Runescape LEGENDS QUEST WALKTHROUGH - SECTION TWO

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

If you have some food left on you, and you feel that you’re ready to kill the first of the three demons you need to defeat in this quest, you don’t have to bank, otherwise, return to Shilo and get some food, maybe a few super potions etc.
Go back to the fire octagon, use your bowl with water in it on the fire wall, and use the Book of Binding on Ungadulu, he will summon a demon to kill you. If you have the holy water vials, now is the time to use them. The demon will drain your prayer quite a bit, so be very careful. After you’ve kill the demon, Ungadulu will give you some Yommi seeds, and he will also cast a spell on you to protect you from the fire wall.
Go back to the pond, investigate it, and you will discover that the pond has been drained. Disaster! Call for Gujuo again, and tell him about it. He will tell you that the underground source has been blocked. You have to go down and unblock it.
Gujuo will tell you that it’s a very scary place down there, and you will need to make a potion to make yourself fearless when going down. To do this, you need two herbs; Ardigal and Snake Weed.
When you have both the herbs, mix them together in your water filled vial and you will have the potion of courage. Go to the bank, and get out the 30 air/water/earth/fire runes, the cosmic rune, and the unpowered orb you need to cast a charge spell (Charge Water Orb level 56 magic is the lowest). Also, get a rope, armour and weapon, some lockpicks, a pickaxe, the potion you just made, golden bowl, of course your hatchet, machete and map, and then fill yourself up with food.
When you’re ready, go back to the rocks where you entered the dungeon with Ungadulu earlier, talk with him, and then go all the way in to the 7 ponds, and you should see a big gate. Use the charge orb spell on the gate, and you should be taken inside. There will be a winch, before you go down, drink your potion, and then use your rope on the winch to go down.
There are some barrels in the winch room, which contains enemies and random stuff. They can contain food and rope. Barrels can also reduce your attack.
Now make your way to the bottom of the massive hill, the easiest way is to fail one of the agility obstacles, but you will lose a lot of health if you fail. Now you should see three different level monsters, San Tojalon (level 95), Irvig Senay (level 100) and Ranalph Devere (level 106). Kill one of each, and you should have three crystal parts. Head north and you should find a furnace, use your crystal parts on this. If you haven’t already seen it, the dungeon you are in looks like a dragons head, you need to go where the eye would be, and then find the moosy rock around there with a search option.
Search the rock, and use your crystal on it. The crystal should now be glowing. Head towards the place where Ranalph is, and use your crystal on the heart shaped symbol on the wall next to the cave entrance there. Go through the cave, and you will be in a room with lessers, if you like, you can stay around a kill a few, when you’re done, run further in the cave, and you should come to a place with the water source, and a boulder blocking this.
There are two ways to do the next part.
One: The shorter, harder way: Try to push it, and you will be faced with a spirit. Talk with the spirit, and it will ask you for help with killing Vyveldy. He will give you a black dagger for this, so go back to the wizard’s hat on top of the hill where you entered. Try taking the hat, and Vyveldy will appear. Stab him with the dagger, and it will start to glow. Go back to the boulder, drink a couple of potions of if you brought this, and push it again. The spirit will face you, and then send a demon to attack you! Kill it, push the boulder again (this time you won’t be attacked), and use your bowl on the water.
Two: The longer, easier way: (If you aren’t so strong, this will be the best way to do it, it will make it easier later on as well.)
Try to push it, and you will be faced with a spirit. Talk with the spirit, and it will ask you for help with killing Vyveldy. He will give you a black dagger for this, but instead of killing Vyveldy, go back and talk with Ungadulu, who will give you the Holy Force spell, which will weaken the demon a lot. You need a new orb spell, and another rope to get down again, but it will also give you a good chance to get some more food. Go back to the boulder and push it, then use the Holy Force spell on the spirit, which will make it turn into a demon, kill it, push the boulder again (this time you won’t be attacked), and use your bowl on the water.
When you have your water in the bowl you can head back to the bank and get out the Yommi seeds you got earlier from Ungadulu, also get a hatchet (better than mithril), and use the water on the seeds, which should make them germinate. Call for Gujuo and tell him the good news. Now find a place with some Fertile Soil on the ground, and plant your Yommi seeds there. A tree will grow, when it becomes young you need to use some more holy water on it, and then chop it with your hatchet (need a hatchet that’s better than Mithril). First cut of the branches, and then cut it again to make it into a Totem pole.
Find a Dark Totem Pole somewhere in the area, and use your own totem pole on it. Before you do so, make sure you’re ready for a last battle. Drink potions and have food ready. If you choose to take the easy way before, you will only have to fight the demon, but if you choose the hard way, you will have to kill San Tojalon, Irvig Senay and Ranalph Devere again. When you’ve killed the demon for the last time, you just need to talk with Gujuo once again, and then head back to Radimus.

Runescape HAUNTED MINE QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Speak with Zealot in the Mines in Morytania, located south-west of Mort’ton.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward: 22.000 strength exp. and the crystal to make a Salve Amulet (just use a string of wool on the crystal), which increases your attack and strength with 15% when fighting the undead. It also gives you +3 defence to all.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 15 Agility, 35 Crafting and ability to defeat a level 95 enemy. Protect from Missiles (level 40 prayer) recommended.聽
Required Items: Chisel and Food. Prayer and super energy potion(s) recommended. As always when fighting high level monsters, dragon amulet, ring of duelling or other means of teleportation is a good idea.
Monsters: Treus Dayth (level 95).
NPC: Zealot (Quest start in the Mines in Morytania, located south-west of Mort’ton).

HAUNTED MINE QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Zealot: After speaking with Zealot (telling him that you are a follower of Saradomin), pickpocket him to get the key he didn’t want to give you when speaking to him. Go south and you should come to a mining cart, climb over it and follow the road and you’ll come to the entrance of the mine (Cart tunnel).
The crazy mining cart: Once inside, work your way west until you see another cart tunnel, go out, head south and go in the other tunnel. You should now see a ladder a little east of you. Go down and head east, you should see another ladder here, go down that, and look at your mini-map. You should see a yellow dot, this is a mine cart moving around, be careful and don’t get hit by it as it’ll do damage to you. It’s a good idea to have run on now, there’s some ’safe spots’ where you can stand while the cart moves on the track, stand here until the cart is far enough away for you to make it to the next safe spot. At the end of the track you’ll find a ladder, go down.
The levers: As you make your way north through the cave, pick a glowing fungus. Go north-west and you should come to a mine cart with a ’search’ option. Use your fungus on this. Now go a little north-east and you should find some levers. Examine them all, and Pull A, B, D and E, and then head north-west, past the points settings board, and you should find the levers F-K, here you pull I and J. If you fail, make sure you pick a new fungus and place it in the cart (You fail when your cart sinks).
Back up and down again: Now head all the way back to the first level of the cave, and go down the ladder right before the place where you went out of the cave. Go north-east and down the ladder there. Go west, and down the ladder there, and you should see the mine cart from before. Search it to find the fungus, and then go back up the ladder. Head east, and make your way to the ladder going down, watch out though, there’s another cart moving around there. When you’re down there, take the eastern road, and you should end up at a water valve. Make sure you have 80%+ energy left, and then use the Zealot’s Key on the valve, after this, run into the lift and go down.
Treus Dayth: You should now be plunged in a chamber filled with water. Go east and down the stairs and prepare for the final fight. In the middle of the room there’s a crate with an ‘innocent looking key’ on it. Try to take this and you’ll be attacked. Put protection from missiles on to protect you from the flying axes, and hunt Treus Dayth down. Go through the east door, up the stairs, west until you get to another set of stairs, go down. There’s a large door on the south side, go in, and head south-east until you find some crystal outcrop. Use your chisel to cut some and you’ve completed the quest.

Runescape DRUIDIC RITUAL QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Stone-circle north of Taverly, speak to Kaqemeex.
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: 250 herblore experience points (enough for level 3, where the first potion is).
Quest points gained: 4.
Required Items: Raw meats of chicken, rat, cow and bear.
DRUIDIC RITUAL QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Kaqemeex: Ask him for a quest and he’ll tell you about the stone circle south of Varrock. He will tell you that the dark wizards once, many years ago, cast a spell on the circle and took it from the druids. He will ask you for help getting it back. Go into Taverly and speak with Sanfew (upstairs in the herblore store).
Sanfew: Sanfew will tell you that he needs four different meats for the potion. If you have the four meats, go a little south of Taverly, down the ladder and in to the first room to the east. There will be the Cauldron of Thunder. Use the four meats on it. They will now all have a blue-ish color.
Sanfew: Go back to Sanfew and speak with him. Go back to Kaqemeex and he’ll reward you. He will also tell you a lot about making potions and the skill herblore. This completes the quest.

Lost City Quest

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Skill Requirements: 31 Crafting & 36 Woodcutting and able to defeat a level 101 without armor or weapons.
Item Requirements: Knife, Hatchet, Food
Reward: 3 Quest Points, access to the Lost City.
Start Point: West of Lumbridge there is a gathering of about 4 NPC’s. A warrior, a mage, etc. So just walk sort of south-west from Lumbridge and you shoul see the ‘Quest-Starts-Here’ symbol.

Talk with the NPC’s until they tell you that they are searching for Zanaris and that a leperchaun can give you more information. Have your hatchet ready for this part. Look around for a tree that says ‘Chop Tree’, not ‘Chop Down Tree’.

When you attempt to chop it, Shamus the leprechaun will pop out. Question him, and he reveals that you need to enter the shed in the Lumbridge Swamp while wielding a Dramenwood Staff, cut from a Dramen Tree. He explains that Dramen trees are found on Entrana.

Of course, this is a problem. Entrana is a monk island with no weapons or armor allowed. To get around this, you can do one of the following:

-Fight barehanded with potions.
-Take wood and bowstring with you, and fletch yourself a bow.
-Take runes to throw magery.

Whatever you choose depends on your forte. I’d only recommend the first if you are extremely strong. Either way, you want to take food.

Once your there, travel east across the bridge. Then you should see a building with a monk in it. Go down the ladder.

Now that you went down the ladder, your prayer will be lowered, so that’s no longer an option. Now you will near a few zombies. Kill them until you get a bronze hatchet, so you’re able to cut the dramen tree.

Once you acquire the hatchet, run past the greaters into the room with a tree. Try to chop it and the tree spirit will pop out. Kill it with super potion sets, ranging, or maging. Or, be a man and fight it with your fists of fury. Either way. Once you kill the spirit, chop the tree to gather some dramen branches, 2 or 3 is fine.

After you kill it, axe off a few dramen branches and teleport out. Or you can waltz through the magic door and end up in lvl 32 wilderness. Your choice.

Use a knife with the branches so you have staffs. Now you may travel into the Lumbridge Swamp until you reach the tiny shack. Wield your dramen staff, and open the door. You will be instantly teleported into The Lost City of Zanaris.
