Saradomin’s Encampment

Posted by: amber  //  Category: monster hunting, runescape hunting guide

Introduction
Please refer to the general God Wars guide for the basic mechanics of God Wars Dungeon. The Leader of Saradomin’s force, Commander Zilyana, although the second lowest levelled of the God Wars bosses and the smallest physically, is widely considered by players to be the deadliest. Her max hit is the lowest of any of the bosses as well, a mere 310 with either melee or magic. However, her attacks are much faster than the other bosses and she can “charge” up her attacks so that several can hit at once. Her attacks are also very accurate. Prized drops from Commander Zilyana and her minions include Saradomin’s Godsword hilt, Godsword shards, and the Saradomin Sword. To enter Saradomin’s Encampment you will need Level 70 Agility and two pieces of rope (only the first time you go, so it is recommended to make a trip specifically to place these). There are many items which will render Saradomin’s minions outside the boss room unaggressive: these include Saradomin blessed Treasure Trails armour, a Saradomin god cape, holy symbol, and many others. If using the Trollheim teleport to arrive at the dungeon, use this strategy to keep a full inventory: Teleport to Trollheim, drop 2 food items, teleport back to a bank, get 2 more of the items dropped, and then teleport back to Trollheim. You should now have a full inventory.

Strategy
A player cannot stand before either Zilyana’s melee and magic. Since the magic is long-ranged, there is no way to escape it without praying protection from it, and the only way to avoid melee while praying magic is to be outside of melee range. The method to use is made clear once you consider that Zilyana is tiny physically compared to the other monstrous bosses, and that the Saradomin boss room is larger than the others. The best way to fight is by ranging. Using melee is risky and you will take much more damage, especially in smaller teams. Your team should spread out as much as they can and range Zilyana. If she comes toward you trying to melee, run away in the opposite direction, and if she continues to follow, run around, hugging the walls. You may have to run around the room several times. If possible, take a few shots at each corner, but don’t let her catch up to you! You MUST bring a form of energy restoration: your two choices are Purple Sweets from Treasure Trails, or the much better choice of using a Spirit Terrorbird familiar with scrolls. Sweets can get very expensive: it’s very possible to chew through over a hundred per trip. If you fight Zilyana properly, you should only take damage from ranged, so you should try to emphasize that defence stat, while keeping a good ranged attack bonus. After killing Zilyana, every minion will focus on one player. This player should run to the very south wall, causing Bree to refocus on another player, who should pray range. Meanwhile, the rest of the team should run to the North Wall, and kill Bree, then Starlight, and finally Growler.

You will need a Zamorak and Saradomin item for killcount. The best spot to get killcount is by killing any Saradomin follower, such as Mages, Warriors, Priests, etc in the main area near the entrance. Many of these will be in combat, making them easy to kill without taking damage or needing to pray. You can also get killcount in the Encampment, but there are fewer monsters available.

Recommended Levels:

80 ranged
75+ defence
52 summoning
60 prayer (70 strongly recommended)
70 agility (required)
Keep in mind that these are suggested minimum levels. You can kill Commander Zilyana with lower levels, but you will perform much better with higher levels, and it is also much easier to find a group with higher stats. In a larger group, you can get away with lower stats. Having 70 prayer to bless teammates graves, as well as for piety, is highly recommended. Having 52 summoning for a spirit terrorbird to carry extra supplies and to recover run energy is virtually mandatory, without one you will incur large expenses on Purple Sweets. Your familiar will follow you to the other side of the rope. Zilyana’s melee attacks are very damaging, and overall, you can get more kills ranging with less risk. Therefore, ranging Zilyana is recommended. Maging is ineffective against all God Wars Dungeon bosses. A Zamorak Godsword’s special is very helpful in order to freeze Zilyana temporarily.

Equipment
Recommended equipment:
Note: Items are listed from the best to the worst

Weapon: Rune Crossbow
Helmet: Verac’s Helm > Torag’s Helm
Amulet: Fury > Glory > Zamorak/Saradomin Stole* >Holy/Unholy Symbol*
Body: Armadyl Chestplate > Zamorak/Saradomin Blessed Dragonhide*
Legs:Verac’s Plateskirt > Torag’s Platelegs
Shield: Dragonfire Shield > Full Crystal Shield > Dragon Sq Shield
Cape: Ava’s accumulator
Boots: Ranger > Snakeskin
Gloves: Barrows Gloves > God Blessed Bracers*

*Note: Starred items are Zamorak/Saradomin items that will protect you from his minions outside the boss room. Having one of each is NECESSARY.

Recommended Inventory
Terrorbird Scrolls(at least 100)
Teleport
11 Super Restores
13 Saradomin Brews
Two Ranging Potions

Summon a Terrorbird before leaving. Your terrorbird should hold:

Three Terrorbird Pouches
Four Super Restores
Five Saradomin Brews

Solo
Soloing Saradomin has both drawbacks and benefits over teams. It’s much easier to start a trip, and you get to keep all your drops yourself, although your trips are much shorter, and usually more expensive. There are also higher requirements, as well as being more dangerous as you cannot rely upon your team to bless your grave.

90 ranged
90 defence
52 summoning
70 prayer
70 agility (required)
The strategy is somewhat similar to being in a team, but certain aspects are different. Since Zilyana will ALWAYS be focused on you, you must be constantly running: she cannot be allowed to melee you! You will still range her while praying magic. As soon as you enter, start running around the edges of the room. At each corner, you should be able to take one or two shots. Using the accurate style is recommended, as the timing is better and you get more accuracy on your few available shots. You should still use enchanted diamond bolts. A Zamorak Godsword’s special is still very helpful. The recommended equipment is the same.

Lootshare
While fighting as a team in this multicombat area, use the LootShare chat system to ensure honest reporting of monster drops. Not only will this system report your team’s drops for everybody within the chat (with at least the minimum set rank), but will also increase each individual’s chances of getting drops, as opposed to drops being limited to only one or a few individuals who consistently do the most damage.

To have a chance at the drops from the LootShare system, you must be within 16 squares of the killed monster, also make sure that your rank is set high enough to have a chance for team drops if you are in a team using LootShare.

If the Clan Chat owner has the Coinshare option enabled, all those entitled to recieve lootshare drops will have it activated. Coinshare is only applied to certain drops. The drop will be converted to coins and all lootshare members will receive an equal split if Commander Zilyana or any of her minions drop any of these items:

Godsword shard 1, 2, or 3
Saradomin Sword
Saradomin Hilt
Dragon Med Helm
Dragon Spear
Shield Left Half (dragon)
Please refer to our New Members P2P guide for a listing of all worlds the Lootshare system is enabled upon. Note that worlds can change frequently and Jagex’s world select page should be your point of reference for Lootshare worlds.

Conclusion
Both in a team and alone, you can usually obtain more kills per trip than Armadyl, the other boss requiring ranging, because if done properly you will suffer much less damage. That said, killing Zilyana is different than most other Runescape bosses, and is often considered more difficult to learn. The drops from Saradomin Godwars are also highly valued by players. This boss has the highest requirements to team out of all God Wars bosses, but can be performed solo at lower levels than Armadyl. Kill count will usually take longer than the other bosses. Please note that this is an introduction for newcomers: this is just one of the multitude of strategies applicable in God Wars. Good Luck!

Mole Hunting Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Minigame Guides, runescape hunting guide

Overview
The giant mole resides below Falador park. With a level of 230 and 200 hitpoints, she is not a target to be under-estimated. At random points during the battle, she may burrow away in an attempt to escape to another part of the lair. The Giant Mole is often hunted because its skins and claws can be traded with Wyson the Gardener for birds nests, which are used in the herblore skill. Also, the seeds in the nests are very useful for farming.

Preparing for Battle
A light source is a must at all times while in the lair.

What To Bring:
Spade - To enter the lair.
A Light source - You don’t want the bugs getting you.
Dragon halberd - Great for high hitting special attacks.
Dragon Dagger(p++) and Rune Defender - The poison damage really adds up.
Teleport Tabs - For quicker journeys to altars(can also use your home teleport).
Super Attack and Strength - Make each hit count.
Prayer Potions - You don’t want to run out.

Equipment
Melee Method

Using this method, you will be praying “Protect from Melee” or “Deflect Melee”the whole time. This makes it very easy to kill the Giant mole assuming you don’t run out of prayer. The godsword can be replace with Abyssal Whip with a rune defender or shield of you choosing.

Range Method

Using this method, you will be praying “Protect from Melee” or “Deflect Melee”the whole time. You will run out of prayer potions faster this way because you are not using prayer bonus armor. The mole tends to be weaker to ranged attacks then melee.

Getting to the Giant Mole
To get to the Giant Mole lair dig with a spade on any of the many mole mounds in the Falador park. Once in the lair, you must make your way to the Giant Mole at the centre of the lair. The green dots on the map show where the Mole may appear if it burrows in an attempt to flee your slaying.

Strategy
Note: Using a Spirit Terrorbird while your killing the Giant Mole is a great way to make sure your running energy dose not drop to zero. Also a combat summoning familiar can be helpful for fighting the Giant Mole, especially while fighting it solo. If you are attacking the Mole and it is attacking you, when the Mole digs away your summoning familiar will follow it for a few steps allowing you to determine the general direction to the Mole.

Melee Method
1. Drink your potions(super attack and super strength).
2. Once at the mole, immediately turn on the Protect from Melee prayer.
3. Unleash your Dragon Dagger P++ or Dragon Halberd special attacks.
4. Swap to your Godsword/whip.
5. If the Giant Mole digs away, search the lair for where it has gone and finish off the kill.
Note: Make sure you don’t run out of prayer.

Range Method
1. Drink your potion(ranging).
2. Once at the mole, immediately turn on the Protect from Melee prayer.
4. If the Giant mole digs away, search the lair until you find it and continue your attack.
Note: Make sure you don’t run out of prayer.

Rewards
Visit Wyson the Gardener and trade your mole skins or claws for a bird’s nest. These nests can contain:

Nothing
An unenchanted ring
Vegetable seeds
Herb seeds
A tree seed
On top of those, you can get a variety of drops ranging from a dragon medium to an uncut gem. For a full list of drops, view the Giant Mole Bestiary profile.

Tips and Tricks
Bring your friends. With more people you’ll kill it faster and more effectively.
Bring a Teleport of your choice along with you just incase you happen to get in a sticky situation.
Watch your prayer. The consequences of not doing so could be fatal.
Don’t waste your prayer. You don’t want to have to teleport when it’s almost dead.
Use busy servers so the Giant Mole will respawn quicker.
Change your respawn point to Falador. If you die, you will be able to quickly retrieve your items.

The Full Dragon Armour

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Equipment
Full Dragon is the most legendary and prestigous armour set in Runescape. The term “full” is player jargon and refers to a complete melee armor set consisting of four parts: full helm, platebody, platelegs and kiteshield. The different melee armour sets from low to high are bronze, iron, steel, black, mithril, adamant, rune & dragon.
There is also the Barrows armour and the Granite armour as well as Dragonhide armour for ranger and various robes for mages but neither of them really fit the “full” armour concept epitomized by bronze, iron, steel, black, mithril, adamant, rune and dragon. Unlike the other six armour types, Black and Dragon can’t be smithed from metal bars, they must be found. Black can only be aquired from monster drops and Dragon can only be aquired through Quests and from certain monster drops.

Please note that the “full” armour standard does not encompass just any helm, body, legs and shield - it refers to the full helm, the platebody, the platelegs and the kiteshield. The chainbody, the medium helm, chainskirt and the square shield are not integral parts of the full armour standard. However, in the case of full dragon there was initially no platebody or full helm and there still is no kiteshield available in the game and therefore the full dragon came to consist of Dragon med helm, Dragon chainbody, Dragon platelegs and Dragon square shield. The Dragon full helm was released in mid 2007 and the Dragon platebody in late 2008 and the full Dragon is now closer to what it should be: Dragon full helm, Dragon platebody, Dragon platelegs and Dragon square shield.

Runescape TROLL STRONGHOLD QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Start by talking to the General Denulth in Burthorpe training camp.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: Law talisman.
Law talisman info: You need level 54 runecrafting to make these, you will find the altar on Entrana, remember you’re not able to take armour with you here. The law talisman is untradable.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Skills: 15 Agility, good combat (60+), thieving (30+) and prayer (43+) recommended.
Required Items: Climbing Boots (check the Death Plateau quest for more info), good food, 12 gp for the clilmbing boots if you dont have them.
Required Quests: Death Plateau quest.
Monsters: Trolls (level 69), Dad (level 101), General (level 113).
NPC: General Denulth (Burthorpe training camp), Twig (Troll Stronghold jail).

TROLL STRONGHOLD QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Firstly talk to the General Denulth in Burthorpe training camp, and if you don’t have any climbing boots, go to Tenzing and you can get the boots from him. Go through the Sherpa’s hut (or run the gauntlets of thrower trolls) to a junction on the ledge above the gauntlet, blocked by rocks. Climb the rocks and head east, you’ll come to a gate. When you try and open it, it will say you must defeat Dad.
Go in and defeat Dad (level 101, and does knock backs), and exit the arena using the other gate and follow the path. Go through several small caves and you will come to a circular mountain / maze - do not climb it, go round it to the areas to the northwest, again avoiding thrower trolls.
Walk through this area to an entrance to the stronghold where there will be lots of Trolls (level 69), enter the stronghold and go west to kill a general level 113, the general will hit a lot on you, so use protection from melee against him, he will drop a prison key. The prison is to the northeast, down two sets of stairs. Once down in the prison there are 2 guards sleeping, look in the room and there is a guard named twig, pickpocket him (or kill him) for the key to the prisoners’ cell (cell key 1). Go in the cell and talk with the prisoners.
Return to Denulth to claim your reward, he will send you to Dunstan who gives you a family heirloom - a Law Talisman.

TROLL ROMANCE QUEST WALKTHROUGH

THE START
Items for this part: Climbing boots or 12gp, some (low) food (optional), prayer points (optional).
Description: To start off, go to the troll stronghold, it’s located north from Burthorpe. You will need some climbing boots; you can buy them from Terzing for 12gp. Terzing is located on the southwest end of the Troll Mountains. Go all the way past the stone throwing trolls (use protect from range prayer if you can). Get inside the Troll Stronghold and head east. Go down the stairs and head west, until you find a doorway. Go through it and to the west side of the room, you will find a troll crying. This is Ug, the start of your quest. Talk to him about Aga.

AGA
Description: Head east to the end of the next room, you will find Aga, ask her about her love life. Then continue about “Trollweiss”.

UG PART 2
Description: Talk to Ug about the flower, he will tell you only someone who has lived in the mountains all his life knows how to get the Trollweiss.

TENZING
Description: Go back all the way trough the mountains to Tenzing. This is the Sherpa as where you could also buy climbing boots. Ask him about Trollweiss. He will tell you it’s impossible to get, but keep insisting on going after it. He will finally tell you, you need a sled to go down. He will tell you to go see Dunstan.

DUNSTAN
Description: Ask him about the sled. Tell him you feel too old for one by pressing “yes”, he will ask why you need one and you will explain him. After this he will tell you what he needs to build one. He sends you off to find these items and says he’ll be working on the model meanwhile.

DUNSTAN PART 2
Items for this part: Maple or yew log, iron bar, rope
Description: You will need a maple or yew log, an iron bar and some rope for him to build a sled. Talk to him with these items in your inventory and he will build it.

WAXING THE SLED
Items for this part: Cake tin, insect repellent, swamp tar
Description: Go to the Catherby beehives. You will find a bucket respawn, pick one up. Use the bucket on any beehive while having the insect repellent in your inventory. You will get some honey. Use the swamp tar on the bucket with honey while having a cake tin with you. You will get some wax. Use the wax on the sled.

GET THE TROLLWEISS
Items for this part: Teleport ring/amulet/runes (optional).
Description: There is a route north of the stone throwing trolls. It could be useful to teleport there because it’s quite close and you won’t have to pass the stone throwers again. Follow the path to a closed ice-gate. West of here is a cave, go trough it, but be warned there are a lot of level 120 trolls, although they don’t seem aggressive. After this is a great ice plateau. Ride your slide here (you can go around like your walking). Go southwest (mostly south) past some wolves. You will find a “slope”. Go for the first option “slide slope”. You will get a small animated movie about sliding. Eventually you will stop sliding and be able to “walk” again. Go west to a plateau and pick some rare flowers. You only need one for the quest but if you like pick some more. Now you can do two things. Either you teleport out, or you slide down the next slope located to the south.

BACK TO UG
Items for this part: Throllweiss.
Description: Go back to Ug and give him the flower by talking to him. He tells you he is afraid of giving it to Aga because of Arrg. You will need to defeat Arrg.

DEFEATING ARRG
Description: The most difficult part of the quest. First talk to him. Tell him you came to kill him. You will be taken outside (can’t fight in front of a lady) and will need to kill him here. Be warned, he uses both melee as well as missile attacks (throwing rocks). If you don’t want to get hit, you will have to switch between melee protection and missile protection prayer really fast. Do make sure you keep an eye on your hit points because he might hit you anyway. After you beat him, just go back to Ug to finish the quest.

Runescape SHADOW OF THE STORM QUEST STRATEGY GUIDE

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Father Reen, South from Al Kharid Bank.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: Darklight Sword, 10,000 exp in a combat skill of your choice.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Quests: Demon Slayer and The Golem quest.
Required Skills: Level 30 Crafting.
Required Items: Silverlight, pestle and a mortar, empty vial, Desert shirt and Desert Robes(or black dragonhide body and chaps), Black Wizards Hat(or black mystic hat) and a Silver ore/bar.
Suggested Items: Some food and good melee equipment.
Monsters: Agrith Naar (level 100).
NPC: Father Reen, Father Badden, Evil Dave, Denath, Matthew Tanya, Eric, Jennifer and Patrick.

First of all you need to talk to Father Reen located south from Al Kharid bank. Tell him that you are the one he seeks and accept to help him. If you do not have a silverlight, he will give it to you. Head out to Shantay pass, get your silverlight from the bank chest if you haven’t got it yet. Buy a pass and continue to the desert. If possible, use the magic carpet to get to Uzer. Otherwise keep walking east until you reach Uzer. Talk to Father Badden who is located in the ruins. Ask him what you need to do. He needs you to infiltrate the group of Denath. Go east and downstairs from the ruins. Go north to the gates and talk to Evil Dave. Ask him if you can join to the group and tell him that you are evil. He says you don’t look evil. Grab some black mushrooms down there and use one of them on your silverlight. You need some more evil clothes and wear at least two of them with just your black silverlight. You can dye the desert clothes with black dye by using pestle and mortar on a black mushroom when you have a vial in your inventory. Wear your evil clothes and talk to Evil Dave. He will let you inside the Throne Room. Note: You don’t need to use the evil clothes after this to get to the Throne Room. You will now see a short cut-scene and you get to talk to Denath. Ask him what you need to do. He will tell you an incantation that differs between players. Memorize the incantation or write it down. Talk to Matthew, ask him about everything and he should tell you about a book and what happened to Josef. Then talk to Jennifer and ask for the demonic sigil mould. Go to Al Kharid. Use your silver ore on the furnace and craft a Demonic Sigil Mould. Go back to Uzer and ask the Golem about last night. He will tell you that he saw Josef hide the book in one of the broken kilns. Rotate among the 4 searchable kilns in the desert. Search them until you find the book. Take it to the Throne room to Matthew. Once you have talked to him, the ritual will commence. Take your place in the circle in the empty place. Start the chanting by right clicking the Demonic Sigil. Choose the chant-option and say the incantation that you memorized or wrote down earlier. You will now see some cut-scenes and you are asked to get the people remaining back to the circle. Instead you will need to pick up the sigils of those people. Go outside to see Tanya die. Ask Evil Dave to go back to the throne. Go out and talk to the monks. After convincing they accept to take part in the summoning. The Golem won’t come before you, go back downstairs, get the Strange Implement from the northwest corner and use it on him. Go back through the portal and talk to Matthew. Quest points gained: 1.
Required Quests: None.
Required Skills: None.

NPC: Launa, Tolna and Brana.

To begin go to digsite with the gnome glider or walk there and then head a little northwest. You will see Launa there. Talk to her and agree to look for her husband and son. Use rope on the Rift and go down.

First Room (Anger) Attack the creatures with the right weapons until they die. YObtain the weapons from the weapon shelf next to the exit. The correct weapons are as follows: Spear - Bear, Sword - Unicorn, Mace - Rat, Battleaxe - Goblin.
Second room (Fear) Keep looking at the dark holes one by one until you have fought enough of the reapers to proceed. After your character has killed five Fear Reapers, he is not afraid any more and you get a short cutscene. Go through the black hole on the western wall.
Third room (Confusion) In this room there are a lot of hallucination creatures and one real creature in every group of monsters. Attack the creatures and try to find the right one. The the fake monsters will disappear after they have taken eight hits. They won’t take any damage but they can poison you. When you fight real monster it will take damage when you fight it. You have to kill the real monster of the group five times to get the wrong doors to disappear. Enter the only door on the left after the cutscene to proceed.
Fourth room (Hopelessness) In this room there are crawling creatures that attack you with blue projectiles. The projectiles will not hurt you but they will drain a bit of your Prayer skill. The creatures also attack you with melee and can damage you a little. Attack the hopeless creatures until they die off completely. They will get smaller and replenish their health fully two times, so you have to reduce their hit points bar to zero three times. After they are dead, and you watch the cutscene, proceed through the bridge of hope.
Fifth room Attack the three heads. They can poison you too. After killing the three heads, Tolna will appear. After another short cutscene, talk to him to get teleported back ot the surface. Speak with Tolna again to complete the quest.

Reward: A used crystal bow or shield, 10,000 strength experience.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Skills: Must be able to defeat a level 84 without weapons, runes or armour.

Monsters: Moss giant (level 84)
NPC: Islwyn (main quest npc), Eluned.

ROVING ELVES QUEST WALKTHROUGH

THE START
Items for this part: Anti poison and some food.
Description: To start off, go the quick route to Arandar, you can find this on your map, it’s located south-west of the gnome stronghold and north east of Ardougne. From the big gates, follow the road that leads south. You will pass some dire wolfs. Continue south over a balance log and then over some jump-leaves. Further south you will find a trap-wire, step over it, if you get hit, you’ll also be poisoned so drink some anti-poison. You will run into some dire wolfs. Run past them and you’ll find two elves. Talk to the male one, Islwyn. Tell him the truth, then tell him you will help him.

THE PEBBLE
Description: If you have the pebble in your bank you can skip this part, otherwise you will have to go to the gnome village. The gnome village is the maze on the map, a quicker way is the teleportation tree inside the gnome stronghold. From here, go to the dungeon mark on the map. Go down and to the west. You will find an old man. Talk to him and get the pebble.

THE CONSECRATION SEED
Items for this part: Glarial’s pebble, food. Do not take any armour, weapons or runes.
Description: You will need to do this if you have the amulet as well. Make sure you have your prayer points filled if you plan on using magic or melee protection. Look on your world map for a house south of the Baxtorian Falls, it’s east of the gnome stronghold and north of Ardougne. From here head a little north east until you see a small stone path leading to a tombstone. Use your pebble with the tombstone to get down. If it says that nothing happens, you are carrying an item that is not allowed down there, like a piece of armour, a weapon or some runes. Otherwise, you will be teleported into the tomb. Use any potions right here and put your prayer on, now run to the next room and you will find yourself attacked by a level 84 moss giant. He uses a combined magic and melee attack, so he hits with both in one hit. This means that either of these blocks will get his damage down, but not stop him completely. Kill him with your bare hands to get the consecration seed. If you don’t have glarial’s amulet, head further west to a chest, quickly open and search it with left clicks, since there is another moss giant here. Run back to where you started and up the ladder. You will have to go all the way back to the quest start and talk to Eluned. She will enchant your seed.

PLANTING THE SEED
Items for this part: Rope, Glarial’s amulet, spade, some food and something to teleport with.
Description: Take all the items for this part and go to the starting location of the waterfall quest. It’s in the house north-west of the tomb where you got the pebble. Go to the west outside the house to find a raft. Use the raft to get down the river. You will crash halfway. Go to the south of your little island and you will see a rock with a “swim to” option. Don’t use this, use your rope on the rock instead. Here you will see a dead tree. Use your rope on that as well. You will find a door, go through it. From here, take the path to the eastern room. Go to the creates located the furthest to the north. Search them to find a key. Now go back to the main room and then west. Go past the fire giants to a locked door. Use your key on it to get through. You will find another key on the floor here. Pick it up and use it on the next door to the north. You will be inside the room where you finished the waterfall quest. Go to the urn and left-click the seed while standing next to it. You will dig a hole, bury the seed and see a small crystal tree growing. It will disappear right away. Either teleport out or walk outside the waterfall and get inside the barrel there.

THE REWARD
Description: Go back to Islwyn to claim your reward. You can pick either a crystal bow or shield as part of the reward. This completes the quest.

The only difference the trimmed cape has is a +4 prayer bonus and ofcourse the trimming on the edge. Quest Capes cannot be trimmed and completing all quests doesn’t count as a 99 skill for trimming other capes.

Quest Cape

To get this cape you must have beat all Quests and the Rag and Bone Man wishlist. The bad part about this cape is that it will be un-equiped when a new quest comes out. If your inventory is full it will go to your bank, if bank is full it will go to the wise old man and he will give it back to you for free.

Quest Cape
Location: Bought from the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village.

Effects

When you use the Emote or use operate, you’ll be 100/99 this can be very useful for some skills.

Ultimate Tips to Success in Bounty Hunter

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

Hi everyone, I know you are wondering what this guide is about. It’s about Pking in bounty Hunter. I know we are all mad at Jagex for taking away PK and turn Runescape into ruinedscape.I’m one of the ones that are extremely ticked off because of this. PK is what I live for; I made tons of cash by Pking. It’s like a source to getting extremely rich. And JAGEX took it away .but they left us the second best thing bounty hunter. Well I’m going to teach you how to use these disadvantages to turn them into your advantage.

Rules of Bounty Hunter

  • Every time you kill a random person that is not your target, you have a 180 second penalty. You may not leave the arena or use protect item prayer. Every time you pick up an item while in penalty your time limit resets.
  • If you kill your target you will not get a penalty. Then the rules above will not apply.

Recent Updates

Jagex has improved the mini game so it is fair to the lower level players.

Here are the updates:

  • Players can now use locate bounty at a magic level of 25.
  • Players can not pile another player unless he/she is your target.

Well, enough about the rules and updates lets get to the main reason why I wrote this.

What Armor to Wear and What Items to Bring

Note: I did not make up the set names, The Pk champion of Runescape did. I simply used these names. So do not tell me these names are stupid. well honestly I think some are too.

Fighters

If you are a fighter you should wear the set True pk pure.

Requirements:

  • level 40 attack
  • level 40 ranged
  • high level of strength
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • any melee cape
  • leather boots
  • leather gloves
  • amulet of strength
  • Iron or steel armor set(kite shield, full helm, Platebody and legs)

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

Rangers

If you are a ranger you should wear the set Ranging skillage.

Requirements:

  • At least 40 range
  • At least 40 defense
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Maple longbow
  • 200 steel arrows
  • Green dragon hide set (Body, chaps and vambraces)
  • Amulet of power
  • Rune full helm
  • green cape

Why Steel Arrows?

Well steel arrows are easy to get. You can get them by killing the zombies in the stronghold of security. And they are fairly strong. But of course you can use mithril or adamant arrows.

Items in your inventory:

  • Runes needed for bounty locate
  • 25 lobsters

Mage

If you are a mage you should wear the set Magician of death.

Requirements:

  • Able to use fire bolt
  • Can run very fast
  • Fair level of defense
  • Range level of 40

The set contains:

  • Fire staff
  • Amulet of magic
  • wizard hat
  • wizard robe
  • leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • blue cape
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • Wooden or Anti-dragon Shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 200 chaos runes
  • 600 air runes
  • runes that are required for bind
  • 23 lobsters

Why do I need runes required for bind?

Well, because the mage has the least defense out of the three combat types.

So if you meet a fighter or a ranger that is not on your tail. You can bind them and run for your life!!!

Fighter Monk

If you are a fighter and you have high level of prayer then you should wear the set Prayer beast.

Requirements:

  • At least level 43 prayer
  • level 40 attack
  • fair level of strength

The Set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • Blessed holy symbol
  • Full Monk set(body and skirt)
  • Rune full helm
  • Leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • orange cape
  • Anti-dragon shield or any other type of kite shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 Strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

PK Master

  • Rune scimitar
  • Full rune set(Platebody, legs or skirt, Kite shield and Full helm)
  • Green dragon hide vambraces
  • Fighter or colorful boots
  • wilderness cape
  • Amulet of power

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 swordfish

Is This Just Full Rune?

That’s right it is full rune. You may think full rune is nothing, but that’s where you are wrong. If you where full rune and have a decent defense and prayer on, you will be virtually invincible. Why you say? Because In a free to play world people bring rune scimitars and they can barely even scratch rune when you have prayer on. Even if they have a high level of attack.
