As Runescape is the No.1 MMORPG game on the web, there are also lots of individuals who wishes to jump on the bandwagon.

So, you may see millions of site selling gold, selling Runescape guides, Runescape gold making guides and forums too.

It’s rather prevalent to get confused on the way to decide on the most effective ultimate Runescape gold guide.

Here’s a list of checklists for you to follow.

Very best Runescape Gold Guide Rule 1

You are able to talk to the seller! As the internet is dominating our every day life, we seem to be shopping on line more and additional often. But, the reality that you need to communicate prior to purchasing something from a person never goes away.

So, ensure you may ask questions, talk to, or even discuss with the seller if you’re interested to purchase the guide. For positive, please email the seller politely and nicely.

I had received so lots of emails daily which are rude, and ill-mannered. Guess what happens to those emails? It goes proper into my rubbish bin.

1 last guidance on purchasing your Runescape gold making guide, is that you have far more confidence, and trust should you get to talk to the owner of the website.

Ultimate Runescape Gold Guide Rule Two

Please read the terms and conditions carefully! You got to make sure what are you purchasing into, and what are you acquiring?

Look for any greatest Runescape gold guide refund guaranteed. Not only that, dig deeper what’s their refund policy? I remember I saw 1 internet site that says they’ve refund guaranteed, but the modest prints says, you got to refund within 48 hours.

On the other internet site, it says, 90 days cash back guaranteed. Who do you believe I will get from? It’s a no-brainer that I’m going to buy from the 90 days 1.

This proves to me that their Runescape gold making guide genuinely works that the seller is willing to give a 90 days guaranteed on that. Not all web page does that, so look out for it.

Runescape Gold Making Guide Rule 3

You would like to see plenty of customers already purchasing the ultimate Runescape gold guide, and I do mean a lot.

Do you think 5 can be a lot, or 20 is really a lot, or 50 is a lot? Wait till you see 1 that has over 200 testimonials on their internet site.

What does this show? Runescape players are happily purchasing their best Runescape gold guide. Not just that, you would like to have the ability to see their photos, videos, 1st name, country and state. Don’t blink! You may even see your friends on it!

Needless to say, success stories can be fake and written by the owner themselves. But to cheat 10 or 20 testimonials is effortless, 200 is way too significantly, and all with photos. You’ve to trust that all are real people today.

So, in summary, those are my top 3 rules on the best way to pick your finest ultimate Runescape gold guide. Use them, and do your own study, I’m positive you will be able to purchase your very best ultimate Runescape guide extremely soon!

Runescape Smithing Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Runescape Quests

There are two main parts to smithing in RuneScape: making the metal bars, and smithing them into useful items. Before you can start smithing your weapons and armor, you should first either mine the ores you need, or buy them from other players. Buying the ores or bars from other players may be faster than mining them, but it can be quite expensive.

In order to make a metal bar, you need to have the correct amount of ores, and many of the metals require another type of ore to make a bar. For a complete list, you can refer to the Smelting Chart. Each item you make will need a different number of bars to smith it, and that info can be found in the Smithing Chart for the specific metal.

Dwarven Stouts

These helpful drinks can be bought in the Rising Sun bar in Falador for 3gp per drink. They will raise your Smithing and Mining levels by 1 point for a limited amount of time, allowing you to smith objects a level higher than your actual level.

Mature Stouts & Beer

As a reward from the Forgettable Tale (of a Drunken Dwarf) Quest you will get 2 Mature Dwarven Stouts which will increase your Mining and Smithing levels by 2, not just the ordinary 1 level. When Brewing Beer there is a chance that it will become Mature and give extra bonuses. To make it more likely that it becomes Mature you can add “The Stuff” which is something you can buy as a reward from Trouble Brewing.

——————————————————————————–

Smelting Ores

Now that you’ve got all of your ores together, you should smelt them into bars so that you can make weapons and armor out of them. Just bring the ores to a Furnace, and choose the ‘Smelt’ option. You’ll be able to choose which kind of bar to make, as well as the number of bars to smelt. By right-clicking the bar, you can make 1, 5, 10 or ‘x’ bars. You can also use an ore with the furnace to smelt 1 bar at a time.

Smelting with Magic

Another way to smelt all of your metal bars is to cast the ‘Superheat Item’ spell on the ores. This of course requires 4 Fire Runes and 1 Nature Rune, but it can be much faster than walking to a furnace to smelt your bars of metal. If you smelt Iron ore with Magic, all ores will be smelted.

Smelting Chart
Picture Metal Bar Smithing Level Smithing Experience Ore # of 2nd Item
Bronze 1 6 Copper 1 Tin
Lunar 1 - Lunar -
Blurite 8 8 Bluerite -
Iron 15 12.5 Iron 50%
Silver 20 13.7 Silver -
Elemental 20 7.5 Elemental 4 Coal
Steel 30 17.5 Iron 2 Coal
Gold 40 22.5 (56.2) Gold -
Mithril 50 30 Mithril 4 Coal
Adamantite 70 37.5 Adamantite 6 Coal
Rune 85 50 Rune 8 Coal

Smelting Notes

The 50% for smelting Iron ore means that you will only get about half of the ores that you try to smelt. The other ores are wasted and just disappear into the furnace if they aren’t good enough.
By wearing a Ring of Forging, you’ll have a 100% chance to smelt Iron into bars, and each ring has 140 uses.
Smithing Gauntlets - Members have a chance to have their Steel Gauntlets enchanted into GoldSmith Gauntlets. When you smelt a Gold Bar while wearing these, you’ll earn 56.2xp per bar.
Elemental Bars require you to have completed the Elemental Workshop Quest.
Blurite Bars require you to have finished the Knight’s Sword Quest.
Furnaces

You’ll find a number of Furnaces throughout RuneScape:

Free-Play furnaces can be found in Al Kharid, Lumbridge, Falador, and in the Wilderness north of Edgeville.
Member’s furnaces can be found in Ardougne, Shilo Village, Entrana, Port Phasmatys, Rellekka and Tyras’ Camp.

——————————————————————————–

Smithing Items

With your metal bars in hand, it’s time to make some armor, right? Not quite. You first need a Hammer to work the metal with, and you can buy one from any local General Store. Now you can begin smithing items by finding an Anvil and using a metal bar with it. This will bring up a graphical menu with all of the different weapons, armor, and other items you can make. When the menu comes up, pay attention to the colors of the names and number of bars:

White Name - You’re a high enough level to smith the item.
Blacked-Out Name - You need a higher smithing level to smith the item.
# of Bars in Green - You have enough bars to make the item.
# of Bars in Red - You need more bars in order to smith the item.

Now you can choose the item you wish to smith, and if you have enough bars and a high enough level, you will smith it. You can right click on an object in the smithing item and select to make multiple items at once. This is much faster than just making one item at a time.

Anvils

There are many Anvils that can be found throughout RuneScape. Freeplayers can find Anvils in Varrock, the Dwarven Mines, Doric’s Anvil building, and south of Port Sarim. Members can find them in Yanille, West Ardougne, Port Khazard, Seer’s Village, north of Tai Bwo Wannai and Port Phasmatys.

Item-Specific Info

Some items can only be smithed after completing a quest, and others may need to be smithed in a specific way. Here is some useful info to help you out.

Bronze Wire

Currently Bronze Wire is used only in the Creature of Fenkenstrain and Shilo Village Quests.

Bronze-Rune Nails

These are smithed 15 at a time, and are used in certain quests including Dragon Slayer, Horror From the Deep, In Search of the Myreque and Zogre Flesh Eaters. They are also used in the Construction skill for building furniture.

Dart Tips

Smithed 10 at a time, although you must first complete the Tourist Trap Quest before having the ability to make them. You can add feathers to make them into a throwing weapon.

Claws

These can be smithed after completing the Death Plateau Quest.

Cannonballs

After smelting a bar of Steel, use the Bar with a Furnace while carrying a Cannonball Mould with you. They are made in sets of 4, using a single Steel bar each time. You can only make these after completing the Dwarf Cannon Quest.

Runescape Strength Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Runescape Guide

What Does Strength Do?

Strength is a very valuable skill used in Melee combat. The higher your Strength, the higher you will hit during combat. It’s for this reason that most PKers have a very high Strength compared to their other stats. There are also some pieces of equipment that require you to have a certain amount of Strength to wield.

Training Strength

By clicking on the Attack Styles icon (the one with the crossing swords), you’ll be able to choose between the different kinds of attacks you can use with your currently equipped weapon. To train your Strength, you’ll want to choose the “Aggressive” style from the menu.

Each time you inflict one damage point on your opponent, you’ll earn 4 Strength experience. You can also use the “Controlled” method of some weapons to train all of your melee skills (attack, defense and strength) and earn 1.3 experience to each.

In the picture below, the box is accessible by clicking the Equipment icon (right of the inventory icon), which allows you to equip and unequip items. The “Show Equipment Stats” will pop-up the box you see is in the picture. It will contain what you’re wearing, an enlarged picture of yourself, and your stats. Strength bonus is located under “Other bonuses”. The higher that number is, the more damage you will deal in combat.

Boosting Your Strength

There are a number of ways to temporarily boost your Strength.

Potions - There are a few potions in RuneScape that will give you a generous strength boost
Drinks - Several alcoholic beverages will increase your strength level for a short time.
Prayers - 3 Prayers exist that will allow you to inflict extra damage in battle.
Special Attacks - Some special attacks will increase your strength greatly when used.
All of these methods will be described later on in this guide.

Runescape Runecrafting Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Runescape Guide

Runecrafting is an interesting and fun skill to practice in RuneScape, as there are many different kinds of Runes to make, and several parts to making them using this skill. Often times, you will not be standing in the same spot for a long time, so the skill moves along quickly and you can get a great deal of Runes crafted in a short time.

Before you can start crafting your own Runes, you need to mine some Rune Essence from the Essence Mine. Of course, not just anyone can find this mine, and only several characters in RuneScape can teleport you to it:

Aubury - Located in the Varrock Magic Shop.
Wizard Sedridor - Located in the Basement of the Wizard Tower.
Wizard Distentor - Found in the Yanille Magic Guild.
Wizard Cromperty - Located just northeast of the Ardougne Market.
Brimstail Gnome - Found in a cave in the southwest corner of the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
Once you’re in the mine, just mine some Essence from any Rune Essence rock. You will either get Pure Essence or Normal Essence. These different Essence will be explained later on. After using the nearby portal you will be teleported to the character you spoke before.

You will also need a Talisman, depending on the type of Rune you wish to make. You need to use the correct Talisman with the ruins around RuneScape to be teleported to an Altar to craft your Runes. Check the Talisman and Altar Charts below for more info.

Runecrafting Pouches

After completing the Zamorak Mage’s Runecrafting task, Members will have the ability to obtain Pouches for carrying Rune Essence. There are 4 different sized pouches, each able to hold a certain amount of Rune Essence, but you can only carry 1 of each pouch at a time. The different sized pouches are sometimes found from the loot of the Abyssal Creatures in the Abyss, including Abyssal Leeches (L 41), Guardians (L 59)and Walkers (L 81).

Pouches
Picture Pouch Runecrafting Level # of Holdable Essence
Small 1 3
Medium 25 6
Large 50 9
Giant 75 12

Kinds of Rune Essence

As said before, there are two types of Rune Essence in RuneScape: Regular Essence, and Pure Essence.

Regular Rune Essence can be used to Runecraft all of the FreePlay Runes, including Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Mind and Body. Member Runes such as Nature or Law Runes can’t be crafted using this kind of essence.

You will always mine Regular Essence if you are a FreePlayer, or if you’re a member with less than level 30 Mining.

Pure Rune Essence is used to craft all types of Runes, and can only be mined by Members who have level 30 Mining or better.

——————————————————————————–

Talismans

Once you have some Rune Essence, you’re going to need a Talisman so that you can enter the Altar of the Rune you wish to make. Many of them are dropped by enemies around RuneScape, and after you have the one you need, bring it to the ruins of that specific Rune (If you have an Air Talisman, bring it to the ruins of the Air Altar) and use it with the “Mysterious Ruins” to be teleported to the actual Altar.

Talisman Chart

Law Reward from Troll Stronghold Quest
Death Reward from Mourning’s End Part 2 Quest
Elemental Abyssal Leeches, Guardians and Walkers from the Abyss.

Tiaras

A Runecrafting Tiara is mostly the same as a Talisman, except for the fact that you can wear it on your head rather than carry it in your backpack. This way, you can save 1 extra space per trip for Rune Essence, which is very helpful for high level Runes. Check out the Crafting guide for info about making Tiaras.

Once you’ve crafted a regular Tiara, it’s time to enchant it. Bring the Tiara to the Runecrafting Altar of your choice, along with the same kind of Talisman. Use the Tiara on the Altar to bind the Talisman and Tiara together to make an enchanted Tiara. This will cause you to lose your Talisman, but it’s very useful in making higher level Runes since you don’t need to use it with the altar to access it (thus saving a space in your inventory).

Runecrafting Altars

Now that you have both your Rune Essence and a Talisman for the kind of Rune you want to make, you need to find the Altar to which the Talisman belongs to. You can choose the “Locate Altar” option for the Talisman itself and be pointed in the correct direction, or follow the directions and look at the maps in the below chart.

Anyhow, just use your Talisman with the “Mysterious Ruins” to be brought to the Altar. To make the Runes, just select the “Rune-Craft Altar” option from the Altar itself to craft all of the Essence in your backpack into Runes.

Tip: You can mouse-over any of the “mini-maps” below to see an enlarged picture of the altar’s location!

Crafting Runes

When you first start Runecrafting, you will only be able to make 1 of each rune per Essence. Upon reaching a certain Runecrafting level, you’ll have the ability to make multiple Runes from a single Essence, since you’ll have more control and skill over crafting them. You will always receive the same amount of experience from crafting each kind of Rune, regardless of the number you make.

Combination Runes

Combination Runes are a newer addition to Runecrafting for Members, and they are very useful to Wilderness Player-Killing. The basic idea is that you can combine 2 Elemental Runes together to make a single Rune. This newly-formed Rune counts as 2 different elements, such as both Water and Air. Only Elemental Runes such as Air, Water, Earth and Fire can be combined. You can create the following Runes:

Mist - Air & Water
Dust - Air & Earth
Mud - Water & Earth
Smoke - Air & Fire
Steam - Water & Fire
Lava - Earth & Fire
Combining Runes

In order to combine Runes, you’ll need a few things including 1 of each Talisman, 1 type of Rune, and Rune Essence. So, if you wanted to make Mist Runes, bring an Air and a Water Talisman, either Air or Water Runes (whichever you wish to use), and Rune Essence. Depending on which Runes you choose to bring along, go to the other Temple (if you’re making Mist Runes and bringing Air Runes, go to the Water Temple).

Enter the temple using the correct Talisman as usual, and then use the other Talisman on the Altar to combine the Runes.

Warning: The Talisman that is the same as the Runes you carry will be used up when combining them! Plan on losing 1 Talisman each time you combine Runes, so it would be wise to bring Runes who’s Talismans you have more of.

Necklace of Binding

The Necklace of Binding will give you a 100% success rate while combining Runes while worn. It can be obtained by enchanting an Emerald Necklace using the Enchant Level 2 Jewelry spell.

Runescape Ranging Guide

Posted by: amber  //  Category: Minigame Guides, Runescape Guide

Rangers can be quite powerful as they become stronger and more experienced at the art of Ranging, but you need to know several things before starting out.

Basic Equipment

The weapon of choice for many Rangers is the Bow, which uses arrows to hit your enemy. There are 2 kinds of bows: Shortbows and Longbows. Shortbows are known to fire arrows more quickly than Longbows, but they’re mainly used for close combat. You can also use a Crossbow and bolts, but generally they are less effective as you become a more experienced Ranger, since they only add 6 to Ranged Attack.

The basic Ranging equipment can be bought from Lowe’s Archery Store in Varrock, located just northeast of the General Store, and also from a new Arrow Merchant in Rimmington which is a great place to buy supplies due to the fact that most people disregard it, and the stocks are always high.

There’s also a Member’s shop in Catherby that sells more advanced equipment, the Grand Tree Shop that sells bows and arrows, and of course the Ranging Guild. The Fletching skill can be used to make bows and arrows.

Combat Info

Now that you have your Ranging equipment, equip the bow and arrows (or crossbow and bolts) by clicking on them in your Backpack. To attack an enemy, just click on the “Attack” option to begin firing arrows or bolts. The most effective way to attack an enemy would be to stand behind an obstacle such as a gate or table, since they will be unable to attack you. Although, some of your foes may have the ability to attack you with their own Ranging weapons.

You may also notice that some of your arrows “disappear” after hitting an enemy. This is simply due to the fact that some of your arrows will be damaged on impact or the enemy, and your character will not even try to salvage them.

When you equip a Bow, you have the choice of using 1 of several Fighting Styles; each of which give different amounts of experience, although each style gives about 1.3xp to Hitpoints:

Accurate - This style of Ranging is slightly slower, but more accurate than the ‘Rapid’ style will give 4xp to your Ranged level.
Rapid - This Ranging Style sacrifices accuracy, but fires about 1 second faster than the ‘Accurate’ style. It gives 4xp to your Ranged level.
Longrange - This style fires arrows at about the same speed as the ‘Accurate’ style, but it gives 2xp each to both Ranged and Defense.
Helpful Drinks

If you need a small boost to your Ranged level, have a drink of a Ranged Potion. it will increase your Ranged level by 15% for a short amount of time, and it can be made with your Herblore level if you’re a Member.

Bows & Arrows

Bows

Bows are the most widely used Ranging weapons, using arrows as their ammo. There are various Bows that you can use, although Free-Players can use up to Maple Bows. The Ogre bow is obtained from the Big Chompy Bird Hunting Quest. Crystal Bows are only available after completing the Roving Elves Quest. Check below for more info about it.

Crystal Bow

After completing the Roving Elves Quest, Members have the opportunity to buy a Crystal Bow for 900,000gp. You must have at least level 70 Ranging to use the bow. Unlike other bows, the Crystal Bow uses no ammo, and instead fires a magical shot. When you first start using it, it will have 2,500 uses, and each time you fire it, the remaining shots will decrease (As well as the attack bonus). If you right-click on the bow, you’ll see a rating out of 10, depending on how many shots you have left.

Arrows can be made from different metals, stronger metals being able to inflict more damage and be more difficultly damaged. Free-Players can use up to Adamantite Arrows. Members can also poison arrows by using a Weapon Poison Potion with them to poison up to 5. Better arrows will require you to use a certain bow or higher in order to Range with them.

Crossbows & Bolts

Crossbows

There are quite a few different types of Crossbows in RuneScape, which are another type of Ranging weapon that fire Bolts rather than Arrows, and are slower than Bows. It’s for this reason that they are not as commonly used by Rangers.

Notes:

Blurite Crossbows are untradeable, and can only be smithed after completing the Knight’s Sword Quest.
Bolts

There are nearly as many types of Bolts as there are Crossbows. These are the main ammo for Crossbows, and can be made with your Fletching and Smithing skills. Regular bolts may be poisoned with Weapon Poison. Most of them can also be “modified” with special tips to pack more of a punch. these tips include:

Opal - Use a chisel on an Uncut Opal, Mined from the Shilo Village rocks.
Pearl - Use a chisel on a Pearl, Fished with a Big Net.
Barbed - Traded for tickets at the Ticket Merchant in the Ranging Guild.
Gem - Use a Chisel with a gem to cut it, and then use your chisel on it again to make bolt Tips.
Here is a chart of the different kinds of bolts you can make, as well as the Bolt Tips you can add to them:

Enchanted Bolts

Bolts with special tips (Gems, Pearl, or Opal) may be enchanted with your Magic skill to have all sorts of interesting (and helpful) effects on your enemies. Simply place any bolts you wish to have enchanted in your backpack, and then click on the level 4 “Enchant Bolt” spell in your spellbook, to see a menu of possible enchantments. then just select one to enchant your bolts.

4 Opal 1 Cosmic, 2 Air Chance of a lightning bolt hitting your enemy causing damage.
7 Sapphire 1 Cosmic, 1 Water, 1 Mind Chance of stealing your enemies Prayer Points.
14 Jade 1 Cosmic, 2 Earth Chance of throwing your opponent to the ground.
24 Pearl 1 Cosmic, 2 Water Chance of hitting your enemy with a wave of water (extra effective against fire-based equipment).
27 Emerald 1 Cosmic, 3 Air, 1 Nature Chance of poisoning your enemy.
29 Red Topaz 1 Cosmic, 2 Fire Chance of decreasing your enemies Magic level.
49 Ruby 1 Cosmic, 5 Fire, 1 Blood Chance of losing 10% of your hits to remove 20% of your enemy’s hits.
57 Diamond 1 Cosmic, 10 Earth, 2 Law Chance of decreasing your enemy’s Ranged Defense.
68 Dragonstone 1 Cosmic, 15 Earth, 1 Soul Chance of hitting your opponent with “DragonBreath” (Antifire Shield negates this).
87 Onyx 1 Cosmic, 20 Fire, 1 Death Chance of leeching your opponent’s hits.

Mithril Grapples

You’ve probably seen the “secret spy” movies in which a thief makes a cunning entrance with a grappling hook. Well, now you can use your own Mithril Grapple to scale walls and pass over certain Agility obstacles.

To accomplish this, simply Smith a Mithril Grapple and some mithril Bolts and attach them. Use a coil of Rope with the Grappling Hook, and with a Crossbow equipped, use the Grapple with the shortcut to scale it. Be sure to have a spare though, as these devices can sometimes break!

Throwing Weapons

Darts & Throwing Knives

Throwing Darts and Knives are Members-Only Ranging weapons that pack a punch and can be quickly thrown at your enemy. You can make Darts once you complete the Tourist Trap Quest by Smithing a Dart Tip, and then adding Feathers to them. Throwing Knives can be Smithed as well.

Dwarven Multi-Cannon

This extremely powerful Ranging Cannon can be bought for a nominal fee of 750,000gp, after you complete the Dwarf Cannon Quest. The cannon can hold up to 30 Cannonballs, Smithed from a Steel Bar (1 Bar makes 4 Cannonballs), and it is made up of a base, stand, furnace, and barrel. To use it, you must set up all four pieces on the floor, and load it with Cannonballs. After that, it will continue to rotate, hitting any nearby enemies.

Although the Dwarven Multicannon is a very cool weapon, there are a few things to note. First, you can’t use it against extremely tough enemies such as the Kalphite Queen, King Black Dragon, Abyssal Demon or any of the Metal Dragons, as they will destroy it. Second, using it for extended periods of time will cause your cannon to degrade (you’ll see a message alerting you of this). If this happens, simply pick it up and set it back down again.

However, if the cannon degrades completely, it will disappear and leave only Cannonballs behind. When that happens, you must head back to Nulodion and get a replacement cannon.

Runescape Money making guide 2010

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

There are in fact a lot of ways to make money on Runescape as a F2P account, but many of them are time-consuming to be able to start doing, below I’ve listed skills and tactics to be able to make runescape money.

Combat

Fighting high level enemies means you can get high value drop, my personal favourite is the cockroach soldier in the stronghold of security, but I recommend being around level 70 with food. Cockroach soldiers drop quite a few rune items which are worth a fair amount, e.g. Rune scimitars which sell for around 35k on the Grand Exchange.

Other good enemies to kill are Lesser Demons (Found on Karamja), which occasionally drop Rune med helms which give around 10k with high alchemy,  Ankou (Found in stronghold of security) and Greater Demons (Found in deep wilderness). Another weaker alternative is to kill Hill Giants, which always drops big bones which can be collected and sold for quite a lot of money.

I would highly recommend Cockroach Soldiers though but you need to be a high level to kill them.

Mining

This is a very profitable skill, especially when you reach coal or better yet, level 60 mining which allows you entry to the mining guild which also has 5 mithril ore deposits which can also be mined for profit. This becomes even more profitable after reaching adamantite ore and it sky-rockets once you reach runite ore which sells for around 12k each. Sadly the only place to mine runite ore is deep into the wilderness and there is only one rock, so many miners world hop because it takes a long time to respawn.

Smithing

This is profitable at most levels as long as you’ve mined the ores yourself, otherwise at low levels isn’t very profitable. At higher levels it becomes much more profitable and again, reaching rune will definitely help you as many items are still in heavy demand.

A good tactic I’ve been using lately to make upwards of 200k an hour is to buy nature runes, mithril and coal ores on the Grand Exchange and with a fire staff, use superheat item (requires magic level 43) and make mithril bars, this provides an easy profit whilst also gaining you both smithing and magic experience.

Fishing

I personally find it very hard to make a profit whilst fishing but it is easily achievable by selling lobsters (cooked or raw) and swordfish (again cooked or raw), this is rather time consuming but is best done on Karamja. Personally I sell them raw as it saves time and reduces the risk of burning a fish and therefore not being able

to sell it.

Cooking

A good method for this is to get level 55 cooking and buying plain pizzas and anchovies off the grand exchange and then using them to make anchovy pizzas which sell to make an easy profit on the grand exchange. This is a fast method to make money without having to do much at all.

If you need to get your cooking level up, a good method is to buy raw trout in bulk from the grand exchange, and then cook them to get cooking experience, when you sell them back you make a very small loss, around 1-2 gold for each trout but this money is made back easily by making anchovy pizzas.

Magic

(Look at smelting for tips on how to use superheat item for profit.)

Another method is to use telekinetic grab (telegrab) (which requires magic level 33) on the Wine of Zamorak found north of Falador, the best way to do this is with a staff of air and 28 law runes, when you have 27 wines, drop one and use telegrab then you should have no law runes and should be able to pick up the one you dropped on the floor.

To level magic quickly, get rune essence (either buy it or mine it) and login to world 16 and go to the air altar and find someone to assist you who can do 6x air runes (the higher the better), buy a fire staff and collect mind runes from Lumbridge castle and finally auto-cast fire strike on the lesser demon in the Mage Tower for easy experience.

Runecrafting

This only becomes profitable after level 44 when you can get 5x air runes, buy (or mine) rune essence and take it to the Grand Exchange, then just make continuous runs from Varrock West Bank to the air altar and get a lot of air runes and sell them back on the Grand Exchange.

If you don’t want to spend so long on getting a high runecrafting, then be a runner instead, go on to world 16 and go to the air altar and find someone to assist you who can do 6x air runes (the higher the better) and simply sell the air runes.

Woodcutting

Train until you can cut down yew logs, this takes a long time but can yield high profits, so stick with it as it is usually worth it – that’s all there is to woodcutting really.

Other Tips

When buying and selling, make sure you log how much you buy and for what prices. It’s very easy to make a loss when you’re not watching prices properly and it can be very hard to make back the money you lose.

Always look for a bargain, if someone offers you a good trade, take it and then sell the item for its normal price, it’s easy to tell if you are getting a good deal by looking at the wealth meter during trades or by looking at an items grand exchange price.

Runescape ENAKHRA’S LAMENT QUEST STRATEGY GUIDE

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Lazim, in the desert directly south of the Bandit Camp.
Quest difficulty level: Easy.
Reward: 5000 to 7000 crafting, magic, mining and firemaking experience, Akthanakos’s Camulet.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 50 Crafting, Level 45 Firemaking, Level 43 Prayer and Level 39 Magic.
Required Items: Chisel, Pickaxe, Lantern (Preferably Bullseye Lantern), Coal, Candle, Tinderbox, Willow log, Oak log, Maple log, Normal log, Chaos runes, Fire Runes, Air runes, Earth runes (50 of each rune should do), Soft clay and Cake.
Monsters: Skeleton with no level.
NPC: Lazim, Pentyn, Akthanakos and Enakhra.

ENAKHRA’S LAMENT QUEST WALKTHROUGH
First of all you need to make sure that you have a few prayer points. Take a magic carpet ride or walk out to the Bedabin Camp. Go south around the ridge until you find the quest start point and a guy named Lazim. Talk to him and accept to help him. He tells you how he was once a sculptor, that he wants you to craft a statue for him out in the desert and also quarry the minerals needed for the task. Go southwest from Lazim and mine sandstones worth of 32kg to him. If you forgot your pickaxe, you can just pick one from the stone near you. He will give you back a 32kg lump or rock. Use your chisel on it and put it on the ground next to Lazim. He will want a body for the statue. Just take him 20kg of the stone and he will give you back a 20kg lump of rock. Use your chisel on it to make a body. Use the body on the statue. Talk to Lazim and he says the statue is not complete yet. Use your chisel on the statue stand, and you will carve it a little. He will ask you to make a head. Choose a head you want to use from the list and mine some granite. Use your chisel on a lump of granite to build a head. Talk to Lazim and he will say if the head is right or wrong. Before doing the next part you should get a 5kg lump of granite with you. Put the head on the statue and the statue will fall through the ground. You and Lazim will also fall into the ground into a temple below. Talk to Lazim and he tells you the situation at hand. He will ask you to help you a little more by getting through the temple. Use your chisel on the fallen statue to take off its limbs. Talk to Lazim and ask him for the head of the statue. Take the M sigil. Go down the south passage. Open the door and you will enter a cut-scene. Continue on through the door heading into the next room. Go to the pedestal and grab the R sigil. From this room take the western passage and continue on to the door. You will see another cut-scene. Continue through the door and into the next room. Go to the pedestal and grab the K sigil. Take the eastern route to the central room, use your M sigil on the door to open it and go up the ladder. There is a pedestal in the room you are in. Use your soft clay on the pedestal to make a mould and then use the chisel on the remaining piece of medium sized granite to make a replica of the mould. Place this granite camel head into the pedestal to be greeted by another cut scene. Go to the braziers to the east room, making sure your lantern is lit and examine each of the braziers. Place the appropriate item: log, candle or coal into each one of the braziers. Head to the northeast room and you will find a clogged furnace with smoke bellowing out of it. Use an offensive wind spell on the furnace: wind bolt or wind strike. Next is the frozen fountain to the west of the central pedestal. Simply use a fire offensive spell to melt the ice in the fountain. Head to the room to the northwest of the pedestal and give the cake to the hungry old man named Pentyn. You will now be able to pass through the magic barrier, north out of the central room. Go through and up the ladder. Go through the magic wall and climb up the stairs. Go south through the big room. You will be greeted by a boneguard. Use crumble undead on the boneguard, then continue south by climbing over his bones and go down the ladder that you will see ahead of you. You will see a skeleton here. Put your protect from melee-prayer on and talk to the skeleton for a moment and he will ask your help. Accept to help him. Search the rubble for sandstones weighing 5kg and put them on the wall one by one and use chisel on them every time after you added a sandstone to it. It should take three 5kg stones to finish the job. After the wall is finished you will see a cutscene. Talk to the skeleton once more. This completes the quest.

Runescape Level 99 Ranging How to Guide

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

Getting to level 99 in Runescape is not impossible nor is it a hard task, ranging is just time consuming. This guide will explain a simple and easy way for Runescape p2p members to achieve this goal. I can not give an approximate length of time on how long it will take to get to level 99 ranging due to several factors like not everyone plays the same amount of time. Just like anything else the more you work at it the faster, easier and more rewarding it becomes.

Keep in mind that getting to level 99 can be very monotonous and one can become bored and even burn out on the task at hand. Make sure you take breaks from ranging and do something else that way you don’t become very bored with it and not want to do it anymore. Pace yourself and it will pay off.

From level one ranging to level twenty you will need a plain short bow an oak short bow and a willow short bow. The reason I say short bow and not long bow is because of he speed difference. When both the long bow and short bow are on rapid the short bow shoots the arrows at a speedier rate. You will also need bronze arrows. Yes bronze and lots of them. Bronze arrows are the cheapest arrow in the game. You do not need to worry about the expensive arrows until a much higher ranging level is acquired.

Now for the monsters! This is where the task becomes repetitive. You need to kill the men and women and the goblins in and around lumbridge until you are range level twenty. When you reach level 5 ranging you can switch to the oak short bow. At level 20 you can start to use the willow short bow. A money saving tip is to retrieve your arrows once you have killed a monster. It may take a few more seconds between kills but its well worth it because of the money you will save.

From level twenty to level forty you will need lots of bronze arrows. You will also need your willow short bow, a maple short bow and a yew short bow. The monsters to train on are the level 10 dwarfs that are between Falador and Varrock. You can still train on the men and women if you prefer to. Once you get to level thirty you can use the willow short bow. When you hit level 40 switch to the yew short bow.

How to Own in Bounty Hunter on RuneScape

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Uncategorized

This guide will explain how to train and own in Bounty Hunter. If you didnt know already, Bounty Hunter is a Runescape minigame. Only selected few worlds cater for Bounty Hunter. This minigame is for non members also and is a player vs player game only. If you just want the actual Bounty Hunter guide and not the training scroll down until you reach the heading ‘Bounty Hunter. But you can’t own if you are a noob, can you?

Steps

Create an account. Choose a catchy, unique username like ‘D34d Hybr1d’ or D34d R4nq3rz’. Once chosen, complete Tutorial Island.
Head to Barbarian Village and complete Stronghold of Security and Player Safety. You should have acquired 20k and two lamps. Rub both lamps and choose to level up ranged on both of them. You should have level 10 ranged now.
Ranged Training

Start training ranged. Food isn’t really neccesary here as you will be fighting in safe spots a lot, but it wouldn’t hurt to take several foods for the those trips back to the bank, when you have to leave your safe spot.
Take out from your bank, your Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow, Willow Shortbow, Maple Shortbow and Bronze Arrows. Equipt the Amulet of Power, Oak Shortbow and Bronze Arrows.
Go to the Chicken Coop and train on Chickens until level 20 ranged. Always pick up most of your arrows and arrows are quiet expensive if you are a low level player. If you wish you may want to collect the chicken drops, such as the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the raw chicken for leveling up your cooking level or the bones if you wish to get up your prayer level.
Once at level 20 ranged equip your Willow Shortbow and train on cows. Remember again, to pick up your arrows. You may wish to pick up the cow hides to sell for 100gp+ each, the bones for prayer,or the raw meat for cooking.
Once level 30 you are ready to move on from the Cows. Head to the Dwarven Mine and find the scorpions. There should be a few rocks (near some stairs) which you can use as a safe spot. Picking up arrows is optional here as you may get attacked by scorpians if you leave the safe spot. Scorpians do not drop anything.
At level 40 Ranged there are three monsters you can train on, Hill Giants, white knights, or you can continue to kill scorpians. Hill Giants are located in Edgeville sewers or you can access the direct Hill Giants lair (Near Varrock) with a brass key. These monsters are level 28. There should be a safe spot at the end of the lair. Again, you may or may not wish to pick up your arrows. Hill Giants give you best drops out of all the monsters you have trained on. Big Bones can be sold for 400-500gp each and if your lucky they may occasionaly drop Limpwurts used for herblore or sold for 600-700gp each.
When you reach 60 Ranged you may wish to stop or have a break from leveling up your ranged. If you you wish to continue to 60+ Ranged it’s suggested to go to Karajama and train on Lesser Demons. These babies are level 82 and hit 8’s, but don’t worry there is a couple of safe spots. Lesser’s drop runes, money (up to 600gp),very rarely rune medium helmets, and other worthwhile items. Here you should pick up your arrows and drops as the lessers are very slow at reacting.
Attack and Strength Training

Take plenty of food with you when training, just incase some monsters are too powerful for your 1 defence. Remember that you will be fighting in close combat, unlike ranged, so you will always be under attack.
If you havn’t already sold or used any of your drops from training on ranged it’s suggestted you do. Once you have done that, go to a bank and take out the following: Iron Scimitar, Steel Scimitar, Black Longsword (scimitar costs 4k and sells slowly), Mithril Scimitar and Rune Scimitar. You can put back all your ranged gear as you will not need it for this part.
Head to the Chicken Coop in Lumbridge and train your attack and strength to level 10. Again, you mayt wish to pick up the feathers (stackable) for fletching and fishing or the bones for prayer or the raw chickens for cooking.
Once you have reached 10 Attack and Strength head north of Falador and enter the monastory. There should be level 5 monks, with 15 HP! These guys are equivelent to the well known, members Rock Crabs or Experiments. If you have 24 prayer ocassionaly you may find a Monk drops a Monk Robe, pick it up, its worth 200-300gp each. They drop bones if you want prayer levels.
If you have reached level 20 attack and strength, congratulations! Head back to cows and go train on cows. Cows drop bones for prayer, raw meat for cooking, and cowhides, which sell for 100gp and over. Cows are a great money maker and monster as they have a hitpoints ratio of 4!
Finally, you may have reached 40 attack and strength, you can finally equip the ultimate weopon, the Rune Scimitar. Now, this is where the strength kicks in by itself. Head to the Stronghold of Security and start fighting the flesh crawlers or zombies, which are located in Level 2 of the dungeon. These guys don’t drop anything, so once you kill one, attack another one! Train on these for a while until you reach level 60 strength. Remember to never, ever get your attack higher the 40!
At 60+ strength you may have some difficulty trying to find a good training monster as you want fast xp but you dont want to fight a high level monster; as you have 1 defence. Well… the solution is; Red Spiders. These can be found in Varrock Sewers or Stronghold of Secrurity on level 3. The good thing about these creepy crawlys is that they always stay in a close knit group, so you will always find a kill. Food is important here as they hit a couple of 3’s every few kills. Spiders usually have a few egg respawns. Red Spider Eggs sell for 450gp.
Congratulations, if you have mastered 40 attack and at least 60 strength you have completed this part of training. Melle attack will be your most effective form of attack in Bounty Hunter, as most of your opponents will be Rangers.
Magic Training
The only reason to get your magic up is to use bind (20) and Bounty Locate (32). Magic isn’t effective in Bounty Hunter as most of your enemies will use ranged attacks.
Go to a bank and sell or use all your drops you got from training attack and strength. Desposit all your equipment except your Amulet of Power. Withdraw your Staff of Air, Mind Runes and Chaos Runes.
Go to the Cow Farm in Lumbridge and stand outside the fence. As magic attacks can be casted from a fair distance away, standing outside walls stop you from getting hit. Put your auto cast on to wind strike; attack the cows.
You are one or two more steps away from completing your beginner training to own in Bounty Hunter. Now, you will be using your chaos runes. Put auto cast on to wind bolt. Attack the cows until level 32 magic. Now you can use all the strike attacks, most bolt attack, low alchemy, Varrock Teleport, Lumbridge Teleport and the one and only… Bounty Locate!
You have finished your Magic training.Don’t worry about getting your magic level up anymore as magic isn’t effective against rangers, unless it is bind (5 second freeze).
Bounty Hunter

Hopefully you have succefully completed your training without dieing, and getting up your stats to: 40 attack, 60+ strength, 60+ Ranged, 32 Magic and you are under level 55 combat!
Bounty Hunter is a replacement for pking in the wilderness. Although this minigame is greatly disliked by a minority (pures), it is still very popular and competitive. What you are aiming for is to own in the low level crater. If you exceed level 55 combat your pure is ruined for life if your main objective is to player kill.
Put your run and have your maple shortbow and 100 adamant arrows equited. Step inside the low level Bounty Hunter crater.
Imediately upon entering you will be invincible for 6 seconds. In that 6 seconds use Bounty Locate spell and start ranging your opponent.
When your opponent gets to 1/3 of his/her health wield your Rune Scimitar and continue to attack your target. When she/he reaches 1/4 of there health pull out your Rune 2h Sword and kill them!
If they do not die. Start Ranging them until they get to 1/4 of there HP,
KO them and hopefully it should kill them. If you attempt to KO them
more then two times repeat the range then 2h method.
Once you kill them imediately eat again, to full health. Pick up the most valuable items first until you have no more inventory space. If you need to eat food to pick up something, access the risk: ‘Is it worth more then the swordfish?’ and ‘Can I sell it quickly or wear it?’ if you think yes to one of the following, pick it up.
If you have a team member, friend or another person ask to have something, do not reply and run out of the crater. If you did not kill your target then you will have a 180 sec penalty, which means you can’t leave the arena for 3 minutes. In that time people may attack you, so let them chase you around. When you lose them or cover a fair distance apart teleport to your target and repeat it need be. Thats why you need 5 Bounty Locate teleports.

Runescape Money Making Guide Part 5

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Money Making Guide

The fifth chapter of my Runescape money making guide.

Another great way to profit is to visit various shops located within Runescape. We will touch on a few of these in this chapter. The goal is to find items in demand, or rare items.

You will want to buy common items from shops, and then resell them high to other players. If you are a member there are certain shops in Runescape that only sell items to members, and the good thing is that many of these items can be used by F2P players.

Rune Shops (F2P and Members)

This will work in any Rune shop for any level. (However, if you have access to the Magic Guild, you can literally make millions in minutes!) When you visit the rune shops you are looking for high volumes of runes that are in stock.

Mostly Death, Law, Cosmic, Chaos, Mind… any rune that is used greatly by mages. Mages rely on runes to play and gain experience. The best place I have found to sell Runes in large quantities is to visit the WizardTower and head up to the 3rd floor. On this floor is the caged Lesser De- mon, the are normally tons of mages here as this is the prime spot to level and gain magic experience for all levels

When you arrive just ask if anyone needs runes, or if they are running low. Mages hate to interrupt there training, and love it when they can find ?runners? to go get runes for them.

I personally am a mage and I actually have hired ?runners? to run back and forth from Varrock and other towns to buy runes from the shop, and I pay them 2-3 times more than they have purchased them for. This is just an example of how this can work.

Always remember to change worlds to try and sell your runes. You may also wish to take orders.

If you choose to do this, just write down what everyone wanted, (write down there username and how much of whatever runes they want- ed) Once you have this information, simply visit the rune shop purchase the runes (switch worlds to find more runes in stock.)

Tip: The more of an item in stock the less is costs. So watch the price, when it increases to high, switch worlds, over time the stock will regenerate, then you can come back and continue to buy.

Caniffs Clothes Shop (Member)

Have you ever wondered wear those colored gloves come from? Well here they are. This is another EASY way to make a quick profit. This shop houses many different colored robes, boot, and gloves. Red, Teal, Gold, Gray…

You may choose to only sell gloves, this is up to you. I always choose to buy complete outfits. (Gloves, Boots, Robes). Once you have bought what you would like to sell, log into a members world and go to the Varrock Marketplace.
