock, to the northeast.

Note: If you happen to lose the Research Package, just ask Sedridor for another.

Aubury

Head off to the Varrock Rune shop. Once you arrive there, speak to Aubury. Tell him you’ve been sent to deliver something to him and he’ll ask you to let him study the Research Package. Speak to him again and he will give you some Research Notes.

Note: If you happen to lose the Research Notes, just ask Aubury for another.

Head back to the Wizards’ Tower and speak to Sedridor again. Give him the research notes and he will start talking about a new skill you can use, Runecrafting.

Getting Started

To start this quest, talk to Fred the Farmer who can be found by following the northern road from Lumbridge Castle. He’s inside the small house in the Chicken Farm alongside the road. Ask him if he has a quest for you, and he says that he needs someone to shear his wooly sheep, and he asks you to bring back 20 Balls of Wool. Before you leave, grab the Shears on the table.

Shearing the Sheep

Now leave the house, enter the pen to the east, and now use your newly-bought shears with the wooly sheep. Wooly sheep are bigger than sheep that have already been sheared. If the sheep doesn’t get away from you, you’ll get a piece of wool .

Finishing the Quest

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Runescape Quests, Runescapemoney.ws

Start: By speaking to Reldo, the librarian of Varrock Castle or Charlie the Tramp, located next to the Varrock Weapon Store.
Skills: Ability to fight a level 2 or 23, depending on your selected gang.
Quests: None!
What you Need: A friend who hasn’t started the quest, 20gp.

Scroll down to the end of the guide to find a ‘Fast Quest Walkthrough’.

——————————————————————————–

Getting Started

Before starting this quest, you are going to need a friend to help you who has not started this quest yet. Speak to Reldo, located in the Varrock Castle library, north from the entrance of the castle. Ask him for a quest. After a short conversation, he mentions about a book in the nearby shelves that may tell you about a quest. This book can be seen by a blue and white shield in the top shelf, facing away from the desk. After you have read this book, talk to Reldo and he tells you to talk to Baraek, who located outside of Varrock Castle.

Now that both of you have started the quest, decide on the gang that each of you will join. Apparently the Shield was broken in half, and each gang has 1 piece. You’ll each have to join a different gang to get both halves.

Phoenix Gang

Baraek can be found outside Varrock Castle in the marketplace, near the fur stall. Ask him about the gang, but before he gives out the location, he wants 20gp. After he tells you about the location of the gang, head along the south wall, walking east until you see a small building with a dungeon symbol. Climb down the ladder and talk to Straven.

Tell him that you know who they are, and that you would like to offer your services. He wants you to get an Intelligence Report from Johnny the Beard, located inside the Blue Moon Inn. After killing him, you should receive an ‘Intel report’. Bring that back to Straven and then he will allow you to be in the Phoenix Gang. He will give you a key in return, in which you have access to both the Phoenix hideout and a weapon storage place. Enter the hideout and head southwest until you see a chest. Open and search it and you will receive a left-half shield.

As soon as you get the left-half shield, climb the ladder and walk over to the building east of the hideout. Open the door and climb the ladder to approach a weapon storage building. Inside there is a Weaponmaster who is Level 23 and guards the Phoenix Crossbows. Kill the Weaponmaster and take two Phoenix crossbows on the floor. Give these to your friend in the Black Arm Gang.

Note: Magic attacks do not work on the Weaponmaster.

Black Arm Gang

After you have spoken to Reldo, talk to Charlie the Tramp and ask about the alley behind him. He says that the Black Arm Gang can be found there, and ask if they would let you join. Talk to Katrine, who is inside the building and tell her that you’ve heard that they are the Black Arm Gang. Ask her if you can become part of the gang, and asks you to steal two Phoenix Crossbows. Make sure your friend has traded you two Phoenix Crossbows.

Give Katrine the crossbows and she makes you part of the gang. Go upstairs and search the cupboard on the east wall for a right-half shield.

Final Steps

Once each of you have half a shield make your way to the Museum, north from Varrock East Bank. Talk to the curator. You will receive either two left half certificates, or two right half certificates. Which certificate you get depends on which gang you’re in. Find your partner, and trade them exchanging one of the certificates, so that you both have a left half, and a right half certificate. Use one half with the other to get a full Certificate, and then talk to King Roald in Varrock Castle to redeem your reward.

Congratulations! Quest Completed.

The Restless Ghost

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Holiday Guides, Runescape Quests

Start: Begin by speaking with Father Aereck in the Lumbridge Church.
Skills: Able to defeat a level 13 Skeleton.
Quests: None!
What You Need: An Amulet of GhostSpeak.

Scroll down to the end of the guide to find a ‘Fast Quest Walkthrough’.

——————————————————————————–

Getting Started

Firstly, talk to Father Aereck and ask him if he has a quest for you. He can be found inside the Lumbridge church, standing around the altar. He says that he needs someone to make the ghost in the Church Graveyard go away. He mentions that his friend Father Urhney may be able to help you.

Leave the church and follow the road north until you reach the General Store, and then head west along the dirt path until it ends. Now head southeast through the swamp, or head south along the ocean until you find a small house. Talk to Father Urhney and tell him that Father Aereck sent you. Say that a ghost is haunting the graveyard, and he gives you an Amulet of GhostSpeak so that you can talk to it.

Helping the Ghost

Go back to the church in Lumbridge and walk into the graveyard behind it. The ghost is inside the small building in the corner of the graveyard, and you may need to open and close the Coffin to get him to appear. With your new amulet on, speak to the ghost, and when he asks if you understood him, tell him that you did. He says that a Warlock has stolen his skull, and that may be why he can’t rest.

Now leave the graveyard and follow the road north until you reach the General Store. Head west along the same dirt path you traveled before, but this time keep to the same direction until you reach a road. Follow it south into the Wizard’s Tower, and climb down the ladder. Walk along the corridor to the door on the east side. You’ll see an altar; search this to find a Skull. A level 13 Skeleton will then jump out at you, but since you already have the skull, just run away!

Visit the ghost back in the Graveyard, and tell him that you’ve found his skull. He needs you to put it in his coffin, and after you do so he will be able to rest.

Cook’s Assistant

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Start: Begin by speaking with the Cook in Lumbridge Castle.
Skills None!
Quests: None!
What You Need: 1 Bucket and a Pot.

Scroll down to the end of the guide to find a ‘Fast Quest Walkthrough’.

——————————————————————————–

Getting Started

To start this quest, go to Lumbridge Castle and speak with the Cook on the first floor. He says that he’s forgotten some of the ingredients for the cake that he was going to bake for the King. Tell him that you’ll help him out, and he says that he needs some milk, an egg, and some flour.

So, leave the castle and head north along the road until you reach the General Store. Buy a bucket for 2gp, and a pot for 1gp. Now we can get all of the ingredients for the cake! Here’s a map of the useful places used during this quest:

Milk

After buying a bucket and pot, just walk over the bridge to the east, continuing to the Cow Pen. Once inside, use the empty bucket with a Dairy Cow to get some fresh Milk.

Eggs

Leave the Cow Pen and walk north along the road until you come to a small Chicken Farm. Now go inside and head to the northwest corner to find an egg respawn. Pick an egg up and leave the farm.

Flour

Travel south along the road from the Chicken Farm, back over the bridge and past the General Store. Walk west along the road until you come across a Wheat Field. Pick a piece of wheat, leave the field and travel a short distance north to the windmill. Climb to the top of the mill, use the grain with the Hopper, and then operate the controls next to the Hopper. Now climb all the way down the ladder, and empty the Flour Bin by clicking on it.

Finishing the Quest

Now that you’ve got all of the ingredients, head back to the cook by traveling east on the road until you reach the castle. Talk to him again, give him the milk, egg and flour, and you’re finished!

Rewards

300 Cooking experience
You can now cook on the Lumbridge Castle stove. This stove is known to burn less food than an ordinary stove, and because of the Lumbridge Castle Bank being located upstairs, makes this one of the best place to cook food in RuneScape!

Quest points gained: 1.

Monsters: Shadow spiders (level 52), Fire giants (level 86)
NPC: Almera (House north-east of Baxtorian Falls), Hudan (Western side of the river), Hadley (House south-east of Baxtorian Falls).

WATERFALL QUEST WALKTHROUGH
After talking to Almera, head around to the back of her house and board the raft there. It will take you towards the waterfall, but crash half way there. You should now see a little boy named Hudan. Talk with him, use your rope on the rock on the next island downstream which has the option “Swim to”. After that, use your rope on the dead tree on the island and you should end up at the door to the waterfall. Don鈥檛 enter it yet or you will take damage.
Jump in the barrel and you will be taken off the waterfall. Enter the house just north of where the barrel took you and talk with Hadley. After that go upstairs and search the bookcase to find the book named “Book on Baxtorian”. Read it and talk with Hadley again. After that you will have to go to the gnome maze and down the ladder just before the entrance to the Gnome Village. Go to the east and you will find a lot of crates and boxes, search them and you will find a key.
*X* When you have the key, go west and open the jail door. Inside you will find a little gnome, talk with him and he will drop a lot of junk. You will search it and find a pebble, ask if you can keep it. Now bank all of your armour and weapons and go back to Hadley’s house, go up to the grave a little north-east of there. Use the pebble on the tombstone and you will be taken down into the tomb. Go west and open the chest there, search it and you will find Glarials Amulet.
Note: You will not be able to enter the tomb if you have any armour or weapons on you.
Now take the southern path and search the tomb there. You will find an urn, exit the tomb again and go to the bank. Get out the runes, rope and whatever you will need to fight level 93 fire giants etc (keep the urn and amulet), and head back to the waterfall. Once again board the raft and use your rope on the rock, then your rope on the dead tree. But this time, wear the amulet and enter the waterfall. There will be 3 paths, one going east, one directly north and one west.
Note: Shadow Spiders drain half your prayer points.
Firstly go east and you will end up in a room with a lot of crates. Search them and you will find a key. Now go to the western path and enter the room with Fire Giants, go all the way north and use your key on the door to open it, now pick up the key on the floor and go through the next door. You will now be in a room with 6 pillars, use one air, one water and one earth rune on each of them, and then use your amulet on the Statue of Glarial. Use your urn with the Chalice and you will have completed the quest.

Runescape SEA SLUG QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Speak with Caroline, East of Ardougne at the coast line.
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: 25 Oyster Pearls & around 7,000 fishing exp.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Skills: Level 30 firemaking.
Required Items: Hatchet, Tinderbox and Swamp Paste.
NPC: Caroline (East of Ardougne), Holgard (East of Ardougne, Fishing platform, Island with Kent), Bailey (Fishing platform), Kennith (Fishing platform first floor), Kent (unknown island).

SEA SLUG QUEST WALKTHROUGH
After speaking with Caroline, go over to Holgard and speak with him, he will tell you that his rowboat isn’t seaworthy, and that he’ll need some swamp paste to fix it.
To get swamp paste, you have two options. The first one is the easiest, but also the most expensive. Simply go to Port Khazard and buy it from the store there. The second option is totally free, but requires some time. Go to the Lumbridge Swamps and collect some swamp tar, then mix it with flour to get the paste.
When you have the swamp paste, go back to Holgard, and he will sail you to the fishing platform. At the platform go west into the house there and talk with Bailey who will tell you about his two sons who went out to find help days ago. Now go to the north-eastern part of the platform and up the ladder.
Go all the way west, and into the house there. Choose ‘Shout-over crates’ and talk with Kennith. After that, go down to Holgard and get him to sail you to Kent. Kent will tell you about what happened, and after that go back to the platform (Holgard will of course sail you there).
Try going up the ladder to Kennith, and you will be stopped by the fishermen. Go back to Bailey, and he will tell you that heat is the sea slugs weakness. Bailey will give you a torch, and tell you to use that against the slugs. Take the broken glass from the corner of Bailey’s house, and then go to the ladder in the north-east of the platform.
Pick up the damp sticks to the left of the ladder, and use your broken glass on them. You should now have dry, damp sticks. Rub them together and your torch will catch fire. Go up the ladder to Kennith, talk with him, then go to the east side of the house and kick the loose panel.
After you’ve kicked the panel, talk with Kennith again, and he will hide away in the crane just outside the building. Go to the crane and rotate it, then Kennith will be in Holgard’s boat downstairs. Get Holgard to sail you back. Speak with Caroline to get your reward. This completes the quest.

Search the bushes you see beside the path. The crate will be in one of them, though it is random for each player. So search all the bushes until you find it.

Once you have recovered the crate, head up to the power station on southern end of the mountain. It is the grey building on minimap west of the Dwarven Mine entrance. He will not be swayed and tells you to speak with Nurmof. Head east and down the ladder into Dwarven Mine. Make your way to Nurmof’s pickaxe shop and tell him he must shut the power station down. Nurmof refuses but says Bordiss had an alternative design but never turned up with the plans. Head back to the monastery and speak with Brother Bordiss. He will tell you he kept the plans is his chest and it seems Drorkar took the key while he was drunk.

Head back to the power station and pickpocket Drorkar for the chest key. Make your way to the east and down the ladder into the mines. Head immediately east into Drogo’s shop. Use the key on the chest to retrieve the plans. Bordiss Chest Take the plans to Nurmof and use them with him. He will assess the design and realises it will work. Watch the cutscene of the new environmentally friendly power station. The quest is now complete.

Runescape THE PATH OF GLOUPHRIE QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Speak to King Bolren in the Tree Gnome Village near the Spirit Tree.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: 5000 Magic, 5000 Thieving, 20000 Slayer, 30000 Strength, Crystal chime, a new spirit tree and a new way to use the spirit tree network.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Quests: Waterfall Quest, Eyes of Glouphrie.
Required Skills: Level 45 Agility, Level 47 Ranged, Level 56 Slayer, Level 56 Thieving, Level 60 Strength.
Required Items: Crossbow (any metal), mithril grapple, crystal saw or small crystal seed.
Monsters: Warped Terrorbird (Level 143).
NPC: King Bolren, Golrie, Longramble, Hazelmere.

THE PATH OF GLOUPHRIE QUEST WALKTHROUGH
To begin, head to the Tree Gnome Village and talk to King Bolren in the center. After you talk to him, he will tell you to find an anti-illusion device somewhere in the village. So go right outside the village, through the gate and down the ladder with the “!” Take the west path and talk to the gnome Golrie.
Now you need the key to get into Golrie’s storeroom. Head back east and go north until you reach another room. Crawl through the tunnel on the north side. Push the big monolith north and go around it. Push the monolith you can north and then the one above that east twice. Go around and push the small monolith south. Push the big monolith west twice and open the mahogany chest. You will find that you can’t. Search the chests north of you to get some crystal shapes, Yewnock’s notes and a storeroom key. Use the storeroom key on the chest.

You will get a strongroom key, now go go around the monoliths and push the south one west and go west towards the gate. Use the key on the gate to enter. Here’s the hard part, you have to try and solve the puzzle, if you need more shapes go back into the previous room and search the crates. The shapes in which you receive vary from person to person. You may have to exchange your shapes to get the right ones. Just follow what you did for the Eyes Of Glouphrie quest. The main point is to equal what’s in there. The shapes’ value is the number of sides on the shape multiplied the colour value according to the chart. So and orange triangle would be 3(sides) x 2(Color value) = 6.

Once you’ve solved the puzzle, get some good armor, food, watch, sextant, chart, crystal saw, mithril grapple and prayer potions and talk to King Bolren again. Kill the evil monster and continue to talk. Now talk to Aluft Gianne Jr. in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, (Second floor, to the west) you can use the tree next to you. He will give you a set of coordinates. Here is where you need your watch, sextant and chart. Find the coordinates and go to them. To get there, go south of Castle Wars and then head far west, use your mithril grapple on the tree and swing across. Talk to Longramble. You may want you to give him some gnome food until he helps you. (If you bring Longramble his order of Tangled Toad Legs, he will give you a Mint Cake as a reward)

After you talk to Longramble head north and talk to the dead looking spirit tree. You will talk to Hazelmere and you will go through a cutscene. You will now need to find elven magic to cure the spirit tree. Now go back to the Tree Gnome Village and back to the cave with the monoliths.

Use your crystal seed/saw on the singing bowl and get the crystal chimes and head back to the spirit tree. Use the chimes on the tree for a cut scene. Now go west and south and enter the sewers. You can’t teleport out of the dungeon. Walk past the warped tortoise and up the ladder. (It is strongly recommended that you avail yourself with range and melee protection prayer here, as you can dealt heavy damage without) Go into the area with the warped terrorbirds and follow it. Go around the “U” bend and down the ladder. Follow the path. Go up another ladder and keep following the path past the warped animals, you鈥檒l get to a metal door. Go through it and around the “U” bend and down the ladder. Go east and up the next ladder, go west or east around the big hole and through the door. Now go to the east door and go through fight the terrorbirds. Use the chimes on them to be able to hit them. After you have used the chimes on them you can attack them.

Once you’ve defeated the terrorbirds, peek through the hatch door and you will see a cutscene. Hazelmere will come and rescue you from the gas; don’t worry about dying. He will explain to you he is a mage and you will get your reward after.
