PRIEST IN PERIL QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Roald: King Roald will ask you to check on Drezel in the Guardian Temple northeast of Varrock. You can find it by going north along the fence that surrounds the Digsite area until it curves around. You’ll come to a gate. Go through it and follow the road east to the temple.
Temple: Knock on the doors and tell them that you’ve been sent to check on Drezel. You will be asked to kill a dog. This is down the trapdoor in the mausoleum just north of the temple. The dog is level 30, and shouldn’t be a problem. Once you’ve done this, go back and knock on the doors again. They will send you back to Varrock.
Roald: Go to King Roald again and tell him what you’ve done. He will be quite mad at you. When he’s done shouting and yelling, ask him what you can do to make it good again. Go back to the temple, this time go in and up the two sets of ladders.
Drezel: Talk with Drezel and he’ll tell you a long story. Now go downstairs and kill the level 30 Monks of Zamorak until you get a Golden Key. Once you have the key, go back down to the place where you killed the dog, but this time go further into the cave. Once you’re at some monuments and a well, ’study’ all the monuments.
Key and Water: When you find the monument which has a key, ‘use’ your Golden Key on it, and you will have the iron key to free Drezel. Use your bucket on the well to get some water from the river. Go back to Drezel and use your iron key on the door. Speak with him and get him to bless your water, then use it on the coffin in the centre of the room. Speak with Drezel once more.
Draining the evil: Now get as many essences as you can hold. Go back to the place you got the iron key and the holy water, and proceed through the next door. You’ll find Drezel again. Speak with him and tell him about what the rune essences can do. He’ll need 50 of them so go back and get the rest. Drezel doesn’t take essence notes.
Completeing the quest: Talk with Drezel and give him the last essences. The quest is now completed.

THE GREAT BRAIN ROBBERY QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Speak to Brother Tranquility on Mos Le’harmless. He will ask you to help him fend off some zombie pirates. Agree to help him and he will teleport you to an island called Harmony where he, other zombie monks, and zombie pirates reside. For future teleports, right click Brother Tranquility and select “teleport.” Go to the Saradomin statue, north of the granary you were teleported to. Zombie Pirates will be all over the island. Pull the statue aside to reveal a hole and climb down. You will see some stairs that lead into the water. Go down these. You will need your diving apparatus and helmet equipped. Once you are in the tunnel, run through more zombie pirates to the end of it where you will see some damaged stairs. Repair them. You will need 10 nails (bring extra just in case), a hammer, and 4 normal planks. Climb up the reparied stairs and you will find yourself in a room with bookcases. Use the option “Peep Through Peephole.” You will find out the Zombie Pirates are planning on knocking out the monks with sleeping gas. Report back to Brother Tranquility.
Tell Brother Tranquility the plot and he will send you to collect a prayer book from Edgeville Monastary. You will be teleported back to Mos Le’harmless. Go to the monastery and search the bookcase on the left side of the building. You will find the book of prayers. Read the book to find how to cure the monk’s disease. Pick the item asked by the book. It will be either Cabbage or Holy symbol. To get the cabbage, go south to the entrance of the mountain and then go northeast. Pick a head of cabbage in the patch north of the monastary. To get a holy symbol, go to Crafting Guild, mine silver, pick up the Holy mould (1st floor), smelt, complete with a ball of wool and have it blessed by the head monk in the monastary.
Return to Brother Tranquility who will teleport you back to Harmony and ask you to recite the prayer. Talk to Brother Tranquility again. He will ask you to bring Dr. Fenkenstrain to help them get their brains back. Go to Dr. Fenkenstrain in his castle. He is at the top of the central tower. You will ask him to help get the monks’ brains back. He will be scared to pass the werewolves, so you must find another way to get him to Harmony. He will tell you to talk to Rufus, the shopkeeper of the food shop in Canifis, and arrange for him to be shipped over to Harmony in a crate.
Go to Rufus with your Ring of Charos equipped. Ask him about the shipping order and he will say he wants cats in the crate and that they must be inspected. You will be given a wolf whistle to blow once you have made the crates and you will need to make some fake cats out of planks and fur, made on the craft bench in your or your friend’s house. Get your fake cats and crate part and build the crates on the ghost crate image next to Fenkenstrain in the tower. You will need all 6 crate parts, a hammer, and 20 nails. You will need to add a false bottom to the crate for the Fenksentrain to hide under; this requires 4 normal planks and 8 nails. Next fill the crate with your 10 fake cats. After that, you will need to blow your whistler and Rufus will appear and inspect the crate. After he leaves, he will give you a receipt. When he does this, you need to use it on the crate and the crate will teleport. Once the crate and the doctor have been moved, you will need to go back to Harmony and talk to Dr. Fenkenstrain. He will ask you to get some items for him. The items are: Cranial Clamp, Pair of Brain Tongs, Three bell jars, at least 30 skull staples, and a Hammer.
To get the items he asks for, you will need to go to the church north of where Brother Tranquility is. You will find the door to be blocked, so you need to go and get a powder keg, fuse, and a tinderbox from the ghost ship north of the church. Search the locker to get the fuse, go up the ladder and get a tinderbox. Finally, go and get a keg from the top deck of the ghost ship. When you have these three items, go back to the blockaded door of the church and use the keg on the door, then the fuse, and finally use the tinderbox on the fuse to destroy the door. Kill the Sorebones (Level 57) to get all of the items you need except for the hammer.
Once you have all of the items the doctor asked for, go back and talk to Dr. Fenkenstrain and he will perform the operation right then. Now that they are back to normal, talk to Brother Tranquility and he will tell you to confront Mi-Gor who is in the church north of where you are now. Now that you are ready for the final battle, go back to the church and confront Mi-Gor and his bodyguard Barrelchest (Level 190) will appear and attack you. Once he is dead, he will drop a broken barrelchest anchor which can be made into a weapon. Once you have confronted Mi-Gor and killed his bodyguard, return to Brother Tranquility and tell him that Mi-Gor has fled for your reward.

Want to level your ranged level in Runescape fast? Here’s how.
Ranging is one of the best choices when pking. Rangers hit high-damaging attacks in quick succession, and hit over and over again. Their disadvantage is that they are lightly armored, and take heavy damage from other rangers, and armored warriors as well.
Here’s your guide as to the quickest way to level ranged in the f2p world.
You will generally want the best equipment available for your level, and a large supply of bronze/iron arrows. Iron or bronze because it is the most cost effective way.
Note that there is a bit of an overlap between the selections of monsters. It’s generally the player’s choice when to move on to the next set of monsters.
Level: 1-15
Monster: Chickens
This is the best start for ranging, as chickens will not damage you, and you can sell the feathers for about 5 gp each. Each chicken drops about 5-15 feathers, and they sell fairly well on the Grand Exchange. There are chicken pens south of Falador, and north-east of Lumbridge. You can train prayer from picking up and burying their bones.

Level 11-25
Monster: Cows
Cows work pretty well until level 25. They are fairly good xp, and you can train prayer from their bones. I wouldn’t bother with the cowhides, it’ll slow you down too much. There are cows at both the crafting guild, and north-east of Lumbridge.

Monster: Monks
Another option is to go to the monastary, and kill monks. They are north-west of barbarian villiage, just south of Edgevile. You can heal using them, and they are good experience. Can train prayer on them as well.
Levels 26-40
Monster: Barbarians
Barbarians are in barbarian village. In the hall, they spawn along with food. Stand behind the tables, and farcast. This is fairly good exp, and this is how I got up to 40. It gets slow after 30 though. It is near a bank, which adds to convenience.

Levels 36-60
Monsters: Edgeville Guards
They are located at Edgeville. You simply step over the wilderness ditch, and you can range them with impunity. This is generally the fastest f2p spot to train ranged, and it is seldom crowded.

Another option is to go the stronghold of security and kill the level 27 minotaurs. They drop iron arrows fairly frequently, so you can sustain your training indefinitely there, and are good experience up to level 70, or you can go to the Varrock sewers and kill moss giants.
Levels 60+
Monsters: Lesser Demons
After doing Dragon Slayer, you can go down to Crandor and kill the lesser demons there. Once you get them non-aggressive, you can range them with impunity, as there are several safe-spots.

Well, that’s all!
Ever see those level 100 people walking around and acting like they’re “all that”? Wanna be like them? You don’t have to be a member, but you do need some patience. Sometimes it takes a while, but this can make it faster!
Monsters
- Purchase a weapon (ideally a scimitar for free players made of the best metal you can wield and a dragon longsword for members, since they have the best combination of speed, price, and power) Check the in-game guide by clicking on your attack skill, and you will see a popup of all the different metals you can use.
- On your attack menu, there should be a controlled fighting option, usually coming third on the list. Most often, this will be called “lunge.”
- Buy a multitude of strength potions. These can be made in P2P(members) with herblore. Additionally, raise your prayer level so you can use some defense prayers, and bring along some good food. Go to Varrock, and by the east gate there is some training dummies.Do not use your Strength potions, but keep attacking them. They always give you exp,but you can only train attack up to level 9.
- Find a spot populated by many monsters a few levels lower than you are. A good place to do this is in the Stronghold of Security. Go down the hole in the middle of Barbarian Village (west of Varrock) to get there. Start killing the monsters that fit the “slightly below your level” range.
- Be sure to drink a Strength potion whenever your strength level goes to the normal amount. A higher strength level, even temporarily, will make you hit harder, which means more experience points (xp) faster. Keep an eye on your health, and eat food whenever it gets low. Be sure to pick up drops and bury bones.
- Once you are on your last bits of food, turn on your defense prayer. The monsters will hit you less, so you can stay there longer. Be sure you recharge at an altar when you’re done, though.
Monks
- Bring a cheese string if you are not level 20 or higher.
- Go to the monks near the wilderness (its scary down there)
- Hit the monks and keep that up until you reach the level you want your player to reach.
Tips
- Strength and attack levels raise your level quicker than defence and hitpoint levels. Use the chop setting in your attack menu to raise attack, and slash to raise strength. Raise your defense level too, as this is also important.
- If you are a member, the process of raising your levels is slightly easier. You can kill Rock Crabs north of Relekka and Experiments in Fenkenstrain’s dungeon as these monsters have low combat levels but high amounts of hitpoints. You do not need food for these activities if your level is high enough.
- Also, play the minigame Pest Control. Although it is only available to members, this provides you with initial experience points from killing monsters, as well as money from winning the game. To make a triple-treat, when you win, you are awarded points which can be redeemed for experience in a combat skill.
- It’s important to get your cooking level up so you can cook various types of foods. For example, Anchovy Pizza heals 18 hitpoints with a cooking level of 55. Also, get your fishing up, as Lobsters and Swordfish both are awesome foods. You might moan and groan about getting to level 40 fishing and cooking, but these skills are not hard to raise up to lvl 40; in fact it isn’t hard to get 10 fishing and cooking levels in one hour if you do everything right.
- When training range and your around level 40 Range, train on Moss Giants or Lesser Demons(level 42 and 82) from behind rocks (I think this is the fastest FTP (free to play) way of training Range.
- For members, the Tz-haar fight caves are perfect to train on. You will never lose anything when you die, and you respawn right outside of it, even better, you get Tokkul, a new type of currency, every time you die. You can buy weapons, runes, armor and more there. You never need food or potions, unless you are trying to beat every wave of the monsters.
- Although lesser demons are level 82, they are not hard to beat. I have seen a level 9 mage with fire strike kill lessers from behind stalagmites, and they did not hit him once. Of course, meelee warriors have to go out into the open, but it still is not difficult.
- Kill Hill giants. They get killed pretty easily and drop big bones to level up Prayer or sell. Also, you could go into the Varrock Sewers, the skeletons there are pretty easy/good to kill. Finally, Elemental Wizards (South of the Air Altar which is south of Falador) are level 13 and they have 25 hp, meaning 100exp per kill, which is good for F2P. However, they are powerful for their level as they use their corresponding Bolt Spells (Airs use Air Bolt, etc.) When you kill them, they drop runes of their kind and ashes. Do not use their corresponding spells on them, for instance, do not use Fire spells on a Fire wizard, etc. Lastly, do not wear metal armor when fighting them.
- Kill lvl 45 skeletons on Crandor Island. They give around 250-300 xp each kill which will vary on some occasions. They are better then lesser demons until your lvl 100+ and you totally own lessers. The only reason they are better is: Lessers give 420 xp per kill, skeletons 300. You kill 2 skeletons in the time of 1 lesser

Start Point: Talk to King Roald in Varrock Palace
Requirements: Must have completed Rune Mysteries Quest, able to defeat a level 30 enemy
Items Required: Bucket, 50 Rune essence (unnoted)
King Roald can be found pacing in one of the rooms of the palace.
The way to the temple is shown below. You don’t have to follow the exact path I’ve drawn. Keep going after passing the gate.
Once you’ve reached the temple, you will find the doors are locked. Knock on the door and you will have a conversation between two mysterious people. After a while ‘Drezel’ will ask you to kill the dog below the temple. Climb down the trapdoor in the north and you will see the Temple guardian. Attack and kill it. The monks seems a little over enthusiastic about you killing the dog.
Well, report back to King Roald. Oops, looks like you’ve killed the wrong dog…
So let’s go back to the temple and find out what happened. This time, you can simply enter straight into the temple. Monks of Zamorak? Doesn’t sound like a good omen to me. Climb the staircase to the east of the temple and climb up the ladder to the South-West.
You will find the real Drezel locked up (THE Drezel, not ‘Drezel’) in a cell. Talk through the cell door. You will need to find the key to open the prison door. Go back down the trapdoor and through the gate to the south. You should then be in a room full of monuments.
Study the monuments and you will find the one nearest to the gate (circled in yellow) has a key. However, this key isn’t golden like the others. If you attempt to take it, you will suffer damage. You need to exchange it with something else. Kill a level 30 Monk of Zamorak. He is hooded, unlike others. He should drop a Golden key. Use it with the monument and you will get an Iron key. Before leaving the underground, use your bucket with the well (circled in blue).
Go back to Drezel and free him with your Iron key. Then ask him to bless your water from the river Salve. Use it on the coffin and talk to Drezel again. He will tell you to meet him underground. Go down the trapdoor once again and go through the gate to the North-East of the room of monuments. Drezel will require 50 unnoted Rune essence to clear the evil from river Salve. You have to make at least one trip back to the bank as you can only carry 28 items at a time.
Once you’ve given all 50 Rune essence to Drezel, you have completed the quest!
Rewards: 1 Quest Point, Wolfbane Dagger (Prevents People in the town of Canifis from changing into Werewolves), 1406 Prayer Experience, a route to Canifis
(This is a members-only feature.)
Start Point: Talk to Brother Omad in the Monastery south of the Ardougne Zoo
Requirements: Jug of water and one set of regular logs
To start this quest head to the Monastery located south of the East Ardougne Zoo. Talk to Brother Omad who is just chilling in between the two altars.

Brother Omad will cry about how his homie’s baby just keeps whining all night long… obviously he’s not married with children! So anyways you find out that the baby’s blanket was stolen. And you’re just the man/woman to find it!

Since you offered to help recover the blanket from the bloodthirsty thieves Brother Omad decides to tell you that they are hiding in a cave inside a circle of stones. Walk northwest from the monastery until you find yourself at the Clock Tower.
Once at the Clock Tower walk to the southwest of it and find the circle of stones. Walk inside and a ladder will magically appear!

Once in the cave go to the right where the red item dot is on the minimap. Beware of the man-eating level 14 thieves as they are not a force to be reckoned with. Grab the blanket and head back to Brother Omad.

When you talk to Brother Omad he’ll inform you about a happening party thats going to take place in the monastery. (Isn’t that some form of a sin?) Anyways, he needs some wine so you’ll have to find Brother Cedric. Easy as that sounds, Cedric is apparently drunk and passed out somewhere in the middle of the forest.

Head north from the monastery up to the zoo and Cedric will be right there walking around. He’ll be wasted so you’re going to have to give him that jug of water you’ve been carrying around with you. Once he sobers up a little bit he’ll tell you about how he needs some wood for his cart. Help him out and you’ll be set for the party!

Once you fix the cart with your logs just head back to Brother Omad and get your dancing shoes on. Be careful though, those monks seem to have more energy than someone on ecstasy. You might be stuck dancing for a couple of hours.

Congratulations! Quest complete!
