Monsters: Trolls (level 69), Dad (level 101), General (level 113).
NPC: General Denulth (Burthorpe training camp), Twig (Troll Stronghold jail).

TROLL STRONGHOLD QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Firstly talk to the General Denulth in Burthorpe training camp, and if you don’t have any climbing boots, go to Tenzing and you can get the boots from him. Go through the Sherpa’s hut (or run the gauntlets of thrower trolls) to a junction on the ledge above the gauntlet, blocked by rocks. Climb the rocks and head east, you’ll come to a gate. When you try and open it, it will say you must defeat Dad.
Go in and defeat Dad (level 101, and does knock backs), and exit the arena using the other gate and follow the path. Go through several small caves and you will come to a circular mountain / maze - do not climb it, go round it to the areas to the northwest, again avoiding thrower trolls.
Walk through this area to an entrance to the stronghold where there will be lots of Trolls (level 69), enter the stronghold and go west to kill a general level 113, the general will hit a lot on you, so use protection from melee against him, he will drop a prison key. The prison is to the northeast, down two sets of stairs. Once down in the prison there are 2 guards sleeping, look in the room and there is a guard named twig, pickpocket him (or kill him) for the key to the prisoners’ cell (cell key 1). Go in the cell and talk with the prisoners.
Return to Denulth to claim your reward, he will send you to Dunstan who gives you a family heirloom - a Law Talisman.

Runescape EADGAR’S RUSE QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Taverly herblore shop, upstairs, speak to Sanfew.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: 11,000 Herblore experience and Trollheim teleport (requires 2 fire runes and 2 law runes to cast, it’s level 61 magic, will teleport you on top of Eadgars cave).
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Skills: 31 Herblore.
Required Items: A Ranarr Weed, a Vial (able to mix these to make room), 5 pieces of Raw Chicken, 2 Normal Logs, a Tinderbox, 10 Grains of Wheat, a Pestle and Mortar, a Knife, a bottle of Vodka (buy from gnome stronghold) and a Pineapple. Helpful to have Ardougne and Camelot teleport.
Required Quests: You must have completed the following quests: Druids Ritual, Death Plateau and the Troll Stronghold.

EADGAR’S RUSE QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Climbing boots:
After speaking to Sanfew, put on your climbing boots, you can buy them from Terzing for 12gp. Terzing is located on the southwest end of the Troll Mountains. Now go to the mountain within the Troll Stronghold. Easiest way is: Go up the path, through a house, up the path, jump over the rocks, and go right over more rocks. Run past Dad, and then follow the path on until on your map there is a big hill. Make sure your energy and protect from range are ready. Follow the path still until you hit some rocks to climb up, go up, stick your prayer on and run past the trolls which throw the rocks.
Mad Eadgar: Now you are able to climb the mountain. Go up to the top, into the cave and here you will find the one and only Mad Eadger. If he is not in his cave, he might have been captured. If this is the case, you’ll have to go to the jail and pickpocket the troll guard Twig (like in Death Plateau Quest) and free Eadger, then return to his cave and talk with him. He will tell you to go within the Troll Stronghold and speak to their chef: ‘Burntmeat’. Go down the hill to the West, and there will be a small area with 5 or 6 trolls, run past them and there will be a path going upwards, go up this and into the Stronghold.
The human stew: Go south and go down the stairs at the end of the corridor, speak to the chef there. He will say he wants a Human stew before telling you about the Goutweed herb. Follow the route you have just taken and go back to Eadger, he will say you need a parrot.
The parrot: This means you have to travel to Ardougne. Use your knife with the Pineapple, and dice the Pineapple. Speak to Parroty Pete and ask all 3 options. Now you will be able to mix the diced Pineapple with the Vodka. You will receive alcho-chunks, use this on the aviary hatch at the West end of the cage and you will receive a drunk parrot.
English parrot: Head back to Eadgar with the Parrot, and you will have to hide him within the Troll Stronghold. Go down to the lowest level using the stairs on the East this time, which will take you to the jail and hide the Parrot under the rack so he learns English.
Human clothes: Now you will need to get some Dirty clothes. Speak to Eadgar, then go back to Sanfew, he will tell you to speak to Tegid who is just outside the Herblore shop, next to the river doing his washing. Use the option ‘Sanfew won’t be very happy…’ This time, take back this with you: 10 Grains, the Pestle and Mortar, the Ranarr Unfinished Potion, 5 raw pieces of Chicken, two Normal Logs and a Tinderbox.
The Potion of Truth: Go back to Eadgar and he will ask you to get the Parrot back, so go back to the racks then go back to Eadgar again. He will take all the Items needed off you and tell you about a ‘Potion of Truth’.
The fake man: Go outside the cave and there are 5 or so grassy areas around the cave, search for a ‘Troll Thistle’ (each time it’s picked, it spawns in a different grass area, so make sure you check all of the areas). After picking, light a fire, and use the Thistle on the fire, as the one in Eadgars cave is occupied by his stew. Crush this and add it to the Ranarr Unfinished Potion. Now speak to Eadgar again and he will give you a ‘fake man’.
Fooling Buntmeat: Go back to Burntmeat and give him the fake man, he will stupidly tell you where the storage room key is. Go to the back of that small area and search in the drawers until you find the key. Next look on the map to see stairs leading down (should be behind your character after receiving the key). Go down and there is a small maze type feature to get the Goutweed.
Goutweed: Hide in a small area within the boxes, then when a troll goes past you run south and grab a Goutweed (there is a troll standing next to it but he doesn’t seem too notice you steal one). You only need 1. After grabbing the Goutweed, go back to Sanfew and the quest is completed.

Runescape DEATH PLATEAU QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Speak with Denulth located in southern Burthorp (north of the Heros’ Guild).
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: 3k Attack Exp, Steel Claws and ability to make them. You can also buy climbing boots from the Sherper for 12gp each, allowing you to cross the secret path for some troll killing. They do not need to be spiked.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Items: 10 cooked trouts, 10 pieces of bread (either cook it, steal from the Yanille Watchman or buy from players/jungle store/baker in Ardougne), 1 asgarnian ale (bar in the quest area or in Falador), 1 iron bar, might need a Blurberry Special (You can get this from the bar in the Grand Tree (Gnome Stronghold))
NPC: Dunstan (behind the castle to the east).
DEATH PLATEAU QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Denulth tells you trolls have taken over the Death Plateau and are using it to launch nightly raids, however they can’t get to invade the camp because the main path is heavily guarded. It has now become your job to find a different path to the death plateau. You also have to open the equipment storage and that requires a certain combination that a guard has.
Section one of the quest: Obtaining the combination from the Guard:
Go to the top floor of the castle, and talk to Eohric about where the guards are. He will tell you that there is only 1 guard on duty (Harold), and that he is at the Toad and Chicken Pub. Go to the pub to find him. You try and talk to him, but he doesn’t want to talk about the combination so go back and talk to Eohric. He will tell you if you buy Harold a beer he might talk to you.
Buy Harold an asgarnian ale and try talking to him again, this time he will tell you he lost the combination, and that he’s searched everywhere. Now ask him if he wants to gamble. Keep trying to bet him until you get an Iou you will only get an Iou betting in amounts between 300-1000gp, it will be on the back of the combination.
Note: If you are not winning he probably isn’t drunk enough best chances if you give him a blurberry special
Head back to the castle and you’ll see some stones on the ground, pick up the 5 stones and place them in this order:
Blue is far south-west, Yellow is far south-east, Red is mid-west, Purple is mid-east, Green is far north-east.
Go upstairs and talk with the archer there, he will thank you for getting the combination right.
Section two of the quest:
Walk north-west towards the Death Plateau you will find a cave. Go in and talk to Saba. Ask if he knows another path to the Death Plateau. This guy is a mean old grump, but would love to get rid of the goblins he tells you. He also tells you about a sherpas.
Sherpas’ house: Go south-west and talk to Tenzing, ask for his help. He wants 10 loaves of bread, 10 cooked trout and some spiked boots in return to help you. He will hand you some climbing boots, take those to Dunstan to get them changed into spike boots. He tells you that he will make you the boots under one condition, that his son is made into an imperial guard.
Talk to Denulth (where you started the quest) and now you get to tell Denulth that you have found a new path however it will only be shown under the condition that Sherpas has spiked boots and the whole story. Denulth makes an exception and gives you a certificate to accept Dunstan’s son into the imperial troops. Now simply go back to Dunstan with an iron bar and the certificate.
Now you should have your spiked boots, go back to Tenzing and give him his supplies. Tenzing gives you a map of the secret area. You need to check the path before telling Denulth about it. Go out his door and climb over the stile and walk up the path and as soon as you see the message saying its safe, go and talk to Denulth.

My Arm’s Big Adventure

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Start Point: Talk to Burntmeat in the kitchen of the Troll Stronghold (basement of stronghold)
Items Needed: Climbing Boots, 7 Supercompost Buckets, 3 Buckets of Camel Dung *, a Spade, a Seed Dibber, a Rake, Plant Cure, 60% Favor in the Tai Bwo Wannai Minigame (machete required for the mini-game), Gloves or Gauntlets
Skills Needed: Level 10 Woodcutting and Level 29 Farming
Quest Requiments: Eadgar’s Ruse Quest, The Feud Quest, Jungle Potion Quest, must have at least 1% favor in the Tai Bwo Wannai Minigame

* - The buckets of Camel Dung can be obtained much quicker if you have completed the Enakhra’s Lament Quest, but it is not required (you will need a Camulet to use this easier method):

Head to Al Kharid with your Camulet equipped, and speak to Al the Camel, just outside the bank. Ask him if he would “give” you some camel dung. He will provide you with enough for three buckets full. If you have not completed Enakhra’s Lament, you will need to obtain the camel dung from the camel area in Pollnivneach. Use the The Feud Quest Guide to aid you in completing this task.

To begin this quest, head to the Troll Sronghold either by teleporting to Trollheim, or heading west of Burthope (with Climbing Boots equipped). When you arrive at the Troll Stronghold, head south through the corridor, and down the stairs
and speak to Burntmeat.

When you speak to him, you will need to do him another favor he says, and get him goutweed. At this point, he will tell you that when he was attempting to cook an adventurer, he was told that he was able to grow goutweed. After rambling on about it, he speaks of his assistant, My Arm. He wants you to help him grow goutweed. After speaking with Burntmeat, head just east of Burntmeat, near the prison gates, and speak to My Arm.

Before talking of serious matters, My Arm tells you that he got his name when he attempted to chew off his father’s arm. After some brief conversation, he wants you to head to the Death Plateau to search the large cooking pot in the center for the ‘goutweedy lump’. He will then tell you to talk to Burntmeat again, for good directions. When you speak to Burntmeat, you may or may not ask him ‘This place is a maze - got any advice?’ If you do, he will give you his directions to the Death Plateau.

Burntmeat’s Directions (Make sure you wear Climbing Boots):
When you ask him this, he will tell you to go side the north door of his kitchen, and walk all the way down the corridor. He then tells you to turn right at the end, head down the stairs to the prison. Walk straight through the prison; the back door of the stronghold is at the south end. Once outside, turn left and head a long way south-east along the path. At the end of the path, turn right and follow that path to the Death Plateau. (The Death Plateu is the big flat area with a bunch of trolls and some shelters.)

When you arrive at the Death Plateau, search the large cooking pot with an Empty Bucket in your inventory. When you fish around in the pot (make sure you are wearing gloves), you will pull out the ‘goutweedy lump’. After you have the lump, head back to My Arm and give him the goutweedy lump. It turns out, he was just trying to see if the goutweedy lumps were actuall goutweed. He then will ask you to help him grow one. After some small talk, he will lead you to his farming patch outside the stronghold. When you arrive, head north and speak to My Arm again. He will give you a book to read, ‘Farmer Gricoller’s Farming Manual’. If you flip to page 13, it will talk about soil preparation for the mountain area.

Note: My Arm’s Farming Patch is located up the ladder just before you reach the area where the (level-113) Troll Generals are located.

Speak to My Arm again, and you will tell him that you need three buckets of camel dung along with seven buckets of supercompost. At this point, Enakhra’s Lament Quest would be advantageous to have been completed, if you don’t already have the dung (if not, see the note at the beginning of the guide on getting compost).

Head back the the Troll Stronghold and back to My Arm’s farming patch. Use your three buckets of ‘Ugthanki Dung’ and seven buckets of Super Compost on the patch. Once you have completed that task, speak to My Arm again. He will tell you that you both need to speak to Murcaily in Tai Bwo Wannai. My Arm will then take you all the way to Ardougne. Then, after scaring Captrain Barnaby, you will be on the ship. When you are riding on the ship, My Arm will discuss his theory of Troll Pirates and Sea Trolls. He will then start pestering you, asking if they have arrived yet. You will finally arive to be abandoned by My Arm.

Head south of Brimhaven to find My Arm, located just east of the General Store. After speaking with him, head sotuh into the village, and speak to Murcaily. You two with argue back and forth about My Arm and goutweed. He will eventually tell you that you need a harder Gout Tuber to survive in the mountains. If you have more than 60% favor in the village, he will give you a hardy gout tuber. If you do not, you will need to gain favor in the village by hacking away at the brush with a Machete if you were doing the Tai Bwo Wannai Minigame.

After you have recieved the tuber, you will see My Arm in a cut scene destroying whatever is in his path, eventually ending up with you have many more hardy gout tubers. He then tells you that you both need to return to the patch, but first he explains to you his situation with the bird in the mountains. He tells you that there was a big bird that kept coming out and you will need some armor, weaponry, and food. You will then be placed back on the ship, dealing with My Arm’s “Are we dere yet?” questions. When you arrive in Ardougne, head to the bank and equip yourself for a fight.

Head back to the Troll Stronghold, and to My Arm’s farming patch. Speak to him again and he will ask you to walk him through the steps of farming. Use a Rake with My Arm to clean the patch. Then, use the Hardy Gout Tubers with him. When he has taken the tubers, use your Seed Dibber with him. After he plants the tubers, you will witness him knock out a dwarf random event. After that, you will notice his plant has become diseased. Use some Plant Cure on him to cure the plant. Afterwards, he will inform you that the birds are watching them.

You will be confronted with a (level-76) Baby Roc. Kill it and My Arm will be grateful that you saved his plant. However, after you have killed the Baby Roc, its mother will come. The Giant Roc, (level-176) is not an easy task. It knocks you back and stuns you, as well as hurls boulders at you. Attempt to attack it head on with protect from missiles, eating as it knocks you back and engaging it again. After awhile, My Arm will help you defeat the Giant Roc. If it knocks you away from the patch and My Arm, it may be useful to run back over to My Arm, so he can assist you in attacking - he may not do that much damage but it can help.
Content Image

When you have killed the Giant Roc, use your Spade with My Arm so he will harvest the patch, gaining a farming level, as well as giving you some farming experience as well. After he eats the goutweed he just grew, he will tell you to head back to Burntmeat to inform him of the news, and maybe a reward. When you tell him the news, he will give you a “special” reward… loads of burnt meat. After you manage to drop all the burnt meat Burntmeat gave you, head back up and speak to My Arm. My Arm will tell you a secret about herbs. He also build you your own herb farming patch that he will make sure it never gets diseased.
