Required Items: Coins (around 5,000), 1 edible food item (either bring ghast protection or 2 food items in case 1 gets rotted by ghasts), 2 steel bars, 1 mithril bar, 1 silver bar, 1 coal, 1 cut sapphire, about 20 nails of any metal, a pickaxe, a spade or a pot, 5 buckets (less buckets work, but are slower), 10 bronze axes, 4 tinderboxes, the silver sickle (b) from nature spirit, a rope, a soft clay, and 1 cosmic and 1 water rune.
Suggested Items: A big net because there is a 50:50 chance that you will need 10 mackerel (raw or cooked) for the quest, and there are mackerel fishing spots south of the village.
Suggested Quests: Do the Shades of Mort鈥檛on quest for access to Razmire`s general store and builder store in Mort’ton, so you can buy planks and other supplies for this quest. You should also use a Serum 207 (p) on Razmire to make buying from him much easier. If you can`t do that, bring 11 planks (get planks from respawns near the barbarian outpost or in the eastern wilderness), a swamp paste (to get a swamp paste mix swamp tar, which can be found in the Lumbridge swamps, with flour then cook it, or just buy swamp paste from the shop in Port Khazard), and a hammer.
Monsters: Gadderanks (level 35), Vampyre Juvinate (level 50), Vampyre Juvinate (level 54), Vampyre Juvinate (level 75).
NPC: Veliaf Hurtz, Florin, Aurel, Cornelius, Gadderanks, Vampyre Juvinates, Wiskit, Radigad Ponfit, Polmafi Ferdygris, Ivan, Father Drezel.

IN AID OF MYREQUE QUEST WALKTHROUGH
First of all you need these items: The food item (with the ghast protection or extra food item), pickaxe, 5 buckets, pot or spade, about 20 nails, and the money (about 5k). If you can manage, also take the 10 bronze axes and 3 tinderboxes to save a bank trip. Go to the Myreque hideout. If you don’t know how to get to the hideout here are the directions: Go down the trapdoor south of the bar in Canafis, then squeeze past (a right click) the first set of stalagmites to the east. Talk to Veliaf Hurtz, get info from him and accept to help him. Go to Mort’ton. To get there, go south from that stalagmite exit down to the door at south end of the cave, exit through the door, go south across the rope bridge, then south and take the swamp boaty) and take the road going south from Mort’ton to Burgh de Rott. Talk to Florin and ask him all possible questions. Now check the table and chest next to him and put some food into the chest. You will now be allowed into the city. Talk to Florin once more and ask about ‘out of the way’ places. He will tell you about the basement of the pub. Go to the pub, climb over the broken wall and use your pickaxe on the rubble. Go downstairs and cut down the rubble piles with your pickaxe. Get the rubble out of the pub by using the pot or spade on the mined rubble when having a bucket in your inventory. You will also get a plaster fragment, dusty scroll, and some random nails. Keep all of the nails. You can read and throw away the other two pieces. If possible, buy 6 planks and a hammer from Razmire’s shop, or if you can’t, just bring them. Next you will need to help the citizens. Firstly you need to talk to the general store owner. He will need you to fix the walls and the roof. Climb to the roof, use your planks (3 planks) on the roof with a hammer and the nails in your inventory to fix it. Go back downstairs and use your planks, 3 planks with the hammer and nails in your inventory, on the damaged wall. Talk to the general store owner. He will give you a crate. You have to fill it with three tinderboxes, 10 mackerel (raw or cooked) or 10 snails, and 10 bronze axes. If he asks for snails, go and kill snails to the west of Mort’ton and get 10 meats. If he asks for mackerel, fish the spots to the south with your big net to catch 10 mackerel. Put either the snails or the mackerel in the box. Go back to a bank, unless you have these items and get the 10 bronze axes, and 3 tinderboxes and put them in the box, too. When the crate is full, go back to Burgh de Rott and give the crate back to the owner. He will thank you, then ask you to fix the bank. Go to the bank. Buy 5 more planks and a swamp paste from Razmire’s shop. Use 2 planks, a hammer, and a swamp paste on the broken booth to fix it. Use 3 planks, nails, and a hammer on the broken wall inside the bank. Ask Cornelius (the bank owner) what needs to be done and ask if he wants the job in the bank. He will start to work in the bank and you can use it now. Next you need to fix the furnace. Have a hammer in your inventory. Use one of your two steel bars on it, put a coal in it, and light the fire with a tinderbox. You will now see a cut-scene. Go to general store and talk to Gadderanks. He will tell you that the general store is now used to collect the blood tithes. Talk to the vampires and people in the general store until the screen blacks out. Wield your blessed silver sickle and begin to kill the vampires. Veliaf will come to help you battle them. When they’re dead, kill Gadderanks with any weapon, DON’T use poison, this will mess up the storyline and you will have to redo the fight. Once you have killed them all, talk to Gadderanks to hear his lines, then to Veliaf to tell him to go back to the old hideout. There will be level 75 monsters to fight, so you might want to take armour or protect from melee prayer for this part of the quest. You need to go to the Myreque hideout now and talk to Veliaf again. He will ask you to talk to the others to move out and help Ivan out. Talk to Radigad and Pomafi and they will know to move out too. Now talk to Ivan and move out with him. You should try to get Ivan in the slot of the bushes so you can easily fight the vampires while Ivan is safe. Another method of keeping Ivan safe is to attack both of the vampires before they attack Ivan and alternate fighting them to distract them both from Ivan while you fight them. It is also possible to give food to Ivan while in the base. Ivan will only take certain foods (like snails and stews) up to a maximum of 15 foods. You can also give Ivan a silver sickle, steel chain, steel legs, and/or a steel medium while still at the base. This equipment will allow him to help fight the vampires or have defence to last against them longer. Once you are at your destination, talk to Father Drezel. Talk with him about all options and you will get a key. Use it to the keyhole east of Drezel and a trapdoor will open. Go down and search the bookcases. Read the three books and go to the basement of the Canafis pub. Before going in get a hammer, rope, wet clay, mithril bar, silver bar, cut sapphire, and the cosmic and water rune from the bank. Go in the pub basement and use a hammer on the boarded up entrance and go in. Use a soft clay on the tomb to get a rod clay mould. Go to a furnace and use a mithril bar on furnace while having a silver bar and a cut sapphire in inventory to make a Silvthrill Rod. Now cast a level 1 enchant on it and use it on the well near Drezel while having a rope in your inventory. Take the rod to Veliaf under the pub of Burgh de Rott. This completes the quest..

Quest points gained: 1.
Required Quests: The Feud, Zogre Flesh Eaters, Contact!.
Required Skills: Level 21 Firemaking, Level 50 Agility, Level 60 Thieving, Level 60 Strength.
Required Items: 18 Bronze Bars, 10 Gold Artefacts from Pyramid Plunder, the Artefact from the top of the Agility Pyramid, Bucket of camel dung.
Monsters: Giant Scarab (Level 206), High Priest of Scabaras (Level 179), possibly a Scarab Swarm (Level 98), and must kill four monsters (choice of levels 89 to 140).
NPC: High Priest, Maisa, Lead archaeologist Abigail, Assistant archaeologist Kerner, Simon Templeton, Clay Golem, High Priest of Scabaras.
DEALING WITH SCABARAS QUEST WALKTHROUGH

To begin the quest, speak to the High Priest in the temple in Sophanem, to the south-west of the Pyramid Plunder mini game. He will tell you of a corpse you are needed to identify, and says he will meet you upstairs.

When you go upstairs, you will find out that the corpse is a women named Maisa, who turns out to be alive but sick. When you speak to her, you will be given the task to go east and find some archaeologists who will help you get revenge for the death of Maisa’s partner. Speak again to the High Priest, head out of the gate, and go east.

Go south-east until you reach water, and then go east. You’ll come to a swampy area. Push through two sets of reeds, then go down the patch of land you’re currently on to reach another set of reeds. Climb the pillar and go up the stairs. Talk to the lead archaeologist, who will ask you a series of simple math questions.

Talk to the lead archaeologist again and she will tell you about Simon Templeton, and ask you to get a few random bronze items (varies from person to person), ten golden objects from the Pyramid Plunder mini game, and a golden artefact from the top of the Agility Pyramid. You will be told to make the bronze objects look ancient by rubbing camel dung on them while in the desert (60 crafting required). If you do not have 60 crafting, you will have to put all the bronze items into the crate given to you, and bring them to the archaeologists along with a bucket of dung, to make the items ancient. To get the camel dung, you have to use kebab hot sauce (from the kebab seller in Pollnivneach), on the camel’s trough in Pollnivneach and wait (you need a bucket and gloves to pick it up). Alternatively, you can equip your Camulet and ask one of the various camels in Al Kharid for its dung.

When you have the items required, go to the Agility Pyramid and speak with Simon Templeton. You’ll give him the objects in return for a receipt to give to the lead archaeologist. Head back to the archaeologists and give them the receipt. In return, you’ll receive a diary which you must fill with four notes.

To obtain these notes, you must kill either Scabarites, Zombies, Skeletons or Mummies. Scabarites can be found to the east of the cliff, by going back down the stairs beside the archaeologists. Zombies and Skeletons can be found just north of the Archaeologists and Mummies are east from there. Once you have the four pages, head back to the archaeologists and speak with them to receive a key.

Head north until you find a set of stairs. Go down these. You’ll come into a storeroom, with 4 closed doors, and a locked door to the west, at the end of the 4 closed doors. Your goal is to pull all the levers before the power runs out. To start the power, you’ll see a golem in the south side of the room, talk to him. Take a log from the storage box and put it into the furnace. Speak to the golem again, and he’ll ask you which room you want to have the most power diverted to, choose the room with the mysterious box. Next choose the Scarab room, and then the narrow pipe room, and finally the least power will be put into the empty room.

Quickly run to the empty room, run in and pull the lever. Next, run to the room with the narrow pipe. Cross the pipe. Pull the lever and head back. Go into the Scarab room, and you’ll be attacked by a Giant Scarab (Level 206). He attacks with mage and melee, and can poison you, so wear melee gear, and pray mage, remember your anti-poison potions. Once you kill it, pull the lever in the room, and head to the final room, the one with the mysterious box.

The mysterious box is actually a rune puzzle. The number in the bottom corner is the number of tries you get. There are 3 machines on the right side of the puzzle that can be adjusted to gain 5 more tries each, for a total of 15 extra tries. Each spot is taken by a rune, and your job is to match all of the runes. There are 3 runes for each type. (The easiest way to do this is to take out a pencil and paper, and make a 6×6 grid. Tap each rune and record what it is onto its corresponding spot on your grid. Then match them up in sets of three). Once you have pulled all 4 levers without failing any, you will be able to enter the final room.

After you have pulled all 4 levers, the final room will open. Continue through it after getting more supplies, and watch for traps on the floor. Head straight down the passage, and stay going west until you find a room with the High Priest of Scabaras in it. Enter this room and speak to him. You now have to convince the High Priest that killing all non-Scabarites is wrong. You must do this diplomatically and cannot just kill him. When you have convinced him, he will talk to you about any questions you have concerning the Scabarites, which you write down in your diary, given to you previously by the archaeologists.

Head back to the High Priest in Sophanem for your reward.

Ultimate Tips to Success in Bounty Hunter

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Bounty Hunter

Hi everyone, I know you are wondering what this guide is about. It’s about Pking in bounty Hunter. I know we are all mad at Jagex for taking away PK and turn Runescape into ruinedscape.I’m one of the ones that are extremely ticked off because of this. PK is what I live for; I made tons of cash by Pking. It’s like a source to getting extremely rich. And JAGEX took it away .but they left us the second best thing bounty hunter. Well I’m going to teach you how to use these disadvantages to turn them into your advantage.

Rules of Bounty Hunter

  • Every time you kill a random person that is not your target, you have a 180 second penalty. You may not leave the arena or use protect item prayer. Every time you pick up an item while in penalty your time limit resets.
  • If you kill your target you will not get a penalty. Then the rules above will not apply.

Recent Updates

Jagex has improved the mini game so it is fair to the lower level players.

Here are the updates:

  • Players can now use locate bounty at a magic level of 25.
  • Players can not pile another player unless he/she is your target.

Well, enough about the rules and updates lets get to the main reason why I wrote this.

What Armor to Wear and What Items to Bring

Note: I did not make up the set names, The Pk champion of Runescape did. I simply used these names. So do not tell me these names are stupid. well honestly I think some are too.

Fighters

If you are a fighter you should wear the set True pk pure.

Requirements:

  • level 40 attack
  • level 40 ranged
  • high level of strength
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • any melee cape
  • leather boots
  • leather gloves
  • amulet of strength
  • Iron or steel armor set(kite shield, full helm, Platebody and legs)

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

Rangers

If you are a ranger you should wear the set Ranging skillage.

Requirements:

  • At least 40 range
  • At least 40 defense
  • At least level 25 magic

The set contains:

  • Maple longbow
  • 200 steel arrows
  • Green dragon hide set (Body, chaps and vambraces)
  • Amulet of power
  • Rune full helm
  • green cape

Why Steel Arrows?

Well steel arrows are easy to get. You can get them by killing the zombies in the stronghold of security. And they are fairly strong. But of course you can use mithril or adamant arrows.

Items in your inventory:

  • Runes needed for bounty locate
  • 25 lobsters

Mage

If you are a mage you should wear the set Magician of death.

Requirements:

  • Able to use fire bolt
  • Can run very fast
  • Fair level of defense
  • Range level of 40

The set contains:

  • Fire staff
  • Amulet of magic
  • wizard hat
  • wizard robe
  • leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • blue cape
  • green dragon hide chaps
  • Wooden or Anti-dragon Shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 200 chaos runes
  • 600 air runes
  • runes that are required for bind
  • 23 lobsters

Why do I need runes required for bind?

Well, because the mage has the least defense out of the three combat types.

So if you meet a fighter or a ranger that is not on your tail. You can bind them and run for your life!!!

Fighter Monk

If you are a fighter and you have high level of prayer then you should wear the set Prayer beast.

Requirements:

  • At least level 43 prayer
  • level 40 attack
  • fair level of strength

The Set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • Blessed holy symbol
  • Full Monk set(body and skirt)
  • Rune full helm
  • Leather vambraces
  • leather boots
  • orange cape
  • Anti-dragon shield or any other type of kite shield

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 Strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 lobsters

PK Master

Requirements:

  • At least level 40 attack
  • High level of strength
  • At least 40 defense
  • At least 43 prayer

The set contains:

  • Rune scimitar
  • Full rune set(Platebody, legs or skirt, Kite shield and Full helm)
  • Green dragon hide vambraces
  • Fighter or colorful boots
  • wilderness cape
  • Amulet of power

Items in your inventory:

  • 1 strength potion
  • Runes required for bounty locate
  • 24 swordfish

Is This Just Full Rune?

That’s right it is full rune. You may think full rune is nothing, but that’s where you are wrong. If you where full rune and have a decent defense and prayer on, you will be virtually invincible. Why you say? Because In a free to play world people bring rune scimitars and they can barely even scratch rune when you have prayer on. Even if they have a high level of attack.

How to Keep Your Runescape Bank Organised 90% of the Time!

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Skills

I don’t know if the spots were put there on purpose or not, but I hope they don’t take if away. The spots are a fun part of the mini game where player.

Are you tired of spending an hour every day organising your bank because you just can’t seem to keep your items in place? Read this..and you might just learn something.

First, I’d like to thank you for being interested in this guide.

I’ll be explaining you how to keep your RuneScape bank organised 90% of the time. Reason for me saying 90% is because it is nearly possible (still possible) to keep your bank organised 100% of the time. Either if it’s new items that came out, or when you take the item out, for example a purple party hat, the slots “shift” and you lose the place. The only way to not have that happen is if you have two sets of a party hat. But I’ll explain how to still keep it organised with only 1 set items.

First, I recommend you in putting your Coins in the first slot of the bank. Then put anything after that. I recommend you in putting Runes together, thus making is easier to teleport when in a hurry. Also put all ores together with the bars. If you have raw items, for example: Raw Sharks, cook them. They give you experience, and is now good for eating!

I strongly recommend you in putting 2 or even 3 Raw Sharks as a bank holder. This will never be used, and is here so that your bank doesn’t “slide” when taken out. Do this for all the “cheap” based items, like runes, ores, gems, etc.

The Not-So-Easy-Type to keep organised.

Some items are too much of a hassle to buy in 2 sets. As my example earlier, if you’re a fan of rares it’s always good to keep them at the bottom of your bank. Unless you can afford 2, but let me explain if you’re a person who could only afford 1 of an item. For example full dragon. Could be expensive, and just a hassle to buy two, which doesn’t help you in RuneScape other than keeping your bank organised. Keep your armour, weapons and anything you like to wear at the bottom of your bank. Therefor you can easily take it out, and put it back in the same order after.

If your bank is un-organised, spend 30 minutes orgranising it, (yes it could take that long, even up to an hour). It makes you feel proud and ever time you open your bank you see a wonderful organised wealth of yours.

Good luck!

My Arm’s Big Adventure

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Start Point: Talk to Burntmeat in the kitchen of the Troll Stronghold (basement of stronghold)
Items Needed: Climbing Boots, 7 Supercompost Buckets, 3 Buckets of Camel Dung *, a Spade, a Seed Dibber, a Rake, Plant Cure, 60% Favor in the Tai Bwo Wannai Minigame (machete required for the mini-game), Gloves or Gauntlets
Skills Needed: Level 10 Woodcutting and Level 29 Farming
Quest Requiments: Eadgar’s Ruse Quest, The Feud Quest, Jungle Potion Quest, must have at least 1% favor in the Tai Bwo Wannai Minigame

* - The buckets of Camel Dung can be obtained much quicker if you have completed the Enakhra’s Lament Quest, but it is not required (you will need a Camulet to use this easier method):

Head to Al Kharid with your Camulet equipped, and speak to Al the Camel, just outside the bank. Ask him if he would “give” you some camel dung. He will provide you with enough for three buckets full. If you have not completed Enakhra’s Lament, you will need to obtain the camel dung from the camel area in Pollnivneach. Use the The Feud Quest Guide to aid you in completing this task.

To begin this quest, head to the Troll Sronghold either by teleporting to Trollheim, or heading west of Burthope (with Climbing Boots equipped). When you arrive at the Troll Stronghold, head south through the corridor, and down the stairs
and speak to Burntmeat.
Content Image

When you speak to him, you will need to do him another favor he says, and get him goutweed. At this point, he will tell you that when he was attempting to cook an adventurer, he was told that he was able to grow goutweed. After rambling on about it, he speaks of his assistant, My Arm. He wants you to help him grow goutweed. After speaking with Burntmeat, head just east of Burntmeat, near the prison gates, and speak to My Arm.
Content Image

Before talking of serious matters, My Arm tells you that he got his name when he attempted to chew off his father’s arm. After some brief conversation, he wants you to head to the Death Plateau to search the large cooking pot in the center for the ‘goutweedy lump’. He will then tell you to talk to Burntmeat again, for good directions. When you speak to Burntmeat, you may or may not ask him ‘This place is a maze - got any advice?’ If you do, he will give you his directions to the Death Plateau.

Burntmeat’s Directions (Make sure you wear Climbing Boots):
When you ask him this, he will tell you to go side the north door of his kitchen, and walk all the way down the corridor. He then tells you to turn right at the end, head down the stairs to the prison. Walk straight through the prison; the back door of the stronghold is at the south end. Once outside, turn left and head a long way south-east along the path. At the end of the path, turn right and follow that path to the Death Plateau. (The Death Plateu is the big flat area with a bunch of trolls and some shelters.)

Content Image

When you arrive at the Death Plateau, search the large cooking pot with an Empty Bucket in your inventory. When you fish around in the pot (make sure you are wearing gloves), you will pull out the ‘goutweedy lump’. After you have the lump, head back to My Arm and give him the goutweedy lump. It turns out, he was just trying to see if the goutweedy lumps were actuall goutweed. He then will ask you to help him grow one. After some small talk, he will lead you to his farming patch outside the stronghold. When you arrive, head north and speak to My Arm again. He will give you a book to read, ‘Farmer Gricoller’s Farming Manual’. If you flip to page 13, it will talk about soil preparation for the mountain area.
Content Image

Note: My Arm’s Farming Patch is located up the ladder just before you reach the area where the (level-113) Troll Generals are located.

Speak to My Arm again, and you will tell him that you need three buckets of camel dung along with seven buckets of supercompost. At this point, Enakhra’s Lament Quest would be advantageous to have been completed, if you don’t already have the dung (if not, see the note at the beginning of the guide on getting compost).
Content Image

Head back the the Troll Stronghold and back to My Arm’s farming patch. Use your three buckets of ‘Ugthanki Dung’ and seven buckets of Super Compost on the patch. Once you have completed that task, speak to My Arm again. He will tell you that you both need to speak to Murcaily in Tai Bwo Wannai. My Arm will then take you all the way to Ardougne. Then, after scaring Captrain Barnaby, you will be on the ship. When you are riding on the ship, My Arm will discuss his theory of Troll Pirates and Sea Trolls. He will then start pestering you, asking if they have arrived yet. You will finally arive to be abandoned by My Arm.
Content Image

Head south of Brimhaven to find My Arm, located just east of the General Store. After speaking with him, head sotuh into the village, and speak to Murcaily. You two with argue back and forth about My Arm and goutweed. He will eventually tell you that you need a harder Gout Tuber to survive in the mountains. If you have more than 60% favor in the village, he will give you a hardy gout tuber. If you do not, you will need to gain favor in the village by hacking away at the brush with a Machete if you were doing the Tai Bwo Wannai Minigame.

After you have recieved the tuber, you will see My Arm in a cut scene destroying whatever is in his path, eventually ending up with you have many more hardy gout tubers. He then tells you that you both need to return to the patch, but first he explains to you his situation with the bird in the mountains. He tells you that there was a big bird that kept coming out and you will need some armor, weaponry, and food. You will then be placed back on the ship, dealing with My Arm’s “Are we dere yet?” questions. When you arrive in Ardougne, head to the bank and equip yourself for a fight.
Content Image

Head back to the Troll Stronghold, and to My Arm’s farming patch. Speak to him again and he will ask you to walk him through the steps of farming. Use a Rake with My Arm to clean the patch. Then, use the Hardy Gout Tubers with him. When he has taken the tubers, use your Seed Dibber with him. After he plants the tubers, you will witness him knock out a dwarf random event. After that, you will notice his plant has become diseased. Use some Plant Cure on him to cure the plant. Afterwards, he will inform you that the birds are watching them.
Content Image

You will be confronted with a (level-76) Baby Roc. Kill it and My Arm will be grateful that you saved his plant. However, after you have killed the Baby Roc, its mother will come. The Giant Roc, (level-176) is not an easy task. It knocks you back and stuns you, as well as hurls boulders at you. Attempt to attack it head on with protect from missiles, eating as it knocks you back and engaging it again. After awhile, My Arm will help you defeat the Giant Roc. If it knocks you away from the patch and My Arm, it may be useful to run back over to My Arm, so he can assist you in attacking - he may not do that much damage but it can help.

When you have killed the Giant Roc, use your Spade with My Arm so he will harvest the patch, gaining a farming level, as well as giving you some farming experience as well. After he eats the goutweed he just grew, he will tell you to head back to Burntmeat to inform him of the news, and maybe a reward. When you tell him the news, he will give you a “special” reward… loads of burnt meat. After you manage to drop all the burnt meat Burntmeat gave you, head back up and speak to My Arm. My Arm will tell you a secret about herbs. He also build you your own herb farming patch that he will make sure it never gets diseased.
