Runescape SHILO VILLAGE QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: To start the quest go to the far south end of Karamaja. You will have to fight your way through jungle spiders, jogres, snakes and monkeys! Cross the slippery log and the stepping stones. Talk to Mosol Rei. He will say Rashiliyia, the queen of the dead, has returned.
Quest difficulty level: Hard.
Reward: 3,915 Crafting exp.
Quest points gained: 2.
Required Skills: Level 32 agility, level 20 crafting and must have completed jungle potion quest.
Introduction: This quest has lots of bad things that seem to want you dead… so I would strongly recommend you bring armour and food. Also bring a spade (which can be found in Draynor Mansion) bring a rope and a lit candle or torch (you can buy these at the general store by Trufitus).

Trufitus: Go to Trufitus with the wampum belt that Mosol rei gave you then tell him that you’ll help find the temple.
The temple: Go to the east side of the island and walk south along the coast till you find a log. Cross it and continue southward. To the west you should see a collection of rocks and a mound of earth. Dig there with your spade. You’ll discover a fissure. Use your candle on the fissure (it will burn out) then use the rope on it and climb down. Work your way past a few undead ones till you see a “cave in”. Search it then wiggle into it. Search the ‘loose rocks’ at the first corner and you will get a scroll. Now go down further and you will find some sacks. Search these and get another scroll. Right at the end of the tunnel you find some gallows, search it and you receive some remains. There are two ways to get out, either go back to where the broken table is and make a raft from it or go to the end of the path and click on the rocks. Now go back to Trufitus.
Trufitus: Use the scrolls and remains on him. Then read the scrolls yourself. Now go to the statue near Trufitus hut and bury the remains. A ghost will pop up - listen to him and he will give you a bone shard. Go back and tell Trufitus that you buried the remains, he will then tell you about a tomb you have to find.
Tomb of Bervirius: Trufitus will tell you about a tomb that lies south west of his hut. Go there. You’ll have to climb up a rock cliff and cross a rope bridge to get to an island. Go down the side and search the rocks. Once you’ve climbed in go to the back of the room and search the table. Here you will find the hilt to a sword and a locating crystal. Search it again to find a blue scroll. Climb the rocks and return to Trufitus. Use the items you have found on him and he’ll tell you to make a bronze necklace.
Necklace: To make the necklace go to the general store north of the anvil and buy a chisel, bronze bar, hammer. Use chisel on the pummbel to get beads. Use the bronze bar on the anvil and make bronze wire. Use the beads with the wire to make beads of the dead.
Tomb of Rashillya: Go across the slippery log once more. Once you get off the log go north, there you will fine some bright palm trees, search them to find a doorway (make sure you are wearing the beads of the dead) once you reveal the doors you need to use the bone shard on them… it will say it does not fit, now you can use your chisel on the bone shard to get the bone key. Use the key on the door and enter (make sure you have armour and food) go through the gate and climb down the rocks. Get ready to run… keep going west until you find tomb doors. Kill a few zombies and skeletons to get 3 bones. Use them all on the door then open it. Be prepared to fight a level 91, 68 and 93. Look at the tomb dolmen and the ground will shake. You have to fight 3 consecutive battles. After you defeat them all Rashillya’s bones will appear on the table. Take them.
Quest completion: Take the remains to Trufitus and he tells you to look over your artefacts. Take the remains to the tomb of Bervirius and set Rashillya’s bones on the tomb dolmen.

Runescape AN ENLIGHTENED JOURNEY QUEST STRATEGY

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Starting location: Talk to Auguste north of the herblore shop on Entrana.
Quest difficulty level: Medium.
Reward:4,000 Firemaking, 3,000 Farming, 2,000 Crafting, 1,500 Woodcutting, Flight cap and jacket, Ability to use the balloon transport system, Ability to make origami balloons.
Quest points gained: 1.
Required Skills: Level 20 Firemaking, Level 30 Farming, Level 36 Crafting.
Required Quest Points: 20.
Required Items: Three papyrus, one ball of wool, one sack of potatoes (10), one unlit candle, yellow dye, red dye, ten silk, bowl, eight sacks, twelve willow branches, 10 normal logs, tinderbox.
NPC: Auguste.

AN ENLIGHTENED JOURNEY QUEST WALKTHROUGH
Talk to Auguste, who will tell you he wishes to leave Entrana by means of a hot air balloon. After a bit of discussion, he will send you out to collect items for his experimentation: three sheets of papyrus, one ball of wool, one full sack of potatoes, and one unlit candle.
Take the requested items to Auguste and he will tell you to construct an origami balloon. To do this, use your ball of wool on a papyrus sheet, then on your unlit candle. Give this to Auguste and you will get a cutscene where you release the origami balloon, which flies, then burns. Give him your remaining supplies for a second test. This one will fly steadily until a “flash mob” (a mob of angry peasants) destroys it.

Auguste is now ready to produce the real thing, and needs you to collect even more materials for him: Yellow dye, red dye, ten pieces of silk, a clay bowl, and eight sandbags, which are made by filling sacks with sand from a sandpit. He will also give you a willow sapling and a basket of apples to pay for its growth, so you can collect 12 branches from it for the platform; however, you do not have to use the tree he provides you, you may use your own. If you don’t know where to find items, you can ask Auguste (for example, a bowl spawn can be found upstairs in the glassblower’s house on Entrana.) Give him any items you have brought, then collect the rest and bring them to him. Use the willow branches on the platform to construct the platform. After doing so, Auguste will construct the balloon. Talk to Auguste, who will tell you that the balloon is theoretically ready for its maiden voyage. He will now tell you that it will be you piloting the balloon, not him, and he will instruct you on how to control it. You will need to bring 10 logs and a tinderbox to get the balloon started up.

In order to pilot the balloon your total weight must be under 40kg. Your goal is to pilot the balloon from one target to another without colliding with anything: trees, buildings, birds, or even clouds, all of which could damage the balloon. Dropping sandbags makes you go up significantly, while adding logs makes just a little bit of lift. To see how many sandbags and logs you have left, look to the right of their pictures. There are two ropes in the balloon, a red one for emergency drops, and one for smaller drops. Relaxing moves the balloon one step to the right. If you bail or crash, you will have to return to Entrana with another 10 logs to attempt the puzzle again.

For the first stage, click the sandbag and the log icons to move your balloon up three spaces. Now click Relax nine times. Now click the normal rope icon three times to move between the clouds and birds and finally click Relax repeatedly until you reach the right-hand side of the screen.

For the second stage, click Relax three times and then click a sandbag to move quickly upward. Now click Relax seven times, click the log icon to climb slightly over the roof of the building and then click Relax until you reach the end of the stage.

For the final stage, click Relax seven times. This will place you in a tight position. Click the red rope to dive sharply and then a normal rope and Relax three times. To finish the puzzle, click the log icon to climb up, the normal rope once to descend again and then Relax four times.

You will find yourself in Taverly to the right of the tree allotment. Speak to Auguste and he will congratulate you for a successful voyage. In return for your help, he will provide you with a flight helmet and jacket and the ability to use the balloon to travel to distant locations.

Murder Mystery Quest

Posted by: cow  //  Category: Runescape Quests

Items Needed: Pots.
Skills Needed: None.
Rewards: 3 Quest Points, 2000 gp, 1406 Crafting Experience.

Begin this quest by walking to Sinclair Mansion, north of the Seer’s Village. Talk to the Guard out front, and take the mission.

Image

You have to talk to the various people walking around the mansion to get clues as to who killed Lord Sinclair.

Image

Talking to the Gossip hanging near the chicken pen will reveal the 6 suspects, all kids of the murdered Lord. He’ll also tell you about how to take fingerprints. Talk to everyone in the castle, then investigate the area.

Image

Image

Investigate the sacks in the shed for some flypaper, and investigate the barrels in each of the 6 suspect’s rooms for various items.

Image

Take the pot and knife from the room where the murder took place, and check the smashed window for evidence.

To lift fingerprints from something, first, use flour on it, then use flypaper on it, and you’ll break with a clean copy of the fingerprint. Do so on the murder weapon and the 6 people’s items, and then compare the murderer’s prints to find the person who killed Sinclair. However, the guard will tell you that you need more evidence.

Image

If you talked to everyone, you’ll find out that a poison salesman was seen recently. Talk to him at the tavern in Seer’s. Return to the Sinclair mansion and question people as to why they bought poison.

Investigate each person’s claim. You’ll find that one lied. Present all of your evidence to the guard to finish the quest.
