Special Attacks In Runescape

Posted by: runescape  //  Category: Runescape Guide

Special Attacks
Today we have introduced some special attacks to a variety of members only weapons. The dragon weapons, excalibur, rune throwing axes and magic bows now all have different special attacks. There are many types of special attacks, from temporary boosts in stats, to strikes dealing extra damage. For full details see this page.

In the combat interfaces of these weapons you will now notice a new special attack bar. If you click on the bar, then your character will initiate a special attack and use up some of your special attack power. Different special attacks use up different amounts of power. If you do not have enough power for a special attack, then you can’t do it. Your special attack power will slowly restore over time.

Expect more types of special attacks on future weapons.

Mining rocks and thieving from stalls

The new RuneScape launch inadventantly made it harder to gain resources from these in competative situations (where two or more people are trying to get the resource at once), since only one person could ever get the resource at a time. We have now fixed it back to the old behaviour where if both people are successful at the exact same instant, they will both get the resource.

Treasure trail clues

Two more npc types now drop treasure trail clues; happy hunting!

Strange fruit

Strange fruit now heals more run energy than it did previously.

Allow children to play Runescape?

Posted by: cow  //  Category: runescape

Runescape, a great game. Millions of people play every day and at the end of the day, everyone enjoys this. There are many arguments about how old you need to be to play Runescape, but all you need to play it is to know how to use a computer. When you start up on Runescape, there is much to do and if you don’t know how to do it, then Runescape NPC’s tell you how. There are only a few reason on why children shouldn’t go on Runescape and I’ll clear them up in this argument.

Firstly, people being rude on Runescape. If a child (say 8 years old for this case) went onto Runescape and saw someone swear on Runescape, it would be good for the child. This is because they don’t learn about any swear words because ALL swear words and any rude words are blocked with the * function. Also, this would be good because they learn about the world around them and how some people are not as nice as others and they will learn about who to make friends with and who not to. Also, children are honest to people. This means that if they see somebody bullying somebody else, they would report it instead of so called ‘cool’ people who find it better to join in. Therefore, in one sense, children would be making Runescape better for children to play on.

The next reason, violence and fighting. I would stop children going onto Runescape if there was blood and gore on the screen while fighting on Runescape, but there isn’t. All that happens when you fight is that you get a number on how many hit-points you took off your opponent. People may argue that because there is fighting in it, children shouldn’t be allowed to play it at all. One day though, they’re going to find out about fighting and what it’s all about. Why can’t it be the day when they go onto Runescape? If violence isn’t the child’s thing, then there is plenty of other things that he/she can do to entertain themselves. For example, the could go fishing or woodcutting. So why should they not be allowed onto the Runescape game?

Finally, children might not understand the concept about Runescape and what you’re meant to do on it. They might not really know what the point in an RPG game is but that doesn’t matter. If they don’t get what the point in Runescape (one of the best MMORPGs ever) then they’ll just stop playing.

In conclusion, I think that children should be allowed to go onto Runescape, but they should be at least into their first year in Primary School so they have friends already so they know which friends to make on Runescape and which people not to make friends with. Also, if they are this age, then they won’t release personal information about themselves.

Quest points gained: 1.
Required Skills: Be able to fight level 86 fire giants.
Required Items: Six of air, earth and water runes. Also need a few ropes. You can get ropes from Ned in Draynor Village, or from Arheln at his boat in Catherbury.
Monsters: Shadow spiders (level 52), Fire giants (level 86)
NPC: Almera (House north-east of Baxtorian Falls), Hudan (Western side of the river), Hadley (House south-east of Baxtorian Falls).

WATERFALL QUEST WALKTHROUGH
After talking to Almera, head around to the back of her house and board the raft there. It will take you towards the waterfall, but crash half way there. You should now see a little boy named Hudan. Talk with him, use your rope on the rock on the next island downstream which has the option “Swim to”. After that, use your rope on the dead tree on the island and you should end up at the door to the waterfall. Don’t enter it yet or you will take damage.
Jump in the barrel and you will be taken off the waterfall. Enter the house just north of where the barrel took you and talk with Hadley. After that go upstairs and search the bookcase to find the book named “Book on Baxtorian”. Read it and talk with Hadley again. After that you will have to go to the gnome maze and down the ladder just before the entrance to the Gnome Village. Go to the east and you will find a lot of crates and boxes, search them and you will find a key.
*X* When you have the key, go west and open the jail door. Inside you will find a little gnome, talk with him and he will drop a lot of junk. You will search it and find a pebble, ask if you can keep it. Now bank all of your armour and weapons and go back to Hadley’s house, go up to the grave a little north-east of there. Use the pebble on the tombstone and you will be taken down into the tomb. Go west and open the chest there, search it and you will find Glarials Amulet.
Note: You will not be able to enter the tomb if you have any armour or weapons on you.
Now take the southern path and search the tomb there. You will find an urn, exit the tomb again and go to the bank. Get out the runes, rope and whatever you will need to fight level 93 fire giants etc (keep the urn and amulet), and head back to the waterfall. Once again board the raft and use your rope on the rock, then your rope on the dead tree. But this time, wear the amulet and enter the waterfall. There will be 3 paths, one going east, one directly north and one west.
Note: Shadow Spiders drain half your prayer points.
Firstly go east and you will end up in a room with a lot of crates. Search them and you will find a key. Now go to the western path and enter the room with Fire Giants, go all the way north and use your key on the door to open it, now pick up the key on the floor and go through the next door. You will now be in a room with 6 pillars, use one air, one water and one earth rune on each of them, and then use your amulet on the Statue of Glarial. Use your urn with the Chalice and you will have completed the quest.

NPC: Wizard (main npc, quest start, Watchtower north-west of Yanille), Og (west of Yanille, settlement), Grew (west of Yanille, island), Toban (south of Yanille, island), Scavids (Caves in the Ogre area).

WATCH TOWER QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Head west of Yanille’s city gates until you reach a 3-storied building. Look for some climbing handholds on the northern side of the wall, climb up and proceed to the top floor. Talk to Wizard, and he will ask you to search the grounds. Exit the watchtower, and search all the bushes around the tower until you find the following items: An eye-patch, some fingernails, a dagger, some pieces of armour.
Go back up to the Wizard, this time you may use the ladder since you started the quest. He will tell you to communicate with the local settlements and learn the cross paths of the Ogre city. Take the lit candle from the ground floor of the tower; you’ll need this later on.
Og is the first you must talk to. Head west of Yanille and you should find him. Speak with Og and he will tell you that he will help you if you return his gold bar that was stolen by Toban. Og will give you a key for the chest where Toban has hidden the stolen gold bar. South of Og’s settlement you will see a small island. Use your rope with the tree on the island, and you will now swing across. Talk with Grew and he will ask for a tooth of his arch enemy; Gorad. While you’re there, you might as well pick up some jangerberries if you haven’t already.
Toban and Gorad are located on a small island south of Yanille. You won’t be able to access the bridge leading to the island since it’s out. Find the south-west cave entrance which will lead you onto the island. Kill Gorad (level 68) and get his tooth. Now talk with Toban who will ask you for a dragon bones, give it to him, and you’ll get your first part of an Ogre Statue. Now you may go open Toban’s chest to retrieve Og’s gold bar. Head back to Grew and talk with him to return the tooth you got from Gorad. As a reward he will give you your second part of the Ogre statue. Now return to Og and hand over his gold bar and he will give you your third and final piece of the Ogre statue. You should now also have one of the Crystals as well. Head back to the Wizard, use a piece of your Ogre Statue on him, and he’ll put it together.
Follow the road south of Yanille which will lead to the Ogre city. Take the western path, and you should reach some Ogre Guards. Use the statue on one of them, and they’ll let you enter their hidden and beloved Gu’tanoth. When you enter the market area, head southwest to find the rock cake stall. Right click and steal a rock cake from the stall, don’t eat it, you’ll to lose hp. On your way out follow the south pathway until you come across 2 Ogre Guards. Attempting to cross will result in a guard stopping you. As a fair trade to cross the bridge you must hand over a rock cake.
You will approach a rock at the end of the bridge. Before jumping you will be stopped to pay 20gp to a guard. Cross the bridge and talk with any of the guards to hear a Mystery riddle. Use a death rune (the answer to the riddle) on any of the guards to get a scavid map. Exit the Ogre city and visit the caves market. Make sure when entering each cave that you have both the lit candle and the map in your inventory. Enter each cave and speak with the Scavid’s inside by clicking on the correct option. By speaking with each Scavid you will develop and learn there language.
Now follow the path that leads southeast (the opposite of the path that leads to the Ogre city). Upon your arrival you will see 2 Ogre guards. Talk to one of the two guards, and in the end they will ask for a gold bar. Use your gold bar on any of the 2 Ogres to get through the gate. Follow the road, cross the bridge and then enter the cave there. Talk to the mad Scavid inside, and give him the correct answers and you will be granted the second crystal. Before you exit the cave take a couple of nightshades, as you will need these later on (Don’t eat them!).
It might be a good idea to visit the bank to get a dragonfire shield, and some food at this point (pickaxe as well).
Go to the market area again, and you should see a couple of guards guarding a cave entrance to the west. Use one of your nightshades one of the guards and to enter the cave. In the cave you will see Ogre Chieftains (level 74), Greater Demons (level 92), Blue Dragons (level 99), and finally Ogre Shamans (level 113). Go north inside the cave, and exit it, head back to the watchtower, and speak with the Wizard to learn about a special potion that will wipe out all the Ogre Shamans.
You will need the following items - jangerberries, guam leaf, bat bones, pestle & mortar and a water filled vial. Please make sure you mix the potion correctly, or it’ll explode. First mix the Guam leaf with the water filled vial, then add the jangerberries to the vial. Take your bat bones and use them with your pestle & mortar. This will grind the bones, add it as the last ingredient. Once completed the potion must be enchanted by the Wizard. Head back to the market place and use a second nightshade on the guards and enter. When you’re in the cave use the enchanted potion on all the Ogre shamans, and they will all die. After killing the last Ogre shaman he should drop the third crystal.
In the middle of the cave you should see a bridge with a huge boulder located at the end. Mine the boulder with your pickaxe to get the fourth and final crystal. Head back to the Wizard and follow his instructions.

Go through the Sherpa’s hut (or run the gauntlets of thrower trolls) to a junction on the ledge above the gauntlet, blocked by rocks. Climb the rocks and head east, you’ll come to a gate. When you try and open it, it will say you must defeat Dad.
Go in and defeat Dad (level 101, and does knock backs), and exit the arena using the other gate and follow the path. Go through several small caves and you will come to a circular mountain / maze - do not climb it, go round it to the areas to the northwest, again avoiding thrower trolls.
Walk through this area to an entrance to the stronghold where there will be lots of Trolls (level 69), enter the stronghold and go west to kill a general level 113, the general will hit a lot on you, so use protection from melee against him, he will drop a prison key. The prison is to the northeast, down two sets of stairs. Once down in the prison there are 2 guards sleeping, look in the room and there is a guard named twig, pickpocket him (or kill him) for the key to the prisoners’ cell (cell key 1). Go in the cell and talk with the prisoners.
Return to Denulth to claim your reward, he will send you to Dunstan who gives you a family heirloom - a Law Talisman.

Runescape SMOKING KILLS QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Speak to Sumona at Pollnivneach.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Quest Length: Short.
Reward: 5000 Slayer, access to a new Slayer Dungeon, Slayer Master and Slayer Incentives.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Quests: The Restless Ghost, Icthlarin’s Little Helper.
Required Skills: Level 25 Crafting, Level 35 Slayer, Level 85 Combat.
Required Items: Catspeak amulet, Ghostspeak amulet, Cat, Face mask, Earmuffs, Ranged weapon or attack runes.
Monsters: Mummy Warrior (Level 54) or Mighty Banshee (Level 90), Banshee Mistress (Level 111), Insectoid Assassin (Level 141).
NPC: Sumona, Catolax.

SMOKING KILLS QUEST WALKTHROUGH

Speak to Sumona in Pollnivneach. She can be found in a building just east of the player owned house portal in the north end of the city. Agree to help find her sister and then walk slightly south to the well within the nearby courtyard.

You must be wearing your Catspeak amulet at this point. Attempt to climb down the well and you will be interrupted by Ali Cat. He will warn you of the danger that lies down the well, as you cannot wear ear muffs and a face mask at the same time to protect yourself. Ali Cat will send you on a mission to seek out Catolax, a dead Slayer master.

Head to the Agility Pyramid by either taking the carpet to Sophanem and running east, or using your Pharaoh’s sceptre to teleport to the Agility Pyramid. Alternatively players can run from Pollnivneach to Nardah across the river and then run south from there, if players have completed Spirits of the Elid the bank available in the city can be helpful during the quest. From the Agility Pyramid head south-east through the gap in the desert wall to the darkened area of swamp and push reeds as you walk north to the steps. Go up the steps. Make your way to the passage, with the water source (you can use this to fill your waterskins), and head north along the west wall and you will find a Sealed Door with the option to search.

When you first get into the tomb you will see a pickaxe stuck in the wall, remove it as you will need it later. You will need to have your cat following you for this step. At both sides of the room you will see a small hole in the wall, which is big enough for your cat to fit through. Send your cat through one of these holes and it will open the door to the side of the wall. Equip something that allows you to do a ranged attack. Run into the room that you have just opened and once you have killed the three skeletons that appear, destroy the broken door. You cannot destroy the door whilst being attacked, which is why you need to kill the skeletons. If you do not have ranged or magic attacks then just run in and do some damage to the door before the skeletons can attack, then keep running out and back in again until you have destroyed the door. Once the door is destroyed, progress through the tunnel.

It is possible to disable the traps, but it is difficult. One space behind each wall trap there is a very faint marking that has a ‘Search wall’ option, chose this and you can temporarily disable the nearby trap. If you fail to disable the traps they will do around 15 damage each time, you can run past all the traps and get straight into the final room whilst only taking damage from the traps once, this is not recommended but it is much quicker. When you reach the room at the end you will be attacked by four monsters, around level 50 combat, kill them all. You will then see a Mummy Warrior (Level 54) wake up out of the sarcophagus. It will drop a key, use this on the locked door next to you, this will allow you to pull the lever which will disable the remaining traps that you have not disabled (apart from the ones down the middle corridor). Make your way to the opposite room, search the tombs, then kill the four enemies again. Once again, kill the Mummy Warrior and unlock the door, then pull the lever..

Once you have pulled both levers, you will safely be able to make your down the middle corridor. Equip your Ghostspeak Amulet then talk to Catolax. You will learn how to combine earmuffs with face masks. To combine your Earmuffs and your facemask, select one of the item and use on the other item. This will produce Masked Earmuffs. Now you are ready to find Sumona’s sister. Equip your Masked Earmuffs and make your way down the well, once down you will need to follow the north corridor, until you get to a room full of Mighty banshee (Level 90).

Head to the north of the room where you will see a long red barrier, at which you will need to kill a Mighty banshee and pick up its “Banshee voice” to pass. The ensuing battle is very difficult without the aid of range protection prayer. It is highly recommended that you use it to be able to easily conduct the fight. Once you pass the barrier, you will have a short talk then you will begin combat. You are first attacked by the Banshee mistress (Level 111) who will use magic and melee to attack you. Once she is at a low health, she will call the four Insectoid Assassins (Level 141) to attack you, they will use range. Once the Banshee mistress is dead, Jesmona will kill the four Insectoid Assassins. Return to Sumona to complete the quest.

Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 33 Magic, Level 37 Ranged, Level 37 Mining, Level 37 Thieving.
Required Items: 5 gps or a shantay pass, 1 law and 1 air rune, needle and a thread, a weapon with a slash-option, a weapon with a crush or smash-option, a weapon with a stab-option, pickaxe, rope, a bow and some arrows, a knife, some kind of light-source(lantern, candle etc.).
Monsters: Black Golem (level 75), Gray Golem (level 75) and White Golem (level 75).
NPC: Awusah the Mayor, Ghaslor the Elder, Shiratti the Custodian, Nirrie, Hallak, Tirrie.

SPIRITS OF THE ELID QUEST WALKTHROUGH
First of all you need to walk southeast from Shantay Pass to reach Nardah. The easiest way of finding Nardah is to go towards the Ruins of Uzer and going south just after passing the bridge crossing the river Elid. Use the flying carpets from Shantay Pass to Pollnivneach and then again to Nardah from south-Pollniveach. Once you are there, head east to the big house and talk to Awusah the Mayor. Talk to him for a moment and accept to help him. Go to the northeastern house in the village and talk to Ghaslor the Elder. He will give you a scroll to read. Go one house west from Ghaslor. Talk to Shiratti the Custodian and ask about the key. Telegrab the key from the table. Search the cupboard on the northwestern corner of the house. Use your needle and thread on the robes to fix them. Wear them and get ready to enter the dungeon. Take the weapons, the robes, a rope, bow and a few arrows and your pickaxe with you. Walk west until you find a river and follow it all the way north. Use your rope on the root hanging above the cave to get inside. Inside go through the first doors and then prepare yourself to fight the Golems. Each Golem has their own weakness. Black golem is weak to crush and smash-attacks. Grey golem to slash-attacks. White golem to stab-attacks. Open the doors on the east side of the cavern, fight the golems and go in to make the water flow again. In one of the rooms you have to range the target on the other side of the water pipe to get the water flowing, in other rooms you only need to use your pickaxe to clear the rubble out of the way. After clearing the three pipes proceed north through the next dual-doors. Talk to the spirits Nirrie, Tirrie and Hallak and ask if the town can have their water supply back. The spirits will ask you to bring the statuette back to its place. Go back to the mayor and ask where the statuette is. He tells you that they threw it into a crevice. Take a pair of the mayors shoes with you near the door of his house. Go west and take a light-source and a rope with you. Go down the crevice and proceed through the door to the north to find a genie. Talk to the genie and ask what he wants for the statuette. The genie wants the sole of the mayor. Use your knife on the mayors shoes to get the soles out and give one to the genie. The genie will give you the statuette. Take the statuette the temple where you telegrabbed the key and use it on the statue plinth. This completes the quest..

Runescape RAT CATCHERS QUEST STRATEGY GUIDE

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Go to Gertrude’s House just west of Varrock, you must have a cat or a kitten with you.
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: 4,500 Thieving experience, Access to the Rat Pits, Unlocked Wiley and Lazy cats.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Quests: Gertrudes Cat and Icthlarin’s Little Helper.
Required Items: An empty vial, one kwuarm, one red spider eggs, 4 pieces of cheese, one grounded unicorn horn, one marrentil, one bucket of milk, one weed, one tinderbox and a pot and some food for your cat. Note: You must also have a kitten or cat. Overgrown cats can’t catch rats, so an overgrown cat is of no use for this quest.
Suggested: Teleport runes to Al-Kharid, Varrock and Ardougne.
NPC: Gertrude, Phingspet, Grimesquit, Jimmy Dazzler, Hooknosed Jack, Smokin’ Joe, The Face and Felkrash.

RAT CATCHERS QUEST WALKTHROUGH
GFirst of all you need to talk with Gertrude. She will tell you to go and see two ladies: Phingspet and Grimesquit, who you will find in the Varrock Sewers. Your cat will have to kill at least 8 rats before they will speak with you. Once complete the rats are killed, they will give you a rat pole. Now speak with Jimmy Dazzler, in the house behind the pub in East Ardougne, which is north of the castle. He knows of a man outside Ardougne hosting a party. The man needs his mansion cleared of rats. This is a job for you and your cat. You will have to move through the house, stealthily. Jimmy will give you some directions. If you follow the directions you will find the mansion. Stay out of the field of view of the guards or they will teleport you back to one of three restart points (the restart point will depend on how far you got). There is one rat in a bedroom on the first floor, two rats in a spare room on the first floor, two rats in the guard’s dormitory, and a rat or two in the kitchen. Get at least one from each room. Your character will tell you when you’ve killed enough. When you return to Dazzler he will give you an overview of the kitten pits and send you back to Varrock to speak with Hooknosed Jack who he can be found in the fenced in area south-east of the east bank. Hooknosed Jack doesn’t have a lot of free time. You’ll have to run an errand for him. You’ll need to give him the ingredients to make rat poison: kwuarm, red spider eggs, and vial and put it on four pieces of cheese. Go to the warehouse directly south of you, and go up the ladder to the first floor. You will need to place a piece of cheese in front of each of the rat holes and report back to Hooknosed Jack. He will tell you that his cat Pox has eaten some rats that you’ve poisoned and is sick. Go to the Apothecary on the other side of Varrock. You will be asked for: marrentil, grounded unicorn horn, and some milk to make some antipoison for Pox. Take antipoison potion back to Jack and he’ll tell you that there is still one king rat that you must dispose of in the warehouse. You will not be able to put poison in the crack in the wall. The crack is big enough to put your cat through. Take extra food for your cat in this fight as the king rat has about three times as many hit points as your cat and your food will be needed to heal your cat. Place it in the crack of the wall where you put your cat in. Once the king rat is dead go back to hooknose, and he will send you to Smokeout Joe in Keldagrim, to teach you what to do with overgrown cats. Smokout Joe is on the far East side of the city, behind the mining shop. Smokeout Joe is a bit under the weather and cannot finish a task of smoking some rats out of a hole. You will need to make a smoking device of your own to finish off his job. Get your pot and your weeds and your tinderbox. Put the weeds in the pot and light it using the tinderbox. Use this pot with the nearby rat hole, and you’ll see the rats run out the other side when the smoke is blown in, and then retreat when it is clear. Set your cat down and your cat will offer to take guard on the other side to ambush the rats as they come out, so they cannot retreat when the smoke clears. Once this is done, Smokeout will have you go speak to The Face in Port Sarim. The Face tell you to talk to a bard downstairs, Felkrash who agrees to help - if you can get rid of all the rats in Port Sarim in one action. This is not easy. Go out of the Port Sarim pits and speak to The Face again. She’ll mention the snake Charmer in Pollnivneach. You’ll need a few coins to get him out of his trance, and a couple hundred more to get him to teach you what to do. Once he refuses to teach you for the amount of coins you have, tell him no thanks. If you dont have ring of charos, choose the walk away slowly option and he will slowly drive his own price down, if you do have it, you should be able to talk his price down to 50gp. He will give you both a sheet of music, and a charming device. Head back to Port Sarim on the docks or near the manhole and play this tune. Simply click on the flute to play it. You see that you are on the first of 8 pages. On the first page select the first note that is on the sheet of music that you got off the snake charmer so that it turns red. Then go to the seconds page (do not press play, just select the next note and go to the next page). On the second page you select the second note from the snake charmers sheet of music. Do this for all 8 pages. There are 8 notes on the snake charmers sheet of music. Once you have put one note onto each page you then press play and you should get a cutscene. This completes the quest..
Please note: Remember to click on the icon that looks like a gust of wind if the music sheet shows a note with that symol above it. Only select the ‘wind icon’ for the note that it appears over, not on all 8 pages.

Speak with Burntmeat again, he will refresh your memory for the way back to the Death Plateau. Follow Burntmeats instructions and you will end up at the Death Plateau. Use an empty bucket on the cooking pot to retrieve a lump of goutweed . Follow the steps back to get back to My Arm. You can get a bucket at Death Plateau if you forgot yours. My Arm will eat the lump of goutweed. He will tell you about how he has been trying to farm for a while with no success. He will take you upstairs past the Generals quarters up to the top of the stronghold. There is My Arms farming patch.
Speak with My Arm once again and he will give you a Farming Book. It tells you that you need to fertilize the soil with three buckets of camel dung and seven buckets of super compost. Teleport to Al-Kharid using your Glory Amulet or Dueling Ring. If you have a Camulet speak with Ali the Camel outside Al-Kharid bank. If you don’t have a Camulet, go to the Shantay Pass and ride the magic carpet to Pollnivneach. Run to the kebab shop near the camel pen and buy a bottle of hot sauce. Go to the camel pen and use the sauce with the troughs and wait a few seconds. Use your three buckets with the dung to get three buckets of camel dung.

Teleport back to Trollheim and go to My Arms farming patch. Use the camels dung with the patch to fully fertilize the patch. Speak with My Arm again and he will inform you that Burntmeat wants you to go to Tai Bwo Wannai village to collect some Hardy Gout Tubers. My Arm will tell you about using the boat in Ardougne to get to the village and you will see yourself on the boat with My Arm. You will have a conversation and get off the boat. My Arm runs off feeling ill.

Go to Tai Bwo Wannai village and go to the Teak and Mahogany tree pen and speak to Murcaily who is outside it. Ask him about My Arm and he will say he has not seen My Arm. Go to the Jungle General store and you will see My Arm nearby. Talk to him and run back to Murcaily. Murcaily will tell you that he will give you some Hardy Gout Tubers if you get 60% village favour . Use your machete to chop down the jungle and repair the fence. Once you reach 60% talk to Murcaily again. He will give you some Hardy Gout Tubers and you will go to a cutscene where My Arm is destroying the jungle. After the attempts to stop him fail you will be told to leave the village. My Arm will tell you about a bird that attacks his crops and that you should head to the bank before going back.

Go to the bank and withdraw your armor, food, and potions. Make sure you bring the Gout Tubers with you and teleport back to Trollheim. Run to My Arms plantation again and talk to him. You will tell him that he needs to rake his patch. Go get your rake, seed dibber, bucket of compost, and plant cure from the leprechaun. Give him the rake and he will try to rake his patch. He may break the rake, so go pick up the head and put it back with its body. Give him the rake again and he will successfully rake the patch. Talk to him and he will want to use compost with the patch. Give him compost and he will treat the patch to some compost. Speak to him again and he will ask for some sort of seed planting device. Give him the seed dibber and he will plant the Gout Tubers. You will be attacked by a Baby Roc. Kill it and My Arm will tell you about the bigger bird. The Giant Roc will attack you so be ready. Use your potions and use protect from range (if you protect against range, he will use melee, so wear rune armor). The blast of his wings may knock you back so have auto retaliate on and attack back once he stuns you. Once he is dead, check the plot for disease. Talk to My Arm again and he will harvest the crop. You will receive experience for each Goutweed he harvests. Once he gains a farming level, he will thank you and tell you to go to Burntmeat for your reward. Go to Burntmeat to receive lots of burnt meat. You tell yourself that maybe My Arm will give you a better reward. Go back to My Arm and ask him for a better reward and you will be rewarded.

Starting location: The mountain camp east of Rellekka.
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: 1000 attack experience, 2000 prayer experience.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Must be able to defeat a level 70.
Required Items: Rope, plank, gloves, pickaxe, weapons, armour, food, hatchet.
Required Monsters: Kendal level 70.
NPC: Hamal the chieftain, Jokul, Ragnar, Svidi, Brundt the chieftain.

THE START
Items for this part: Rope
Description: Talk to the chieftain of the mountain camp. To reach him you will need to go east from Rellekka until you find a swaying tree. Go to the north-east to find a path into the mountains. Here you will find some rocks, if you attempt to climb over the guard will stop you. Take the small path north of him, leading to a boulder with a push option. Pushing it is useless but if you go and stand south of it and use your rope on it, you will go down to the path behind the guard. Walk further east to find the mountain camp. Talk to Hamal the chieftain at the quest point to start the quest. He will tell you his daughter went missing. It’s your job to find her. Enter some tents and you will be able to pass the guard at the entrance without using your rope. You will find this useful later in the quest.

THE DAUGHTERS SPIRIT
Items for this part: plank.
Description: To the south of the chieftain’s tent you will find some mud. Take it with your bare hands. Go to the tent north of the chieftain and take a pole from the garden with the goats. Follow the path to the north until you find Ragnar. He will tell you about going to marry the daughter you seek and that he has heard her voice from the lake. Next to him is a slippery tree. Use the mud with this tree. You can now climb the tree. On the next island, use your pole with the stones in the middle to reach the second island. On this island, use a plank with the flat stones to build a bridge. You can now listen to the shining pool. When doing so you will hear the daughter speak to you. She will tell you she is dead but will ask you for two favours.

THE DAUGHTERS TASKS
Items for this part: Pickaxe, gloves, plank.
Description: Your first task is to make peace with Rellekka. Talk to the chieftain about this. Go outside the camp, back to the swaying tree. Go north and search for Svidi between the black unicorn loan. He is still in the green tree part of the forest. Talk to him and he will ask you for a safety guarantee. Go to Rellekka and talk to Brundt the chieftain to tell him about the messenger. He will tell you to get an ancient rock. This can be found back in the mountain camp, in the southern hut. Use your pickaxe with it to cut off a part of it. Go back to Brundt and show it to him, you will get the safe passage guarantee. Show this to Svidi and your done.
The second task is to supply the camp with food. Talk to Jokul, the goat keeper, about this. He will tell you about white pearl which can grow even on snowy mountains. Go to the white wolf mountain gnome glider and pick a piece of fruit while wearing your gloves. Eat the fruit to get the seed. Take the seed back to the mountain camp chieftain. Talk to him about both Rellekka and the food supply. Go back to the middle of the lake and talk to the daughter again. She will tell you to do one more thing for her.

THE DAUGHTER’S BODY
Items for this part: Weapons, armour, food, hatchet.
Description: From the middle island, just walk into the lake from the stones as the water won’t hurt you and it’s a nice shortcut. From here go east and cut some trees to reach a white cave. Go in here and south to find a bear called Kendal. Talk to him and try a few options until you get an option about him looking like a man in a suit instead of a god. Choose this and talk to him about wanting to take the corpse of the girl, then tell him you will kill him.

THE BURIAL
Description: Kill the man in the bearsuit to get his head and keep it. Take the corpse of the girl found in the cave. Go back to the chieftain he will tell you how to bury the girl. Get five rocks from around the camp, they are all the same so you can use one or two respawns. Now go to Ragnar and get a necklace from him. Go back to the middle of the lake one last time and try to bury the corpse. Now use one of the rocks with the burial grounds to finish the quest.
